Sorry for the really long wait, I've been upset since one of my friends is leaving and I can no longer access my email so I had to make a new one for it. I've also been distracted by an old cartoon :P
And I've realized that I have completely forgotten about Mr Tanaka in the story, so I'll just say he had to help Mr Thorndyke with something or he's gone to visit family

Everything was pretty quite the next morning, Sam had left to go back to his house seeing as he wasn't really needed much there, but it was mainly because Diana had locked him out after something he said to her
Chuck and Tails were looking for a way to turn Chris back, Diana was grumbling in the kitchen. And Sonic was...
Well...Sonic decided that it was fun to annoy Chris
Sonic had found another tennis ball and a very long piece of string. He attached the string to the tennis ball and he was currently sitting on the couch rolling the tennis ball around it. Every minute he was see a paw reach out from under the couch and try and grab the rolling tennis ball, but Sonic would then suddenly change direction or lift the ball off the ground
Just by watching this I'm starting to wonder if Chris is part cat as well as a dog, cause I don't think dogs act like this. Or maybe it's because even though he has the body of a dog he has the brain of a human and that he's just learning. Thought Sonic has he watched his new pass time
When Sonic first started the game Chris had just ran around in circles after it but then got dizzy and decided hid under the couch to try and grab it.
I don't get it what's so memorising about a tennis ball anyway, as soon as It rolls he goes straight after it...It has to be a dog thing Sonic concluded
*ring, ring*
Sonic stopped his game as soon as the door bell rang, he heard footsteps and a door opening
"what the-there's more of ya"
He heard Diana shout and watched as she entered the living room and gave him another glare of hatred and then she left. He was starting to get used to them now
"Soonniicc"
Sonic was then attacked by a pink blur, he already knew who it was
"Ah Amy I ...can't... breathe here" Sonic gasped out as he was losing oxygen from the pink hedgehog's hug
He then sighed in relief as the grip around him loosened
Chris snickered softly as he watched the two hedgehogs from under the couch
Chuck and Tails then ran into the living room because of the shout they heard and as soon as they saw that it was Amy they sighed out in a relief, thinking that there had been an Eggman attack or something
The rest of their friends who came with Amy also came to the living room to see what was going on
By then Amy had released her hold on Sonic and was now smiling at him
"Hey Amy, you girls are back early how come?" Asked Tails to which Ella answered
"Mrs Thorndyke had to start filming earlier than what was planned, so we had to come back here" she explained
Cream and Cheese looked around the room and stopped when they looked in the direction of Chris, they walked over to him and picked him up.
"Awww a puppy" she said and was hugging him whilst Cheese waved up and down happily
Amy saw what they were fawning over and also started to fawn over him
"Awww its sooo cute, when did you guys get a puppy here. Oh you're just so adorable"
Chris just let the two girls cuddle him as he didn't know what to do except blush in embarrassment. Until Amy came to a conclusion
"That collar looks sorta tacky though. I know! Let's put a nice big pink bow on you instead"
As soon as that was said Chris jumped out of the girls arms and hid straight back under the couch
Now there's an idea I could use, thought Sonic
Ella looked around and said "where is master Chris is he here? And when did Diana come back I haven't seen her here for years"
As soon as that question popped up the atmosphere started to become slightly awkward and the males got a sheepish look on their faces
*cough, cough*
Everyone turned to look at Diana leaning on the wall, she gave the boys a look that said 'are you going to tell them or do I have to do it'
"So that puppy is actually Chris and Eggman is the one who is responsible"
The boys and Diana nodded at Cream's words. They had spent 20 minutes explaining to the others on what had been happening over the past few days
"But what does Eggman get out of turning Chris into a puppy? I don't get that" said Amy
"That's a good question. What does he get out of it?" Questioned Tails
"To just makes us worry maybe" suggested Cream
"Probably didn't he say that he had this new full proof scheme or something, he might have an antidote or something that could change Chris back and could end up using it against you Sonic" Chuck said
"What you mean like blackmail?" Asked Sonic, to which earned some nodded heads
"Well I betcha that whatever Egghead has up his sleeves is probably just another robot, and it will go down just like all the ones before it. And Chris will get turned back to normal in no time" Sonic replied sounding pretty sure of himself
The said person they were talking about was currently lying half asleep on the sofa being stroked by Cream, it was becoming more noticeable about the personality change he was going through as he was starting to act more like a dog than an actual human
"In the meantime it might be best just to keep him here inside the house, it will be easier to keep an eye and it would be safer too. I doubt that the big city is a good place for a small puppy to be wondering about" said Chuck
Diana almost fell face flat on the floor upon hearing that statement
"Wait! You're not planning on putting him under house arrest are you" her yell was more of a statement than a question
Chuck nodded "yes. Like I said he'll be safer that way, and it'll make it easier to keep an eye on him. Why is there a problem with that?" He asked his niece
"Uncle did you forget that he is a part of the devil trio! He may be good one of the lot and more responsible, and he may not be the ringleader but he is still the smart one! He formulates the plans and formulates ways to get them out of getting caught"
Chuck rolled at his eyes at his niece's protest; Ella gave a soft laugh whilst the mobians in the room were confused
Devil trio? Everyone else thought
"Oh not this again. Diana I think you starting to over exaggerate on that, I know about their little...adventures? But surely they cannot be so bad, in fact I think that the only time they became...troublesome is when you kept trying to make them do extra homework or when they had become very bored" Chuck replied back to her
Diana stuttered a little as she continued to talk "y-yes well I-I-I wanted them to get good grades in their studies. So I thought that some extra work would be good for them"
"Some of that 'work' you gave them they weren't supposed to learn it for another 3 grades yet. And don't deny it I know about it because Chris came to me about it to ask for help with it, he was in kindergarten and you gave him second grade work" Chuck retorted at his niece (AU: I don't know much about the American system, since I use the British so I had used the internet. So please forgive if I have it wrong)
"That's not the point here! The point I'm trying to make is that it is wrong to just house bound him, and that there is a good chance that Chris could try and get out. No kid likes being under house arrest they go stir crazy and before you know it there are smoke screen cover ups and chicken feather and rose petals covering you from head to toe. And then! You hear their evil little laughter, laughs of sinister cunning diabolical little children. And it would be worse now since he's been turned into a puppy, they are so curious that they would follow almost anything. If the gate was left opened he could very well just walk through it and POOF! Be gone forever and never come back"
At this point of Diana's ranting Chuck had snapped
"THAT'S ENOUGH!"
Everyone else had jumped slightly at the tone of voice the old scientist had used, it may had been the first they heard him speak like that, for Ella though had a small worried frown as if already knowing what may happen
"Look Diana I don't know what went you went through when you looked after kids, but the last time you looked after him was six years ago and it was only during the holidays. Whereas I've looked after him almost his entire life and I've barely had any problems with him, maybe the way you raise children is different from mine. But my decision is final! Chris will just have to stay in the house until we turn him back"
Diana hesitated before putting her head down and speaking in a low voice "fine" she then swiftly left the room
Chuck sighed whilst putting his hand on his temple hoping to try and get rid of the starting headache
"That women will be the death of me one of these days" he mumbled as he also left the room
Everyone else was left in silence stunned at what had just occurred
"Uh? What just happened?" Amy was the first to speak up
"Good question...I'm guessing they're on bad terms now" replied Sonic
"I'm afraid your right about them Sonic"
Everyone looked to Ella who had just spoke
"What do you mean Ella?" Asked Cream
"I'm afraid I can't say everything dearie it's not my place too, but I can say that those two haven't been on good terms for the past six years, I don't know the full thing apart that they were arguing over something. They used to have arguments before then but they weren't as bad as back then, but I think that they're still mad at each over about the one years ago" she explained
She then sighed "oh well I'd better get dinner started then, why don't you three help me out then" she asked looking towards a Cream, Cheese and Amy. The three of them nodded and they all left the room. Tails left to go back to the lab, leaving Sonic and Chris alone.
Chris had fallen asleep halfway through the 'discussion' between his aunt and grandfather, and Sonic was left to his own thoughts
Wow...I didn't think Chuck could get snap like that, I wonder what they argued about before. And what's this whole 'Devil Trio' thing was Chris apart of a little miniature gang thing, Sonic had to suppress a laugh at that thought, ok~ I can't see that happening once Chris is back to normal I'm making him tell me about his 'little adventures'
I wonder what their argument was about, was it really that bad to cause tension between them for six years, Sonic thought
"Well whatever it was it still doesn't change my view about that witch, I still don't like her" he said aloud
He then had a small grin "now where did that tennis ball go"
He started searching the room for it but to no avail, he then scratched his ears In confusion
"Well looks like I have to find another one or maybe I should go for a run...yep a run sounds better" he then ran out the living room
As soon as Sonic left the room Chris opened his eyes and checked to see if anyone was around
Knowing that he was alone the boy/pup gave a small sigh
I knew that as soon as Oba-chan got here that she and grandpa would start fighting again, I'm just grateful that they didn't let slip on what it was about. And now I'm also on house arrest that's definitely not going to end up well, considering on what happened when Oba-chan put me on it last that was probably one of the worst cases
The boy sighed again
And did they really have to mention the Devil Trio that was supposed to be a secret, in fact how'd they ever come with name I don't get it we weren't that bad...some of the time anyways I hope that I turn back soon I really don't want to stay stuck like this. . A look of slight horror went into his eyes. And I REALLY hope that he doesn't find out about this, if he did then I wouldn't ever hear the end of it. It's bad enough with Sonic and the tennis balls I don't need any more embarrassment than that.
Remembering the tennis balls a small evil smirk appeared on the his face
Hehe Sonic will never find that tennis ball, he may be my friend but that little game wasn't funny and if he gets anymore of them they'll just end up like the first and second
The boy started yawning again, here we go again I wish Oba-chan would stop giving me those pills she knows I hate them and they make me sleep...but they never made me this sleepy or have headaches either
The boy's eyes started to droop and the headache was giving him some pain so he gave in to the awaiting darkness to try and get away from the pain
