Allen's Pov

God why did Kanda always have to be such a buzzkill. I come here to relax and take a break from all the things Noah related and he just has to come running back yelling his head off about a giant living in the forest. I mean I only left him in there by himself for like ten minutes. I mean I totally wouldn't have left him there if there was even the slightest chance of him dying or anything…

But alas I need to come up with something better. The two Weasley twins might have let it slip that the marvelous Harry Potter had a map that was perfect for pranks. But the question is how to get it from him. I suppose that I could pull a few strings, cause a little mayhem, and distract everyone while I grab it from him. I wonder what else he would have if he has a magical map?

Before I knew it I was interrupted from my train of thought when I was surrounded by all the people that came with me. I guess Bakanda told them about the little something I did, if their disapproving stares were proof enough. He never has learned to keep secrets.

"Hey guys," I offered with an easy smile. "Anything I can do to help you on this lovely morning?"

"Allen stop with the jokes!" Lenalee finally yelled. "Kanda could have died from your stupid prank."

"Oh yes the surly guy with a sword would have been killed by a sixteen foot tall giant. We have faced akuma bigger than that thing."

"How did you know it was a giant?"Lavi burst in. "Better yet how do you know it was sixteen feet tall? I could have sworn it was like at least twenty."

"Lavi be quiet!" She moved quickly towards Lavi while she balled her fist.

Lavi started backing up in time with her. "Oh c'mon Lenalee, take a joke."

"No! We have all almost died way too much for our jokes to have those consequences as well. Why should we face death on a vacation?!"

"Ok chill Lenalee. I am sure that Allen didn't think that Kanda would actually have any chance of dying. Yu is a pretty tough old bird."

"A bit too tough if you ask me," I couldn't help but mumble under my breath.

"You trying to start something beansprout?"

"Oh of course not. It wasn't my intent to send you into the dark, dangerous Forbidden Forest. And I certainly did not just make a snide comment in reference to your super awesome healing ability." Of course the sarcasm was surprisingly apparent and Kanda was starting to make his way towards me.

"No Kanda!" Lenalee screamed at him. "We can't. We are guests here."

"He doesn't seem to give a damn about that." He yelled back.

While they were distracted I figured that it would be a good time to get away. Lavi took notice and followed me a safe distance away, but still within hearing of Lenalee and Kanda's shouting match. It seemed like he could tell something was going to happening soon. And not just Kanda blowing a fuse.

"So…." He trailed off. "What are you doing now?"

"I need to steal an item from Harry Potter." I stated.

"Wow, little buddy, stop right there." He held up his hands as if he expected me to actually stop with just that. I tried not immediately punch him for the short remark. "You can't just steal stuff from these people."

"C'mon, I could use your help." I smiled. "It wouldn't work without your help."

"Huh? Really?" He practically was practically overflowing with happiness. "Well if you really need my help of course I can."

"Great! I knew you wouldn't let me down." I started walking towards the Gryffindor room.

"Hey so what do you need me to do anyway?" Lavi asked.

"Well first I need to get into the room. Then comes the fun part. A distraction."

"Uh...have you completely thought this through?" His face turned a sickly green. I could only imagine what he was thinking.

"Where has thinking ever gotten us?" I chimed out pleasantly.

"Fine, fine. So what do you need me to do exactly?" He tried to specify.

"Do you think you could fake a heart attack?" I cheerfully questioned. "I'm kidding but it would be interesting."

"Yeah, I don't think so…" He finally replied as we neared the painting. "Though I can get you inside the common room. I will think of something so you can make you way back to his room."

"That's all I can ask of you." I said, nodding understandably. The painting asked for the password as I looked on bored. Lavi seemed to have had forgotten it momentarily but he remembered relatively quickly enough. We slowly made our way inside. There was surprisingly a lot of people crowded in there. Perfect for the idea forming in my mind.

"He has a rare virus...bug...thing that has already contaminated the room!" I yelled, before adding on for good measure, "Run for your lives!"

It was funny how people just stared at each other for about ten seconds before fully processing what I had said. Luckily, that seemed to be the time that Lavi got with the program as well. With a quick glare to me, he started to do a horrible sick zombie impression. I watched as people ran out yelling for a medic. I would have been laughing but I couldn't screw this up. I knew I only had one chance. I made sure to see that the golden trio had indeed left the room.

As the last few people started trickling out Lavi made his way over to me. We made our way over the stairs leading up to the boy rooms. He finally remarked on my little stunt. "Was that completely necessary? Now they are going to subject me to a whole bunch of weird stunts. What the hell am I supposed to do then?"

"Shh be quiet. I'm searching." I rummaged through the truck that I believed belonged to Harry. But the hundreds of handmade sweaters was sort of giving me more of a Ron vibe. I stuffed his stuff back as best as I could before noticing the other trunk most likely to belong to Harry. I pried it open and shuffled through the various things. I almost didn't want to believe it when I found a blank thing of paper in the shape of a map.

I stuffed it in my pockets all the same, but to make sure I wasn't being too hasty I kept looking until I found an old blanket thing. It was sort of misty and felt wonderful. I pulled it out after double checking that no one was there besides Lavi. I swung it around my shoulders as I closed my eyes, relishing how cool it felt. I slowly opened my eyes when I heard Lavi curse. I have expected to see that everyone had returned but the direction of his eyes were focused on me. I looked down only to not see anything.

"I am definitely keeping this!"

A/N: Hey yeah sorry long wait. I tried making it longer… Anyway please review. Hope you liked it.
