Chapter 30: Three Little Singers

Tori's POV
I gasped, turning towards where I heard the voice come from, shock flowing from my arm to the rest of my body. "L-Lloyd?" he looked at me with his eyes widened. "You really are from another world...Why didn't you tell me who you were?" I looked towards the Guardians, who were all staring.
Casey and Hannah walked over. "Tori?" Casey asked, looking at Lloyd. "Lloyd finally found you?" Hannah said with her normal emotionless face. "What? How?"
"The question you should be asking is, 'why'." Jack said as he flew over. I glared at him. "Be quiet Jack." Tooth and the others came over. "I agree with Jack, why have you been hiding from him? Don't you like him?" Tooth asked.
I frowned. "Of course, but I couldn't let him know," I turned to him. "Not yet."
"Why not?" I suddenly gasped as I saw my parents walking over. "Don't worry," Hannah whispered. "We'll take him to forest, just as planned." I nodded and walked over. "Hey, I'm gonna go home in a few minutes, okay?" my parents nodded. "Okay, but... I won't be coming home." my father said. "Why not?"
"Tori... I have to go back to the army." my eyes widened. "No, not yet, please."
"I'm sorry sweetie..." I closed my eyes, trying not to let anyone see my tears. 'Big girls don't cry...' I thought. I walked out of the building, heading towards the forest.
Casey turned to me, and saw the look on my face. "He's not going..." I nodded, fighting back the tears. She sighed. "Well, he'll come back safely. Now come on Tori. You need to take Lloyd back to Ninjago." I nodded. "Come on Lloyd." I said, running off. Lloyd followed in silence for a few minutes, before asking. "So... What's with you and those other girls? It's like you're father's about to die or something." I scoffed. "He might as well be, the idiotic government decided to send him to war again."
"Again?"
"I'd rather not talk about it." I said, fiddling with my necklace as we approached my house. I held up the dragon to the lock. The mouth glowed green as the door unlocked. "Ho-"
"Weird family." I led him upstairs to my room, turning to look him in the eyes. "Now, it's okay for you to call me Tori, but you will tell no one what you've seen."
"Why not?" I glared at him. "Because I said so." I turned around, swirling my hand as a portal appeared. "See ya Lloyd!" I shouted, shoving him through into the forest. I closed the portal, sighing as I laid down on my bed, falling asleep.
~Tori's Dream, No POV~
Tori sat on a fallen tree, staring at her blue hands. A young girl with long blue hair and glowing green eyes walked over. She looked exactly like Tori, except she was wearing a green t-shirt and black shorts, while Tori wore her dress. "Tori...?" Tori looked up at her sister, eyes filled with tears. "I-I... I hurt him Kira... I hurt my best friend, I didn't mean to, but I did..." Kira placed a hand on her sister's shoulder, and began singing.
Kira: Listen to me dear, It's nothing there to fear, You are close to me, And that was meant to be, It won't hurt you here, Your power's coming clear, This icy storm inside, You only need to hide.
Tori looked at her sister, slightly wagging her tail. "B-but... I can't..."
Kira: It was not your fault, Your powers went out dark, But I am sure with that, Your best friend will forget, He'll be fine again, But it can't stay the same, You have to hide it now, 'Cause Lloyd can not know.
Tori looked down. "But Sissy, I'm scared! I don't know what's happening to me."
"Tori you'll be fine. It's a part of you, and you need to learn to live with it. You can control it."
"No. I can't! I don't even know how and what if I hurt one of you again?"
"No... You won't..."
Kira: Tori I will protect you, I'm right beside you, You will be safe and sound, There won't be harm around, No need to have fear, It makes you special dear, This power's a part of you, We will be going through.
"But everyone thinks I'm a freak! What... What if Lloyd thinks the same thing?" Tori frowned. "Remember, I love you. Just the way you are." Kira smiled as she hugged her sister.
~Real world~
Cindy's POV
Hannah and I stood outside Tori's room, hearing her snore. How where we in her house? She gave us a key. "Should we really wake her up?" I asked. "We have to get ready to go." Hannah replied. I nodded, knocking. We heard a gasp as Tori sat up. She opened the door, her hair in a tangle. I looked at her eyes as mine instantly widened. I quickly placed a hand over my eyes. "Huh? Guys, why won't ya look at me?" she yawned, her mind obviously still confused from her nap. "Tor, your eyes. They're red and purple again." she gasped. "O-okay guys. You can look now."
We lowered our hands to see her eyes squeezed shut, so that she wouldn't harm us. She walked over to her vanity, feeling around. "Gah, where'd my contacts go?!" I picked up her green contacts, gently placing them in her hands. She sighed, gently putting them in. She blinked several times, her eyes quickly changing to green. "Phew." she sighed, I placed a hand on my hip. "Tori, what happened this time?"
She shrugged, walking over towards her closet. "Just another flashback, don't worry about it."
"We should worry about it if simply looking into your eyes could freeze us in fear forever." Hannah said. "Yeah yeah yeah, just choose your outfits already. It's almost time to leave." Tori threw open the doors to her closet. I looked at all the dresses and other outfits Tori had. I grabbed a pink dress that was short in the front and long in the back. It had a white belt that wrapped around my waist. I grabbed some pink heels, quickly putting them on. Hannah grabbed a red shirt and black pants. She grabbed a brown belt that hung off a little on her left side. Tori wore a dress that had a white skirt that gathered around her knees and a green top with sleeves that dropped off her shoulders.
"Time for hair!" I said, as Tori sighed. "Fine. But don't do anything crazy!" I smirked. "No promises~!" I sat Hannah down. She rolled her eyes, as I messed with her red hair. I pulled it back in a pony tail, decorating it with some rose pins I found on Tori's dresser. Speaking of Tori, her multicolored hair was next to be styled. I pulled her hair into a bun, making a little bit of each highlight fall out. I pinned her green bangs to the side. She groaned as she looked into the mirror. "Cass! I told ya not to do anything crazy!" she whined.
I smirked. "I said no promises!" I quickly began doing my own hair, my silver eyes glowing. I pulled my strawberry blonde hair into two ponytails. I stood straight up. "Well let's get going! We have to get our booth set up!"
Haley's POV
Lloyd had come back after chasing the girl Zane had told us about. He said he dropped her off but got lost in the forest. I sensed he was lying, but kept quiet. "Hey, I heard there's gonna be a market in town in about five minutes. Why don't we all go?" Cindy asked.
"Sounds good to me." I said. We all went to get dressed. Nya, of course, wore her favorite dress and black heels. I wore a purple hoodie with a silver shirt and black pants, my feet barefoot as usual. Cindy wore a sky blue shirt with a cloud on the back and her favorite jeans.
Grace wore a dark blue shirt and white shorts. Both of them wore black flats. The boys, besides Lloyd, got dressed in their clothes from when they won the Bladecup. Lloyd threw on a green T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
"We'll stay here with the grownups," Chris said as we all went out on deck. "Have fun." we nodded and ran into town. Stands were set up everywhere, and it seemed everywhere you turned there was something to buy.
"Yo, everybody! Three dollars and we'll sing a song of your choice!" I heard someone shout. I looked over, seeing the girl Zane had described, along with two other girls. "Is that who was on the Bounty?" he nodded.
The girl looked over the crowd, before pointing to a boy with spikey lavender hair that had red at the tips. He had glowing hazel hues and pale skin. He wore a black T-shirt and white shorts, along with black sneakers. "What do ya want us to sing, young man?" she asked, motioning to the girls behind her.
"Automatic by Sssstellar Kart! And I'll throw in an extra dollar if you do the motionsssss!" she turned to the crowd again. "What do you think?" the girl asked. "I think we should do it, Tor." said the one in a pink dress. "Really Cass? What do you think Hannah?" the girl, Tor, asked. "I think we should do it." said the redhead. "Let's go!" Cass cheered as she began playing her base, Tor stepped in front of the mic.
Tor: As sure as the phoenix sunrise, and the Yanks in the playoffs every year!
They threw their left fist over their right arm in a punch, before making swinging their arms in a baseball bat motion.
Hannah: You're absolutely faithful, I'm positively prone to disappear.
They saluted, before covering their eyes with their hands.
Cass: But like I breath, and my heart beats!
They made a breathing motion with their hands, before making a heart beat motion. Tor gripped her guitar, a small smirk on her face.
All three: I wanna love You like it's automatic! Make You into my good habit! You're the only one that really matters!
They all jumped as they continued playing their instruments.
All three: Every minute, every day, it's automatically okay, when I make it all about You!
They all got in a crouching position, tapping their wrists three times to signify time passing. They jumped again, pointing at the sky.
Hannah: It's a mixed up messed up world with,
Tor: An unsatisfaction guarantee
They quickly signed 'world', before making a thumbs down as they frowned.
Cass: So I'm pledging my allegiance, to the one and only one who can set me free!
They placed their right hands over their hearts, before quickly placing their arms together and moving them away, as though breaking chains. I looked over at Cindy, who was dancing along.
Tor: Just like, I breath,
Hannah: And my heart beats!
All three: I wanna love You like, it's automatic! Make You into my good habit! You're the only one, that really matters! Every minute, every day, it's automatically okay, when I make it all about you!
Cass: Well I'm not a robot.
Tor: Made with no thought.
They all did the robot, before placing one finger on each side of their head.
Hannah: What's the point of living life without the will to choose?
Tor: To run with the have-nots?
Cass: Or go with the sure-shots?
They all shrugged, before looking towards their right hand as they shifted that way, and then doing the same with their left hand.
All three: I'm with You!
Tor held her hand out to Cindy, pulling her up on stage.
Tor: I wanna love You like it's automatic.
Cass: Make You into my good habit.
Cindy: You're the only one, that really matters.
They all crouched down, gently pumping their fists as they stood back up. I looked over at Kai, smirking as I saw him stare at Cindy. They stood straight up, jumping. I saw Grace grab Cole's wrist as she jumped up and down.
All four: Love You like it's, automatic! Tired of being so erratic! You're the only one that really matters! Every minute, every day, every minute, every day, it's automatically okay, when I make it all about You!
Tor twirled, winking at the crowd as she grabbed her mic with one hand.
Tor: I'm gonna make it all about You!
She threw her hair out of her face, smirking. "And who are you, young lady?" she asked Cindy. "One, I'm probably older than you, and two, I'm Cindy." she answered, Tor smiled. "Well than, miss Cindy, I say you have a wonderful voice. How would you like to choose the next song for us to sing? Perhaps for a special someone?" Tor smirked, nodding towards Kai. Cindy blushed. "I know," she said after a few minutes. "Could you sing Just A Friend? By Jamie Grace?"
Tor looked at the other girls, before nodding. "Sure thing!" Cindy handed over three dollars then jumped off the stage, walking over to Kai. Tor fixed her guitar, slightly smirking as the girls behind her positioned their mics.
Cass: She saw you in the hallway, with all of your friends.
Hannah: And everything around her moved in slow motion.
Tor: The girls think I'm crazy, I kinda agree. But it's hard to be cool whenever you look at me.
Hannah: And she can be immature when she's lying on the floor.
Cass: Photoshopping you together like she's all yours.
Tor: But you just learned my name and I think that's kinda wack.
Cass: Have you seen her sweet shoes
Hannah: And her new backpack yet?
Tor: Somebody tell me why this hurts so bad, and why can't I find someone like my dad? (I love you dad)
Hannah: Why can't you see what she sees?
Cass: When you say she's just a friend, you tell her she's just a friend.
Tor: I think I could make you happy, but you say I'm just a friend.
Cass: You tell her she's just a friend.
Hannah: So she'll be that, that, that.
Tor: I'll be that, that, that. I guess that's, that, that, that. But I don't wanna be, just that.
Cass: You probably think she's too young, to feel this way.
Hannah: To you she's just a crush that won't go away.
Tor: So even if you move on, and have a happy life, I promise I will pray for you 'cause I'll be doin' fine.
Cass: See she can try to be mature like nothing's really wrong.
Hannah: But you probably know she's faking by the time you hear this song.
Tor: And I don't mind saying how I feel, as long as I stay true and keep it real. Somebody tell me why love takes so long, I think I'll just watch Reba with my mom. (Yeah) Why can't you just see what I see?
Hannah: When you say she's just a friend, you tell her She's just a friend.
Cass: She thinks she could make you happy, but you say she's just a friend.
Tor: You tell me I'm just a friend! So I'll be that, that, that. Oh I'll be that, that, that. I guess that's that!
Hannah: (I dunno baby sis)
Tor: But I don't wanna be.
Cass: (Let me tell you like this) You ain't gotta rush, love girl slow down.
Tor: (Okay)
Hannah: When you meet him you gonna know, wanna know how?
Tor: (How?)
Cass: He gonna treat you right.
Hannah: Make you the queen of life.
CH (Cass and Hannah): If he don't we're gonna take him out.
Tor: (What?)
Hannah: Sike!
Tor: (Hahaha)
Cass: All kiddin' aside, God made the perfect.
Hannah: One that was made for you, designed to worship God, and he sees your beauty and true purpose.
Cass: So baby sis, trust the process, it's worth it.
Tor: So Father I will place this in Your hands.
Hannah: You know her and all her crazy plans.
Tor: Humbly I surrender this to you. So I'll keep dreamin', you'll keep coming through. I know you see what I don't see.
Cass: So she'll be just a friend.
Tor: I know that I will be happy.
Hannah: Even if she's just a friend.
Tor: I'll be just a friend! So yeah that's, that, that, that. (Oh, oh, oh) Oh that's that, that, that. I'll be that, that, that. I'm telling you I'll be just that.
Tor smiled at the crowd, waving to everyone.
That is, except for Lloyd.
Now that I think about it, Lloyd looked a like he had been acting a little weird through out the whole 'concert'. He was staring at the stage, almost as if he was surprised to see these girls. Tor looked at the crowd. "Who wants to choose the next song?" she asked. Cass pointed towards me. "How about you, young lady?" I thought for a moment. "Can you do Skillet's Don't Wake Me?" Cass nodded. "Sure thing ma'am!" Cass waved towards Tor, smiling as she began strumming.
Tor: She want to bed she was thinking about you.
Hannah: Ain't the same since she's livin' without you.
TH (Tor and Hannah): All the memories are getting colder, all the things that she wants to do over.
Cass: I went to bed I was thinkin' about you, I wanna talk and laugh like we used to. When I see you in my dreams at night, it's so real but it's in my mind. And now... I guess... This is as good as it gets! Don't wake me.
Tor: 'Cause she don't wanna leave this dream.
Cass: Don't wake me!
Hannah: 'Cause she never seems to stay asleep, enough!
TH: When it's you she's dreaming of.
Cass: I don't wanna wake up!
Tor: She went to bed she was thinkin' about you.
Hannah: And how it felt when she finally found you.
TH: It's like a movie playin' over in her head. Don't wanna look 'cause she knows how it ends.
Cass: All the words that I said that I wouldn't say, and the promises I made that I wouldn't break. It's last song, last call, last dance, 'cause I can't get you back, can't get a second chance. And now... I guess... This is as good as it gets!
Tor: Don't wake she!
Hannah: 'Cause she don't wanna leave this dream. Don't wake she!
Tor: 'Cause she never seems to sleep enough.
Cass: When it's you I'm dreamin' of, I don't wanna wake up! Don't wake me, we're together just you and me! Don't wake me!
TH: 'Cause you're happy like you used to be.
Cass: I know, I've gotta let you go, but I don't wanna be alone. These dreams of you keep on gettin' stronger.
Tor: It ain't alot but it's all she has.
Hannah: Nothin' to do but keep sleepin' longer.
TH: Don't wanna stop 'cause she wants you back!
Cass: Don't wake me, 'cause I don't wanna leave this dream. Don't wake me, 'cause I never seem to stay asleep enough, when it's you I'm dreamin' of, I don't wanna wake up! Don't wake me.
Tor: You're together just you and she!
Cass: Don't wake me!
Hannah: 'Cause you're happy like you used to be!
TH: She knows, she's gotta let you go! But she don't wanna be alone!
Cass: I went to bed I was thinkin' about you.
TH: ('Cause she don't wanna leave this dream)
Cass: It ain't the same I'm livin' without you!
TH: (Don't wake she)
Cass: 'Cause I never seem to stay asleep enough. I know, I've gotta let you go. I don't wanna wake up...
Cass hung her head slightly as Tor frowned gently. They soon both recovered when a loud beeping was heard. "Uh, well, we gotta get home! So see y'all next time! Uh, bye!" Hannah said as Tor grabbed her and Cass's hands. They, along with everything on their stage, disappeared. Everyone stared at the stage. "Where'd they go?" I asked.
I glanced at Cindy, who was looking at the teen from before. He ran off, something red flashing on his wrist. "Come on Grace! Let's go!" I shouted, as Grace looked away from Cole. She began running after me as Cindy quickly explained to Kai what she saw, "Flashing light, teen that seems to know those girls, be right back." she said before running after us. The guys glanced at each other, before running after us. "Where are we going?!" Zane called after us.
Princess Leia: haha, Lance is gonna get caught.
Boba Fett: You don't know that.
Princess Leia: well, even if I'm not sure, he still will.
Ninjaofmusic: ...Both of you be quiet.
Princess Leia and Boba Fett: NOPE!
