Hello, O' Fans of Mine! It's time for another episode of Total Drama High Seas! After this, we've only got six chapters left before we wrap this thing up. Let's try and reach 200 reviews by then, alright? Anyways, let's respond to some reviews right now!

Guest: Throw them overboard? I have something better in mind when (Yes, I said when) they get busted!

Total Drama Nerd: No. It was mentioned in the last chapter that Courtney was grossed out by the task of curing Tyler's bleeding, worrying that if she touched the blood, she could potentially get AIDS.

Me: Hey, he's gotta go sometime!

Guest: Whoa! This is a T-rated story. Let's keep reviews PG-13.

Hugh Takinamee: Courtney or Noah eh? I can work with that...

The Abysswalker: Read Ted's official profile on Deviant Art. What he did isn't exactly OOC (I'd know. I invented him). Also, yeah, that was a pretty bad double-entendre...

MisterParadox: Whoa! That's a pretty long review! I guarantee I read it all. Thanks for those compliments. As for Noah, being sinister isn't improbable for him. He is a genius, so it's only natural that he schemes a little. He's not the main villain, though. That role belongs to the Topher and Amy duo.

Link to my DA account is on my profile page. I'm putting out all my artwork of characters for my new story there!

Now, on with the show!

Last time on Total Drama High Seas: The game became a free-for all as the contestants had to team up to advertise a product that, in hindsight, probably should've been done by professionals, but, I need to save the money to get my gallery reconstructed!

Anyways, Samey took charge on the project, to everyone's surprise. Ted actually stuck up for another person, to everyone's surprise. And apparently, Amy and Topher from last season are hiding out on the ship

Anyways, Dave got eliminated for his obnoxious Facebook posts, and Rodney was disqualified from the competition after destroying the century's greatest works of art in my gallery. I'm still a little pissed off about that, Rodney!

Who's going to be one step closer to the million? Who's going to be one step closer to home? Find out on Total! Drama! HIGH SEAS!

Chapter 15: The Screams of the Teens!

It was dark. Noah couldn't see a thing. He felt his face on something else. It was soft and comfortable. He squinted open his eyes...and let out a scream.

He was sleeping on Lindsay.

The blonde remained asleep, occasionally giggling and twitching in her state of suspended animation.

The lights suddenly turned on and alarms started blaring. Lindsay woke with a start, screaming and flailing her arms around, continually battering Noah around.

"Oops," Lindsay blushed, "Sorry, Noland."

"It's Noah," Noah sighed.

The two were in a room with a door at the far end. They walked toward the door, only hoping that this wasn't another challenge.

MEANWHILE, IN ANOTHER ROOM:

Ezekiel was fast asleep, with a protective arm around Bridgette, who was also sleeping.

The same thing happened. Alarms started blaring.

The two awoke with a start, both noticing the awkward position they were in and giggling and blushing.

"Uh...sorry, eh?" Ezekiel said.

"Uh...yeah," Bridgette responded.

The two noticed that they were in a room similar to the one Lindsay and Noah were in (They didn't know about Lindsay and Noah, however).

"Uh, you think we should go toward that door?" Ezekiel asked Bridgette.

"Uh...uh...yeah," Bridgette said, still half asleep.

IN ANOTHER ROOM NOT FAR AWAY:

Brick was laying down. Despite being in the military, he was quite the heavy sleeper. Courtney unknowingly snuggled up next to him, using the soldier for warmth.

Can you guess what happened? Yep. Alarms started blaring.

Courtney woke up noticing who she was snuggled up next to and slapped the cadet out of instinct. This was enough to wake Brick.

"Reporting for duty, sir!" he instinctively shouted, noticing Courtney standing next to him, "Oh, it's you."

"I'm not too thrilled about being locked in a room with you, either," Courtney retorted.

"We're not locked in here," Brick told Courtney, "There's a door right there," he pointed to the door at the far end of the room.

The three rooms emptied out into one big, circular room with big speakers in it.

"Hello, contestants!" Chris's voice boomed over the speaker, "How'd you like that wake up call?"

The six aforementioned contestants groaned.

"Fine! Kill my fun!" Chris said, "Hey, I think we're two short!"

It was true. Sammy and Tyler were both sprawled out in comfortable slumber, despite the alarms.

"They're really heavy sleepers," Chris noticed, "Chef, could you throw them into the circle room, please?"

In about five minutes, Sammy and Tyler were both thrown into the circular room, still fast asleep.

"Anyway," Chris said over the speakers, "Today's challenge is a little bit personal. I've designed four separate gauntlets for each pair to go through. You remember the person who was in your room when you woke up? That person will be your teammate."

The contestants exchanged glances.

"I know, right?" Chris sneered, "I put a lot of thought into those teams! The genius Noah with the blonde Lindsay, By-the-book Brick is with cutthroat Courtney, sexist Ezekiel and one of the girls he offended and...the other two."

Those other two (Sammy and Tyler) were still snoozing away.

"Anyways, your challenges will each be divided into three parts. In part one, teammate A will be up against his greatest fear. In part two, teammate B will be against her greatest fear, and in part three, you'll work together to overcome a terrifying challenge!"

"So the team that completes their gauntlet first gets immunity?" Noah asked.

"No. Any team that finishes gets immunity! If you're too chicken to move on, just press the button I've clipped to your clothes.

The contestants, still in their sleepwear, looked to find a red button clipped to them.

"You're seriously bordering copyright violation here!" Noah quipped, "Don't you have any original ideas?"

"Nope!" Chris's voice remarked, "Now, follow the arrows with your names on them to the stairs that go down to the dungeon, where your first challenge awaits!"

"Oh, and Sammy, for winning last night's contest, you only have to do the first two challenges! So Tyler, thank her for that, dude!"

Sammy woke up, "Wait. What's going on?" she gurgled.

"I don't know," Tyler said, also half-asleep.

"Just follow the arrows with your and Tyler's names on them," Chris grumbled.

BRICK & COURTNEY

Brick walked down the stairs to the gauntlet that awaited him.

"Courtney," he said, "We need to work together if we want to win this. You don't force me to face my fears and I won't force you to face yours."

"Whatever," Courtney responded.

"I mean it," Brick said menacingly, "If we fail this, you will be voted off. I guarantee it."

"Ok, ok, I won't be a jerk."

"Good!" Brick said.

The stairs descended deep into a cavern. It was pitch black.

Brick gulped. He wasn't too keen in the dark.

"Brick, Courtney," Chris's voice sounded, "All you have to do is find your way around this maze. It's really dark, so watch out!"

"I...I can't see!" Brick screamed.

Courtney slapped him across the face, "Get it together! We got this!"

Brick took a deep breath, "Yeah, we got this."

The two heard an echoing noise.

"Just don't pay attention to it," Courtney said, "It's probably just Chris trying to scare us."

"Um...yeah...don't pay attention," Brick said back, "Yeah, just, stay calm."

An earsplitting scream rattled across the room.

"What was that?" Brick started to panic.

"Nothing," Courtney said, "Chris is just trying to scare you!"

"Right," Brick said, "He's just trying to scare me."

The two continued through the dark, winding passages.

More strange noises echoed throughout the room.

Brick was in full panic mode. "Come on, Courtney, how are you not scared. It's dark and there are noises and it's dark!"

Courtney slapped Brick across the face again, "You're going to make it. Let's go!"

The two moved on. They found the exit and left the dark room.

TYLER & SAMMY

Tyler and Sammy walked down the stairs, both still dazed and half-asleep.

"So," Sammy asked, "What do you think is going to be in this room?"

"I don't know," Tyler said, shaking his head.

They finished climbing down the stairs and entered a wide room strewn with hay, with many chickens strolling around.

"Sammy, Tyler," Chris's voice announced, "For your first challenge, you will have to unlock that door on the far end of the room. The door will only unlock if six chicken eggs are placed in the receptacle next to it. You must take those eggs from the chickens."

Tyler was panicking, "I can't do this man! This is too scary!"

"Come on," Sammy said, "We're going to do this!"

"No! I...it's chickens!"

"Just stay where you are. I'll go get those eggs."

As it turned out, taking eggs from chickens was quite difficult.

"Hey, there, buddy," Sammy said to a chicken fervently guarding its egg, "Can I just take that from you for a teensy second?" Sammy slowly reached for the egg as the angry chicken started pecking her.

"Ouch! Ow! Quit it you little jerk!" Sammy tried to run away, but the angry chicken was relentless. "Ouch! Tyler, get the egg! Ouch!" Sammy shrieked in pain.

Tyler took a deep breath and dove into the nest to grab the egg and placed it into the container. He could do this. He ran around the room grabbing more eggs. He placed five more in the bin and he heard a click. The door had unlocked!

"Come on, Sammy, We're done!" Tyler yelled at his teammate.

The chicken continued to chase and peck at Sammy.

"OK! I'm coming!" Sammy swatted down her feathered assailant.

NOAH & LINDSAY

"And then I was like OMG! And then he said, oh no you didn't and then I said, oh yes I did! And then..."

"Lindsay, shut up," Noah said.

"Aww, what's wrong?" Lindsay asked innocently, "Why are you always so grumpy?"

"Because I'm forced to be on a team with a person who's about as intelligent as a rock!"

"No," Lindsay remarked, "That's not true. I can be smart!" Lindsay took out a pair of glasses, "See! Look how smart I am!"

"Yeah, glasses totally make you smarter," Noah rolled his eyes.

"Four spores and seven years ago," Lindsay began.

"Please stop talking," Noah demanded.

Lindsay pouted.

The two teammates reached the end of the stairs. They entered a room that looked very much like a high school gymnasium with two basketball hoops at either end.

Chris's voice announced over the speakers, "Time for the bookworm to face his biggest fear: playing sports! All you have to do is shoot a basket!"

"Is that all?" Noah asked.

"Oh, no, no, no!" Chris replied, "You have to shoot a basket while Lightning is guarding!"

Noah's eyes shrank in shock, "Oh. crap."

Just then, Lightning came charging into the room, donning his signature blue jersey and dribbling a basketball.

"You sha-ready, bookworm?" Lightning challenged.

Noah rolled up his sleeves, "Yes. Yes I am!"

Lightning dribbled circles around Noah just to show off. "You ain't never gonna shoot on me! I'm the best!"

Noah tried to reach in and grab the ball away.

"Nuh-uh-uh!" Lightning said, "That's a reach-in! That's a foul, dude!"

Noah growled, actually getting psyched. He tried to get the ball from Lightning, but the jock was just too fast.

"Hah!" Lightning cackled, "How you gonna beat me?"

"Lindsay, a little help?" Noah asked his teammate who was standing on the sidelines.

"Um," Lindsay started and then started jumping up and down, "Noel, Noel, he's our man...um..."

"Not like that!" Noah scolded.

Lindsay's voice managed to catch Lightning's attention.

"Damn!" He said in a not-so-subtle way, "That girl's even prettier in real life!"

Lindsay scowled, "I have a boyfriend!" but Lightning continued to ogle.

Noah seized the chance. Lightning dropped the basketball. Noah grabbed it away and ran it up the court and threw it up. The ball swirled around and around the rim and finally went in.

"Yes!" Noah cheered.

"No!" Lightning screamed.

"Thank you Lindsay!" Noah hugged his partner.

Lindsay returned the hug, but she didn't quite understand what had just gone down. The two exited the room, Lindsay still looking confused.

EZEKIEL & BRIDGETTE

The two didn't talk much on their way down the stairs into the dungeon. They were both terrified of what they might find.

Surely Chris didn't know Ezekiel's biggest fear. He was never around to announce it. He hoped that he picked something else...anything, but all hope left him when he saw what awaited him in the next room.

Inside the room was a huge tank full of water. In the water, a giant octopus wrapped its tentacle around a key.

"Ezekiel," Chris's voice announced, "I heard you read some H.P. Lovercraft as a kid. His book, Rise of Cthulu scarred you as a little kid, right?[1]"

Ezekiel nodded his head, though shocked with fear.

"And as a result, you've developed a healthy fear of octopi. Am I correct?"

Ezekiel nodded, still petrified.

"Well," Chris's voice said, "You're challenge is to retrieve that key, in that giant octopus's tentacle to unlock the door at the far end and continue the challenge. Good luck!"

"Oh, God," Ezekiel stammered.

"Come on," Bridgette said, "You can do it!"

"No, I can't!" Ezekiel cried.

"Don't talk like that!" Bridgette demanded, "Octopi aren't typically dangerous. You can probably just grab that key without him even noticing."

"Um..." Ezekiel stuttered, trying to control himself. Just looking at the giant octopus gave him the creeps.

"It'd be good for you to face your fear," Bridgette told Ezekiel, "Then you'll triumph over a personal weakness."

"But...I don't think I can. He's staring at me, eh?"

Bridgette sighed, "If you really don't want to do it, I'll get it for you."

"Thank you so much. I'm so sorry," Ezekiel hugged Bridgette.

Bridgette smiled and returned the hug.

CONFESSIONAL: BRIDGETTE

"I didn't get to talk much to Ezekiel during this season, but from what I saw, he's a different person now. Maybe he's finally grown up."

CONFESSIONAL: EZEKIEL

"Learning to reintegrate into human society was a humbling experience for me. I realized that things I say sometimes have consequences, eh?"

END CONFESSIONALS

Bridgette took a deep breath and jumped into the tank. She grabbed the octopus's tentacle that was grasping the key and gently unwrapped it. She then managed to pry the key off of the suction cups. Then she paddled up to the surface.

"Good job!" Ezekiel smiled at Bridgette, "And, seriously, thanks. I'll help you with the next room."

"Thanks," Bridgette responded, smiling at Ezekiel.

What the duo found in the next room managed to freak Bridgette. The room was dimly lit, with a bunch of randomly placed trees. It seemed as if there was a forest inside the room. To add to the atmosphere, animal noises could be heard, from the howling of the wolf to the hooting of the owl.

Bridgette's eyes grew wide. She knew that she wasn't in a forest, but her adrenaline acted up. She clung to Ezekiel.

"It's ok," Ezekiel assured her, "We're here together. I won't let anything happen to you."

Bridgette smiled, but still trembled with fear.

"Come on, let's go," Ezekiel said, "It won't help things to just stand here."

Ezekiel and Bridgette slowly walked through the forest-like room. He had to give Chris credit: the room looked just like the forest. There was even a sky dome above with stars.

"I...I'm scared," Bridgette said, "I don't know if I can make it."

"Of course you can," Ezekiel said, "You're one of the bravest girls, no one of the bravest people I know."

"Thanks," Bridgette responded.

"Oh, and one more thing," Ezekiel said.

"Yes?"

"I...I'm sorry. I acted like a total jerk to you guys. I just wish I could apologize to everybody."

"It's ok," Bridgette said, "I forgive you."

"Thanks, eh."

The rest of the walk was uneventful. As Bridgette and Ezekiel walked, the surfer girl's nerves began to ease. She realized that she wasn't alone anymore. She was with somebody who cared. The two reached the door to the next room.

NOAH & LINDSAY

"Welcome to the next challenge!" Chris's voice announced. The door is at the end of this minefield, and you have to walk across it...in heels!"

Noah and Lindsay exchanged nervous looks.

"Do I have to wear heels, too?" Noah asked.

"Yes!"

"You're the worst McLean!" Noah yelled at the speaker.

"Aw! Don't flatter me!"

"Alright, Noel!" Lindsay cooed at the bookworm, "I'm gonna do this!" Lindsay danced across the minefield without so much as exploding one of the mines.

"Aw, come on!" Chris whined, "No pain? This sucks!"

Noah walked across the minefield, carefully putting one foot in front of the other. BOOM! Noah was hit from a mine. He was blown into the air and fell onto another mine and was blown into another mine that blew him directly in front of the door.

Noah's limp body was incapable of movement. He only managed to let out an "Ow!"

"Better!" Chris yelled.

"OMG!" Lindsay shrieked, "Are you alright, Noel?"

"I'm Noah!" the brain scolded.

"Oops, sorry," Lindsay replied.

"Yes. I'm fine," Noah brushed himself off, "Luckily Chris didn't use mines that could cause actual harm."

"Yeah," Chris said, "The network wouldn't let us use the ones that could blow off your body parts.

"Real generous," Noah rolled his eyes as the two walked into the next room.

TYLER & SAMMY

Tyler and Sammy walked into the next room. Tyler had just succeeded in facing his fear. Now it was time for Sammy to face hers.

"The exit is almost here," Chris's voice said, "All you have to do is get the key to the next room, but it's guarded by a huge green anaconda!"

"How did you know I was scared of snakes?" Sammy asked.

"I have my sources," Chris said cryptically, "Anyway, the key is buried in the anaconda's coils. You'll have to reach in and grab the key. And beware! Anacondas have been known to eat people!"

"I...I don't know if I can do this...are anacondas poisonous?"

"I don't know," Tyler said.

"Well," Sammy said, "If you faced your fear, I guess I can face mine."

Sammy stepped up to the big green snake. The anaconda flicked its tongue out and tasted the air. It seemed uninterested. Sammy put her hand into the snake's tight coils, trying to fish for the key. This irritated the snake. It snapped at Sammy's arm.

"Ouch! I've been bitten!" Sammy screamed, "Oh God! The venom is rushing to my brain! Who are you? Who am I? I don't even know! What's happening?"

Tyler ran up to the massive snake, screaming "Stop right there!" He lifted the snake with all his might, uncoiling it. The snake let go of the key, which clattered onto the ground. Sammy picked up the key, still feeling dizzy. She jammed it into the lock and turned it.

Chris was waiting for the duo.

"Congratulations Samey and Tyler!" Chris said, waiting on some island with the SS McLean behind him.

Sammy was still woozy, "I think that I've been poisoned by that snake"

"Uh, Samey?" Chris said, "Anacondas aren't venomous. I wanted to get a rattlesnake, but those safety freaks at the network wouldn't allow it. It's just a placebo."

"Oh, yeah," Sammy giggled and fainted.

"She'll be fine when she wakes up," Chris said apathetically.

NOAH & LINDSAY

Noah and Lindsay proceeded into the next room. It was long with a door far away on the other end.

"Welcome to the final room of your Challenge!" Chris's voice broadcasted, "Your challenge is equally terrifying to both of you! Since you both managed to conquer your fears, for your last challenge, you'll need to both work together to accomplish your challenge! If you win, you get immunity! If you don't, you're both up for elimination!"

"So what is it?" Noah asked, impatient.

"I was getting to that," Chris said, "Stop killing the fun!"

"You'll have to compete in a footrace," Chris said, "Against one of Total Drama's most athletic contestants!"

"What? You're not bringing Beef Brain back, are you?" Noah asked.

"No. There's a pretty high demand for other contestants this season, so you'll be racing against the one and only Joanna Stippa!

"Who?" Lindsay and Noah asked in unison.

"Aw, you're having a blonde moment, too!" Lindsay squealed.

"Bite me," Noah muttered, "Not really," he said when Lindsay opened her mouth.

"So who is it?" Noah asked.

"It's Jo from Revenge!" Chris clarified, "Has Lindsay's blondeness rubbed off on you?"

"I'm contagious?" Lindsay asked, eyes wide.

Chris ignored this comment, "Anyways, since you two are pretty wimpy, I'll let you do a relay: Lindsay does the first half. Noah does the second."

"Who are my opponents?" Jo stormed into the room, "Oh, it's the know-it-all and the busty blondie! I thought this would be a challenge!"

Noah walked to the middle of the track.

"Oh, yeah, and throughout the track are volatile landmines!" Chris added, "I'd love to see you all go Kaboom!"

"I'm going to freaking die," Noah said to himself.

Jo and Lindsay got into position.

"You're going down Boob Brain!" Jo taunted.

"I'm going to destroy you, Mean Nickname Girl!" Lindsay fired back.

"Three, Two, One, Go!"

Lindsay pranced across the track. Jo sprinted as fast as she could, accidentally landing on a mine.

"Ouch!" Jo screamed as she flew into the air and fell on the floor. Lindsay was pulling ahead.

"Get back here, you bitch!" Jo scolded as she got up and continued to run.

Lindsay slapped Noah's hand. Noah began to run, but much slower. His foot landed on a mine and he was blasted into the air and landed on another mine which blasted his small body across the room, nailing the door.

"No freaking way!" Chris exclaimed, "Noah actually beat Jo in a footrace?"

"No," Jo said, panting, "I lost because scrawny boy was blown across the room! That's a tainted win!"

"Um...yeah, but they still get immunity," Chris said casually, "And somebody get the medical staff to pick up Noah. He's not getting up. He might be dead."

BRICK & COURTNEY

Brick and Courtney entered their room. There was a pool filled with green slime. At the very bottom was a key.

"All you have to do is dive to the bottom of this pool filled with green gel and pick up the key to the door," Chris said.

Courtney looked at Brick.

"What are you waiting for? Go!" Courtney snidely yelled.

"I'd prefer you don't use that tone with me," Brick said.

"And I'd prefer you don't sit around and do nothing after I helped you deal with your fear!"

"And I'd prefer you don't bitch at everybody and treat them like crap!"

"And I'd prefer..."

Chris yawned over the speaker, "This is boring! As much as I love seeing you two fight, you have a job to do!"

"Chris, just give me some time!" Courtney yelled, "I'm getting mentally prepared."

"Yeah, no!" Chris said, "I have a better idea," Chris cackled.

An alarm sounded in the room and the green goop fell down from the ceiling, covering the two teens.

"Gross," Brick said, disgusted.

Courtney freaked out.

"AAAAHHH!" She shrieked, "I'm covered in green slime!" I can't do it! I can't do it!" She pressed the button fervently.

"And the team of Brick and Courtney has forfeited the challenge!" Chris's voice announced, "Let's check in on our remaining team!"

BRIDGETTE & EZEKIEL

Bridgette and Ezekiel walked into the next room. Like the previous, it was dark and resembled a forest, but the difference was the giant octopus in the center. It was even bigger than the previous one, about three times Ezekiel's size, with eight snaking tentacles.

"Bridgette, Ezekiel, you see that sword at your feet. You need to slice off each tentacle from that octopus! Bridgette, you'll be hurting an innocent animal. Ezekiel, you'll be doing hand-to-hand with your greatest fear! Oh, it's so evil!"

"I...I can't do this," Bridgette said.

"Then I'll do it," Ezekiel said with certainty. He picked up the sword and confronted the octopus.

If it was possible for an octopus to look amused, this one surely did. It beckoned Ezekiel as if to play with its food before eating it.

Ezekiel screamed a battle cry and sliced off one of the tentacles and noticed something odd.

Instead of blood spilling out, he noticed that instead, there was a circuit board and some bolts that spilled out.

"Hey," He screamed to Bridgette, who was covering her eyes, "The octopus! It's mechanical!"

Bridgette smiled and picked up the other sword.

"Yeah, I couldn't get a real one," Chris confessed, "The folks at PETA probably wouldn't allow it. We can hurt people all we want, but if we do anything to an animal, that's when we get the angry e-mails!"

Bridgette managed to slice off a tentacle with the sword, "This is surprisingly fun!" she exclaimed.

"I know, eh?" Ezekiel replied, severing another tentacle.

The octopus tried to wrap its tentacle around Bridgette, but she cut it off with her sword. The team was halfway there.

"Take that, you dirty cephalopod!" Ezekiel taunted, cutting off tentacle number five.

"Yeah! Take that," Bridgette sliced off number sixth.

Ezekiel chopped off the seventh tentacle, "Just one more to go on this squid-wannabe! Care to do the honors?"

"With pleasure," Bridgette cut off the final tentacle, "Yes!" The two teens shared a hug, "We did it!"

Bridgette and Ezekiel left the dungeon and found themselves on an island. They met Lindsay and Noah (Who was sporting a cast on his left arm), Tyler and Sammy, who were a little discombobulated, but looking fine, otherwise, and Brick and Courtney who were soaked in green slime, the latter paralyzed in fear.

"Well, we'd better get back on the ship. One of our little green aliens is going home!"

DECK OF SHAME

"All of you guys managed to rise to the challenge and face your fears," Chris announced, "except for these two sorry suckers," he motioned toward Courtney and Brick, who were showered off. Brick was in his cadet's uniform again. Courtney was wearing a white bathrobe with a towel around her hair.

"Well," Chris said, "I guess it's for the better, "I didn't really have a follow-up challenge planned if everybody won immunity, so go and vote somebody off. Remember: you can only vote for Brick or Courtney.

CONFESSIONAL: SAMMY

"I really don't know who I'm voting for. Brick and Courtney have been very good friends of mine since I started this competition. I'd really hate to see either of them go." *She sighs* "Well, I'd better start getting used to it. Most of the people left are my friends."

END CONFESSIONAL

"These votes were really close!" Chris announced, "In fact, we might've been tied if somebody," Chris jerked his thumb at Lindsay, "Actually voted for somebody who was up for voting!"

"I couldn't help but vote for Noel," Lindsay protested, "He's, like, so mean and stuff!"

"Anyways, let's count the votes," Chris said, "One vote Courtney, one vote Brick. Two votes Courtney, two votes Brick. Three votes Courtney, three votes brick. And the final vote...won't be announced until after we watch the commercials!

COMMERCIAL BREAK!

Rich Moneyman was back and better than ever. "Hey, do you love Total Drama?"

"Boy, I'll say!" A young girl with long, chocolate brown hair said.[2]

"Then you're going to love this!" Rich said, "Tigerfang98, the genius who brought you this story is now on Deviant Art!"

"No way," the girl was dumbfounded.

"Yes, way! And he's taking requests! He'll draw anything Total Drama!"

"No way!" the girl shrieked awestruck.

"Yes, way!" Moneyman said.

"Wow! I'm going to get him to draw Lindsay and Dawn and Mike and Tyler and all my favorite characters!"

"Courtney!"

"No!" Courtney shrieked, "Why me and not him?" She grimaced at Brick.

"Them's the votes," Chris said, "later, Courtney!"

"This is an outrage!" Courtney shouted.

"She's not gonna go easy," Chris said, "Chef, take care of her!"

The burly cook took Courtney in his arms and threw her in the water. He tossed her the inflatable lifeboat as the ship sailed into the night.

And seven remain! Who will be the next unlucky loser? Find out next time on the next episode of Total! Drama! HIGH SEAS!

[1] Shout-out to TKN's Total Drama Comeback, where Ezekiel has the same fear and backstory. You rule, TKN!

[2] That girl in the commercial is my sister. If it weren't for her, there's a very good chance that you wouldn't be reading this right now. She's awesome. I bounce ideas off her all the time and she's the reason I'm writing. Once, when she was sick, I told her a story about the Total Drama Characters and she told me that I should write it down. That was a very crude version of what became Total Drama High Seas.

As for the shameless self-promotion, I have no regrets...

Sorry to all Courtney fans, but she had to go. After the next elimination, there will be a new poll. And that's about it. Until next time my people!
