A/N: Here's Lagoona and Gil. I know it's short, but I really didn't have a set idea for the two of them.
Lagoona sat in her room, looking at the pictures of her and Gil. She really wanted to work things out with him, but his parents stood in the way at any possible happy relationship they could have. She put them away and fed Neptuna. She didn't want to leave Gil; she was happy when all this drama wasn't floating around. Lagoona sighed and laid on her bed, wondering if breaking it off with him was what she had to do or not.
Someone knocked on her door and the door opened to show her mother, Aqua.
"Are you alright?" Aqua asked her daughter.
"I'm just having boy trouble still, Mom."
"Are his parents still being rude to you about being a salt water?"
"Yes. I don't want to break it off with Gil, but I fear I might have to."
Aqua nodded and said, "Listen to your heart, Lagoona."
And with that, Aqua left.
"Way to leave me with a cryptic message, Mom."
Gil sat in the living room of his home, his parents scalding him yet again for talking to Lagoona.
"Her kind can't be trusted, son. She'll destroy you." Gil's father said.
"Plus her family. Who knows what they plan to do with you." Gil's mother added.
Gil took in a deep breath, finally sick and tired of them talking about Lagoona and her parents that way.
"You two don't know anything! Lagoona's parents are the nicest people I have ever met. Lagoona is the kindest and sweetest ghoul I know. And you know what else? I'm going to keep talking to her, because there's nothing you can do about it. You're racist and I can't stand that. You were perfectly fine with Lagoona when she turned into a freshwater. You are both hypocrites."
With that, Gil stormed out of the house, swimming away as fast as he could. He wanted to go to Lagoona's and tell her everything. Right now, she's the only thing that made sense to him. His parents were being ridiculous and maybe someday, they would realize that, but he seriously doubted that. Gil broke the surface and walked his way to Lagoona's, needing to be with her.
He knocked on the door and her mother, Aqua, answered the door.
"Hey, Gil. What brings you buy?"
"I need to talk to Lagoona. Is she home?"
"Yep. She's in her room."
Aqua let him in and he walked to Lagoona's room. Gil knocked on the door and Lagoona opened it.
"Gil! What are you doing here?"
"I need to tell you something, Lagoona."
Lagoona stepped to the side to let Gil in and Gil said, "I just got done arguing with my parents again about you. I came here right away. I needed to see you."
"Oh, Gil. I'm sorry you guys fight about me all the time."
"It's no big. They shouldn't judge you because you're a different type of water monster."
Gil took Lagoona's hand and added, "Plus, Lagoona, I love you and I fight to keep what I love."
Lagoona felt her cheeks redden and Gil kissed her.
"I won't stop fighting for you, Lagoona."
A/N: Okay, I hate that Mattel is constantly making this couple fight. I like them as a couple, but I needed some actual love between them and not tension. So excuse me for the absolutly girly moments. I had to for my own sanity XD
Anyway, did you guys like it? Let me know in the review box.
