The FBI agents started at the sight of the woman who had just entered the room. They instantly recognized her.
Her name was Emily Prentiss.
"Emily?"
JJ recovered her composure first.
"Hello again," Prentiss said bluntly.
"It's nice to see you again, Emily," JJ said. "I thought you were working for INTERPOL."
"I was. I was recruited back into the CIA as Lauren Reynolds shortly after. This room is secure, so you can call me Emily, but anywhere else, call me Agent 66. That's my designation."
"Okay, Emily."
The always cheerful Penelope Garcia stood up and walked over to Prentiss. She gave the former FBI agent a hug.
"We've missed you, Emily."
Prentiss patted Garcia's back.
"It's nice to see you again, Garcia. Now, I know you're happy to see me, but can we please get down to business? We might have time after the mission for reunions."
"Okay, Emily."
"So, as you know, I'm working for the CIA as Lauren Reynolds. 12 hours ago, an Army convoy was attacked and captured. There were no survivors."
"What does that have to do with us?"
"Well, the terrorist cell, the Black Hand, who raided it, stole the cargo, which was a pair of nuclear missiles with an approximate payload of 6 kilotonnes. I've been assigned to this case and I was told to pick my team. And because of my history with the FBI and the BAU, I thought who better to ask for help than my old teammates, right?"
"That makes sense," JJ said.
"Now, we managed to capture a member of the cell."
"Give me a crack at him," Derek said.
"Alright, Morgan. The interrogation room is the second door on the right down the hall."
He went to the interrogation room and entered.
