AN: Hey, everyone, I thought I'd update soon because of yesterday's cliffhanger. So guys, this story is beginning to come to a close. Honestly, after this, I'm thinking three or four more chapters and then an epilogue. As always, thanks for reviewing, reading, following and favoriting! Enjoy the chapter!

Meeeeee: Mwahahahahahahaha, I did just go there! ;) Haha, at least I updated quickly. Don't worry, you'll be finding out who the little birdy is soon enough. ;) Oops, I just used a wink twice in two sentences. That's a bit weird. I agree with everything you said about the movie! To be honest, I actually really liked the Percy Jackson movie. However, the second one was absolutely awful and so incorrect I wanted to scream. Very loudly. In the middle of the theater. Thanks for reviewing, and enjoy the chapter! :)

Emma221: Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it a bit more! Enjoy the chapter!

Guest: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Haha, you don't have to wait anymore, here's the chapter!

Disclaimer: So, I've never owned The Mortal Instruments. I still don't own The Mortal Instruments. I probably never will own The Mortal Instruments. Cassandra Clare does, so everything belongs to her except for the plot.

I woke up in a place not exactly what you'd have expected after being, you know, kidnapped. It wasn't cold, nor dark, but actually rather warm and well lit. For all I knew, it was mere seconds after he gave me the shot, but most likely not considering I was in a completely new location.

Looking around, I realized I was on a soft bed, wrapped I'm a comforter that was of higher quality than the on in my own apartment. There were windows letting in some sunlight, and it seemed to be about morning. I was wearing the same clothes, and was surprised to notice my phone still in my pocket.

In my mind, I rolled my eyes. For a plan that seemed rather elaborate, that was a stupid mistake. Then I could just text my friends my location and they would be able to come find me. But, I didn't know where I was, and when I went to turn on my phone, the T.V. in the front of the room blinked to life without warning, showing Sebastian's annoying face. It seemed a bit prerecorded, considering it was nighttime in the video and the way he was speaking.

"Well, if you're watching this, my plan was a success. Of course it would be, but just for clarification. I've rigged a little something so that this video plays every time you try to turn your phone on. So, sorry, no Netflix. Just my wonderful face. In movies, people always explain their whole plans, which I will not do. All you need to know is that you and I will be together for a long, long time. Your pitiful friends have probably contacted the police by now, but mere law enforcement will not be able to find you, not here. Enjoy your stay here at Casa De Jonathan. What do you think of the name Jonathan? It's my new alias. Sebastian Verlac will be too easy to find, so I went with Jonathan Morgenstern. Anyways, I have to go now. I'll be seeing you later, right now I have some business to attend to." He flashed his irritatingly cocky grin before the screen went black again.

In vain, I once again tried to turn on my phone. "Well, if you're watching this, my plan was a success." Sebastian repeated, the video once again playing. In pure frustration, I grabbed my phone, throwing it against the wall. This time it shattered completely. The panic set in along with frustration, and I was just pretty much turning into a hot mess. Trying the obvious, I went to see of the door would at least let me into the rest of the house. It did not. It was pretty much as locked as doors can get.

A desperate plan started forming in my head. He said I'd be seeing him later, which meant he'd have to open the door to this room sometime. When he did, I'd be ready, and would run out of the room. I was smaller than him, which meant I was probably faster, so I hoped I'd just have to evade him from there until I found some sort of exit. It sounded hopeless, even to me, but it was all I had. I knew there was no way I'd get out if I didn't try, and it at least had a chance if I tried.

I knew white walls and no human interaction would drive me slowly insane, so I filled my mind with thoughts to try to distract me, for a few minutes at the very least. I went into some strange territories. At first, I thought about mundane things like how Jace, my brother, and now Sebastian all had the same name. That would get confusing. I hoped my friends were looking hard for me, I didn't know if I could take that much more of that, despite the fact that it had been only a few hours why that point. I wondered what they were doing at that exact moment. Were they talking to the police? Were they asleep? What time even was it? I didn't know the answers to a single one of those questions, but at least it gave me something to think about, something to hold on to.

Running out of new topics to 'discuss' with myself, I focused my eyes on the door. When Sebastian came, I'd be ready. I had experienced life with him before, and that was something I was never going back to.

There was a knock on the door, first slow and then a bit more desperate. The door creaked a bit, and then the knob started turning. It opened to reveal Sebastian. Heart just about ready to explode, I fulfilled my earlier plan. I got up and ran.
