Hold My Hand
Chapter V

Beepbeepbeep!

Elsa greeted the new day with a startled twitch.

The sound was awful, but her day was already planned out, and she was nothing if not meticulous when it came to self-imposed schedules.

Languidly, the blonde extended her hand and pawed blindly for her alarm clock. After several unsuccessful attempts, she finally managed to silences the ghastly noise.

The pile of blankets and pillows that nested and concealed the blonde from the world began to shift, soon thereafter her head poked out, and she blinked her arctic blue eyes blearily.

Still somewhat groggy, she took a pause, and her gaze slowly moved from her digital clock—which read `6:10 AM' in neon-red lights—to her hand, which was still outstretched, and she wiggled her fingers listlessly. The longer her eyes remained fixated on her wriggling digits, the more her mind wandered.

She had dreamt pleasantly the night before.

Mostly of Anna.

The faintest hint of red blossomed over her pale cheeks, and she buried her nose into her pillows, inhaling deeply the cordial scent of freshly washed sheets. She was thankful in that moment that she always set her alarm with a ten minute leniency.

She was far too somnolent to do anything but reminisce. And her mind continued to buzz insistently with thoughts of her younger sister. Thoughts of her dreams melted into the reality of the night before, of Anna seated in her lap—

"Ngh," Elsa sat upright rather quickly, having the shake the mounting arousal that was threatening to build if her mind continued to wander down that path.

Instead, she threw off her covers and stepped into the chill of her room. Striding towards the door, she was forced to pass her computer chair, and immediately she felt a tingling sensation trace down her body and pool between her thighs.

She was quick to chastise herself inwardly. She was never this quick to excite before she and Anna began fooling around. Then again, she reasoned, it hasn't been that long. Pausing dead center in the middle of her room, the blonde chewed at the inside of her cheek as she mused on her myriad of thoughts.

That was until she heard muffled voices outside her door.

"Anna, hurry up—" Her mother hollered, and Elsa could hear footsteps padding through the hallway.

"I'm almost done!" Anna called back, and at the mere sound of the redhead's voice, Elsa's heart skipped a beat.

"You're going to be late," Elsa could practically hear her mother rolling her eyes and shaking her head, "maybe we should shut the hot water off—"

"No!" Anna squeaked, followed by the sound of fumbling. Elsa made her way to her door, opening it hesitantly as she poked her head out the threshold. She caught glimpse of her mother as the brunette descended the staircase to her right, and quickly turned her eyes to the washroom across the hall.

Steam was seeping out through the half inch of space at the base of the door, and through the frame, where the old door was beginning to buckle. No doubt Anna was going to use all the hot water before she even had a chance to get in the shower.

The blonde pursed her lips, stood upright fully and steeled herself. Striding across the hall, she stopped at the door and raised her knuckles in readiness to knock. Then, all at once, the wooden barrier was gone and she was enveloped by billowing steam that poured out the now open door.

"Anna!" Idun shouted from the main level. "I'm serious, if your butt isn't dressed and down here in five minutes you're walking."

"I'm coming," The ginger called back, exiting the room while waving her hand, trying to fan away the mist. When teal eyes spotted azure, the redhead smiled. "Oh, hey Elsa—I swear I didn't use all the hot water."

"I'm sure you didn't," Elsa quipped with a crooked smile. She looked dopey, she felt dopey, but Anna always made her feel muzzy.

"I make no promises, but—" Anna made an attempt to slip around Elsa, clutching the towel like it was her lifeline, "—I'm fairly certain there's enough left for one of your showers."

Five minute showers; Elsa was famous for them.

The blonde turned her head to follow her sister's hasty exit. "I'll hold you to that."

"I'm sure," Anna giggled, noticing the discrete way her elder sibling sized her up. "I'll see you later tonight?"

"Yeah," The blonde rolled her shoulders, relieving a knot that formed in her sleep. "I don't have any late classes."

"I know," The ginger beamed, "not that I have your schedule memorized or anything." Elsa smirked at that, and Anna felt her cheeks grow warm.

"I'll see you tonight." Elsa hummed.

"Anna!" Idun shouted, jingling her keys for good measure. Anna jumped.

"I'm coming Mama, I'm just saying goodbye to Elsa!" The redhead shouted, leaning over to press a chaste kiss to Elsa's pale cheek. "Bye." She whispered sweetly into the blonde's ear before scurrying off to her room and leaving Elsa standing in the washroom doorway.

"Bye," Elsa replied softly, her hand coming up to rub the freshly kissed spot on her cheek, as she wandered into the foggy, moist bathroom. Walking to the tub, the blonde drew back the curtains with a rattling clink, and reached in for the knob.

Everything was still damp, and warm, from Anna's prior shower. The blonde tried to focus her mind on the task at hand, turning the water back on with a low hiss, before walking back to the door to close and lock it.

She undressed, folding her pyjamas and undergarments, and placing them neatly in the laundry hamper (on top of Anna's own discarded clothing, which was balled up and tossed haphazardly into the basket). Then she readied her hair; unbinding the braid and raking her fingers through the ivory blonde strands, pulling loose knots and combing it straight.

Once ready, and with the bathroom filled with hot steam—thankfully, Anna hadn't used all the hot water—Elsa stepped into the tub and drew the curtains shut. She tentatively stepped under the comfortably warm water, allowing it to pour and run over the contours of her body, while she raked her fingers through her now damp hair.

Stepping carefully, the blonde relaxed entirely under the pleasurable warmth, inhaling deeply through her nose. The steam mixed with the faintest remnants of Anna's body wash and shampoo, and the scent did wonders for the gentle throb still present between the blonde's thighs.

Elsa breathed evenly, running her hands over her body to wash, moving from her chest to her taut stomach, then along her sides and to her hips. She traced the curves and swell of her form, one hand cheekily dipping between her legs as her fingers brushed the ivory curls above her center.

"Mmm, Anna," The blonde gasped.

A single digit traced along her slit, and her pearly whites dug into her lower lip. The blonde's mind, despite her protests, flittered from her well-planned schedule to her ginger sibling. Anna had just been in this very shower, nude, with water cascading over her freckled, sunkissed skin.

A low, throaty moan escaped the blonde as the pad of her middle finger dipped between her lips.

"Hng," Elsa groaned softly, delicately touching her sensitive folds.

She tried to visualize it. She tried to imagine Anna's body, her mind pasting together the puzzle pieces of what she had seen before—Anna's shoulders, and her upper chest, wonderfully revealed by those summer dresses she loved; her long, toned legs, which she displayed when wearing skirts or shorts; her taut, faintly toned stomach, which Elsa was able to catch sight over a few times when they found themselves in the middle of a heated tickle fight—but key areas were still left blank, and up to her imagination to fill.

From the few times she'd fondled, groped and fingered her sister, she could imagine what the ginger's chest and core looked like. Unfortunately, neither sibling was quite ready to be bared and naked for the other. They were still inexperienced, shy, and even a bit modest.

Elsa's finger dipped in deeper, running along her folds, up to her clit. "A—ah," A moan was caught in her throat, and she swallowed it. She knew this needed to be a quick session, lest she fall behind in her scheduling. "A—Anna."

The blonde moved her finger against her clit, rolling the small pearl as she stroked it. Her mind flooded with more thoughts of Anna, of their first time, only a few weeks earlier, when the redhead had crept into her room in the middle of the night.

"Anna?" The blonde turned her head to her doorway, where the hall light created a silhouette of her younger sister standing within the frame.

"Can I…sleep with you tonight?" The redhead asked, her voice incredibly small.

Elsa smiled, rolling onto her side in her bed, and patting the section to her right. "Yeah."

Without another word, Anna closed the door and scurried across the room, crawling under the blankets to immediately snuggle up against Elsa.

"You okay?" The blonde hummed, burying her hand in Anna's loose fiery locks, and beginning to rake her fingers through the auburn threads.

"Yeah," Anna murmured, kissing her sister's jaw.

Elsa giggled. "Someone's affectionate tonight," She noted.

"Maybe," Anna murmured, resting her hand on Elsa's hip and giving it a squeeze. The blonde sucked in a deep breath, stifling a pleasured gasp.

"Anna—" She hissed softly, but quickly withdrew her tone as Anna's lips began pressing feathery light kisses along her jaw and down her slender throat. "—wh-what are you doing?"

"Giving you kisses," The redhead replied evenly, "i—is that okay?" She faltered.

"Yeah," The blonde replied weakly, her eyelids falling somewhat.

"I…had a dream about you," Anna explained, between kisses to flawless, alabaster skin, "and you…were touching me. It was…incredible."

An intense feeling pooled between the blonde's quivering thighs, and began to throb. "So that's why you're so…frisky." The blonde gathered, and the redhead blushed.

"If you want me to stop, I will, I just thought—"

"It's okay, Anna," The blonde smiled, kissing her sister's forehead sweetly, and reaching her own hand out to lay it on Anna's hip. The ginger squirmed.

"Do you…t-think I could, maybe—"

KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK

"Elsa?" Agdar's voice, low and deep, followed the raps at the bathroom door. Elsa practically leapt out of her skin, twitching violently and wrenching her hand away from her body.

"YYeah, Papa?" She squeaked, her throat dry and her lungs burning.

"Did you need a ride?" He asked.

"N-No," The blonde stammered, trying to steel herself. "I'm going to take the bus. Thank you, though, Papa."

Agdar smiled. "Alright, I'm going to head out early then. See you tonight, Princess."

"Bye," Elsa replied quickly. Unable to contain her earlier actions, the blonde hurriedly finished washing up, dried off and got dressed. She knew full well that the remainder of the day would keep her on edge.

School was usually uneventful.

Not much transpired, and Anna found herself bored into her usual stupor. She was studious enough, and even got good grades, but still found lecture style teaching to be tedious and monotonous.

And just like any other school day, she had made the trip, visited her locker, and was now seated at her desk. Well, more like slumped, as her posture was nowhere near upright. Not even the various conversations occurring around her peeked her interests.

"Anna, hey—unf, over here!" The ginger raised her head, wide teal eyes scanning her surroundings for the source of the voice. "Right over—ugh, excuse me, pardon me—here!"

The sea of classmates parted listlessly as the caller appeared, with an unabashedly wide smile, ear to ear, spread across her round face which was framed by a thick head of chestnut brown.

"Oh, hey Mabel," Anna smiled, bracing herself for the imminent impact. When a pair of strong arms wound themselves around her, and she was drawn into a bone-crushingly strong hug, the redhead gasped once before being mercifully released.

"Hey bud-bud," The chipper brunette chortled, "we still on for tonight?" She inquired, slipping into her own desk, to the left of Anna's.

Was it Friday already? Of course it had slipped her mind that she'd made plans.

"Sure thing Mabel," Anna answered quickly, tossing in a smile for good measure.

"Great," Mabel grinned still, dropping down into her own seat, and causing the contents of her oversized sweater pocket to rattle—no doubt she had some assortment of art supplies stashed away.

For as long as the excitable girl had been Anna's friend, she could always be sure of two things: One, Mabel would always wear a sweater—unless it was unbearably hot, in which case she seemed entirely underdressed, but still sported the sweater tied around her waist via the sleeves—and two, that anything was cause for a spontaneous art project in the brunette's eyes.

"Is it okay if Dipper tags along too?" Mabel blinked, her eyes wide and hopeful.

"Sure," Anna shrugged coolly, "you know Dipper's always welcome, too."

"Great," Mabel leaned over in her seat, elbowing Anna, "I think he might have a crush on you."

Anna quickly waved her off. "Mabel," She admonished, "I think you're exaggerating. You always think Dipper has a crush on someone."

Mabel threaded her fingers and rested her hands on her desk. "Well, he usually does. He's one of those types to get multiple crushes."

The redhead snorted. "I think you're confusing your brother for you, honest mistake."

"Hey," Mabel pursed her lips, "I'm getting better."

"Maybe," The ginger quirked a grin, "are you still pining after that Mermando guy?"

The brunette gawked. "You mean Ariel's cousin?" She laughed. "No, I'm over him."

Anna smiled. "Well, good," Reaching into her bag, the redhead retrieved her notes and opened them on her desk, "so, what did you want to do tonight?"

"Movies, board games and pizza?" Mabel suggested, opening her own binder, which was coated in a generous amount of stickers.

"Sounds good," The redhead beamed, "can't wait."

It was fifteen after three when the bell finally rang.

Students poured out of the classrooms, filling the halls to the breaking point. Not long after, the front doors were thrown open and hundreds of teenagers made their way out into the late afternoon sun.

Anna made a quick trip to her locker, gathered her things and packed them into her backpack, zipping it closed and quickly swinging it over her shoulder. Adjusting the strap, she made her way towards the nearest exit, and hopped down the several steps that lead to the front entrance-way.

"Anna!" Mabel waved, her entire arm thrown high into the air and swaying enthusiastically. By her side, with a book tucked securely under his left arm, stood Mabel's twin brother, Dipper.

The Pines twins were an almost inseparable duo, near always seen together, despite Mabel's upbeat, optimistic demeanor not always matching her brother's sometimes less than high spirited and somewhat aloof conduct. Still, they were devoted. They shared just as many similar tastes and interests as they didn't, and it helped they shared most of their friends in common.

Anna being one of them.

"Hey Mabel, Dipper," The ginger ran to the twins, a wide unabashedly large smile plastered across her face.

"Hey Anna," Dipper smiled, even though he looked exhausted, if the bags under his eyes were any indication.

"Stay up late reading again?" Anna guessed, to which Dipper stifled a yawn with his free hand.

"Not too late," He lied with a casual shrug.

"Goober has been reading about paranormal stuff, again," Mabel sing-songed while lightly prodding her brother's ribs with her index fingers, "busy doing nerd stuff."

Dipper flinched away. "Mabel," He grumbled, "it's research, not nerd stuff."

"Whatever you say, bro-bro," The female twin dismissed with the wave of her hand, "just glad you can't keep me up with your late reading."

"Not that it'd matter," Dipper quipped, "you could sleep through a zombie apocalypse."

"Guys, guys," Anna eased, "let's get going, my mom's probably already in the parking lot."

"Sure," Dipper nodded.

"Okay!" Mabel agreed.

Anna led the twins towards the parking lot, easily spotting her mom and rushing to the car. Opening the front passenger's door, she slipped into the seat and smiled.

"Hey Mama, it's okay for Mabel and Dipper to come over, right?"

Idun quirked a brow, and cast her gaze past her daughter to the brunette duo standing outside the car expectantly. "Of course," She answered slowly, "though a little bit of a head's up would be nice next time."

"Sorry," Anna ducked her head, "I forgot I'd agreed to do something with them." She admitted softly, whispering it to her mother as Mabel and Dipper slid into the backseats and buckled up.

"Hello Mrs. Alstad," Dipper smiled charmingly.

"Nice to you see again." Mabel chimed in, equally as delightful.

If there was one thing Anna admired about the Pines twins, despite their exceedingly strong bond between them, it was just how prepossessing they were, especially together. She mused on something Mabel once told her: twins could sell anything to anyone. And it showed. Mabel and Dipper had the 'charming twins' down to an exact science.

"Hello Dipper, Mabel," Idun smiled, nodding to both Pines while catching their eyes in the rear-view mirror. "I take it we're ordering pizza tonight?"

"Yes, please," Mabel practically bounced in her seat. Idun laughed.

"Alright," She smiled, turning the key and sparking the engine to life, pulling the car out of its parking spot and driving out of the school zone and onto the road.

Within fifteen minutes they were pulling into the driveway, and then to a stop. Anna was first to unbuckle and get out, grabbing her bag and slinging it over her left shoulder.

"You guys want to see my new bunny? She's really cute."

"You have a bunny?" Mabel squeaked, scrambling out of the car, nearly knocking Dipper down as she rushed to Anna.

"Uh, sure," Dipper said, steadying himself and fixing his hat.

"Come on, then," Anna gestured for them to follow, leading them inside and kicking her shoes off. Both Pines removed their shoes as well, and set them aside, before following Anna up the stairs and down the hall. Anna threw her door open, welcoming her guests in, as she moved to where Alva's cage was.

The little rabbit came straight to the door of her cage, eyes on her owner, and then on the two strangers that entered the room behind her. Despite not knowing these strangers, the little auburn coloured rabbit was hungry, and she was ready to demand her pellets.

"Hello Alva," Anna crooned, kneeling down to be at better level with the tiny creature. In response to her owner's greeting, the rabbit nipped at the bars of her cage, then stood at attention on her back feet. Anna giggled and reached to the side of the cage for the container of pellets she kept there, and then proceeded to open the cage.

Alva scooted away from the door, moving to a corner to watch as Anna grabbed her empty food dish and shortly returned it to her full of delicious food.

"There you go, cutie," The redhead smiled, closing the cage as she watched Alva hop over and begin nibbling contently on her dinner.

"She's so cute," Mabel squealed, putting far too much emphasis on the 'so'.

"Yeah, rabbits seem like a much cleaner, quieter and smarter pet than mini pigs." Dipper teased, earning a glare from his sister. He was, of course, taking jabs at Mabel's seven year old miniature pig, Waddles. The swine was known for eating Dipper's homework, though no one ever truly believed these claims.

"I've never had a pet before," Anna said as she stood, brushing her shirt off, "so this is really cool."

"Do you only have Alva?" Mable asked, wriggling a finger between the bars of the auburn rabbit's cage.

"Uh, well, we also had Skadi. But she's in Elsa's room."

"Can we see her too?" Mabel whipped her head around, her eyes round as saucers.

"Maybe," Anna conceded, "I'd need to ask Elsa if it's okay."

"Well I think she's home," Dipper jabbed his thumb out Anna's open door. "I can hear her music from across the hall."

"Yeah," Anna hummed, "she didn't have late classes today."

"Oh, I'm super excited to start university next year," Mabel squashed her cheeks together with her palms, pursing fishy lips at Dipper.

"Yeah," Dipper snorted, "because we're absolutely, one hundred percent mature enough for that."

"I think so, bro-bro," Mabel grinned toothily.

"Obviously," Dipper scoffed.

"I'll see if Elsa's okay with showing us Skadi. She's really cute too, all white with blue eyes." Anna gushed, while walking out of her room and across the hall to Elsa's. She tapped her knuckles against Elsa's door, and she could hear the music turn down and Elsa's computer chair skid a few inches.

"Hold on," The blonde grunted, seemingly struggling to get up while murmuring under her breath. Inside her room, Elsa was scrambling to her feet, despite having Skadi seated quietly on her lap. Taking the recommendation to heart, the blonde had been stroking Skadi's back, twenty-two minutes into her half hour session. "Coming." With Skadi cradled in her one arm, the blonde opened her door, smiling broadly. "Anna, you're home, I'm so happy to—"

"Hey Elsa!" Mabel leapt to Anna's side, grinning impossibly wide.

"—Mabel?" Elsa blinked, then quickly squared her shoulders and forced a smile. "H—Hey, how are you?"

"Great, great," The brunette replied quickly, her eyes gluing on the small animal in the blonde's arms, "oooh—this must be Skadi! She's so cute!" Again, quite a bit of emphasis on the 'so'.

"Uh, thanks," Elsa smiled shyly.

"Kids," Idun called from the kitchen, "what do you guys want on your pizza?"

"Pizza!" Mabel shouted, whirling around and snatching her brother by his arm, dragging him down the stairs.

"Hey—! Mabel!" Dipper squawked, unable to fight as he was dragged away.

"I didn't know you were having friends over tonight," Elsa flicked her eyes to Anna.

"To be honest, I completely forgot I had plans with Mabel," The redhead rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "But I promise it'll just be us tomorrow night, okay?"

"Okay." Elsa replied. Anna pressed a quick kiss to Elsa's cheek before following their friends down the stairs.

"Hmm, well that ruined our plans, didn't it Skadi?" Elsa asked with her eyes down on the rabbit.

Skadi's nose twitched, she blinked, and remained otherwise silent.
