Hey! Sorry about the late update, I had no way to access the story. As you can tell by the last ch, iPhone sucks and I have to use it again :/ this opens up with a dream. This ch came out longer then expected!

Thanks Koopaling and Angela for reviewing!

Chapter 31: Dreams

Peach

"Uh...buh bye!" My three year old self called after Bowser as clearly as I could with Toadsworth practically dragging me away from my playmate.

"Uh...see you later, Peach!" Bowser called back, being dragged off by Kamek himself. I vaguely remember seeing him leave.

Next thing I knew, I was in the throne room. My father of all people was talking to me. He rarely did when he was still alive, so I cherished and remembered this conversation, as it was one of our only. I could still remember his dark pink spots on his cap; his auburn handlebar mustache.

"Peach...you mustn't be friends with Bowser," he spoke to me gently.

I tilted my head in curiosity. "Bu why?" I spoke childishly.

He sighed. "Because he, his father, and his whole race are monsters."

My mouth opened in shock. "Mo-monstas?"

"Yes, monsters."

I frowned. "Bu...Bowsa's notta monsta..."

"Oh trust me, he is. He may seem nice at first, but he's like the ones in your story books. He's dangerous and tricky!"

"I-I...uh..." What he was saying made no sense; Bowser was really nice! He was really fun to play with, so he couldn't be a monster! I wanted to prove him wrong but...he was my father. The king. He rarely spoke to me with so much feeling and care so...he had to be at least a little right, didn't he?

"Please Peach. The whole town thinks so too."

Part of me had figured out the town didn't like him...but did they all really think he was a monster? I didn't know what to, but I finally gave in. A tear slid down my cheek as I spoke. "I-I'll...I'll stop playing with him."

Bowser

"What do you mean I can't hang out with Peach!?" I asked in my little eight year old body.

"I said you can't! Those little fungi are allies no more!" my father declared, his gray forehead pulsing with a vein from anger, his long white hair flipping as he flung his head. "How dare they even attempt to impede my conquest...I will destroy them!"

"But I wanna be with Peach! I...I love her!" I wailed.

My father's eyes flashed with anger, and he quickly struck me across the face. "Don't ever say that! You don't love that fungus hugging bitch! She hates you anyway!"

"What!?" I wailed louder, my face smarting from the pain. I could feel some blood mix with my tears as they trailed down my cheek.

He smiled sinisterly. I'll always remember that smile; a row of menacing teeth, with two sticking out, ready to rip the world apart. "That's right...she thinks you're a monster! Just like everyone else does!"

"No...you're wrong! You're wrong!" I yelled. I quickly ran from the throne room, escaping his echoing laugh.

I tried to see Peach, but no one would let me. They threw rocks at me, calling me a monster. I got angry...I blackout when I'm angry. I didn't realize how bad it was until my teen years. But when I came to, I had kidnapped Peach. Her eyes were always filled with disdain when she'd look at me...but never hate. Never the same eyes as the townspeople. Or even my own people, who knew the truth about my rage; like Clawdia. A girl like her could never hate or truly think I was a monster.

I woke up with a start. "...Just another dream."

Fawn

I sat in my room in the brown dress Tina gave me, frowning. I had eaten the meal Jimmy brought me, and he left, despite my desire to continue talking to him. He seemed busy...and slightly peeved that I had abandoned him when he had been shot by Junior. I was busy working! Besides, it was just paint...a lot of paint.

To be honest, I was a little sad. Yesterday, the day after Roy's party, everyone suddenly started ignoring me. In fact, they left! Kamek said that the eight Koopalings, Peach, and Bowser, all needed to take care of 'political things', and left me here alone. I was very sad to be alone...and I was afraid something similar would happen today. I was convinced it would in fact; I was sure he'd rather be with Peach after my screw ups at the party. Until, that is, he came barging in to my room.

"Hey Fawn," he remarked casually, now standing in the middle of my room.

And all I could really do was stare at him in shock. I wasn't expecting this. "Um...hi?"

He quirked an eyebrow at my response, but shoved pass it. "So, you know what I noticed we haven't done yet since you got here?"

Talk? "Um..."

"Go outside! Why don't we all do that? You know, all day. And night. We're camping."

"Um...well..."

"The Koopalings and Peach are all getting ready. We'll meet up and go in the Sky Ship. We're all going camping in Dark Dark Woods! So hurry up and take what you need. See you in a few!" With that invitation, he promptly took off.

I was incredibly confused, not processing most of it. Regardless, I knew enough that I smile came to my face. "Ok...thanks..."

Peach

I was lounging in my cabin in the Sky Ship, brushing my hair, when someone knocked at my door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Your very own personal stud muffin," a deep voice called from behind the door.

I giggled at Bowser's absurdity. "I'm sorry, I don't think I know anyone like that."

"You sure? He's the ultimate lady-slaying bad ass in all the kingdom, who's got his sights right on you."

I still wasn't completely comfortable with him and his forwardness and humor, so I blushed. "I um..."

"Now I think you know who I am."

"Oh thank the stars, it's Mario!" I teased, finding it too perfect to pass up despite my discomfort. I was right.

He swung the door open, looking upset. "I am NOT Mario! I'm Bowser! I'm a million times better then that chubby plumber! I'm a jacked up king, damn it!"

I almost felt like I should be a bit defensive for Mario. "I wouldn't say 'jacked'; I think you may have some flab on the sides there."

He blushed and spoke, louder now, "It's uh...it's muscle! It's the shell! It's uh...um..."

Despite it all, I giggled, feeling a little closer to Bowser. "I'm sure, I'm sure. I shouldn't have teased you like that."

Calming down, he grinned sheepishly as he shut the door behind him, now standing in the room with me. "Yeah, well...guess it beats you not talking to me at all."

I stiffened a little, looking away. There was a part of me that still felt bad that I was talking to him...but there was a part of me that felt bad for treating him the way I did in the first place."Yes...I suppose."

He noticed my mood shift and it was clear he felt awkward. So he changed the subject quickly. "What do you think she's doing?"

I turned to where he was pointing. Out my window, you could see the deck. Fawn was standing at the railing, observing the forest we would land in soon keenly. She was leaning so far, without concentrating on anything else, I was almost afraid she'd fall.

"Guess she's observing the forest...we'll be landing soon, right?"

"Yeah...but she brought some weird stuff with her. You'd think she'd bring clothes or something on this trip, but she brings a bow and arrow and ropes and stuff!"

"Well, she is a hunter."

"But this is a camping trip, not a hunting trip."

I giggled. "She probably doesn't know the difference. Interesting choice by the way. Why camping? We just needed to distract her for the day."

He shrugged. "Came to mind when I thought of things she might like."

"That's nice...do you think she'll like the gifts we all bought her yesterday?"

"I'm sure...she likes everything, really," he commented reflectively, staring out at her.

I nodded. "That's true...but I feel bad that we basically ditched her though."

"Well, what can you do? She needed presents!"

"Yeah I know...I just hope she wasn't too lonely."

He shrugged, and he paused before saying, "Well, we're almost landing. I better go help out. See you!"

I smiled. "Goodbye Bowser."

I was surprised when he practically ran out. At first I dismissed it, but when I looked out the window again, I saw why he did it. He had ran to tell Fawn to quit leaning on the railing out of concern.

Fawn

We landed in one of the few clearings in the forest. I didn't process the Sky Ship leaving, as I immediately began to analyze the land.

The grass was luscious and green, with the sun shaded by clouds, yet shining down on us. We were surrounded by the trees of the old, which appeared large and menacing in nature, with big bushels of leaves. I knelt down and felt the grass. I had a book on agriculture around the world that I'd used to study back in the village. It was part of our school's curriculum. I forgot the name of the grass, but it was lush and dark green; a very healthy breed, only capable of growing in black soil. I grinned, realizing how luscious these woods most likely were. It was weird being in woods beside my own, yet exciting.

I quickly ran past the clearing and in to the woods. Once in, I noticed the grass was slightly more sparse to accommodate the trees. I was right about the soil; it was dark and nutrient rich. I could see why they called it the Dark Dark Woods; the trees were so thick they covered the sunlight.

"Fawn! Calm down and get back here!" Bowser's gruff voice called.

I blushed, realizing how caught up I'd gotten. "Oh, uh, right! Sorry!"

I quickly ran back, meeting up with Bowser and the group. We were now all alone with the camping equipment, and Bowser's henchmen would come and pick us up tomorrow mourning. I ran to them, hearing their conversation.

"So, where should we camp?" Peach asked the group.

"Why don't we just camp here? It's a nice spot!" Bowser offered.

I immediately countered. "That's not a good idea. The sun is shining strong out here, and it will make Peach and I very hot very soon, as we are human. Plus it's a bad position in the case that wildlife may attack us."

"Wildlife!?" Peach gasped.

Bowser frowned. "There are no dangerous wild life here!"

I backtracked. "Well...um, theoretically speaking."

Bowser snorted, crossing his arms. "Well, where do we go then?"

"There's a spot around one hundred and fifty yards away with more sparring tree coverage. Enough to provide shade from the sun, and the possibility of a chilling wind at night, but not so much that we'll be unable to make a camp and see clearly," I responded immediately. I had put a lot of thought in to it. It was why I was observing the forest so keenly when I had the chance to from the Sky Ship.

He blinked, not expecting that response. There was a small pause.

"Well...I suppose that seems like a good plan," Peach commented.

Bowser stared before crossing his arms again, looking away. "Humph. This clearing should be good enough...but fine."

I smiled shyly. "Alright...it's this way." I pointed north, the direction I remember the spot being. I began to walk and the group followed suit. After a while, we made it to the the spot. The ground was splotched with the shade of the leaves overhead, that still allowed some light to pass for us to see. The grass was thin but green beneath us, and the dark brown trees were spaced enough to give us room for camp.

Bowser Junior

After some walking, and some of Wendy's whining, we made it to the camping spot Fawn wanted to go to. It was good! It was shady, but not really, and it looked like it could fit a tent.

"Alright, here's the spot," Fawn announced. "The pond is that way, and another clearing is that way, in case the Koopalings want to play." She pointed in directions, and I remembered which one was the clearing.

"Humph...guess this is an okay spot," Papa said, sounding grumpy for whatever reason.

Mama Peach smiled. "It's lovely Fawn. It was a bit too hot where we first landed..."

Fawn smiled, nodding shyly. "Well, how about we start making camp?"

Papa and Pinky nodded, both dropping the bags on their back. Pinky groaned once he let go. "Damn, what am I? Ya guys' mule or sometin?"

"Thank you for carrying the supplies Roy," Fawn replied. "If you like, I could take care of setting up camp."

Roy blinked before grunting. "Whateva; might as well help. Got nutin betta to do."

Fawn nodded and she unzipped one of the bags.

"Hey, don't forget about me!" Papa chided.

They began to set up the tent, and I kind of watched them, not really paying attention.

"Hey Junior, could you bring me that rod over there?"

Snapping to, I looked around for way Fawn was talking about. Finding a small metal rod that was supposed to hold the tent up, I grabbed it and ran it to her. When I got to her, she was talking to Pinky. I could sort of hear them.

"Are you going to write, Roy?" Fawn asked him as he was leaving the campsite.

"Shuddup!" he huffed, storming away. I was confused by the scene, but Fawn noticed me, so I forgot.

"Oh, thank you Junior," she said, taking the rod from me.

"No problem Fawn!" I said happily. "Hey, want to play later?"

"Hm...I'll think I'll have to pass. I'll be busy."

I pouted. "Aw! With what?"

"Collecting firewood, collecting berries, maybe hunt some animals."

"Can I help?" I asked, thinking it might be fun, and having nothing else to do.

Fawn smiled prettily. "Sure! Thank you for the help!"

Peach

I watched the little youth with fiery hair frolic in the grassy field. He was playing with some little girl...that's right. They'd play all sorts of games. Like hide-and-go seek, tag, house...where did all that go?

"Hey! Are you, like, even paying attention?"

I snapped out of it and looked around me. I had been lying against a tree in the shade, watching Larry, Morton, and Bowser Junior play. I turned my head to see Wendy. "Sorry...I guess I dozed off..."

She chuckled and said, "Well, like, it must get boring just sitting here, watching my brothers playing. Like, lame!" She scrutinized me on the ground. "You, like, sure you should get your dress dirty?"

I shook my head and turned back to watch the kids play. "It's fine. I have plenty of them."

"But, like, they're all so pretty! You shouldn't waste a single one!"

I chuckled, seeing as this was the one moment where she wasn't acting spoiled. "Well...it's nice here, so I can afford it."

There was a pause. "You're so pretty Mama Peach."

I turned back to Wendy and smiled at her. I knew how she was. "Thank you Wendy. You are too."

She smiled at me and began to blush a little. Was she actually shy? "Hey uh...we didn't really get to hang out this trip. So do you want to maybe...you know, have a, like, girl's day out when we can? It's been a while, so-"

"I'd love that," I replied warmly.

She smiled largely and said, "Great! Or um...like, cool. Alright, I'm going to go to the pond. It's too dirty and hot here, my makeup will get, like, ruined!"

I chuckled and nodded. "Of course. I may join you later."

She smiled and left toward the pond that wasn't too far off.

"What were you thinking about?" A voice asked me before I could turn. But I didn't need to turn my head; I've seemed to grow so accustomed to that low, rumbling voice lately.

"Hello Bowser," I said, still watching the children. "Just...the past."

I heard something fall next to me, and I could see his gold scales in my peripheral vision, and could practically feel him sitting next to me. "The past? What do you mean?"

"Just daydreaming about the past."

I could tell he was grinning. "Was I in it?"

"You actually were."

"Oh, really?" I could hear victory in his voice, and some suggestiveness. "What was this little dream about?"

"Don't say it like that!" I said, laughing. "I was just dreaming of when we were kids..." I looked at him and smiled. "Junior looks a lot like you."

"That he does..." he muttered, shining with pride. "But our childhood, huh? Like when we used to play?"

"Yes...before our kingdoms made us stop."

He growled. "What even happened to stop that anyways?"

I chuckled. "Come on Bowser, I was three at the time, and I remember it better?"

"I don't pay attention to those types of things!"

I laughed and explained what I remembered. "My father and your grandfather had been working on peace negotiations between out kingdoms. Part of that was letting us play."

"Yeah...I remember that part..."

I sighed. "Then your dad came in to power, and refused an equal partnership. Basically he wanted all or nothing. So negotiations were ended, and our alliance was broken. As such, we stopped playing."

Bowser growled. "I hated my dad..."

I gave him a look of sympathy. "Why?"

He huffed, looking away. "He was an asshole...always wanted everything, never paid much attention to me."

I put my hand on his, knowing I couldn't offer pity for having a poor father.

He blushed and looked away. "Yeah..it's no biggie though. I'm king now, and I'm ten times better then he ever was."

I chuckled and looked out to the kids, Bowser doing the same. Although Junior suddenly stopped playing, and seemed to start urging the other two to do something. They nodded and suddenly ran in to the forest. I quirked my brow, but I wasn't too interested in them at the moment. Bowser and my hands never left I noticed...but I didn't care.

"...Bowser?"

"Yeah?"

"We shouldn't have stopped playing."

I wanted to see his reaction, so I looked at him. His smile broke out, it was a smile that I only knew on him. A lovestruck smile, and it made me feel warm and happy inside. I knew no man had ever made me feel like that...

He gripped my hand tighter. "Yeah. We shouldn't have."

I grinned. "Hey, Bowser?"

"What?"

I touched his shoulder softly, at first he seemed enraptured by this touch, until I suddenly ran away in to the clearing. "Tag! You're it!"

Roy

"Hm..." Bowser mumbled worriedly. Night was falling, and the violet Darklandian sky had set in. You could only see it through the little creases in the leaves of the trees. The dark orange light was shining from the horizon, spilling in through the numerous trees. It was becoming harder to see with the dimmer, more obstructed light. And that's why I was worried. "Where the hell is Fawn and the others?"

Once night began to fall, everyone had the common sense to go back to the camping site. Everyone except for Fawn, Morton, Lemmy, and Junior. They must've gone off in to the woods to play hunt or something. The only indication they were here was that the campfire was set. "Hm..."

"Bowser, should we go out and look for them?" Peach asked him worriedly.

I scoffed at the princesses stupid concerns leaning on a tree. Who the hell cared if she was a little late? "Don't get yo panties in a knot. It's just a forest, who da hell cares?"

"Well, like, the four of them are pretty stupid," said Wendy, as she filed her nails in her tent. "So I wouldn't be surprised if they, like, got in to some trouble."

"As hilarious as that would be, I don't think Fawn is that stupid," Larry grudgingly admitted, lying in the grass. "She is a forest girl, after all."

"Hm...but it's a curiosity what she could be doing..." Iggy mumbled, building something from twigs. "Curious specimen..."

Ludwig wasn't listening to any of us, opting to plug himself in to his music. He looked up and absently said, "Cast your eyes to the North. Fawn and company has returned from their perambulation."

I didn't know which way North was, so I looked where he was looking. I felt a pang of relief that I didn't know I had as I saw Fawn, Morton, Lemmy, and Junior, all emerging from the trees. But I saw a lot of Fawn.

Her face were smudged with dirt, as was her matted hair. Her café colored dress was dirty, and had several tears in it. But the most conspicuous ones were the ones at her side. She had ripped them up the sides to make slits, most likely to make running easier. I could see her toned legs...damn. I noticed she also had her backpack, bow, and quiver on her back. She had a smile that bordered a wild smirk. Her green eyes...were so alive. I realized this truly was her area, her home.

"Hey guys," she spoke to all of us. Her voice was louder now. More confident, more clear. I'd never seen her so present. "Sorry we're late. I was catching dinner with the boys."

I quirked a brow and looked over at my brothers. I was so focused on Fawn that I didn't notice them. They were filthy as well, and each carried a wild grin and little baggies. Inside them were what looked like cooked meat and food.

"Dinner?" Peach questioned. "But we brought food..."

Fawn shook her head as she approached the stack of logs for the campfire sand sat. "Not enough. I checked the supplies on the Sky Ship. You didn't bring enough to satisfy these guys' hunger."

She frowned and approached the cooler that was next to a tent. She looked through it, and her face lit up with shock. "Oh my...you're right! We must've forgotten some..."

"Well don't worry Mama Peach!" Junior said, grinning wildly. "We have enough now!"

"Yeah! We've got six rabbits, all seasoned with some spices Fawn had, and some fruits and berries!" Morton exclaimed excitedly, some dirt flying off his lips.

"It was a whole lot of fun catching them!" Lemmy exclaimed.

The three took their seats near Fawn at the campfire too. She grinned and looked at them. "They were all fast, eager learners. They got the ropes quickly."

"Well...ok then. Thank you..." Peach said, somewhat dazed.

Iggy cackled, but didn't say anything.

She eyed the logs in the campfire and turned to Bowser. "It's getting dark, you want to light this now?"

I turned to Bowser, and I noticed his face was rather...odd. He had on a somewhat dreamy look, and was staring straight at Fawn...he was ogling her! Like I was, a voice in my head said. I fought the urge to roll my eyes as Bowser suddenly snapped out of it at her voice, now fumbling. "Oh, what? Um, wait, I heard you...I've got this!"

He quickly ran up to the fire, probably hoping nobody noticed his blatant ogling, and blew fire on the logs. They lit up and a large fire grew, cackling. The smell of smoke began to spread our little camp as embers flew in to the air.

"Nice fireball, as usual," she said kindly, patting his shoulder. He chuckled...but it seemed nervous.

"Alright! Let's eat!" Fawn said. She took the baggies and began to pass everyone a rabbit and berries. The only ones who didn't get a rabbit were Fawn, Peach, Wendy, and Ludwig. Peach also began to pass out her sandwiches.

Everyone began to chow down. I instantly realized how savory and delicious the rabbit was, considering she had caught it. Whatever spices she'd used on it, they worked.

"Wow...the meat's good Fawn," I automatically spoke.

She smiled. "Thank you. I learned about some spices that make fresh catches taste better."

"It is good..." Bowser muttered. He caught himself. "Although I like Peach's sandwiches."

"Fawn also taught us about spices! And traps! And shooting too! It was really fun, I learned a lot about how to survive and-"

I tuned out Morton's ramblings as I finished my food. Once done, I stood. "I'm going to go wash up some at the pond," I spoke to everyone, before taking off.

Bowser Junior

Once Roy left to wash, Peach turned to the me, Lemmy, and Morton. "You know, you three should wash up too. You're filthy!"

The three of us groaned. "Come on Mama Peach!" I whined.

Fawn chuckled. "Nah, she's right. You are all pretty filthy...but since you all already started eating, you might as well finish."

I quickly cheered, as did the other two. I could hear Mama Peach talking back quietly, but I think she gave up.

We all continued to eat for a while, and we all talked. I was happy when I saw Papa and Fawn were getting along better. "Hey Fawn?" I asked her, just seeing something.

"What is it?"

"Why didn't you decide to eat any of the meat? You caught it! I mean, you needed my help, and I did a lot of the work, but still!"

"What? All you did was carry stuff! I was the one who made the traps and stuff!" Morton said loudly.

Papa laughed. "I'm sure you all did great. You're my kids after all..." He turned to Fawn. "But yeah, why aren't you eating any?"

She shrugged and smiled. "Well...I wanted there to be enough for you all."

"That was...nice of you," Bowser said.

She shook her head. "Oh, whatever! Peach's sandwiches are delicious! And besides, I didn't think I'd find more blackberries besides the ones for you guys, but I found some on the way home!" She smiled as she held out her berries.

"Um...aren't you eating blueberries or something?" Larry asked.

Fawn tilted her head. "Hm...why do you say that?"

"Because those look more indigo to me."

She looked down at them and blinked. "Oh...I suppose you're right. I guess I wasn't paying attention when I picked these ones..."

There was a pause. She suddenly stood and said, "Excuse me." She walked away from the sight toward the trees.

"Huh? Where do you think she's going?" I asked curiously.

"If she's am-be-veil-ent of the berry, it could be knock-you-us," Ludwig said...I think. I wasn't really getting what he was saying. "So she must ex-sponge it from her body."

I blinked. "What the crud does that mean!?"

I turned my head to see Fawn stick a finger down her throat, and she puked in the forest.

"It means that," Ludwig said, looking grossed out.

"Ewwwww!" Wendy shrieked annoyingly. "Like, totally gross! OMS, like, WTF Fawn!?"

"Pfft! Serves you right!" Larry said, bursting in to laughter. "Ah, that's priceless!" I resisted the urge to laugh too, because it was funny, but it's also Fawn, so it's not funny.

Bowser, Peach, Lemmy, and Morton ran to help her. I did too, except they run faster so I got there a little later.

I think Fawn was finished puking, so Peach rubbed her back. Papa looked like he didn't know what to do, so he held her hair back. Lemmy brought her some water. She smiled and said, "Thank you, Lemmy." She took the water and fountain drank some before giving it back.

"You okay Fawn? Don't worry, I've read a ton of medical books! First, you clean up your mouth. Then you get some Aspirin or Tums! Oh wait, they don't have medicine in a forest. In that case, you-"

"You know, I think the best thing would be to wash up some," Fawn said, stopping Morton.

"You sure that's all you want?" Peach said nicely.

"Yes, this happened to me a lot back home," Fawn said, laughing weakly. "I'll just wash, it's fine."

"Isn't Roy still bathing?" Papa asked.

Fawn shrugged. "I'm sure he's done by now, it's been a while. If anything, I'll just wait for him to finish."

I could tell Papa didn't really like that answer. "Won't you see him?"

Fawn blushed. "I'll avoid it somehow. Well, I'm off!"

With that, Fawn weakly walked off to the pond. We all stood in silence before I said, "Well, she said she'll be alright. Come on, I was almost done with my food!"

"You know, I already finished my food," Papa said, looking out at the trees. "You guys finish up, I'm going to go for a walk."

"Oh, you sure about that?" Peach asked.

"Yeah, I could use some Bowser time!" Bowser said, laughing.

"That's his special way of saying master-bay-ting in the woods," Larry muttered, giggling to himself. That's weird. Usually I understand Larry, but what's master-bay-ting?

Whatever it was, Papa didn't like it. His eyes flared and he picked up a rock, hurling it at Larry.

"Ow!" he whined, still laughing. "What? When I've got a good joke, it sort of slips out!"

"Why must you waste your intelligence on such buff-oon-ery?" Ludwig commented.

"Why do you have to waste yours on stupid words?"

"Ugh, can you both stop being, like , stupid, for one sec!?"

"That's it!" Papa bellowed, shutting them up. "Larry, I'm kicking your ass when I get back from this walk.

"Daddy no! You know I love you, I didn't mean to speak out of turn!" Larry said nicely, puffing out his lip.

Papa rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah..."

Peach looked like she had something to say to him, but I had something to ask. "Mama, what's master-bay-ting?"

She suddenly looked uncomfortable. "Um..."

Iggy mumbled, "Its akin to asexual re-pro-duck-shin..."

Larry laughed, and spoke in a weird, poetic voice. "Or what a man does, in this case Papa, when his Peach is away."

Bowser

I huffed at my idiot son's teasing as I stomped through the dark woods, the sun now gone. The nerve of that kid! It's not like I turn in to some mess whenever she's gone! I'd never resort to masturbating in the woods every time Peach leaves! I held an angry face as I walked, until I finally sighed as I suddenly began to feel very pathetic. Not in the woods, at least. I mean, at least back at the castle I can-

My thoughts were interrupted when I ran in to a tree. I growled as I rubbed my snout, cursing the forest's darkness. I began to search for any light I could find, and thankfully I found one. A shimmering light in the distance. I wasn't sure what it was, but I shrugged as I walked toward it. I continued to walk toward it, my feet making little noise on the soil, when I heard a noise. The splashing of water. Not processing it, I continued until a large bush obstructed me. I was going to figure out a way pass it when I looked up. I realized I was at the pond.

It was actually a gently flowing river, and this was just a large, pond like section of it. The moon and stars shined down on it, giving the water a glimmering, white shimmer. The smell of freshwater and the forest was very pleasing to the ear. I snapped out of my observations when I heard the splashing noise again. A girl emerged from the water, taking a deep breath of air. I realized with a shock that it was Fawn.

When I had seen her come from the trees, dirty, with her dress torn, there was something...attractive about her. She looked so wild, it was beautiful...she looked at home. More alive then I'd ever seen her. Plus her dress was all torn up, so that was a bonus. But if I thought she was hot then, I was floored now.

She was wearing her panties and bra still, since she probably forgot to take them off. But her skin was glistening with the water, her hair dripping and falling down her back. I could see her curves very well now, and I could tell my friend was a damn woman. My temperature rose, and I didn't even consider that I was peeping. Larry's teasing seemed really ironic right now. But the scene grew amazing at the next moment.

She turned her head as a bush near the river rustled. Out walked a fawn...a baby deer. It was a light brown, with piercing black eyes, and black specks on it's back. They eyed each other, neither saying anything. They looked the same...complacent, reflective, respective. Fawn's eyes were half closed, her mouth slightly parted. The deer continued to observe her before, ever so slowly, it started to approach her. Once it reached her, Fawn slowly rose her hand. Slowly and carefully, she placed it on the deer's forehead. She slowly began to pet it, as it bowed it's head. I opened my mouth in awe at the scene. It was...I guess I didn't know how to describe it. It was amazing. Fawn truly was at home, and these were her siblings. I continued to observe her, not even realizing I was peeping behind a bush, until the scene was broken by a slight rustle beside me.

"Who's there?" I whispered, turning my head.

"Pops?"

I squinted my eyes as I realized Roy was crouching beside me, also seemingly watching Fawn. "Son, what're you doing here?"

He got nervous."I was on my way back from my bath, and den...I tripped."

I narrowed my eyes and growled. "Bullcrap...you were peeping!"

I actually think he blushed. "No I ain't!" What's with him? Usually he didn't care about violating girls' privacy.

But I didn't think on it. The idea that he was peeping on Fawn pissed me off. Maybe it's because he's my son, or because Fawn's my friend. "Yes you are! You should be ashamed!"

His lip curled. "Well what're you doin?"

"...I tripped."

"Yeah right."

I hope I wasn't blushing. "Shut up! Go back to the camp!"

"You go back!"

"Teenage boy's shouldn't see this!" I knew he'd already seen it, and I hadn't cared much until now.

"At least she's closa to my age, ya perv!" Ouch.

"Why you-"

"Shuddup!" he shushed, pointing to the deer. It was looking in our direction noticing a disturbance. Fawn wasn't; she was in a trance.

"Crap! We've been caught!" I whispered.

"So ya were peeping."

"You were too!"

"Shuddup!"

I shook my head. "We've got bigger problems! We've been caught!"

He face palmed. "Iz a deer."

"It'll alert Fawn! And besides, can't they look in to your soul or something? Are we going to get sent to hell?" I muttered, remembering some stories.

He sighed. "Den leave."

"You leave!"

"Fine! We'll both leave!"

I considered my options before nodding. "Alright. But you're getting punished when we get back!"

"Yeah, yeah...now lez do dis quiet."

"Right...on three, start walking away quietly."

He nodded. "One..." I began to creep away, as did Roy. "Two-" As I took another step, the most stupid thing happened. I slipped on some mud, and tumbled down toward the pond.

"Ow..." I muttered, finally landing on my back. I tried to get up, but it was too hard to; I was stuck on my shell. I locked up with humiliation and fear as I looked up toward the pond. I was rather close to it now, and I saw Fawn and the deer both staring at me, like deer's caught in the headlights. I looked back to the hiding spot to see Roy had scampered off. I looked back to the two again, now in a cold sweat.

"Uh...hey."

The deer ran off and Fawn screamed as she dove her body in to the water to hide herself. "Bowser! What're you doing!?"

My mind worked fast. "Uh...uh...is it midnight?"

"Um...y-yes?"

"Uh...surprise! Happy Birthday!"
