Disclaimer: I own neither series. Enough said.

It was rather sad how quickly the cloak was pulled away to reveal Lavi. There one second and then the faint sound of footsteps eerily moving away from the group of somewhat friends. But of course it hadn't been quite so simple, a hand had been wrapped around Lavi's arm after all and Kanda's death grip can be pretty hard to get out of.

That's why before Allen made his escape, he made the snap decision to kick Kanda in the shin to loosen his grip. However it only made it tighter and made for a more pissed off Bakanda. Alas Allen never was one to give up so quickly, and perhaps that would one day be his downfall but this was not that day. He gave Kanda as strong as a push as he could and ran like the wind as soon as it was apparent that there was no danger of revealing his location. Lavi wasn't as lucky unfortunately, but they don't call him bait for nothing.

"Hey...Kanda...Lenalee you mind helping me out here?" Lavi all but whimpered. He stood stark still for one seemingly long moment before Kanda burst into action to grab him once more.

"As much as I would prefer to beat up that cursed brat, I suppose you will do just as fine in the meantime." He gave a sinister smile.

"Bu-bu-but I can help you get Allen. I have an idea of where he is going, and at the very least we can just wait it out in the kitchen and he will eventually show up." He pleaded, with only a small hint of remorse for offering up his friend but it was mostly covered by the overwhelming urge to survive.

Kanda seemed to think it over for a brief moment and Lenalee had nothing better to offer, so basically it seemed to be up to him. "I suppose that will work, but keep in mind that if we don't get him then it's your ass on the line."

"Right, right. Loud and clear. Completely." Lavi slowly slid his arm out of reach from Kanda. "Anyways our friend had enlisted me to help him get something from the famous Harry Potter and-"

"What? Did you guys steal something from him? Lavi you should know better!" Lenalee and all the others tried not to think of the implication that left on Allen.

"He's persuasive, okay? It's not like he would keep it forever, he is too kind for that." He shook his head in effort to rid himself of any doubt to the matter. "Anyways he took this cloak thing that, as you can see, hides you from view. And he got something else if I remember correctly, but I couldn't see it. Everything came from Harry's trunk though, so I think we just need to keep watch over Harry and see if he mentions anything he's lost. Once we determine what Allen took we can figure out his plan from there. Easy."

Lenalee and Kanda stared at Lavi. "That requires way too much time, Lavi."

"But Lenalee, it's that or standing between Allen and his food. I don't exactly relish that idea."

"Ok fine, but how the hell are we supposed to get close to that brat and his posse."

"Leave it to me, Yu. I just gotta work my magic. I'm pretty good with the ladies, if I do say so myself, and Harry's friend should be no exception."

"You are going to get beat up." Lenalee said as she shook her head. "No way around it now."

"Aww thanks for the vote of confidence. I suppose we could just stalk him and his friends and figure it out that way." They looked at each other before nodding, it certainly seemed like the wisest solution.

Soon enough they were following the golden trio to each of the classes. It was quite comical for all those watching, except for the ones being followed of course. Harry had the faintest of fears that they could be working for Voldemort. Hermione was annoyed because Harry and Ron were both complaining about them. And Ron was scared that Hermione might take notice of the silent one cause of her previous relationship with Viktor Krum.

Still though, the exorcists followed them about their day and took no notice that their cover had only existed inside their minds from the beginning. What they didn't realize though was that Allen had been following them since he overheard the plan when he had barely begun to run away. He only stopped for around half a dozen trips to see Dobby, and when the day grew to a close and he had to make his way back to his own dormitory. He wasn't too keen on the idea of having to hole up somewhere other than the much nicer bed that was provided in his room here.

While he regretted not being able to see whatever antics his friends would come up with when inclosed in a space with the trio, Allen felt the time had come to see about potentially talking with the leader of this fine school. The only issue would be how to 'accidently' run into him, and thus far he still hadn't figured out how to work the damn parchment paper that was supposedly an excellent map of the school, or so he had heard from the Weasley twins. A short trip to their little business would be in order first then.

A/N: No idea how many people are still following this story, but I felt in the mood to write something and decided upon this one. Hope you enjoyed and please let me know if this felt like it had a more serious tone. For some reason I feel it came across that way. Anyways review please.
