Chapter 30

Tom got out the shower to find Sam blow drying her hair still wrapped up in her towel. He went up to Sam and scared her by pulling her into a hug and making her towel fall down. Sam squealed at Tom doing this and then composed herself.

"Tom, we haven't got time, we are meeting my family in just over an hour and we both need to get ready." Sam said.

Tom pouted to this "You're so gorgeous though I can't resist." Tom said.

"Well you're going to have to" Sam said as she picked her towel up and went and turned the hair dryer on.

Tom sighed and went and got ready, he dried himself and then looked through his cupboard and put a nice pair of ¾ length jeans on with a shirt. Sam finished blow-drying her hair before going to her wardrobe and deciding what to wear. She decided on a nice flowy purple summer dress that had its own pattern on. She was still being careful about covering up, so she got a thin shrug to put on top of her dress to wear while they were outside. Sam then finished her hair and put some makeup on. She then put some jewellery on.

Tom pulled her into a hug once she was dressed and told her that she looked gorgeous before kissing her passionately. Sam kissed him back passionately. They then left as Sam grabbed her handbag.

"Darling let me drive tonight so you can drink, I'm still not drinking" Sam said.

"You sure, we can always get a cab." Tom said.

"I am sure, I want to be careful after how ill I was." Sam said.

Tom nodded and they made their way to the car.

Sam got in the driver's seat while Tom got in the passenger seat.

They put the radio on while they drove to the restaurant.

They arrived at the restaurant and found a parking space. Shelly and Rob pulled into the car park at the same time. This caused them all to laugh and say hi as they got out the car and hugged each other. They then walked into the restaurant where they told the person at the door they had a reservation under Sam Kent.

They were shown to their table and started looking at the menu while they were waiting for Keeley and Ben.

They ordered there drinks while they waited for the other two. Tom and Rob ordered a beer while Sam and Shelly ordered fresh lemonade each. Soon Keeley and Ben arrived saying there hellos and apologising for their lateness but explained that Jessica being a bit upset so they wanted to settle her for bed before leaving as it wasn't fair on Ben's parents. Everyone understood. They then looked at the menu and ordered there food and drinks for Ben and Keeley. Once the meals were ordered they were all chatting at the table. Soon the food came in and it was mainly quite as everyone dug into their food, with the occasional person talking. Everyone found their food delicious. Soon everyone was finished and they were chatting again.

"I can't believe my daughter and son-in-law head back to the UK tomorrow." Shelly said sadly.

"I know mum, but we both have jobs to get back to." Sam said smiling but with a bit of sadness that their honeymoon was ending and they had to go back to reality.

"I know Sammy, but I have just reconnected with my daughter after all these years." Shelly said.

"I know mum, I'm so pleased to have you all back in my life, and you still will be back in our lives, there are so many ways to communicate these days phone, skype and facebook." Sam replied.

Shelly nodded "I know darling Keeley you will have to teach me how to use skype and facebook, but it just won't be the same as you being here."

"I know but at least we will be back in contact and you better come and see us in the UK." Sam said.

"You try stopping us" Rob said.

"Keeley and Ben that also means you and the kids always welcome to visit us to" Sam said.

"Thanks would be amazing to come back home, just really annoying they stump up the cost during the holidays" Keeley replied.

Everyone sighed at that "They do that to try and make more money as they know families have to go away then, as you can't take them out of term time but would be amazing." Rob said.

Just while they were talking someone came to take there dessert orders.

Soon the talk turned to Sam and Tom's new jobs. Everyone was pleased for them, and shocked that they got the offers while they were on holiday. They ordered drinks to celebrate this. Sam had one as it wouldn't hurt having one. The evening went quick, they had fun. Shelly also managed to ask Sam how long it is before they have kids. Sam told her that they wanted to enjoy married life a bit before having kids and also wanted to be in stable jobs. As good as their locum jobs were they didn't know how long it was going to be. Before saying their goodbyes, Sam and Keeley along with their husbands discussed where they were meeting up the next day, so Sam could say bye to her nieces and nephews. At first Keeley suggested going to one of the parks.

Once they had decided where to go the next day, they all said bye they all went to their cars and drove of on their separate ways. Sam and Tom saw Emily and Adam as they got back to the hotel so decided to go and chat with them for a bit. They went to the hotel bar, Sam kept to soft drinks while the others had alcoholic drinks. Soon Tom was a bit drunk and feeling a bit horny but he didn't show it to everyone but Sam knew it. They soon said their byes and swapped numbers and emails saying to keep in touch.

Once up in the bedroom Tom pushed Sam on the bed and kissed her. Sam kissed back. Tom ripped Sam's top of and cupped her boobs and massaged them. Things got heated properly and they had sex, before cuddling up afterwards and falling asleep naked in each other's arms.
