Chapter Twenty Four: God versus Hero.
Nagato smirked as he aimed his palm at Naruto, who began sprinting at Nagato in rage, "Come to me, Nine Tails." Nagato whispered in anticipation.
As Naruto crossed halfway between the two of them, he saw Nagato's outstretched arm transform into a kunai projectile that began shooting forward the sharp ninja tools. Naruto was intent on getting to Nagato, so he retaliated by simply aiming his own palm towards the approaching storm, "DECAPITATING AIRWAVES!"
All of the kunai were shot back towards Nagato with extra speed, but the Rinnegan user merely raised his other arm as the storm approached him, "SHINRA TENSEI!"
Seeing the kunai being blasted back at him, Naruto let his bones form the protection under his skin as he focussed his attention through the gap in the kunai, aiming his pointer finger at Nagato through it, "BONE BULLET!"
Nagato's gun arm became a metallic shield that the bones bounced off of, but in the second that Nagato could not see Naruto, the blond had slammed his hand on the ground, channelling the necessary wood chakra, "WOOD STYLE: WOOD PRISON!" he yelled.
Nagato's eyes widened as he looked around the wood down that surrounded him, 'Amazing, so this is wood style Ninjutsu.' Nagato thought with an appreciative smile before hearing a thump on the wood above him.
"WOOD STYLE: WOOD SPEARS!"
Nagato's eyes hardened as the wood dome began stabbing at him, he lifted his arm quickly, "SHINRA TENSEI!"
Naruto was thrown away along with his wood dome, he fell through the air as he flipped, refocussing his attention on Nagato who had just placed his hand on the ground.
"SUMONING JUTSU!" Nagato yelled.
In retaliation, Naruto's foot funnels kicked into gear, letting him fly up over the large bird that had just flown at him as an attack.
Naruto swiftly moved his hand past his sheathe, filling it with a handful of his tri-pronged kunai that he threw high into the air in a circle around him, "KUNAI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Naruto yelled, changing the four kunai into forty.
He completed his spin in midair before he was suddenly yanked downward, away from the bird and back at Nagato, "BANSHO TENNIN!"
Naruto span with the momentum, bringing up his hand and forming a green rasengan in it that he thrust at Nagato the moment he was close enough, but to his shock, Nagato just caught the rasengan and absorbed the chakra from it.
But like any competent ninja, Naruto had a backup plan. As he felt his rasengan disappear, Naruto had placed his feet on Nagato's torso, "AIR STOMP!"
Nagato's eyes widened before he was suddenly blasted back, bouncing painfully across the ground before he stopped by slamming into a large piece of rock, 'My summons!' Nagato called through his mind.
Naruto landed lightly on his feet before hearing a loud flapping. The blond turned and smirked as he saw the deranged bird nearing him, its beak glinting in the sunlight as it approached.
Using the natural acrobatics given to him from Hiruzen's Sarutobi clan, Naruto flipped up through the air as the bird past below him. He brought his fist around with the flip, punching the bird at the top of its spine and killing it.
Nagato scowled as his favourite flying summons was destroyed. But his arm had continued transforming into a thick and sharp metallic whip as he charged forward towards Naruto as he fell to the ground safely.
Naruto and Nagato locked eyes once more as they charged at each other, weapon against weapon, Rinnegan against chakra powerhouse.
Nagato moved his whip to wrap around Naruto's sword, but Naruto flexed his chakra through Samehada Bocho, causing the sword to stretch wider and longer, knocking Nagato back but giving him a wide opening in Naruto's guard.
Nagato slammed his hand on Naruto's chest, "Absorb!" he yelled, absorbing some of Kurama's chakra directly from the seal for him to use against Naruto.
Naruto smirked as Samehada bent around, biting painfully into Nagato's shoulder and stealing the chakra right back.
In the second it took for Nagato to understand why he couldn't feel any chakra growth in his system, Naruto had struck with his other fist, "UNIVERSE!" Naruto yelled.
Nagato's whip bent to block the fist, but Naruto was so strong that he punched the whip straight into Nagato's chest and knocking him away.
Nagato flipped around as he rocketed through the air, aiming his palm at Naruto's now glowing sword while his other aim changed from a whip into the same chakra cannon as earlier, "BANSHO TENNIN!"
Naruto pulled his glowing sword into its two components before he fell off balance as Samehada was ripped from his grasp and thrown through the air past Nagato and off into the distance, causing the blonde to scowl as he lost one of his favourite weapons, 'Okay then, back to basics.' He thought as sheathed Kubikiri and he pulled out a tri-pronged kunai in one hand and one of his battle shuriken in the other, 'With a little something new!' he thought as he threw his shuriken forward and then threw his kunai high.
As the single shuriken passed halfway, Naruto finished the few hand seals necessary, "NINJA TOOLS SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Naruto shouted before holding his hands above his head.
Nagato smirked as the chakra he used to heal himself changed back to normal, he lifted his hand as the forty shuriken flew towards him, "SHINRA TENSEI!"
With every shuriken deflected, Nagato frowned as he noticed a shadow approaching him, he looked up and his smirk fell as he saw over one hundred kunai falling towards him, "Oh." He mumbled before his chakra cannon seemed to grow.
A second had passed and the kunai began to pick up speed as Nagato's chakra gathered, "ASURA: DISTANCE!"
***BOOOOOOOOM***
The chakra shot impacted a single kunai and exploded, dispelling the shadow copy kunai and throwing the original far out of the way. Nagato focussed his Rinnegan to look through the dust cloud when he spotted something that caused him to scowl again.
"WIND STYLE: AIR MISSILE!" Naruto screamed, shooting off the attack that managed to scare Jiraiya back when they had their first spar.
Nagato merely raised his normal hand and caught the missile, sucking the chakra away as he looked through the blurring air, 'And here he comes again.' Nagato thought with another sigh as Naruto was running at him.
Naruto kept his eyes focussed as he sent chakra into the ground around him, finding tree roots and other plant roots to use as he formed two hand seals, "WOOD CLONE JUTSU!"
Three wood clones sprung out of the ground and one leapt into the air as all of then launched an attack.
"RASENOVA!" the one on the left yelled as he shot forward the flaming attack.
"RASEN-BULLET BARRAGE!" the one on the right said as he made small Rasengans on each of his fingers and thumbs before using his bone bullet as the chakra anchor to launch them through the air at high speeds in the shape of an infinity symbol.
The Naruto in the air finished his hand seals, "LIGHTNING STYLE: BLACK PANTHER!" he yelled before shooting off black chakra that formed a black panther.
Nagato scowled as the Rasenova exploded upon contact with the wind missile, pushing him back as his other hand became normal once more while at the same time a large black panther lead by little rasengan pellets approached from the explosion.
Nagato's Rinnegan glowed as he ducked and dodged under the pellets, jumping up over the last one just as the panther was about to bite at him, "SHINRA TENSEI!"
The shockwave dissipated the black lightning just before it could impact Nagato, but as the Rinnegan wielding ninja looked up, his eyes widened as he spotted a figure moving at him from behind the dispersing lightning.
Kubikiri Bocho gleamed in the light as Naruto swung the legendary blade down at Nagato, who raised his own arm as it transformed.
*CLANG*
Nagato's chakra cannon knocked Kubikiri aside as the redhead pushed sideways, knocking Naruto off of his center of gravity as the cannon was aimed at the blonde's back.
"DISTANCE!"
Naruto's other hand swung around, catching Samehada as a clone threw it to him for him to absorb the attack before Naruto continued his spin and leaping, sending chakra into Kubikiri as he aimed at the retreating Nagato, "WATER SHARK BOMB JUTSU!"
Nagato lifted his other arm and much like Naruto had done before, absorbed the jutsu with a spin as he and Naruto came to a stop of their spinning momentum.
Nagato aimed his hand at Naruto as his cannon turned into a saw, "BANSHO TENNIN!" he shouted as he yanked Naruto towards him.
Naruto slammed his swords into each other and with a bright glow they became one once more as he moved through the air, Naruto managed to lift his sword in time to clash with Nagato's chakra chainsaw just as Nagato's outstretched arm twitched.
A chakra pole came free from Nagato's sleeve which he stabbed at Naruto at the same second that Naruto clashed with his saw. Aiming to stab Naruto in the shoulder, Nagato smirked, 'Got you!' he thought a moment too soon.
Since Naruto was still in the air, he had already aimed his feet at Nagato's chest, "AIR STOMP!"
*BOOM*
Nagato was thrown back at high speed, but before he could receive any landing damage he stabbed his chakra pole into the ground next to him, using the momentum to swing around and launch himself at Naruto, aiming a hand at him, "SUMMONING JUTSU!" Nagato yelled.
Naruto covered his face as smoke enveloped the area but his danger senses screamed so he looked up, seeing something massive in the cloud about to stomp on him.
*FLASH*
Landing next to his kunai and putting it away, Naruto looked over the long distance as he focussed on what was slowly being revealed, causing Naruto's eyes to widen at the massive beast, "So this is what Sasuke meant, an elemental dragon!" Naruto exclaimed before sheathing his blade and beginning to form hand seals.
The Fire Elemental Dragon turned its massive head to face Naruto as its chest began to glow red, "DRAGONIC FIREBALL!" Nagato yelled from atop the beast's head as a massive fireball shot at Naruto.
Naruto's shoes began to glow red for a moment before red flames shot out of his foot holes, shooting him high into the sky as Naruto held his hands by his side while he activated the jutsu he had prepared, "WATER STYLE: WATER WALL!"
The mouths on his hands opened as the both spat out heavy amounts of water below him. All of which was instantly evaporated by the massive fireball that continued to burn its way across the ground until it hit the Hokage mansion, exploding and destroying what was left of the upper district in a bright flash.
Nagato had to look away since his eyes were so sensitive, which let him spot Naruto, who was floating in midair as he finished hand seals, "WATER STYLE: CONDENSATION!" he yelled as clouds began to gather at the same moment Nagato's dragon had launched a stream of flames up at him.
Naruto cut the chakra to his funnels and began falling, barely moving underneath the flame stream in time to dodge safely as he sent chakra to his fingertips, "WIND STYLE: BONE BULLET!" Naruto shouted.
Nagato's eyes narrowed before he suddenly dropped to his hands and knees, barely dodging most the nearly unseen projectiles as the others clanged off of the dragon's scales. All except for one.
Nagato hissed in pain as he held a hand to the side of his head, feeling the blood that the wind chakra around the bullet had revealed, causing Nagato to scowl and glare up at Naruto.
Naruto smirked at the small victory until the injury began to glow with chakra, causing Naruto's smirk to fall as the wound was suddenly gone. The dragon began to spit more fire, forcing Naruto to fly sideways to avoid the unstoppable blaze.
Naruto's scowl was harsh until his mind raced with what Jiraiya and Sasuke had learned about the enemy, 'Is that how he was able to bring those other 'paths' back to life and use them for himself even when they had been destroyed?' Naruto thought before his eyes widened at the implication of Nagato's power, 'Does that mean he can bring them all back if he wanted?' Naruto thought as he looked around the remains of the village.
Seeing all of the death and destruction had solidified Naruto's resolve, 'I have to know, can he bring them all back?' Naruto thought before changing course in his flight, bringing out two kunai as he flew underneath the blaze.
Nagato smirked as he followed Naruto's chakra signature with his eyes, 'Hiding won't work, I can still see you!' Nagato thought as his chakra cannon formed, aiming it through the flames at Naruto.
Naruto was sweating as he threw his kunai into strategic points, but he looked up with wide eyes as the flames suddenly stopped soaring overhead.
Time seemed to slow down as Naruto brought his hands up to guard his face as Nagato's chakra pellet neared him, 'My new Explosive wave may work, but the impact from the explosion will move my kunai, so how can I….oh my kunai.' Naruto realised just in time.
*FLASH*
**BOOOOOOM**
Even the dragon was pushed back from the explosion, but Naruto appeared hidden behind the dragon, causing Nagato to scowl as the blonde's chakra signature was not in his range of vision.
Naruto quickly jumped up into the air as he formed hand seals, using the water from the huge amounts of clouds caused by Naruto's earlier technique as well as the heat from the dragon's flames, 'Time to put out those flames!' Naruto thought as he finished his hand seals at the exact moment Nagato had spotted him moving up into the clouds.
Nagato aimed his dragon's head, "BLAST BURN!" Nagato announced as the dragon sent forth a continuous stream of attacks that were glowing with power.
Naruto's voice echoed through the clouds as each cloud was suddenly filled to the brim with water chakra, "WATER STYLE: SUPER WATER SHARK BOMB JUTSU!" Naruto yelled in a slightly feral voice.
The clouds formed the Massive Water Shark that began to fall down at the dragon, absorbing the massive amounts of chakra from each fireball and growing much larger and larger until it was nearly four times the size of the dragon beneath it.
Knowing what each of his subordinates were capable of doing, Nagato recognised Kisame's attack and as such aimed his hand towards the Hokage Mountain, "BANSHO TENNIN!"
Nagato was yanked through the air, causing his dragon to turn with wide eyes as its master abandoned it. But before it had long to think about it, the dragon looked up as it was devoured by the massive water shark, taking all of the chakra from its summoning and sending it home.
The water shark impacted the ground as Nagato cleared the area safely, turning as he landed to see the lake that was now Konoha. Nagato's Rinnegan pulsed as he searched for Naruto's chakra signature.
Nagato's eyes snapped upwards as he saw Naruto high in the sky, holding his hands up as he channelled large amounts of chakra, 'What is he doing?' Nagato thought as he tried to focus on what element the chakra was.

White Zetsu opened his eyes, "It would seem that the back-up may be necessary. Even if only for a distraction." He reported.
Tobi's Sharingan hardened as he glanced at Orochimaru, "Fine then. Do what you must Orochimaru, though I do not like the risk that this brings." He said before refocussing his chakra into the jutsu.
Orochimaru smirked before glancing over his shoulder, nodding to Kabuto who began unravelling the scroll necessary for what Orochimaru had taught him earlier.
"FORBIDDEN JUTSU: SUMMONING: REANIMATION!"

Hanzo ducked under Pikkon's slash before doing something that he had not done for the whole fight, use a proper jutsu, "NINJA ART: TOXIC FOG!" he announced before exhaling a purply-black mist through his mask.
The mist enshrouded Pikkon and forced the other ninjas to jump a few meters back, but his plan was far from over as he threw his attack into the shroud, "EXPLOSIVE CIRCLE!"
**BOOOOOM**
The explosion spread the suddenly expanding fog for a long distance, instantly poisoning many Konoha ninjas and clearing the area as Hanzo stood tall, watching the people fall dead around him, 'Konoha ninjas…you used to be so strong.' He thought.
He took a step towards the burnt and poisoned corpse of Pikkon before his body suddenly seized up. He knelt and placed his hand on the ground as Kabuto worked through him.
"FORBIDDEN JUTSU: SUMMONING: REANIMATION!"
Eight Coffins began to rise up out of the ground around him, instantly dropping open to reveal a group of ninjas.
Tobirama Senju, Itachi Uchiha, Hizashi Hyuuga, Raiga Kurosaki, Ameyuri Ringo, Fuguki Suikazan, Jinin Akebino and Mangetsu Hozuki stood in a wide circle, the swordsmen pulling out the swords that were available and the others getting ready to fight.
Tobirama looked up as he felt ridiculous amounts of water chakra being gathered up in the air above the village, 'The same chakra as last time…Uzumaki.' He thought with an inward smile before he was forced to fight alongside the others.

Naruto began to dive at the ground at high speeds, flipping around just before impact, 'I will catch him!' Naruto thought as he slammed his hands down onto the water.
"SECRET ICE STYLE: LAND OF SNOW!" Naruto yelled.
From his impact point, the water turned to snow and ice, cracking along with its growth across the entire village and turning the battlefield into Naruto's domain.
Especially after his second technique; "SECRET WOOD STYLE: DEEP FOREST EMERGENCE!"
Nagato's eyes widened as the frozen lake cracked from underneath and up came massive trees, turning the village into a frosty forest as the remaining buildings and the ruins were lifted into the air.
Nagato sighed, 'I have to be serious, he has some terrifying power.' Nagato thought as his Rinnegan pulsed and he lifted into the air, "No more games." He promised himself as he began to fly up into the air over the forest.
"BLACK DRAGON BLIZZARD!"
Nagato turned to look behind him as a black dragon shot at him from the forest, he used his gravity manipulation to drop under the dragon, just as he heard another attack from the forest.
"LIGHTNING STYLE: BLACK PANTHER!"
Nagato thrust his arm out at the dragon, "BANSHO TENNIN!" he yelled as he pulled.
The dragon came down over Nagato and slammed into the panther, destroying the two animals in an explosion that pushed Nagato down into the foliage.
Nagato landed on a tree before glancing around, frowning as he realised he was in Naruto's trap, 'His chakra is surging through the trees themselves. He could've tried to kill me already, so what is he-'
Nagato's trail of thought was cut off as the tree he stood on began to bend it's branches and entangle him, "SHINRA TENSEI!"
Nagato's vision was cleared as the tree was blown up as well as a small clearing that Nagato landed in, ankle deep in snow, he looked around for Naruto.
"ICE STYLE: SNOWMAN FIST!"
Nagato turned to Naruto's voice, expecting the jutsu to be coming at him from the blonde, but to his surprise, a large fist of snow came from his side and punched him up into the air towards Naruto.
Nagato opened his eyes to see a mouth on a palm, "DESTRUCTIVE WAVE!"
***BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM***
Naruto was breathing heavily as he sent healing chakra to his hand, healing the recently burnt tongue as he looked through the swathe of destruction, seeing that his target was not there.
"You have forced my hand Nine Tails."
Naruto turned and glared up at Nagato, who was standing next to Animal Path as she knelt once more, "SUMMONING JUTSU!"
*POOF*POOF*POOF*POOF*
Nagato frowned as he closed one eye, 'It seems Yahiko is stronger than we thought, he really is coming back!' Nagato thought happily, even though he was frowning at the thought of losing his Deva path, 'I will show him our dream!' he thought as Asura took aim at Naruto.
"DISTANCE!"
Naruto leapt back as he used Juugo's abilities to form his own chakra cannon, "CHAKRA SHOT!" Naruto yelled.
**BOOOOOOOM**
Another clearing was formed amongst the trees as the clouds over head began to snow lightly, revealing Naruto standing across from the five paths of Pein and their leader, but Nagato's eyes narrowed as he saw that Naruto was crouching over a large scroll.
Naruto smirked, "You always try to overpower your opponents through outnumbering them, let's see how you like it! CHIKAMATSU'S TEN PUPPETS: RELEASE!"
*POOF*
Nagato scowled as he watched ten puppets come free, but before he could take action, Naruto had formed new hand seals that Nagato was highly unfamiliar with, because Naruto created the jutsu himself.
"WHITE SECRET TECHNIQUE: PUPPET SOUL COLLECTION!" Naruto yelled as the chakra strings coming from his heart began to glow green.
With a bright green flash, Nagato was partially blinded for a moment, but when he finally looked up, his eyes widened like saucers, "Impossible!" Nagato exclaimed as he looked upon the 'puppets'.
The puppets looked down at their hands as their features became visible through the smoke of Naruto's jutsu.
Hashirama looked over at Naruto, "How did you do this?" he asked with wide eyes.
The Third Raikage chuckled, "Hmhmhm, who cares how he did it? I've got a body again, even if it's only temporary." He said with a large grin.
Kisame glanced to either of his sides, "Eh? He got you two too?" he asked Sasori and Deidara.
Sasori nodded with a small smile, "He's a smart kid."
Deidara scoffed, "If he didn't embellish in the same art I do then I would take him out myself!" he said as he tightened his belt.
Zabuza tore his gaze from glaring at the back of Kisame's head when he felt a hand on his shoulder, "Zabuza Momochi, I thank you for looking after my grandson in his youth." Hiruzen said with a soft smile up towards the swordsman.
Zabuza merely nodded, "…Yeah, sure." He muttered before glancing to his side, "Who're you?" he asked.
Dotou glared across the clearing at the Peins facing them, "I am simply a tool of Naruto Uzumaki. Just as we all are." He said with a scowl.
Juugo looked up with a smile at his master, even though he was unsure about the man's youth, "Orochimaru-sama." Juugo whispered.
Hiruzen's eyes snapped towards the pale ex-Konoha ninja, who was still standing in a fresh Jonin outfit as he raised a brow at Juugo, "I am not your boss Juugo, as you can clearly see." Orochimaru said with a nod towards the person at the back of the group.
The green chakra strings that connected from Naruto's heart to each puppet grew bright fluorescent before becoming invisible and disappearing as each of the summoned ninja souls took over a puppet while Naruto threw his weapons wide.
Each ninja leapt into position as Zabuza grasped his blade once more, Kisame mirroring his movements as he caught Samehada.
Sasori attached chakra strings from his fingers to the puppets thrown towards him, smirking as he recognised them, "Mother and Father." He whispered as the now metallic puppets settled next to Deidara.
Said clay ninja raised a brow as he felt something at the bottom of his clay pouches, he looked down to see a storage seal and nearly slapped himself, "Why the hell didn't I do that before?!" he yelled to himself.
*POOF*
Hiruzen summoned his staff as he landed on Naruto's left and Hashirama landed on his right, "Where do you want us Naruto?" Hashirama asked with a kind smile as Naruto passed him two of the massive battle shuriken.
Naruto grinned darkly as he glanced at the enemy, who had just moved into defensive positions, "Zabuza and Kisame take Naraka, Orochimaru and Sasori take Asura, Deidara and Dotou take Human, Juugo and Hashirama take Animal, Hiruzen and the Third Raikage take Preta," Naruto ordered, causing the ninjas to line up in order as Naruto pointed at Nagato and the Peins, "I'll take down Nagato, go get em." Naruto said with a laugh as his weapons shot forward.

"SUMMONING JUTSU!"
The moment Animal Path's gargantuan cockroach appeared, Hashirama had bent the trees to wrap the bug up in midair as Juugo's chakra cannon formed around his hand, "DIIIIIEEEEHAHAHA!" Juugo screamed as he blasted the roach's head off.
*POOF*POOF*
The two ninjas turned as a phoenix began spitting flames at them while a large mole dug it's way underground, Juugo leapt back and placed a hand on the First Hokage's shoulder as the man entered sage mode with the given nature chakra, "SECRET WOOD STYLE: TREES OF CLOUDS!" he yelled.
Huge trees began shooting out of the ground, spreading everyone's battles wide as a tree grew up from underneath the mole, throwing it into the phoenix before a growing tree wrapped around them and kept going high into the sky.
Animal scowled as her weapons were taken from her, she looked forward before diving sideways, barely dodging the massive battle shuriken before another appeared in it's shadow, cutting off her arm from the elbow down.
She stumbled as root wrapped around her feet, she knelt down and placed her good hand on the floor as fast as she could, "SUMMONING JUTSU!"
The curled up armadillo appeared just in time for Juugo's axe to be stopped against its shell, but as he fell to the ground, a piston appeared on the back of Juugo's leg, "PISTON KICK!"
The armadillo rolled away with the impact, showing a wide eyed Animal Path being lifted up the inside of a growing tree, she struggled for a few moments and just as she ripped an arm free, Juugo's arm extended and punched her in the stomach, knocking her through the tree and towards Hashirama, "Time to end this, TRUE WOOD STYLE: CONVERSION OF MOTHER NATURE!" Hashirama shouted as he leapt up at Animal.
Animal opened her eyes just in time to raise her arms in a block, but as Hashirama passed, he merely tapped her arms before the two of them landed opposite each other.
Animal turned and knelt to place her hands on the ground, only for her eyes to widen as she watched her arms and legs slowly turning into wood, "What?!" she exclaimed before looking up at Hashirama and Juugo, who both were walking over to her.
Juugo chuckled, "Too easy." He said as he took in nature chakra for Hashirama and placed an arm on the man's shoulder.
Sage mode markings appeared on Hashirama's face once more as he lifted his arm to Animal's face, "Good bye." Hashirama said before tapping Animal's forehead.
The two kept walking as wood seemed to creep out from where Hashirama poked her and in seconds she was nothing but a mere wooden statue.
Hashirama nodded to Juugo whose appearance became calm once more, "You were a strong child. But our time is done." He said before the chakra strings became visible again.
Juugo smiled softly as he looked at the chakra strings, 'Then why aren't we gone yet?' he asked himself.

*CLANG*
"Ha! Weak!" Zabuza shouted with a hidden grin as Kubikiri slammed into a chakra pole.
Naraka's face stayed stuck in a permanent scowl as he moved as fast as he could, ducking under the slow swing of Kisame, "Hehe, and slow!" Kisame said before kicking Naraka in the face.
The Rinnegan wielder flew back over the crater and slammed into a tree as Zabuza and Kisame slammed their blades into the ground next to each other and began forming hand seals.
"WATER STYLE: GIANT VORTEX JUTSU!" Zabuza yelled, using the snow underneath Naraka to form the swirling whirlpool and lifting the entire tree up into the air.
"WATER STYLE: FIVE FEEDING SHARKS!" Kisame shouted as he took control of some more snow and had it leap up into the whirlpool.
Naraka finally got control of himself and opened his eyes as he was being pulled through the whirlpool, but even if he did have time to counterattack he in no way had the strength as his eyes spotted his demise.
Each shark chomped down on a different limb before exploding, leaving nothing but a torso to be thrown through the air toward the two swordsmen and coming to a stop against Samehada's blade.
Kisame and Zabuza lifted their swords once more as their chakra strings became visible, "Just like old times aye Zabu?" Kisame asked with a chuckle.
Zabuza mirrored the shark's chuckle, "Not exactly, can't you feel it Fishface?" Zabuza said with a glance to the village's wall.
Kisame's reply was nothing but another chuckle.

"KATSU!"
*BOOOOM*
Human leapt back away from the explosions as they followed him.
"BLACK DRAGON BLIZZARD!"
Human glanced sideways before leaping high, letting the dragon pass by him and take out a few bombs before he pulled out a chakra pole and threw it below him.
The hidden snake was stabbed through the head and exploded, clearing the area of snow as Human landed on the ice underneath.
Human suddenly frowned, 'The ice underneath? But this snowfield was made on earth…oh.' Human thought before glancing right as Dotou's muscles flexed.
"ICE STYLE: FROST CLONE!" Dotou yelled before pumping his chest at the Rinnegan user.
Human lifted his arms as an exact copy of Dotou seemed to run right through him, freezing all of the clothing on him and temporarily freezing him in place as Deidara threw a lump of clay forth.
"This is artistic!" Deidara yelled as he made an adult human sized hollow pyramid which landed over Human, "KATSU!"
**BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM**

"FIRE STYLE: DRAGON FLAME BOMB!"
Preta merely absorbed the attack as he ducked under the speedy Raikage's lunge, sucking the lightning armour off of him in the process before charging at Hiruzen once more.
The Third Hokage and the Third Raikage locked eyes over Preta's shoulder, "Tonkoyaki bridge! The Second War!" Hiruzen yelled, knowing first hand that the Raikage would figure out what he meant.
Raikage turned with a grin as he formed his own seals, "With a boost! LIGHTNING STYLE: BLACK NEEDLES!" he yelled before stomping through the snow.
Black lightning appeared shooting towards Preta's back in the form of small needles, just as Hiruzen finished his own seals, "WATER STYLE: REVERSE WATERFALL!" he yelled as he spat a few small globs of water towards Preta.
Preta leapt up as Hiruzen launched the attack, turning to absorb the lightning needles as he assumed the water balls would fly beneath him since that was how the attack was usually used, but his eyes widened as he realised that the lightning needles were on a direct path to clash with the water balls right under him.
Preta tried to roll sideways to absorb the impending attack. As the water balls hit the ground, a spout shot upwards from each one in the form of a small upside-down waterfall which the black lightning hit, supercharging the jutsu and electrifying it.
Preta's hands barely made it around in time to absorb the chakra in the attack, but he was still moved higher into the air, just as Hiruzen's staff extended, "ENMA: EXTEND!" he yelled as he swung downwards.
Preta lifted his arm up, absorbing the chakra from the summoning technique and instantly dispelling Enma, causing Sarutobi to frown as that was the last hit of his plan, but the frown disappeared as he saw through the clearing smoke.
As Enma dispelled, the smoke cloud covered Preta from view completely, which is right when the Raikage appeared behind Preta in a flash of lightning, "HELL STAB: FOUR FINGER NUKITE TECHNIQUE!" he yelled.
Preta barely had time to flinch before the Raikage tore through Preta's chest and ripped upwards, beheading the path and ending it.
The Raikage flashed next to Hiruzen, "I finally came up with a counter to your counter." The Raikage said, referring to Hiruzen's jutsu and attack combination to stop the black lightning needles.
Hiruzen nodded, "To appear and electrify me through Enma, that probably would have worked back in the day." he agreed as their chakra strings became visible once more and they turned towards a large explosion.

*CLANG CLANG*CLASH*
Sasori chuckled as he made his puppets dance around Asura, "And hit it." he mumbled before his puppets retreated.
Asura fell off balance from the clash against Mother's weapon suddenly disappearing when a snake tore up through the ground, taking a bite at Asura whose chainsaw cut a way free from the snake's bite.
Orochimaru scowled as his creature was cut up, but he had worked with Sasori for a few years and thus the red head knew what the snake sannin was capable off, "Ready the Rashomon trap!" Sasori yelled.
Orochimaru's eyes snapped to Sasori, not understanding how he knew of his ultimate trap technique but willing to work for victory. Orochimaru made a few hand seals as his legs became snake-like and he shot at Asura, "SUMMONING: RASHOMON CAGE!" Orochimaru yelled as Mother and Father dove towards Asura from above.
Asura landed just as Orochimaru called his jutsu. Asura looked around as four Rashomon gates appeared around him and one below him. He noticed two shadows on the floor and looked up, aiming his cannon at Father, "DISTANCE!"
Father dodged the attack and moved to one corner of the cage as Mother moved to the opposite end, slamming their hands on the ground as Sasori's eyes snapped open, "RED SECRET TECHNIQUE: RISING PUPPET SHOW!" he shouted.
Asura's arms turned into cannons as he aimed them at Mother and Father, but the two puppets had already been connected by multiple chakra strings surrounding Asura. As the mechanised man went to shoot, Sasori pulled the strings tight as his puppets moved up through the air, lifting Asura by the arms and spinning him at ridiculously high speeds while doing so.
Asura kept spinning as Orochimaru finished his hand seals, "NINJA ART: POISON FOG!" he shouted.
By the time Asura gained back control of it's body and began falling back into the cage, Orochimaru had finished another quick set of hand seals as Mother and Father's chest cavities opened and from both of them an explosive ball came forth, falling into the cage as Orochimaru put his hands on the cage's walls, "RASHOMON: SEAL!" he yelled.
Just as the explosive balls lit up the cloud of poisonous smoke, another Rashomon gate appeared, covering the opening on the top of the cage as the balls exploded.
The large cube rumbled for a moment before becoming still, each of the gates highly bent but not showing an opening anywhere.
Sasori landed next to Orochimaru and nodded, "Even this young you were still formidable." Sasori spoke.
Orochimaru smirked as their strings became visible, "Even in my older age I appear to be." Orochimaru said with a glance towards the gates.
Sasori raised a brow, "What do you mean?"

Nagato flexed as Naruto appeared next to the kunai behind him, "SHINRA TENSEI!"
*****BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*****
Nagato panted as he fell to his knees, looking around the recently created crater as his eyes widened, "Everyone of my paths…" he whispered as stood shakily.
Each of Naruto's Soul Puppets stood surrounding Nagato, waiting as a tri-pronged kunai stabbed into the ground at the tip of the crater.
*FLASH*
Naruto glared down at the beaten Nagato, "Surrender now or I will kill you!" Naruto promised as each of his puppets began forming hand seals.
Nagato closed his eyes before taking a few deep breaths and calming himself, feeling that he was extremely low on chakra before opening his eyes and looking up at Naruto, "I can't do that Nine Tails. It's either I capture you and save this world or die trying!" Nagato said before his arm transformed into a cannon that he aimed at Naruto, "DISTANCE!"
Naruto didn't even move as each of his puppets launched their techniques.
Juugo aimed his own cannon, "CHAKRA SHOT!" he yelled, causing his own attack to explode against Nagato's mere metres from hitting Naruto as every other technique shot at Nagato.
"KATSU!" Deidara yelled as he threw forwards a large bird.
"WATER DRAGON JUTSU!" Zabuza yelled.
"LIGHTNING STYLE: BLACK PANTHER!" the Raikage yelled.
"RED SECRET TECHNIQUE: FLAMETHROWER!" Sasori yelled as Mother and Father's chests came together, creating a funnel that shot forth a line of flames.
"EARTH STYLE: MUD BOMB JUTSU!" Hiruzen shouted.
"WATER SHARK BOMB JUTSU!" Kisame yelled.
"ICE STYLE: BLACK DRAGON BLIZZARD!" Dotou yelled.
"WOOD STYLE: FOREST CALL!" Hashirama shouted.
The attacks all converged down the crater as Nagato seemed to lift his arm above his head, "No choice then." He said before disappearing from view.
Naruto's eyes narrowed as none of the jutsu seemed to explode or do large amounts of impact before the dust cleared and he felt himself start to be pulled into the crater, "W-What?!" Naruto exclaimed.
"CHIBAKU TENSEI!"
Naruto watched as a small black ball rose up into the air, pulling each jutsu behind it as it went higher and higher.
Naruto scowled as he used his chakra to stick to the ground, although barely.
"Naruto!"
Naruto glanced up at Hashirama, "I can feel my brother's presence at the gate!" he shouted.
Naruto glanced at his version of Orochimaru who shouted over the noise of the area being ripped up, "The forbidden summoning jutsu!" the snake reported.
Naruto nodded before communicating to the Raikage through his chakra strings, causing the large man to suddenly disappear in a streak of lightning towards the village gate where Hanzo had been attacking, "Each of you! Kill every enemy you see until your independent chakra sources run out!" Naruto ordered before they were all forcefully lifted up towards the gravity construct.
The puppets nodded before Naruto closed his eyes and focussed his chakra inside the puppets to connect to the Hirashin seal that was carved into the Raikage puppet's back just like with every other puppet.
*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*FLASH*

The Raikage appeared in a flash of lightning, punching Mangetsu Hozuki back before the Hirashin seal carved into his back began to glow.

Hashirama appeared catching Tobirama's punch. The wood user looked at his brother with a stern look, "Well, it's not like we never sparred before." He said challengingly before kicking his little brother back.
*FLASH*
"WATER SHARK BOMB JUTSU!" Kisame launched as he arrived, taking out Itachi's fireball and making the Uchiha turn to face him, "Heh, always wanted to see who'd really win between us." he said as he hefted Samehada onto his back.
*FLASH*
Juugo appeared mid-swing with his axe as it clashed with Jinin Akebino's sword, "DIIIIEEEE!" Juugo yelled crazily as he attacked.
*FLASH*
Dotou laughed as his chakra armour absorbed Hizashi's attack as he continued forming hand seals, "ICE STYLE: SNOWBALL BLUDGEONING!" he shouted, using the frost nearby to summon solid ice spheres that began to batter Hizashi away.
*FLASH*
Zabuza's Kubikiri Bocho clashed with Ameyuri Ringo's blade, using his surprise attack as leverage he knocked her away before sending chakra into the seal on his blade, pushing her further back with the water before he charged her.
*FLASH*
Deidara appeared with his hands in his pouches, kicking Fuguki Suikazan back a foot before letting a small bug appear between them, "KATSU!"
*FLASH*
Sasori appeared but scowled as he did not have his puppets to fight, so as he threw a ring of kunai at Raiga's back to get his attention, he attached chakra strings to Pikkon's corpse, 'Hm, three swords? This'll be interesting.' He thought as he made the corpse charge at Raiga.
*FLASH*
Hanzo span quickly and lifted his blade as it clashed with Orochimaru's replacement Grass Cutter before both of their cheeks bulged, "NINJA ART: TOXIC FLOW!" Hanzo shouted as he spat forth a stream of toxic poison.
"FIRE STYLE: FLAME SERPANT!" Orochimaru shouted, his snake eating the poison as it appeared and growing larger before leaping at Hanzo.
Up on the village's wall, the remaining ninjas were gathered around Hanabi as she looked through the deadly cloud of Toxic mist, "I don't get it, it seems that puppets with their own chakra systems and everything suddenly appeared and are fighting those undead guys!" she reported.
"It must be Naruto."
The group turned as Danzo glanced back over the village wall, seeing the beginnings of what seemed to be an airborne hill, "His Soul Puppet Technique is complete, but this is our first field test."
A high ranking Jonin raised a brow in question, "Field test Danzo-sama?" he asked.
Danzo nodded before he spoke louder, "Naruto Uzumaki has given his special chakras to revive those who were the original users of those chakras, such as the First Hokage, the Third Raikage and even Orochimaru himself!" he declared to the ninjas.
All of the ninjas, no matter where they were ranked and no matter their power, turned to watch Naruto's Souls fight off the threat to their village with awestruck expressions covering their features.
"He's saving us all!" Moegi cheered excitedly as a golden light suddenly appeared from Naruto's battlefield.

Naruto opened his eyes to see he was about to become crushed against the humongous rock so he reached inside himself, 'Yo fox, you said if I ever needed help.' Naruto thought as he felt chakra burning through him.
"Go get him kid, teach him to mess with the tailed beasts."
Naruto's eyes slitted and suddenly he was buried in midair.
Nagato looked up at the calamity from his place on one knee, 'At least with this last attack, he'll be suffocated until he faints. Once that happens, I will end my technique and take him back to the sealing room.' He thought before smiling softly, 'It looks like we've succeeded Konan, Yahiko.' He thought as he looked up at the sky.
"MASSIVE DEMONIC RASENGAN!"
Nagato's eyes snapped back to the calamity as the whole sphere seemed to grow nearly ten meters wider before it began falling apart in midair, slowly but steadily showing a golden glowing Naruto floating the center of a huge bright golden rasengan.
Nagato stared with wide eyes as he stood shakily, "No…impossible." Nagato whispered.
Nagato's Rinnegan widened as the rasengan suddenly disappeared and Naruto's chakra signature sped over the two hundred or so meters in less than a second, landing a brutal punch to Nagato's face.
Nagato didn't even get time to react as he was slammed through a cluster of trees before hitting the outer wall of a destroyed building. When his body finally registered the pain from the punch, Naruto had already caught up, and this time, with something a little stronger.
"PLANTARY RASENGAN!" Naruto shouted, slamming the four rasengans into Nagato's chest and launching him through the entire building.

"Look there!"
The Konoha ninjas turned collectively to where Ino was pointing to see Nagato spiralling through the air, out of the massive snow covered forest and across the village to slam directly into the Hokage mountain next to Tsunade's head.
But their focus was on the man that was shining golden and flying after Nagato, the demon container, the hero, Naruto Uzumaki.

Nagato's vision blurred as he stay embedded in the stone mountain, using whatever will power he could to stay conscious, '….how?'
A golden figure moved into his line of sight and his vision cleared as he focussed on Naruto, glowing with perfectly synchronised control of Kurama's chakra as his chakra funnels kept him afloat in the air, "Nagato of the Akatsuki," Naruto started before he held his hands out to his side, "You have lost." Naruto said seriously.
Nagato weakly smirked, "W-well…damn.." he said quietly.
Naruto mirrored the smirk, "Now what Nagato, what was this all for? What was the point?" he asked emotionlessly.
Nagato closed his eyes as he thought of his teammate's dream, "Peace, with the p-power of each of the-"
*BAM*
Naruto pulled his fist away from Nagato's face, "PEACE?! You killed my friends and family! You took the living souls of defenceless creatures for your own selfish needs! How dare you talk about peace?!" Naruto yelled ferociously, for once accidently letting his rage take over before he closed his eyes to try and reign in his anger.
Nagato weakly turned back to face Naruto, "W-we tried, to teach p-peace, but only those w-who knew pain, understood us." he said weakly.
Naruto froze for a moment as he tried to understand, "So, how does the tailed beasts come into this exactly?" he asked.
Nagato glanced around the decimated village, "A w-weapon against the five great v-villages, to induce true p-pain and ffear." Nagato practically whispered before his head slumped.
Naruto grabbed Nagato's chin and lifted his face so that they had eye contact, "That's not peace. That's ruling with an iron fist. I'd rather death than a caged life." Naruto said with a heavy conviction.
Nagato watched the seriousness in Naruto's eyes for a moment before smirking, "W-what do you think, peace is?" he asked.
Naruto raised a brow before floating slightly away from Nagato, truly thinking about how he'd reply for a moment before he sighed, "Truthfully, I think absolute peace…is nearly unachievable." Naruto said.
Nagato looked at Naruto with wide eyes, "Th-then how can you doubt my dream? Y-you don't e-even have one." Nagato said, sounding angered but too weak to express it.
Naruto smirked, "I do have a dream and that is peace for my village." He said confidently, "The Leaf, the Sand, the Stone and now maybe even the Lightning village are all part of a peace treaty, these villages will no longer fight each other lethally, even for the sake of a mission. If we can get the Water village to join, the only potential violence would come from the minor villages." Naruto explained.
Nagato's eyes calmed as he closed them, "I s-see, so you're bas-sically four fifths of the way t-to finding, your peace." He said before his body seemed to tense.
Naruto was instantly on guard as Nagato continued speaking, "W-well, if my dream has fallen through…and your peace is almost at hand," Nagato said before placing his hands together and smiling at Naruto, "Then maybe, I could put my faith in you." Nagato whispered weakly.
Naruto raised a brow before smiling, "So, you'll stop this? Akatsuki is done now?" he asked hopefully.
Nagato shook his head, "Unfortunately, I-I'm not the true leader. I can't stop them." he said, causing Naruto's eyes to widen.
"Then who's the leader? And what are you going to do then?" Naruto asked.
Nagato opened his eyes, both of them looking peaceful as his hands began to glow, "His name, is Madara Uchiha. And I, will help your comrades to help you find your dream… of peace…" Nagato said before his chakra pulsed throughout the whole village, "Good bye Naruto, and good luck." He said with a smile to the slightly smirking blonde, "OUTER PATH: SAMSARA OF HEAVENLY LIFE JUTSU!" Nagato yelled as his remaining chakra flashed throughout the village.
Naruto watched as the king of hell appeared on top of the Hokage mountain and its mouth opened wide, "Nagato, what is-"
*FWOOM*
Naruto's sentence was cut off as hundreds of green lights began to soar across the leaf village from the King's mouth. Each of the souls returning to their bodies and healing them back to a healthy state in mere moments.
Naruto couldn't help but smile as he felt the chakra signatures of his family return to the land of the living, he looked down amongst the falling snow and the tall trees to see people instantly getting to work helping each other as they tried to figure out what was going on.
Naruto's smile stretched across as his face, "Amazing! You brought them all back! Nagato-" Naruto started as he turned back to Nagato only to stop himself as he saw the Rinnegan user's face.
Nagato stayed imbedded in the rock as he began shaking, his hair turned bleach white as the king of hell crumbled, "N-n-naa-ruto." He said weakly between breaths.
Naruto nodded as his Nine Tails Cloak slipped away, revealing his dirty clothes as he floated closer to stop right in front of Nagato, who was reaching forward a weak hand.
Nagato placed his hand on Naruto's shoulder as he smiled weakly at him, "L-live y-your d-d-dream…find…peace…" he whispered before he went completely limp, falling free from the mountainside and into Naruto's arms.
Naruto held Nagato to him quietly as he tried to understand everything that had just happened, it was nearly ten whole minutes later before he began to lower, 'Nagato…you fought for the same reason I fight.' Naruto thought softly as he moved through the treetops, landing on the largest one that sat where the Hokage tower used to be.
Naruto's eyes hardened as the clouds began to slowly disperse since he was no longer channelling ice chakra, "And I will make it a reality." He promised as he added another layer to his nindo.
'To protect the village, to make the village prosper and grow, to make the village if not the world, peaceful.'

"Naruto Uzumaki."
Naruto wasn't sure how long he'd been unconscious for, nor that he had passed out in the first place. But as he opened his eyes, he couldn't help the small smile that came across his features.
Naruto sat up from his placed lying down in front of Kurama's bars, turning to face those he had torn from his soul temporarily, "Looks like you all succeeded then." He said as he shakily stood.
Hiruzen helped him to his feet, "Only because you stuffed us full of so much chakra. Good work Naruto." He said.
Zabuza spoke next before the others could, "Fishface and I did a little something for ya before the puppet bodies were reverse summoned back to that scroll. We didn't have long but you should check the scroll, it's got two more of the legendary Seven Swords in there." he said.
Kisame nodded with a wide shark grin, "Yeah hehe, Kabutowari and Shibuki are sealed next to Samehada and Kubikiri Bocho."
Before anyone else could speak Hashirama had cleared his throat, "I do believe it's time for us to join back together again. I'm afraid your mind still isn't able to hold all of our souls in balance." Hashirama explained.
Naruto and Orochimaru shared a smirk, "Actually, that's not entirely true thanks to some experiments done by me." Orochimaru said with a snake like chuckle.
Naruto nodded, "I'll set it up later, but for now, sorry but you'll have to go back." He said as he held out his hand.
The other ninjas formed a circle, each of them placing their hands on top of the other so as to place all of their palms face down on top of Naruto's palm up hand.
*FLASH*
Naruto covered his eyes from the bright light with his free arm as the souls retreated into his subconsciousness. Naruto sighed before turning and looking up, "Well, at least you're still here Kurama." He said with a small smile.
The old fox chuckled, "Seems like you couldn't get rid of me even if you wanted to now that our chakras have bonded Naruto."
Naruto nodded before turning towards the hallway leaving the sewers of his mindscape, "In that case, let's see what we've missed on the outside." Naruto said before leaving the main room, exiting his mindscape and entering the conscious world.
