This is the final final chapter of everything. It finally ends ! Yaaaay.

'Take good care of her for me.'

That familiar voice of a man woke Raleigh from his sleep.

'Yeah I know.", he replied in his heart.

The room was silent, but Raleigh can hear voices and laughter from outside. A boy, a girl and that melodic voice he could listen to forever.

He stepped out from his bed, their bed, and peeked through the window blinds that held the sunlight back.

He walked down through the carpeted stairs and walked to their backyard. He peeked at the kitchen, it's still clean and tidy, means that no cooking has occurred. Typical.

The two steel decorated with glass door leading to the backyard was wide open. He can smell the leaves and the fresh air. Of course, the talking got louder.

The two kids still in their pajamas, stood in the middle of the backyard. A figure with long hair with her back on Raleigh sat down a distance from them.

After that a fizzing was heard, followed by the children's scream.

'Tres bien!'

"But it was so low.", the children replied with disappointment.

"No, it's okay. You did very very well. Now, go on. Gather the rocket back."

"So, the rocket can really fly?", asked Raleigh.

The long haired figure looked back to Raleigh.

'Well, bonjour."

"Good morning to you too. Je suis too embarrassed to reply you in French.", he replied.

Raleigh sat next to his wife, who is sitting cross legged with a baby boy on her lap watching his brother and sisters with awe. Raleigh took the boy in his arms.

"Well, good morning to you, little man."

"Can we try again?", asked the two kids again.

"Sure, sure. Show it to Daddy."

The homemade plastic rocket, flew a couple of meters off the ground after the fizzing. The kids groaned in disappointment again.

"You really didn't help them?", he asked.

"Nope, if I helped them, it would fly to the next city."

"Please, no bragging.", he jokes.

The two kids brought back their rocket in their little hands and ran back.

"What did we do wrong, mom?"

"Some problem with the throttle and body, je pense. But you are on the right track."

"Really?"

"Really really."

Elsa took their hands and pulled them towards her.

"You did very well and I am proud of it. Now, as we agreed. Tidy up, breakfast, shower and then we can go. Bien?"

"Bien!", the two kids answered happily.

Elsa stood up, patting her legs and took her smallest boy. Raleigh followed her.

"We can go where?", asked Raleigh.

"Buying supplies for paper lanterns and probably a prototype radio. Their idea, not mine.", Elsa answered.

"Definitely your children."

"With you and me, they might save the world someday."

Morning breakfast was Elsa's duty. The kids loved Elsa's breakfast more than Raleigh's for unexplained reasons. So, as time goes by, it became Elsa's duty.

"Kids their age play board games, puzzles…."

"Our kids finished a 30 piece puzzle when the other babies are still learning to walk. Normal is overrated.", Elsa answered from behind the counter.

Raleigh sighed as he took a spoonful of banana porridge.

"I think the radiation did something to your body."

"What?"

"Well, we keep on having child prodigies."

"You are just jealous that it was my superior genes that's being passed on for the sake of humanity."

Elsa put 2 plates of character shaped pancakes on the table.

"We should do more for humanity.", said Raleigh. "Your point?"

Raleigh gave a look to Elsa before a small hand flipped the porridge bowl upside down followed by a happy giggle.

"Hey, buddy, don't do that!"

Elsa took 2 sheets of wipes and handed it to Raleigh.

"3 is more than enough, Raleigh."

"Half a dozen is more than enough.", jokes Raleigh.

Elsa glared back before motioning a pinch to Raleigh.

"I can hurt you with these two fingers.", threated Elsa.

"Okay, okay. Back to feeding the baby."

Raleigh wouldn't forget how good Elsa can hurt him. Physical hurt, not mental hurt. It can be just a hard press to the top of the muscle where the forearm meets the elbow or anything else dealing with pressure points, from the fingers that caress him so softly, it can also bring him terrible pain.

Raleigh fears Sadist Elsa the most.

After the Shatterdome was shut down, Elsa recovered back in Sitka. Raleigh has an agenda of his own. Day by day, Raleigh would talk about his past, wanting Elsa to be bothered by not having a past.

These efforts turns out to be in vain. Until one day, Raleigh sat her down and with all his courage asked her for a favor.

'I want you to learn about your past. Deal with it and embrace it.'

Sofi was of course the one to help them. And it was during these times, that everything was difficult and hard, it can tear both of them apart.

One day, Elsa snapped and ran to the building roof.

"If that is who I was in the past, I don't want to be her."

Raleigh walked gently towards Elsa. He was anxious, but Elsa was afraid.

"No, don't come near me!"

"It's all in the past, Elsa. We move on, but we don't ran away from it."

"Oh I did a lot of things in this world, I think I can be rewarded with one running away."

"You violated Yancy's mind, at least do it for him!"

Elsa looked back at Raleigh with a surprised look.

"Yancy was not the kind of person who would run away from anything. If his goal is the burning sun, he'll walk to it, he'll run. He won't care what you did in the past, I knew but look, I don't care. The other knew and they stayed for you. Please."

Raleigh gently moved his feet and walked closer. He motioned his hands to Elsa. With shivering legs, Elsa grabbed his hand.

The next step was to reunite Elsa with her parents, well at least her father. Elsa met Eleanor occasionally and most of it turns to be a silent meeting. Eleanor still regretting over what she has done in the past and Elsa feeling weird with this side of her mother she never knew before. But time after time, smiles and laughter appeared between the two.

Elsa's grip on his hand was hard it was almost painful for Raleigh.

"Relax."

Elsa and Raleigh were inside Elsa's old home. After entering the big wooden door, Elsa couldn't bear another step. She breathe in and out.

"You literally went on suicide mission on a planet full of Kaijus, I think you can do this one."

A glare was a reply to Raleigh.

'Who is this someone that you said wanted to see me?'

Raleigh knew Elsa was shocked by her father's voice from afar by her body suddenly turning stiff.

'Want, that person still wants to see you.'

'Why are you so cheery and talkative lately?'

'You will see why.'

Elsa almost took a step back as the voice became nearer and nearer. Raleigh held her hand tight, preventing her from going 2 steps back and running through the big wooden door.

'There.', Eleanor said.

From the right living room was Eleanor with a man with grey hair but he still stand straight and stiff.

Both Elsa and her father was silent. Her father turned pale and Elsa's grip got stronger. Raleigh put another hand over her trembling fingers.

With lightning speed, her father shook away Eleanor's hand on him and turned his heels and walked back where he came from.

At the same time, Elsa let go of Raleigh's hand ran towards her father. She grabbed the strong arm, but the man didn't turn his back, he just stop.

'Please don't go.'

'I don't know who you are.'

'I am not the Liz you once knew. I forgave you for whatever you did to me in the past. It is all in the past. I doesn't matter anymore.'

Her father kept silent still. Elsa let go of him but he didn't walk away.

'I did bad things in the past, I killed. I did something bad to a very good person who loved me with all his heart but I did him wrong. But by the grace of this world, I was given a second chance. Raleigh helped me realize it. So, from now, I was determined that everyone deserves a second chance.'

Her father turned and faced Elsa, his daughter he once abandoned.

'And that includes you, Sir.'

With effort and patience, everything went well. Everyone was happy. And now, his children have probably the most doting grandfather in the world.

Now, having all the free time she can have, Elsa learned languages and with her, it was all the language she can learn. French, German, Danish, Finnish and all sorts of them that gave Raleigh headaches. Of course, French became her and her father's secret language.

Raleigh couldn't be more grateful for the life he has now. It can't get any better than this.

"Write wishes so that grandpa and grandma will live a long and healthy life.", Elsa said.

The sun was almost setting. They are back at the back yard, writing letters that will fly up high to the sky.

"Can we wish for a rocket so that we can strap it down and build a new and better one?"

The question brought laughter to Raleigh, he almost cried.

"Oh God, please grant me the strength to be a good father for enthusiastic prodigies."

Raleigh and Elsa both wrote their letter in secret.

'I am taking care of her. Don't worry.'

'Take care of yourself. I love you.'

The fire from the candles, lift up the paper lanterns and it decorated the night sky with its warm light.

"Bye!", the two kids waved at the paper lanterns that went higher and higher into darkness.

This is an Elsa route(?) story, well, it's not that I don't like Mako-Raleigh. I even had another one with Mako route. Lol.

Tell me what you think.
