In light of my most recent discovery, my mind was whirling a mile a minute. Just thinking of all of the pranks I would be able to pull, especially on Kanda, why I was getting dizzy just thinking about it. Of course Lavi and I could hear people starting to file back into the dormitory and by the sound of it, they were being led by their head of house.
Now getting kicked out wasn't that high on my to-do list. Granted it was still there, but mainly just to get kicked out after pulling something awesome. This didn't categorize as such. So I pulled Lavi under the thing with me and off we went. I know he probably could have walked out, seeing as he did belong here, but I wasn't so cruel as to leave him to be poked and prodded at by the hospital wing. Anyway he could still be useful. Not to mention I would need someone willing to come up with a story with me so that Harry wouldn't realize I took some of his stuff.
"Lavi," I started, staring into his face as we crouched awkwardly in a corner of the room as people milled about outside the room.
"Yes Allen?" While his eyes had been previously focused on the doorway out, at the sound of my voice he immediately turned. "Is something wrong?"
"No, just..." I leaned in closer to him as he leaned in as well. "We need a story so they don't have any reason to suspect we were the ones in here."
He moved back again. The previous excitement that I had seen in his eyes gone. "Buddy, you might have wanted to think about that before you obviously sent everyone running out."
"Well then we need to come up with something that would explain that without us being in Harry Potter's room."
Lavi blinked nervously and swallowed quite a few times while staring at me. His mouth seemed to be struggling to find the words to explain his plan. "Ah...well...we could say something like..."
A/N: I know short. Family issues have arrived during the time I have not updated, but I felt like I should at least write a little for you guys. Just sort of a short little interlude thing. Lavi being an idiot, etc. No it will not be the pairing for this story, just seemed like it would be funny to write, so there you go. What story do you think they should decide on?
