Disclaimer: I shall never own either series.

Their walk out of the dormitory was in a way uneventful. Yes there were dozens of times when they almost tripped over one another, and once when they almost knocked over a suspicious box that had 'explosives' crossed off. As well as one instance where they could have sworn this cat was staring right through them. Hell they could even imagine a stern voice admonishing them from the cat's mouth. But it kept going on it's way, following them for about the length of on corridor.

Now as for when they came across Lenalee and Kanda, that was a different story. Allen was more known for his kindness of course, but when alongside Lavi he wasn't necessarily opposed to the idea of sneaking up behind their unsuspecting friends. Especially when he an awesome new thing to showcase. But right as they were about to touch Kanda's shoulder, he turned around as if he heard some horrible enemy.

"Do you hear that?" He said quietly to Lenalee. "More importantly, do you smell that? It seems like something was eating recently."

"Hmm...no...Though it does smell faintly of soba, if you had to give it a name."

"That's what I thought." Kanda ran to a nearby suit of armor, attempting to peak in. "That damn moyashi has to be around here somewhere."

Underneath, Lavi and Allen were having an intense soundless conversation. Lavi sending Allen the general message of, 'what the hell beansprout?! Did you seriously eat the soba that Kanda specifically ordered?' And Allen replying with a quick glare and not-so-small stomp on Lavi's toes saying, 'so sue me. I was hungry and it wasn't like he was there to eat it.' However both of them tensed up when Kanda come up beside them, sniffing the air. The shivering of the invisibility cloak almost looking like that heat haze you see along the horizon of a road on a hot day.

Both Lavi and Allen turned and nodded at each other, this surprise could come at a later point when it was less likely that Kanda would want to kill Allen. Though of course there were very high odds that Kanda would soon come across the fact that Allen had for sure eaten his meal. As they slowly backed up, they nearly hit Professor greasy-hair, who was giving a very distinct stare that spoke volumes about what he thought of Kanda and Lenalee's sanity level for sniffing all over the room.

"Students are required to go to the great hall right now." He sneered. "I should dock ten points from Gryffindor just for you not even being remotely close to a route that would take you there. Take care to make sure your friends are there as well."

With that he turned and with his cloak blowing behind him from some mysterious wind, he vanished into another room, managing to almost look look. It was enough to send Allen into a fit of giggles, that quite quickly morphed into full blown laughter. Lenalee and Kanda looked all around for the source of the sound, while Lavi tried to block Allen's mouth with his free hand but it didn't help. Slowly a grin formed across Kanda's face, to the horror of Lavi, as he locked into the location of the two boys. He stalked across the room, pulling the wand he had been gifted with out. He held it out in front of him, grinning when he felt it hit soft flesh in the middle of nowhere.

"Looks like we have some soon to be ghosts here. Thankfully they are invisible already, so we don't have to worry about blood splatter that anyone can see."

"C'mon Kanda, you can't hit me when you can see me. What makes you think this is going to be any easier?" Allen stupidly remarked between giggles.

"Oh I don't know. Maybe because I already have my arm around someone's arm." Kanda happily said.

"Oh shit." Lavi groaned.
