AN: I still don't have a beta for this story; I apologize for the mistakes here.

Chapter Two: 18 years old.

Chris watched Wyatt carefully. The past three years had been like a living nightmare; his brother took the underworld, and he wanted to be the most powerful magical being, which is troublesome as most of the things he had destroyed so far wanted the same thing. And even when Chris felt guilty for allowing this, a small part of him was content because as evil as Wyatt was becoming, he also had turned into a caring brother.

Losing their mother changed something in Wyatt, and while before he acted like he didn't give a damn about Cris, know he defended him and kept him close and protected. He made sure Chris had good grades in magic school (or what was left of it), he trained him constantly, and he made clear to everyone that Chris was off –limits.

It was proof of how screwed up this situation was when Chris felt like this meant his brother loved him.

They were having dinner, a tradition Wyatt maintained after their mother passed away, when a demon appeared.

"What?" Wyatt snapped. Nobody was allowed to interrupt dinner time, as his own mother would have yelled at Leo for daring showing up at that sacred time.

"I apologize, my Lord, but there are urgent matters to attend at the council." The demon kept his gaze on the floor.

"Why do I bother in letting you live if you aren't useful?" Wyatt questioned, raising his hand. "Give me a good reason to let you interrupt your Lord."

Chris frowned. He hated when Wyatt called himself 'Lord',like it was a big honor.

"It's…" the demon then glanced at Chris.

"I see." Wyatt tilted his head, as if he was meditating the best course of action.

Chris felt a small tremor of fear; the demon looked at him, like he was the key in whatever problem they had. He thought about what he could have possibly done so his brother was pissed off. Nothing came to mind, if anything, for the past three years Chris had been like a well-behaved pet that wasn't allowed to interfere. He lost his mother; he didn't want to be abandoned by the only family member who cared about him.

"It can wait," Wyatt said, calmly. "Dinner with my brother is my favorite part of the day. Leave."

The demon made a small reverence and disappeared in a blur. Chris smiled, even when he knew this wasn't the healthiest sibling relationship, it was nice hearing Wyatt saying he enjoyed spending time with him.

"What was that about?" Chris asked. He knew he shouldn't, but still he wanted to know.

Wyatt often said he was as curious as their Mom, and that could get him killed.

"Nothing important. I'm having problems with a few witches," Wyatt said, bluntly.

Chris felt a pang of guilt. Wyatt had killed witches, that wasn't a surprise, but Chris felt like a traitor for siding with everything his mom and the Aunts fought so hard to prevent.
The end of the world came when the Charmed Ones died.

"Don't look so sad, brother." Wyatt took Chris' hand gently. "I can assure you that I won't kill them if they stop meddling in my business."

"They're witches, Wyatt. Our kind."

"Tell me Chris, if they were our kind, why they were never there when Mom and the Aunts fought the demons that were after the magical beings? They wanted the Charmed ones to do the dirty work, and now that I'm cleaning up, they dare acted offended? Brother, these are strictly politics. There are no sides anymore. If you're powerful, you can conquer everything. We are alive; we survive when most demons and even the supposedly good witches thought we would be killed because we lost our Mom. How can you defend them, when they don't give a damn about you?"

"And you do?" Chris asked with disbelief.

"I've always given a damn about you, Chris." Wyatt looked at him with a glare. "Maybe I didn't show it when Mom was alive, but you are my baby brother. I love you."
Chris was shocked. He didn't remember the last time Wyatt actually said those words to him, and he could see he really meant it.

In his own twisted way, he loved Chris.

"I love you too, even when I don't like what you are doing." Chris sighed.

Chris also loved Wyatt. He wondered how long was he going to stay like this, just living in the manor and demons escorting him everywhere he went. It was common knowledge that Chris was one of Wyatt's weakness, if he could afford to have one.

Even the same Wyatt had admitted openly that Chris was off-limits, and if someone dared to touch him... well, it would be a big mistake.

Chris knew he was a prisoner in his own house, and living under some sort of Stockholm Syndrome, but what else was he supposed to do now? He was alone, and Wyatt was the only family he had left.

Well, Wyatt and Leo, but he hated his guts. Maybe the cousins...

The cousins. He thought of Coop often, wishing he was well, even when they parted ways in a sour way. He hoped he was safe and just trying to adapt at this new situation. Wyatt didn't kill randomly; he did it when he was provoked or when they meddled in his plans. He never deliberately went and killed witches, unless they got in the way.

And it wasn't fucked up that Chris saw some sort of sense in that? He probably was defending his brother to believe that he wasn't completely evil.

There was still something good in Wyatt, and it didn't matter that Chris was the only one capable of seeing it.

"What do you think happened to Coop?" Chris asked, following his train of thought.

Wyatt tensed, looking at Chris with some sort of blank expression.

"He probably lives some place else. He didn't exactly approved of my methods," Wyatt said with a cold tone.

"Do you think he's safe? And the cousins?"

"I imagine he is powerful enough to survive out there even if he's a Halliwell, and that makes him a target."

"I wish the aunts weren't dead." Chris said with melancholy. "I wish Mom was here... I miss her."

"I miss her too." Wyatt smiled sadly. Chris smiled too, knowing that Wyatt just showed his vulnerable side to him.

They were brothers; even when they didn't approve of each other methods and beliefs, they both were the only family all they had now.

Chris heard a loud explosion. Great, demons attacking the manor again, what else was new? He jumped from his bed quickly, and when he tried to orb, he heard before he saw his bedroom door destroyed.

He was about to flick his hand, when he noticed who was there.

"Coop?"

"Found him!" Coop yelled to someone downstairs; Chris didn't know if he didn't hear him, or he just didn't care.

"What's going on?" Chris tried to come closer to Coop.

"I'm sorry Chris, but you are the key," Coop said, throwing the thing he had in his hand at him.

Chris felt a burning sensation inside his chest, and he started coughing.

"I know Wyatt brainwashed you," Coop explained when Chris kneeled feeling dizzy, "and I don't blame you, but if we want things to change, we need a sacrifice. You are Wyatt's only weakness; I have to kill you."

"That will only make him angrier and more destructive." Chris tried to reason with him while fighting to stay conscious.

"Or it will make him weaker and impulsive, which we can take advantage of." Cooper took a small parchment from his pocket. "I promise it won't hurt. You'll be with Aunt Piper."

"Cooper -" Chris tried to say something else, but then Coops' words echoed through his mind. He would be with his Mom, and he would finally rest.

For a small moment, this seemed the best option to stop living this nightmare. He could be free from the pain and sorrow. He could just rest.

He could leave Wyatt and stop pretending this was fine and living in a delusional fantasy.

"Don't do this." Chris snapped out of it, knowing full well that you couldn't run away from destiny. He was a Halliwell, and he had to stay and help in whatever way he could.

"Tell Mom that I love her." Coop gave him a small smile, "and give Aunt Piper a hug for me."

Chris felt fear; not about the fact that he was about to die, but about what would happen afterwards. Wyatt was barely hanging to a small thread of sanity which Chris tied to maintain at all cost. With Chris gone... he would have no one.

He would be alone, and that was worse than dying. Chris would leave, and probably be with his family. Wyatt would be left alone, like Aunt Prue left his Mom.

Wyatt would be alone with his inner demons, and he would become truly evil.

He heard Coop chanting, and he felt like the air from the room was missing. He was going to die... and hopefully he would see his Mom again.

Suddenly, he heard a small gasp and a breath of air filled his lungs. He coughed, and saw Coop lying on the floor, with a wound on his chest.

"Are you okay?"

He glanced upwards, seeing a girl with black, long hair and dressed entirely in leather.

"Good job." Wyatt entered the room, looking coldly at Coop's body. "He was close."

"I took care of him," the girl said with a satisfied look.

"Chris." Wyatt kneeled next to him, checking to see if he was hurt.

"He tried to kill me," Chris said to make sure everything that happened was real and not just an illusion.

"He has been trying to kill you for months now, Chris." Wyatt explained. "I tried to stop him without killing him, but he didn't give up."

"His sisters...?"

"Dead. He used them as bait."

"No!" Chris stood up, angry. Wyatt was lying; Coop would never use his sisters that way. "Coop wouldn't do that!"

"We all change, Chris. Coop used his sisters thinking it would give him a chance. He used them, and tried to kill you. You lost your beloved cousin a while ago."

"Like I lost my brother?" Chris snapped.

At seeing Wyatt's flinch, Chris felt guilty. Wyatt saved his life, and he was acting like an asshole.

Maybe because, deep down, he wanted to be free. Even if this wasn't the best option.

"Problems in Paradise, I see, " the girl said, smirking.

"Shut up, Bianca." Wyatt glared at her. "Go to Trinity and tell her to hold the demons. You are now officially responsible of Chris' safety. Congratulations."

Bianca... Chris notices how she looked at him and smiled genuinely.

"A Phoenix protecting a witch. Something tells me that it will be a fun ride."

Family dinner was a tradition in the manor, and no matter what, you had to attend or face the wrath of Piper Halliwell.

"Chris, how's school?" His Mom asked.

"Fine." He answered curtly.

"He's angry because he was paired with Coop." Wyatt supplied the missing information from Chris' answer.

"Thank you, Wyatt." Chris muttered.

"Oh, peanut," Piper looked at him sadly. "Are you and Cooper still fighting?"

"He acted like an as -" he noticed the warning look from his parents, "- idiot. And now he wants to pretend nothing happened?"

"I was the one being targeted, Chris." Wyatt tried to reason. "Coop was doing..."

"I know, Wyatt." Chris interrupted, "but it still hurt."

Nobody said anything else, knowing that for Chris, that was a big point.

Deep down, he knew Coop did the best for his sisters, and he couldn't blame him for wanted them safe. But he cut all the ties with Chris, even when he loved him like a brother. And you didn't do that to family, no matter how much you want to pretend it was for the best. You find a way to stay with your family; you shouldn't leave them behind.

"Boys are idiots," Melinda said, breaking the tense moment.

"I agree," his Mom said, smiling at Dad.

"Well, yes, but who would kill the spiders otherwise?"His Dad said in his best solemn voice.

"Dad, we are witches!" Mel whined. "We can handle spiders!"

"Of course. That's why you called me crying to your room."

"ONE TIME! Gee, this family never let anything go."

And right there was the problem. In the Halliwell genes the 'remember everything, even if it hurts' thing was imprinted.

They held things even if it wasn't for the best.

Aunt Prue said it was because it gave life direction. Then again, she had been dead for two decades, what did she know?

Orbs appeared in the room, and Aunt Paige smiled at them.

"Hi! Dinner time?"

"You know it is, Paige." His Mom looked at her with doubt, "and you know we don't interrupt dinner here."

"Oh, yes, sorry, sorry. But it's..."

His mother sobered up, and he went into defensive mode immediately.

"I see. It can wait."

"All right, I just wanted to let you know. I'm going to go now... unless you have cookies? Henry Junior loves them."

"In the kitchen. Help yourself out."

"Thanks. Bye kids!"

"Bye Aunt Paige," the three of them said at the same time.

Chris waited to see if his Mom would explain what just happened, but she just continued eating.

"What was that about?" He had to ask.

"Nothing important. Demon problems, but it's dinner time. And dinner time..."

"... is sacred," said everyone around the table.

They laughed at their Mom's annoyed face while his father said she had to agree that she nagged too much about it sometimes.

Chris knew this had something to do with Aunt Phoebe's family, and given that Coop used their shared assignment as a Q&A session about binding powers and creating potions to kill demons, he knew things were getting messy for them.

However, since Coop didn't ask for his help, Chris was too stubborn to offer it voluntarily. He knew his Mom could handle it; Aunt Prue said she was the most powerful witch the Halliwell family had, and with her sheer personality, it was a winning combination. Aunt Prue loved her sisters a lot, but Chris could tell she had a soft spot for his Mom.

A week later, Chris was in his room when he heard a loud explosion. He jumped out of bed quickly, when he saw his Aunt Paige appearing in his room with Coop and his sisters.

"What's wrong?" he asked quickly.

"Demons. No time to explain, keep Cooper, Prue and Parker here."

"But I -"

Aunt Paige disappeared as quickly as she came, leaving them in an uncomfortable silence.

"Chris, ugly demons came to our house!" Explained P.J., sounding scared.

"I want mommy!" Parker wailed.

"Wyatt!" Chris yelled, not knowing how to handle this, since Coop just looked at him in silence.

"A little busy here, brother!" Wyatt yelled back.

A small, petty part from Chris wanted to say 'well, Coop, you didn't want to be around me, why should I save you now?', but seeing the girls hiding behind his big brother, his anger disappeared.

They looked like Chris and Mel did when they were children, and Wyatt was protecting them when their parents were unable to do it. Even when you didn't leave family aside, you also protect your siblings no matter what.

His bedroom door exploded, and he orbed in front of Coop to help him protect the girls.

When he saw who appeared, he felt almost dizzy.

"Bianca?" He said, knowing well she wouldn't recognize him.

This was one of the moments Chris feared the most. Meeting his true love and knowing they were enemies. If Bianca in the other time-line could change, he had big hopes for this one.

She was still stunning, at least.

"How do you know my name?" She asked with doubt, with her hand ready to throw an energy ball.

"Listen, you don't have to do this, it's -"

"What the hell are you doing?" Coop interrupted. "She's a Phoenix!"

"She's Bianca!" Oh, right. Coop had no idea what he was talking about.

"This is Bianca?" Wyatt appeared in the room too. "Well, well..."

Chris made the mistake of sharing with his brother about Bianca and what happened in the other time-line. Now that he saw his smirk, he realized how big of a mistake it truly was.

"Excuse me?" Bianca glared at them, knowing she was outnumbered, and they could kill her if they wanted.

The fact she didn't just disappeared showed Chris she was as gutsy as he remembered her.

"We killed the Manticore." Wyatt explained. "You are free from your assignment. I recommend you to choose another career path besides witch assassin. Demons are the worst at keeping deals."

"I've heard you liked to lecture your enemies, but I had no idea it applied to those who wanted your family killed," she bit back.

"I like her." Wyatt approved.

"Bianca," Chris said, without knowing what else to add besides 'you're my soul mate'.

"What's happening up there?" they heard their Mom's voice.

"Next time, I'll be ready." Bianca warned, disappearing.

"Tough break, little bro." Wyatt shook his head. "When Mom finds out about it, you'll get lectured about it."

"She dated demons too!" He defended himself.

"Also dead men," Aunt Paige added, appearing in the room. "Like your Dad."

"Ewww." Wyatt and Chris shuddered.

"Could someone explain to me what just happened?" Coop looked confused.

Chris let Wyatt and Aunt Paige explain, while he wondered how could he approach Bianca without being enemies.

He lost her once. He wouldn't lose her again.

"Baby-sitter duty again?"

Chris saw Bianca sitting on the living room, looking bored.

"Wyatt is paranoid. Apparently he pissed off a few high level demons, and now he's waiting for retaliation." Bianca explained.

Chris shook his head, eyes on the Book of Shadows. He was looking for something to help the current situation, and he got stuck on Aun Phoebe's notes about Balthazar.

She fell in love with a demon, and gave up everything, including her sisters. She was the Queen of the underworld for a while. At least Chris wasn't the only one falling for someone he shouldn't. And Bianca wasn't entirely evil. She just sided with the powerful beings, and currently, that was Wyatt.

"Are you still upset about your cousin?" Bianca asked, sounding gentle.

"What do you care?" Chris said in a hard tone. Bianca glared, and he realized she was just trying to be... something closer to nice. "Sorry, it's a sore spot for me. Coop was like my brother, and even when he wanted to kill me... you don't hold grudges with family. He was doing what he thought right. Maybe he wasn't wrong and I should just -"

"I'm going to stop you right there," she scoffed. "You know the problem with you good guys? The pity parties. You're always finding ways to feel guilty about situations you have no control over. Your brother is an egotistical bastard, but at the same time, he cares for his family. That's why he's in the grey shade."

"Are you honestly defending my brother right now?" Chris asked with confusion.

"Chris, I've worked for many demons. Half of them wanted power, the other half, revenge. Your brother… he just wants to stop feeling helpless all the time. And I'm sure I would probably do the same in his place." Bianca sat next to him, putting her hand on top of Chris'.

"I wish things were different," Chris said in a small voice.

"You can change things, Chris. I sided with Wyatt because you were his brother, you know?"

"What? You knew me before all this?"

"I –"

"Bianca."

They both jumped, seeing Wyatt in the room, looking at them with suspicion.

"She was just watching me." Chris felt the need to defend her, even when they weren't doing something wrong.

"Go help Trinity."Wyatt ordered.

"You gave me baby-sitter duty," Bianca snarled, repeating Chris' words. "Don't expect anything different."

"Go!" Wyatt yelled, and Chris tried not to flinch. It was rare when Wyatt raised his voice, as he had no need anymore.

Bianca looked at Chris and smiled, vanishing from the room.

"You know better than loving a Phoenix, Chris," Wyatt said in a clipped tone.

"She was just making conversation, Wyatt." Chris snapped. "Or what? Is that forbidden as well? I'm sick of being treated like a bargain chip by everyone. Coop wanted to kill me, do you even care about that?"

"Chris, Cooper changed when Aunt Phoebe died; we changed when Mom died too, and our cousin wanted revenge. We can't trust anyone, remember this lesson well. We only have each other."

"It gets lonely." Chris touched the Book of Shadows.

Wyatt looked the Book of Shadows in silence for a few minutes.

"Balthazar destroyed Aunt Phoebe, Chris. Don't let that happen to you. You can't trust a Phoenix. Bianca is just playing you."

Chris nodded, knowing that it was what Wyatt wanted him to do. Maybe Bianca was playing with him, but who said Chris didn't want to play along and make his own rules? Balthazar loved Aunt Phoebe; he truly loved her. If he had been capable of feeling love, Bianca could fall in love with him.

Because he was already in love with her. And for that reason, he needed to change needed his happy ending; the one Aunt Phoebe couldn't get.

"Look, Chris, you're a nice guy and everything, but remember, we are enemies." Bianca sighed for the tenth time while Chris tried to engage in conversation.

"We are not!" Chris refuted. "You haven't killed anyone in a while. I know because the Aunts keep track on that sort of thing."

"It's creepy when the good guy stalks you." Bianca shook her head.

"Come on Bianca! Just one date! I promise you, if you are done after that, I will leave you alone. Have I told you how my brother's best friend is a demon?"

"Yes. Repeatedly." Bianca frowned. "All right. One date. Then you go away."

"You won't regret it!"

Chris managed to stay in Bianca's radar for a while before she even agreed on dating him.

"Wyatt is getting suspicious," Bianca said, looking over her shoulder.

"I know. He sent Trinity to baby-sitter duty," Chris said with frustration.

Wyatt was smart, and he knew that Bianca and Chris were getting close. Of course, he had to stop them.

"Are you sure about the plan?"

"You aren't having second thoughts, are you?"

"No, but it's risky. You have your brother's trust right now. If you do this, you'll become his enemy. He'll hunt you down and kill you."

"I'm not that weak anymore, Bianca," Chris said, angry that she doubted his abilities.

"I know Chris, but he's the source. He's the twice blessed, and he's the most powerful magical being that exists."

"But he's evil, and that blinds him like it blinded Balthazar, the Seer and the ones before him."

"He isn't evil yet. But after this betrayal... there's no turn back."

"He didn't give me other options, Bianca. We have to do it."

"Kill Wyatt in order to be free."

"Kill my brother, like Leo suggested."

"Chris, she's a Phoenix!" His Mom yelled at him.

The worst thing about making out with your girlfriend outside your house was being caught by your Mother.

No, the worst thing was being caught by your Mother, and then she trying to vanquish your girlfriend.

"A little help here, Dad?" he pleaded.

"Piper... it's Bianca. You know Chris feels like she's the one for him."

"Do we need another chat with Aunt Phoebe? You know what happened when she thought Cole was the one, right?"

"Bianca it's not like Balthazar!" Chris defended.

"Piper, be reasonable, the girl even stayed after you almost blow her up into pieces," his Dad said in his best 'stop being crazy' voice.

"P-H-O-E-N-I-X" His Mom said slowly.

"You dated a demon! and a dead guy! and Dad!"

"Hey!" His Dad frowned. "I'm on your side here."

"Chris, you'll stop seeing her," his Mom ordered.

"Yeah, not going to happen," he said in a cold tone. "You can't order me around, I'm 18!"

"And I'm your mother!"

"I'm out of here!"

"Chris!"

He orbed to the top of the San Francisco Bridge. He loved there, it was peaceful, and he felt calmer just staring at the sky. He didn't notice when Wyatt orbed there too; he just saw him next to him, with sympathy eyes.

"How angry is she?" Chris asked.

"Well, the Aunts had to do a level 3 intervention." Wyatt shrugged. "She wanted to come here and bring you back home pulling your ear the whole way. Dad and I convinced her that it was best if I came for you."

"I don't get it, Wyatt. Everyone in this family has screwed up at some point. You are Darren's friend, and he's half Manticore!"

"Well, he always helps us around. That's how we knew the other Manticores hired Bianca to kill Aunt Phoebe. Besides she has known Darren since he was a baby, it's not the same thing. For once, I'm not planning on marrying Darren, as handsome as he is."

Chris laughed, knowing well what his brother meant. They knew that when Piper found out about Bianca, she was going to freak out. She, like Chris, held on the memories of the other time-line very tightly.

"Aunt Prue said it'll take a while for Mom to accept Bianca." Chris twirled a few leaves in his hand.

"Mom is pissed at her too. She thinks she's enabling you. But then Aunt Prue spoke in her 'I'm your big sister' voice, and Mom just glared. She's right, you know? Give Mom time to adapt to this."

"Bianca hasn't killed witches in a while. She's even thinking of retiring. For me. She loves me."

"I'm not the one who needs convincing, little brother." Wyatt gave him a slap on his back. "I've seen Bianca around you. She's gone, heart stolen by a dorky kid with a research addiction. Let's go home, and then hopefully Mom will be less... angry."

"Don't count on it."

They orbed to the manor, where Piper was waiting for them with a very hard stare.

"Chris, no matter the argument, you don't orb away from the problems. It better be the last time you do that, are we clear?" Piper said in a cold tone.

"Yes."

"Come here, peanut."

Chris went willingly to his mother's arms, which embraced him tightly.

"Oh, honey. I'll try."

"Really?" Chris asked, voice muffled by the hug.

"For you, I'll try. Let's hope it doesn't come back and bite us in the ass, okay?"

"You said 'ass'," Wyatt pointed out, "swear jar."

"Come Wyatt, let's give them some privacy."

His Dad and Wyatt left the room. Chris didn't know how long they stayed like this, but for him, it was a comfort he needed. You shouldn't choose between your family and the love or your life.

In the end, maybe that was what broke Aunt Phoebe.

"There may be another way to stop Wyatt."

Bianca stared at Chris with doubt.

"I knew you wouldn't be able to kill him."

"Like you weren't able to kill me?" Chris scoffed. "Bianca, I knew you were hired to kill me, even when you tried to convince Wyatt you were on his side. You're a Phoenix, and I knew very well that earning Wyatt's trust was only the means to an end."

"You knew?" Bianca looked shocked.

"Yes, but I also saw when you changed your mind. You never wondered why I knew you loved me? It's because you didn't kill me and actually went along with my plan." Chris kissed her cheek. "And this one can work as well, and I wouldn't have to kill my brother."

"Changing the past... if Wyatt finds out..."

"He won't. He's focused on the new magic era, he didn't even realize I took the spell. I tell you, this can work."

Bianca bit her lip.

"What's wrong?" Chris asked, worried.

"If you change the past... there's no way we will meet. Our paths won't cross if the Charmed Ones are alive."

Chris knew it was a risk; changing time-lines meant creating different options, and the relationships you had in the present couldn't be maintained in this new world.

It was the best option though, and he knew what he had to do.

"I'll make sure that we meet, Bianca. I promise."

He wouldn't lose Bianca. They'll have their happy ending in a better future. He'll have what her Aunt Phoebe couldn't.

"Take the girls with Aun Phoebe!" Wyatt yelled.

Chris barely ducked a fireball thrown at him, and he ran to hide behind one of the tables in the attic.

"You take them!" He yelled back.

Wyatt was about to argue, when Chris threw a potion at a demon, leaving only flames. His brother nodded, and orbed away with P.J. and Parker.

"This is meeting the family, Halliwell style." Chris smirked at Bianca, who just rolled her eyes.

"I'm sure it's a common occurrence in the Charmed house," Bianca scoffed. "You owe me a new sweater."

"Give me a second to get rid of these demons."

"Hurry up. I'm hungry."

Chris jumped away from his hiding spot, seeing three demons in the room throwing fireballs at them. He threw a potion to one on the left, vanquishing fast. He ducked another fireball, and lifted his hand to throw the demon across the room.

"Chris!"

He turned quickly, seeing Bianca throwing an energy ball at a demon behind him. He recovered fast and threw the potion to the demon in the corner. He glanced to his right, seeing a demon coming at him with a knife. It was one of those times when time slowed down, and Chris couldn't orb away on time to be safe.

He closed his eyes by instinct, but he didn't feel pain. When he opened them, he froze.

Bianca was between him and the knife, and she fell on his arms gasping for air.

"Bianca! BIANCA!"

He fell on the floor, holding Bianca's body.

"Bianca, don't do this! Please, not again. Not again!" He was sobbing, feeling hopeless. He promised a better future; he promised her forever.

He couldn't lose her. He did everything right! He couldn't lose her!

"I don't regret anything," Bianca said, in a whisper. "I was really happy, Chris. I love you."

"I love you too, Bianca. Please, don't leave me. I need you! This is our perfect future!"

Bianca lifted her hand, wiping a tear away from Chris' face.

"It was."

"No... please don't die." Chris pleaded. "Bianca..."

She closed her eyes, and Chris knew it was the last time he would see them. He did this. He killed Bianca. He was so stubborn in being in her life, that he didn't see he was cursed, like all the Halliwells who dared to love someone forbidden.

He killed Bianca again, and he didn't know how he was supposed to live with the guilt.

"Chris, let me heal her." Wyatt kneeled in front of them. He probably took care of the rest of the demons.

"You can't heal the dead." Chris sobbed. "She's gone."

"Chris..."

He orbed away with Bianca's body. He just wanted to escape... he wanted to take Bianca and be with her forever.

He broke his promise again.

They never had their happy ending.
