Chapter One

The clock struck 3 the echo of the bell roar among the school letting everyone know it was time to leave, Momo let out a groan, one of the very few people in her population that enjoyed learning. Heading out of the classroom she made her way to the library; usually Momo would spend at least 2 hours after school there. She enjoyed reading books, being there was paradise. Her quiet sanctuary contrasted to her zoo of a house.

While strolling to the entrance she saw the number one hottie leaning against the wall talking to another one of his victims. Momo rolled her eyes.

"Every time." she muttered under her breath, as she walked past him and his little victim. As she reached the entrance of the library, she heard the school hottie speak.

"What did you say?"

Momo froze in her tracks. Damn it he heard me, Momo spun around and smiled innocently. "I didn't say anything." Momo said sweetly.

"Didn't sound like it." he approached her, ignoring his victim. He towered over her. She had never realised how tall he was or how short she was until that point Toushiro's looming shadow towered over her.

"You heard wrong." she gulped and she opened the library door and quickly closed it behind her before she could hear his reply.

She let out a sigh. That... was scary. She just talked to the school's most popular guy and it was about the comment she made about him too, making her way to her usual comfy spot in the library with her book out ready to read.

A few minutes in her book, her comment instantly went to the back of her mind. Little did she know the school hottie was watching her from a distance with a smirk acquiring his face.

2 hours had passed, Momo had read almost half of her book. Momo had read it before but it was her favourite so she would read it over and over. Each time she read it she found a new detail, she found it amazing that a world could be created in words and feel like she lived and breathe in it. Momo let out a sigh as she realised the library was closing. She closed her book, put her bag on and started to make her exit. At the corner of Momo's she saw a glimpse of white silvery hair. Is that... Toushiro? She turned her head around to see what who that was. Definitely Toushiro. He was on his cellphone, protruding his touchscreen. seemed like he was texting. What's a popular guy still doing at school? Momo thought, she shrugged thinking nothing curious of it. She took five steps to the exit before she was interrupted by none other than the most popular guy of highschool.

"Oi. You."

She paused, wondering if she should answer, was he even calling out to her The plainest, nerdiest and most average girl in highschool been noticed by the Hitsugaya Toushiro, and for the wrong reasons. Mentally she cursed herself before putting a fake smile.

"Heh hey, I just wanted to apologise for what I said earlier, you know?"

He looked up from his screen. His emerald eyes glistened in amusement. He continued to gaze at her which seemed to her like a few thousand years but in reality just ten seconds. Her heart began to pound with adrenaline, ready to make a break for it. Why is that popular people always look calm and cool?

"You're Momo right?" He questioned, Momo only looked at him, like a deer in the headlights. He asked again. "Hinamori Momo? You're Hinamori Momo right?"

"I am, what do you want?" Momo tried to say coolly, she ended up speaking in a high pitched mouse tone.

Toushiro raise his head, his eyes and mouth spoke it all. His eyes twinkled with a look that could only be described as amusement, his lips curved upwards into a smirk. Momo held her breath. This is the Toushiro every girl must see.

God damn he's hot

"I want to know you Momo." Smirk staying on his face throughout every word.

Her breath hitched, she could feel her face slowing flushing to crimson.

"Uhh I've g-got to g-go." and with that she had rushed out the door before Hitsugaya could say anything just like before. Momo didn't stop running until she was halfway from home.

What was that? Am I Toushiro's next target?

Hey guys I'm back after two years? I might not even be back for a long time again but I wanted to update since I did say I would.
