Authors thoughts
Now understand it was just as hard writing and deciding this decisions for the final part of my season 1. The Molly death was mostly the what if she had came along if not Doug for I still wanted elements that happen in the episodes to come into play in my story but with different characters. I debated on whatever killing her off now or in between the gap of season 2 but I decided to go with now because I don't think you would had saw it coming. Why I save the save most of the deaths to happen at this point is to start planting the seeds for Lee in season 2 for the moment of losing Molly, Kendell, Lilly, and Clementine this will make Lee rethink some things as far as taking on the leadership role and the way he handle things because he will have to deal with the pain of losses that he has suffer from.
As far as Clem goes from what I recall, I don't think theres a lot of stories on here that the author had done what I did, well at least not at this part of the story. The decision came about due to the fact that when I begin planning this story, I already had decide that for my season 2 Lee would be the main character instead of Clem but I had to give it a different feel unlike other stories on the site. As you can see, my Lee was for the most part was not the one who is quick to kill for he still tries to keep his humanity and only kill if need to. The main reason he has kept that humanity at this point was mostly because of Clementine, so now that she's no longer in the picture we will most likely see a new Lee in my season 2. As far as how much Lee will change or will he somehow mange to keep his humanity well that remains to be seen especially since he lost more then Clem now under his watch.
Did you guys expect that ending though? Well like I said on the last chapter that things will be different from here on out. My overall thoughts of my season 1 version I enjoy writing it for it explore the possibility of Lee and Lilly romance for if Lilly never shot Carley or Doug (and you chose to side with her most of the time) she's not really as bad then what most people think. Not that I don't ship Lee/Carley but I always figure if both Doug and Carley survive episode one then they probably would of end up together. Again it was really hard to write and decide to kill off Clem and others but lets be real, my story before this point seem too happy go lucky until now.
Now as far as plans for my season 2: I'm no longer doing just Lee's p.o.v for at times it was pretty hard writing only what Lee was thinking so it will be a general p.o.v. Also I'm not writing 400 days chapters but I will feature the characters in the future. (can't said more on that)
Lastly before I wrap things up did you all enjoy my season 1 and the choices I would pick. How do you feel about my first ever O.C Kendell? Thoughts on the death of Clementine and Molly? What do you think will happen in my season 2?
