"Ugh Spencer! It hurts so bad!" Teddy said digging her nails into her bedsheets. She has been in labor or 10 hours now and she was only 4 centimeters dilated.

"I know Babe, but-"

"You know? How do you know what this feels like? How do you know what it's like to push two freakin babies out of you Spencer? How do you know!" Teddy yelled.

Spencer knew she was a bit crazed especially knowing that one of their babies were in danger. "I'm sorry Honey, I really don't know how it feels and I bet I couldn't even go through this."

"No you couldn't." Teddy laughed.

"Anyway. Teddy you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. Your a tough relentless girl and I know that you will bring two beautiful babies into this world."

"Teddy! Glad to be seeing you're doing pretty good!" Dr. Smith said entering the room.

"Can I..." Teddy stopped and breathed in and out because of a contraction, "can I get the epidural yet?" Teddy asked, slowly.

"Let's check that out for you." The doctor checked her vagina and looked up. "Well Teddy, lucky you, you can get the epidural! I'll send in a nurse to give you the needle." With that the doctor exited the room. "Oh! I almost forgot. Your about 8 centimeters now but with your rate, you might have the babies 4 hours or so from now."

"Ugh, I can't believe I have to wait this much longer. I was really hoping for 2 hours or so." Teddy groaned.

"Teddy at least your getting the epidural, you'll be fine." Spencer replied.

"Spence, I was meaning to ask you..." Teddy was cut off with the phone ringing.

"Hold in Teds, my mom's calling." Spencer said picking up his phone. "Hey Mom!"

"Spencer..." Linda Walsh cried into the phone.

"Mom? What's wrong? Is everything okay?" Spencer asked worried.

"Spencer, your dad...he, he died." Linda sobbed out. Spencer felt his knees buckle not even noticing when he fell to his knees.

"Spencer? What's wrong?" Teddy asked half worried half concerned.

"Yah mom I'll try to come home, Teddy's in labor but she has like four more hours so I can try to come home. See you soon, bye." Spencer hung up.

"Spencer honey? What's wrong?" Teddy asked ignoring the pressure and pain of her contractions and focusing in her husband. "Talk to me baby."

"Teddy, my dad, he died." Spencer chocked out before going into tears. "I was never there! I was the worst son, getting his girlfriend pregnant at 17, not bonding with his dad. It's all my fault he died!"

"How is it your fault? You didn't give him Cancer! You also weren't a terrible son! Spencer just go and see your mom." Teddy scolded.

"What about you and the babies?" Spencer asked.

"We'll be fine! We got four more hours together so you have about 3 hours to go to your mom. I'll be fine here."

"Okay babe, I love you." Spencer said getting up.

"Love you too Spencer." Teddy replied. After Spencer left Teddy fell asleep for the next two hours and woke up with a nurse tapping in her shoulder.

"Huh, huh? What?" Teddy woke up quickly.

"Sorry to wake you Mrs. Walsh but the doctor would like to check how many centimeters your dilated." The nurse explained.

"Oh okay." Teddy spread apart her legs as the doctor checked.

"Well Teddy, it looks like it's time! Angela, can you prep Teddy because she should be having these babies in less than 30 minutes." Dr. Smith stated.

"Wait hold up!" Teddy was wide awake now. "My husband isn't here, is there any chance that we could wait till he gets here?"

"Teddy, your blood pressure is still rising, we have to get these babies out or you and the babies could die. Angela, prep her." Dr. Smith said walking out of the room.

Nurse Angela looked at Teddy's blunt expression. "You can call your husband then I will Prep you, Dr. Smith can be kind of a jerk sometimes."

"Thanks." Teddy took out her phone and called Spencer. He didn't pick it up until the last ring.

"Teddy?"

"Hey Spencer, the babies are coming in less than 30 minutes, so you need to get to the hospital now."

Spencer was hesitant at first but decided what was best. "I'll be there babe in 10."

"Love you Spencer!" Spencer hung up before he could here his wife say those words to him, maybe for the last time...
