Sakura sighed. She was used to having to work overtime, but the hospital had been thrown up since Naruto had arrived, impaled with 20 kunai. She decided to leave Tsunade with the patient she was dealing with so she could check up on Naruto.
"Tsunade-sama, can I go check on Naruto-kun? I think the IV meds have run out." Sakura said, making up the excuse. She knew that she was an intern, and that interns usually slipped up with medications given through an IV drip.
"Yeah, yeah. Just make sure you don't OD him, and don't stay too long. I need you with me for when we preform the surgery on Kankuro-kun at lunch" Tsunade said.
Sakura smiled and ran out the door. She may have been an intern, but she paid attention to the medicine she gave Naruto. It wouldn't run out for HOURS! She ran down to the 2nd floor and knocked on room 10.
"Come in!" she heard Naruto yell from his bed. She opened the door. She looked at the bed. He was gone! Where did he.. She thought. All of a sudden she felt the cold tip of a scalpel pointed at the tip of hr throat.
"Don't. Move." Naruto said, his voice was laced with menace. Sakura looked behind her, feeling the scalpel shake at her throat. She could tell that Naruto was confused, but subconciusly knew he was threatening her.
"Naruto, what are you doing? Why don't you put the scalpel down and we can talk about this over a bowl of Ichiraku's ramen." She allowed chakra to intertwine with the words. She found that she could do that when she trained with Tsunade. She could convince people to do as she said.
"Yeah, that would be nice." Naruto replied, letting the scalpel drop to the ground. Sakura sighed in releif. She started to turn around to give her friend a hug, when she felt a sharp, burning pain on the side of her chest. She looked, and saw a kunai sticking out. She looked up at Naruto, her eyes going hazy.
"If I didn't want to keep my secrets secret anymore that is." That was the last thing she heard before passing out."
