Hey guys. I think I've kept y'all in suspense for long enough! I'm not going to waste time with long introductions and just get to the point. Here's chapter 27!

"Perfect?" Finn laughed. "Ha! You're hilarious! My world is where Maleficent came from. I think you and I both know she's anything but perfect!"

A high-pitched laugh and from behind Marcus. "And we all know Maleficent isn't a saint."

Marcus and Finn both jumped and looked in the direction of the voice. Finn's eyes went wide with shock. No freakin' way...

"Oh boys, please, don't act too surprised." The woman in the light purple, Greek toga said. Her brown hair pulled up in a high ponytail. "We all know Maleficent is worse than Hades himself, but the real question here is how are you going to get rid of her for good?"

Finn composed himself. "Meg...uh...what do you mean 'get rid of her?' You and the other princesses told me that she would never be able to be beaten forever."

"That's true, but while we we're here," Meg motioned to their surroundings. "We could try to delay her coming back."

"How do we do that?" Marcus asked, stepping in front of Finn.

"We think that if you kill her in a certain way, she might not come back for a long time." Meg looked Finn directly in the eyes. "All of you will probably be dead the next time she comes back."

"So now what do we do?" Dillard asked. He sat back down in his chair, Marcus followed.

"I've got to go. I just came here to make sure all of you are alive. My work here is done." Meg turned to leave. Finn looked back at his friend—and Marcus—before following her.

"Meg! Wait up!"

She turned around at the edge of the room. She leaned against the open door and crossed her arms.

"What do you want wonder boy?"

If Finn didn't know any better, he would have thought she was flirting with him. Luckily, he had seen the movie Hercules a million times.

"Look, Meg," Finn stepped in close and crossed his arms. "Do you have anything that could help me reach my friends?" His voice was quiet, but he could hear the desperation in it. He was glad that Marcus and Dillard were on the other side of the room and behind his back. He wouldn't want them to see this side of him.

"You want me to help you find them?"

Finn nodded. "Anything to let them know that I'm alive."

"I might be able to help you out." Meg turned to leave the room, but Finn caught her arm.

"Please help me, Meg. I need to get back to them. To her."

Meg turned around. "Look kid, I can see through your strong hero thing in a Peloponnesian minute." Meg pointed at his face. "Now don't ask me to help because I already am. We all promised we would help. What do you think we've been doing all this time?" Before he could answer, she put her hand on his shoulder and continued. "Trust me, wonder boy, there's so much you don't want to know."

Meg turned to leave again, but Finn didn't grab her arm.

"Any advice for getting out of here? Can't we just follow you?" Finn called out to her. Meg stopped but did not turn.

"No. It's not safe out there yet."

There were a few seconds of silence before she sighed, like she just realized helping him would probably be helpful, despite the fact that she didn't want to.

"The hat would be a good place to rendezvous. But not for a day or two at least."

And just like that Meg disappeared around a corner. There was only one hat he could think of.

"This is a magical potion that can make you immune to any curse," Megara's fingers wrapped around his for a few seconds, closing his fingers around the flask tight. She let go and stepped back.

"Why do I need this? I need something that can kill Maleficent."

"That potion is the key," Cinderella chimed in from the back.

"Finn," Rapunzel reached out and grabbed his shoulder. "We fear Maleficent is working with other villains to create a curse to punish you and your friends. That potion will help you defeat her for all eternity."

Finn glanced down at the flask in his hands.

"But…this only helps me? What about my friends?"

The princesses exchanged grim looks. Ariel came forward from the back of the room, the fob showing in her hand.

"Only you can use that potion, Finn. You're the one that's destined to save us for all eternity."

"But…what about my friends? What will happen to them?"

"You'll have to save them too," Snow White added.

"But we know you can do it," Aurora said with a smile.

"Yes, you're the savior," Cinderella proclaimed. "You will save your friends, all of us," she gestured to the princesses, "and the world."

Finn gulped.

"So…I just keep this with me?"

Ariel giggled. "I'd hide it. You won't be needing it for a few years."

"How come?"

"We've been doing our best to delay them. We'll keep doing that until it's too late." Megara stated in a small voice. "We're on your side, Finn. Remember this."

"And don't tell anyone!" Rapunzel said a little too loud. "You don't want to scare anybody!"

Finn nodded, his gaze lingering on the flask.

"It's time for you to return, Finn," Cinderella said quietly. "But know that we will be working as hard as we can to delay the curse as long as possible."

Finn looked at each of the princesses before saying anything. He knew they weren't working alone, and he was glad. If he was going to have to defeat the Overtakers again, he would need them all on his side.

"Thank you." He said to the princesses.

2:02 A.M.

Amanda rolled over off of the couch and fell onto the ground. She groaned at the pain and pushed herself up. She saw two little feet right in front of her face. Amanda looked up and saw Lizzie standing there.

"Why are you on the floor Auntie Mandy?"

"Hey there Lizzie." Amanda got up and sat back on the couch. She glanced at the couch and saw that it was two in the morning. She opened her arms and the little girl jumped onto her lap. Amanda held her close and kissed the top of her head. "Why are you up in the middle of the night sweetie?"

"I can't sleep."

"Why didn't you go to mommy or daddy?"

Lizzie fiddled with the blanket in her lap. "Mommy was crying and daddy was trying to get her to stop so I came to see you."

Lizzie turned to face Amanda. She had tears in her eyes. "Why was mommy crying? Is it because she doesn't like me?"

Amanda kissed her on the top of the head. "Oh sweetie, your mommy loves you very much. She's...she's just gone through a bad time, that's all."

"Why can't she be happy?"

Amanda cupped Lizzie's chin with one of her hands. "She is, sweetie, she is. But you know what would make her even more happy?"

Lizzie's eyes lit up. "What is that Auntie Mandy?"

"We should make her breakfast in bed and you could draw her a beautiful picture."

Lizzie clapped her hands. "Can we?"

Amanda laughed. "Of course. But let's wait a little. It's too early for breakfast."

"Aww...okay."

Lizzie looked down at her hands.

"But..." Lizzie looked up at her. "We could play a game if you wanted."

"Candyland?" Lizzie's eyes lit up again.

Amanda laughed again. Of course she wanted to play Candyland. It was her favorite. "Sure thing. You stay here and I'll go get it." A smirk grew on her face. "And I'll get some snacks too."

Lizzie slid off of her lap and sat on a spot on the floor. Amanda got up, turned on a lamp and walked into the kitchen. In there she grabbed the box of Oreos and two glasses of milk. She set down the snacks, grabbed the board game and started setting it up.

Once they had started, Lizzie spoke up.

"Auntie Mandy, can I ask you a question?"

"Yes sweetie." Amanda picked up her glass of milk to take a sip.

"When is your baby coming?"

Amanda spit the milk back into the glass. "Uh...why do you ask?"

"Uncle Finn said someday you would have a baby and we would be best friends."

Amanda watched Lizzie as she moved her piece across the board. Finn had told her they were going to have a baby so that she could have a friend? Amanda fought back tears. Just because she's got all those extra hormones coursing through her veins did not mean she was going to cry in front of Lizzie. Especially after she had just seen her mother cry.

"I'm not quite sure, sweetie, maybe soon."

"If it's a girl you should name get after a princess."

"Okay," Amanda laughed. "Which princess is your favorite?"

"Ariel. She's a me-r-r-aid."

"A mermaid?"

"Yeah!"

"That's your mommy's favorite too."

"That's what daddy said."

Amanda nodded and handed Lizzie another Oreo. "Speaking of daddy, let's keep the Oreos between us. Got it?" Amanda offered the Oreo up to a toast. Lizzie knocked the Oreo against Amanda's and took a bite of it.

Lizzie gave her a thumbs up. "You've got it dude."

"But…this only helps me? What about my friends?"

"And don't tell anyone! You don't want to scare anybody!"

"But know that we will be working as hard as we can to delay the curse as long as possible."

"Earth to Amanda!" Maybeck said as he snapped. "We're trying to find your husband here. Stay with us."

"Oh...uh...I'm...umm...I'm sorry." Amanda shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Finn knew about this curse for years.

"As I was saying..." Philby said while glaring at Maybeck. "I think we should try one of the water parks. There's tons of places to hide someone and we all know Finn is afraid of the surf pool—"

"Wait...why would he be afraid of that?" Patrick asked the group.

Jess patted on his arm and let out a little laugh. "He was almost drowned by Ursula there once."

"I think the fact that he jumped off a cruise ship with me has to do with that too," Willa added. "I don't blame him for hating that place."

"Whoa!" Patrick looked at Willa in awe. "This guy is like a legend!" Patrick turned to Amanda. "I've got to meet your husband."

Before Amanda could answer, Jess spoke up. "You will, don't worry."

Charlene spoke up. "Yeah, yeah, Finn's awesome. We've all heard this before." She pointed to the map of Disney World on the table. "Now, back to Typhoon Lagoon."

Maybeck nodded in agreement. Philby took the opportunity to take charge. "Thank you, Charlie. Now as I was saying—"

"He's at the Tower of Terror...or at least he was at some point." Amanda realized her knuckles were turning white because of how tight her grip was on the arms of her chair.

Everyone at the table stared at her, waiting for her to elaborate. Amanda swallowed and continued.

"This is going to make me sound like Jess, but I've been having weird dreams lately. They...they aren't mine. I mean they are my dreams and they're memories...but...but not mine." Amanda paused to take a deep breath. "I think they are Finn's memories."

Maybeck was the first to recover. "Is this some weird thing you two do? You can see each other memories in dreams? Is that what happens when you're apart for too long?"

He had meant it like a joke, but it wasn't received that way.

"What makes you think he's there?" Willa asked Amanda.

"That's where he was in most of the dreams. Along with a handful princesses."

"Princesses?" Maybeck whistled. "Dang, Finn's lucky."

Charlene elbowed him hard.

"So when do we head there?" Amanda asked, this time more forced. She was done with all of this crap. She wanted her husband back. She wanted to go home. Now.

Philby, who seemed surprised at Amanda's tone, composed himself and stood up. "We leave as soon as possible. Willa, can you and I talk for a second?" Philby walked out of the room, with Willa carrying little Lizzie.

Amanda had no idea to what was going on in his mind, but she noticed how his hand was stuck on his pocket, obviously holding something big inside. Normally, she would just assume it was his phone, but she was sure none of them had their phones with them. He had something important that he was hiding from all of them. Philby had never looked so...so...she couldn't think of the word for it. He looked the combination of anger, fear, and excitement. Whatever he was hiding was scary and exciting all at the same time.

Amanda didn't know what he was hiding, but she wanted to know.

Willa, on the other hand, seemed a little bit happier this morning. With Amanda's help, Lizzie had brought her breakfast on bed, along with a few drawings of hers. Amanda hadn't seen Willa's smile that big in the longest time. When Lizzie left the room for a second, Amanda had explained their conversation. After that, Willa hadn't let Lizzie out of your sight all morning. Now that she had thought of it, she hadn't seen Lizzie that happy either.

Philby closed the bedroom door behind Willa and Lizzie. Willa sat down on the bed, Lizzie in her lap.

"What's this all about Philby?"

Philby sat down on the bed next to his two girls. "Lizzie has to come with us."

"WHAT?"

"That's why I brought you in here. Here me out."

"What would possibly make you feel like bringing our daughter on a rescue mission for Finn would be a good idea?"

Philby took both of her hands in his. "Because once we get Finn, we break the talisman and we go home."

Willa leaned in. "Are you serious right now? We can't bring her there! Why can't we just bring Finn back to Wayne's apartment?"

"And risk someone getting hurt? Let's just do it as soon as possible."

Willa glanced down at their daughter. "That doesn't seem like the best decision…"

"But we'll be able to go home."

"But we'll be risking not only our lives, and our friend's, but our daughter's."

"Wayne can go back and forth between both worlds. Why can't we just let him take her back now, and then we can meet her when we come back?"

"Why can't Wayne just take all of us back then?"

Philby shook his head. "I already asked him. He said that we're bound here by the curse."

"Okay, so Wayne takes her. Why are you suggesting that she comes with us?"

"What if we find Finn before we can get to Wayne? Who knows where the guy's been for the past few days! We've got to bring her in the case that we find Finn so that we can immediately use the talisman...and go home."

"How do you know that talisman is going to work?"

Philby studied her. He couldn't tell if the look in her eyes was angry, upset or just down right confused. It was the one look he never understood. He usually thought it was cute, because she usually wasn't using it on him, but now she was anything but. It was utterly confusing. It took a lot to get Philby this confused.

"I don't."

This time Willa studied him. She sighed. That confusing look in her eyes melted to one of sympathy. "Fine. She can come, but if anything, and I mean anything, happens you will pay."

Willa put Lizzie in Philby's lap and walked out of the room. When she got to the door, she turned around and paused, mulling over the right words to say.

"Why not wait and be sure? Maybe Finn knows something."

"He might. But do you want to stay in this curse for another day or two?"

"Do you really want to risk something happening to us trying that talisman that you got from a former Overtaker?"

"Do I want to? No." Philby stood up, holding his daughter tight. "Do I feel like its necessary? Yes."

Willa shook her head. "Philby…"

"Willa, I've got to protect you and Lizzie. I need to get you both out of this world and back home where I know you both will be safe."

"Philby…"

Philby closed the gap between them and put his free hand on her cheek. "Willa, let me be your knight in shining armor. Please."

Willa sighed. "Fine." She kissed him quickly on the lips. "But don't do anything too heroic, okay? I'm not going back without you. You hear me?"

Philby kissed her again. "Me?" He smirked. "A hero? Nah…"

Bus Stop #2

12:21 P.M.

Charlene was going insane. She was sure of it. The same voice was still haunting her from the day she broke off the engagement. It had just come back with more force since she had accepted Maybeck's proposal for the second time.

"Do you want him to suffer for all eternity?"

"Shut up," Charlene muttered under her breath.

"You okay?" Willa asked quietly, carrying her daughter on her hip. Charlene could tell she was still mad that her daughter was coming along, but there was something she was hiding—something Charlene couldn't figure out yet.

"Yeah! Of course!" She realized how peppy that sounded the second she said it. She looked over at Willa and shrugged if off.

"Alright," Willa said suspiciously. Charlene let her walk ahead of her. Now Charlene was at the back of the group as they walked into Hollywood Studios and up Hollywood Boulevard.

"You're just hurting him. It'll only get worse."

"You've fallen down into a never-ending pit of misery."

"Break it off now before something bad happens again."

Charlene couldn't take it anymore. She stumbled over to the wall of the nearest shop and put her hand on the wall. Deep pain seared through her head and down through the rest of her body. She put her second-hand on the wall. She felt like she was going to vomit. She put a hand on her stomach.

"You brought on the curse all by yourself."

The guilt of her decision over a year ago was weighing down on her. She felt miserable, no scratch that, worse than miserable…if that was possible. She just got re-engaged, she should be happy. She should be finding her old wedding plans and talking about the bachelorette party. She should be spending her day finding the perfect wedding dress.

Instead she felt shame, guilt, disgust. Painful migraines. Hurtful words echoing in her mind. Constant nausea. This wasn't how things were supposed to go, but this was her life.

"Charlene?" A muffle male voice said from far away—at least that's what it sounded like.

She heard footsteps and her name one more time, still severely muffled.

"Every death that happens in the next twenty-four hours will be on your conscience."

Charlene couldn't take it anymore. Her knees buckled and she collapsed onto the ground. Right before she passed out from the pain, she heard someone yell her name. She couldn't tell who it was, but the voice sounded so familiar. It almost sounded like Maybeck...

"Charlene!"

Through blurry vision she saw his face for a brief second and then the world went black.

Hmmm...Charlene's passed out. Finn, Dillard & Marcus are still cooped up in the Tower of Terror. Philby's thinking this is their chance to go home. Interesting...

I hope y'all liked this chapter. It didn't work out quite as well as I thought, but that's okay.

I'll try to have the next one up as soon as possible. In the meantime, review and tell me what y'all think! I love reading them! Enjoy the rest of your week! :)
