AN: Hello everyone! I'm really sorry I haven't updated I'm a few days, but this has been a bit of a crazy week. But finally, it's Friday afternoon, and. I had a moment or two of peace. Enjoy the chapter! Also, sorry if all reviews aren't replied to here, I got confused about what review was for what chapter.

Meeeeeee: Hello! Sorry about the cliffhanger, but this one doesn't end like that, so that's good. Yeah, I guess you're right. It was a good movie, but it didn't fit the book very well. Hmm, I wouldn't say Sebastian is a... Nice villain. You'll see in this chapter! ;) And yes, there will definitely be more one-shots when this is done.

kclare21: Thank you so much! I'm really glad you're enjoying it! I see what you mean, the title and summary are a bit strange and honestly don't fit the story as much as I originally intended them too. However, the story is almost over so it wouldn't make a ton of sense to change the title and summary now. Also, I don't want to confuse any readers or make them lose the story or something if they haven't followed it. That said, thanks for the suggestion! I appreciate it!

Shailene: Sorry for not updating in a few days, but I worked pretty hard on this one so I hope you enjoy it!

DracoLover13TheDeathEater: Thank you! I'm glad you're liking it!

Disclaimer: Nah, still don't own TMI in case you were wondering.

I had short legs, so running wasn't my strong suit, but I had a suspicion that in that exact moment, I was faster than any Olympian.

I jumped up, sprinting past Sebastian. He tried to grab at my arm, but I was five feet away when his arm finally made it all the way out. Despite anxiety and just plain old fear, I smirked to myself: I was getting away.

However, I stopped short completely when I saw where I was. It was no house, not even some type of office building, but an enormous warehouse. There were plenty of aisles, even shelves, but no merchandise. This was no store. I skidded to a stop, almost tripping over. Nervously, I looked around at my surroundings, but I jumped right back into the chase of sorts when I felt fingers graze my back, trying to pull me with them, and a voice only a few feet away.

"Hm, I didn't think that would faze you this much. You've gotten more stupid than the last time I saw you, if I am remembering correctly." It was obvious who it was, and he said that so calmly, so matter of factly, that it was as if he was telling me that he had forgotten to buy eggs at the grocery store.

Even the small touch sent me back into a sprint, for my mind remembered those fingers, it remembered that voice. It remembered that voice whispering that it loved me, and it remembered that voice screaming hateful words at me. It remembered those hands soothingly rubbing my shoulders, and it remembered those hands trying to restrain themselves from slapping me. Finally, it remembered them hands giving up on trying to restrain themselves and hitting me full force.

I took the most confusing path, one with twists and turns and swerves and a little bit of hiding here and there. Hopefully one that was hard to follow. Looking across the area, I spied a door that had 'emergency exit' written on it in enormous scarlet letters. I locked it into my brain, trying to cut out all unnecessary information. But, there was an obstacle too large to ignore.

"Crap..." I whispered to myself.

The door was on the other side of the building, easily a few hundred feet away. And beside that, I had speed, but not much stamina. We couldn't go on like that forever. Taking gasping breaths, I allowed myself a second to stop and take everything in.

I was filled with new hope when I saw that Sebastian was nowhere in sight, and the warehouse was pretty quiet except for my breathing, which in all honestly probably sounded like a dying porpoise. A small smile once again found it's way onto my face, for it seemed I was clear for a few seconds. Sometimes two seconds could be all it took to grab you back from the edge of the cliff.

Once again going full force, I haphazardly made my way to the exit. I was very much done with that mess, thank you very much.

But, before I even got close, the same hand, this time attached to, you know, it's body, sprinted out from behind a shelf I was near. He chuckled, quickly enclosed his hand around my wrist, and began to drag me back to the room I was in.

"Hm, that was amusing at least." he said, obviously doing a terrible job of hiding his malice on purpose.

By the time we had gotten back to the room, I had gained a few new bruises thanks to his grip of steel. He shoved me back in, and pulled a beautiful knife out of a sheath I had not been able to see. It looked old, a family heirloom perhaps, but it was obviously polished and well taken care of. My thoughts stopped, however, when I noticed a single drop of crusty blood dried onto the handle. It was pretty obvious Sebastian wasn't going to use it to teach me how to play darts.

"Ooo, I just thought of a game we could play! As a bit of, I don't know, motivation for you. The rules are simple: every time you try to run away, I cut you. Each time you run away, it gets more severe. I wonder how long we can make it until you die! This'll be so much fun!" In a way that was creepily childlike, he giggled, and pure joy crossed his face. Again, he started to speak. "My turn!" he yelled, and with reflexes that he hadn't tapped into a few minutes before, he sliced a semi shallow cut on my forearm. I screamed, more in surprise and fear than pain.

I looked down at my arm, watching blood drip out. First one drop, then two, and soon enough there was a steady stream of deep red liquid. I braced myself, expecting another cut, but he was now standing in the doorway.

"This'll be fun! Thanks for coming to play with me!" he yelled joyfully before running out of the room and quickly locking the door.

As a few tears slipped out, I put my arms in front of my face to wipe some of them away. It was futile, and they started spilling out faster. As I still to clear my eyes in vain, the blood and water mixed, forming an odd colored puddle on the floor.
