Welcome back minions! Seems I've upset quite a few people with that last elimination. Sorry to say, that's just the way the Courtney crumbles, haha...

I've revealed the first half of the cast (actually just the silhouettes of Total Drama Survival (working title) on my DeviantArt account and I'd like to hear your thoughts.

So with that, I have nothing else to say. I hope you enjoy this chapter because I have this feeling that it's not going to be my best work. I'm really only using this chapter to eliminate the people I need to get rid of, but that's the trade off because the last few chapters are going to have major plot advancements. So read on. Now to respond to a few reviews:

I.M. Poik: don't worry. That chapter is coming soon. But I won't tell when. Muahaha!

MisterParadox: she's not home right now, but I'll tell her when she is. ;) keep up those long reviews!

Total Drama Nerd: Hey, Moneyman has become part of the Total Drama family. We must learn to love him in all his cheesy pitchman-ness because he's not leaving.

TheAbyssWalker: dude, you really should get an account. You're pretty active as a guest and getting an account here is free and very secure. Thanks for being such a loyal reader!

And now for the show:

Last time on Total Drama:

The contestants were left to face their greatest fears as I watched and laughed. Noah got really annoyed by Lindsay's incompetence while Ezekiel and Bridgette made up for their bad history.

Brick and Courtney fought as per usual while Samey and Tyler became unlikely friends.

But when Courtney and Brick were unable to complete their challenge, the group chose in a close vote to have Courtney eliminated and everyone's favorite type-A overachiever was forced to swim home.

Who's going to survive? Who's going to wish they didn't? Find out on Total! Drama! HIGH SEAS!

Chapter 16: Hide n Zeke

STATEROOM 1(AMY & TOPHER):

Amy and Topher were in quiet slumber when there was a pounding on the door.

"Who would wake me up this early?" Amy asked Topher.

"Yeah, really," Topher replied, "I need nine hours at least to keep my face looking this fresh and beautiful."

"Yeah, let's go with that," Amy grumbled.

The rapping on the door continued.

"Just pretend you're not there," Topher whispered.

"I know you're in there, Amy! Now answer the door!"

"Crap!" Amy shrieked, "he knows!"

"Now let me in!"

Amy opened the door. It was Noah.

"Hello, Noah," Amy said, crossing her arms, "You ratted us out, remember that?"

"Yes, I do," Noah said, emotionless.

"That was low, even for you," Amy said.

"Don't talk about low," Noah retorted, "You've been hanging out here all season to sabotage your sister."

Amy narrowed her eyes.

"But you're still here," Noah said.

"But everybody knows," Amy said.

Noah sneered, "I wouldn't care about the contestants if I were you. I'd care about Chris eventually finding out. I don't think he'd be too happy if he found out you two were here."

Amy narrowed her eyes further.

"I know where you are now," Noah said, "and I can tell Chris right now, if I want to."

"You wouldn't."

"I will," Noah said, "you see, it'll be bad for my image if my competition finds out that I've been doing nothing to stop you."

"What are your terms?" Amy asked.

"I've seen your work. You can sabotage people nicely. Sabotage my competition and your secret is safe."

"You're a jerk," Amy said, "but you leave me no choice than to help you."

"Pretty much," Noah agreed.

"Deal," Amy shook Noah's hand.

CONFESSIONAL: NOAH:

Am I going to keep up on my promise? We'll see..."

CONFESSIONAL: AMY

"That weasel is good, but I don't trust him. We're going back to the cargo hold. Hopefully that can buy us some time."

END CONFESSIONALS

MEANWHILE:

Chris stood in front of Boney Island.

"Welcome to the final seven! It's quite impressive, given that most of you have never even made a merge before!" He said, grinning, "it's also a decision you're going to regret for the rest of your lives, which might not be that long," he let out an evil laugh.

"I hate when he does that," Tyler whispered to Sammy.

"Anyhow, you know the deal with the Fun Zone, right?"

The gasps and widening of eyes made Chris smile even more smugly.

"Well, I'll tell those who don't, then," Chris said, "remember that goody-goody Dawn from season four? She vowed to sell those shells and stuff from Wawanakwa and make some sort of preserve for the 'poor, defenseless mutants,' so you can thank her for this challenge. You guys are going on a little scavenger hunt in the fun zone. I'm going to give you a list of things to find, but the categories are very vague and the judges, namely me, are very picky!

Chris handed each contestant a list. The things that were listed were:

Something big

Something dangerous

Something that represents another contestant

Something that represents you

Something you could give as a gift

Something to impress me

"Um," Bridgette started, "That's really vague."

"That's the point," Chris said, "The first person to get everything on the list wins immunity and gets to pick not one, but two people to go home!"

This earned some gasps from the seven teens.

"Wait a minute," Ezekiel said, " you're just doing this to give immunity to the contestants you like, aren't you?"

"Maybe," Chris sang, "you'll just have to all do your best!"

The contestants all scoffed and got irritated.

CONFESSIONAL: NOAH:

"This is bad. If I don't get everything first, there's a very good chance of me going home next. I need an ally. But who's strong enough to win and gullible enough to not vote for me?"

END CONFESSIONAL

"Three, two, one, go!"

The contestants headed off into the Fun Zone, not knowing what would await them.

EZEKIEL

"This place brings back bad memories, eh," Ezekiel said to himself.

He began searching. "Dang, this list is way too vague," he said again to himself. He picked up a strange looking flower, "I guess i could give this as a gift," he thought, plucking the flower out of the ground.

He heard a scream. It was so loud it made him jump. It came from a vine wrapped around a tree. The strange mutant vine slithered across the ground and wrapped around Ezekiel.

Ezekiel screamed as the vine slithered around his body, crushing him. He tried to shake it off, but it kept tightening its grip. A mouth attached to the tree opened up. It could easily swallow the prairie boy. He wriggled and squirmed, but the vine just got tighter around him. All he could do was let out an anguished "help" before he blacked out.

BRIDGETTE

Bridgette walked around the Fun Zone. It was quite the peculiar place. She figured she would find her objects in order.

"Something big?" She asked herself, "that's practically impossible here."

She walked around for a bit and found a very large egg crudely buried in mud. She smiled and walked toward it. She picked up the egg. It was so big that she had to use both her arms. She ran to show the egg to Chris, but ran into a nasty surprise.

A mutant crocodile appeared at its nest and looked pretty steamed to discover its egg in the hands of a nosey surfer girl.

"Oh, is this your egg?" Bridgette asked the crocodile nervously.

The crocodile snarled.

Bridgette set the egg down. "I'll just leave this with you," she whimpered and ran away, screaming.

The crocodile merely grunted and went back to watching the egg.

TYLER & LINDSAY

Lindsay and Tyler decided to help each other.

"Something big," Tyler read his list aloud.

"What's big around here?" Lindsay asked.

"Most of the wildlife," Tyler replied.

"Oh," Lindsay said, "what's a wildlife?"

"It's a wild animal," Tyler answered.

"Oh, so all we have to do is find a wild animal and ask him nicely to come and help us!" Lindsay reasoned.

"Um," Tyler said, dumbfounded by his girlfriend, "you're really cute."

"Aw, thank you!" Lindsay squealed, hugging Tyler.

When Tyler returned the hug, he heard a growling, "Um, babe? Was that you?"

"No, it was just that big, scary raccoon behind you!"

Said big, scary raccoon roared.

"Hey," Lindsay said, "that raccoon is big! All we have to do is pick him up and take him to Chris!"

The raccoon swiped its powerful paw at the duo. The two ran away. The raccoon, wanting to play a game, gave chase.

BRICK

Brick walked around. He was no stranger to giant, mutant animals. He felt a rumbling under the ground. A big, mutant, hairless gopher popped its head. Brick smiled, finding something. He knew how to deal with this. Brick took off his boot and the gopher's heightened sense of smell picked up the stench.

The gopher gagged and ran away. Brick chased the monstrous mammal with his boot in his hand. The cadet chased the gopher all the way to Chris.

"Does this count for something big?" Brick asked.

"Hmmm," Chris tapped his chin, "for a mutant gopher, it's average size..."

Brick chased the massive creature toward Chris. Chris screamed as the gopher growled at him, "I mean, yes! It counts! Oh God, get that creature away from me!"

CONFESSIONAL: BRICK

"Am I ashamed of intimidating Chris? No! He puts us through trauma and torture all the time! He deserves it." He shrugged, "maybe Courtney's been rubbing off on me."

END CONFESSIONAL

"Brick has gotten the first point of the game!" Chris announced through a megaphone, "the rest of you'd better get going!"

Noah was trying to pry Ezekiel out of the vine's grasp, but the thick foliage wouldn't give to Noah's scrawny arms. In fact, it only got tighter.

Noah got an idea. He took a sharp branch and cut the vine. It let out a scream. Noah shook the prairie boy to wake him up.

Ezekiel woke up gradually.

"Whoa, Noah, thanks, eh," Ezekiel said half-asleep still.

"Yeah, don't mention it, buddy," the know- it-all replied.

CONFESSIONAL: NOAH

"Yeah, Zeke's proven himself to be quite a strong player. If he wins this and I convince him to eliminate who I want, we can get two of my biggest competitors out and then I can dump him next challenge."

END CONFESSIONAL

"So, Zeke," Noah said, "how about helping me out here?"

"You mean an alliance?" Ezekiel asked.

"No, just for this challenge," Noah said, "as you know, I'm not exactly the most physically fit person here."

"Hate to break it to you, but I ain't no bodybuilder either," Ezekiel said.

"Sure, but if we team up, we're twice as strong," Noah reasoned.

"No," Ezekiel said, "if we win, you'll take all the credit. Then you'll get to choose who gets eliminated."

"Aw, you caught me," Noah faked, "I'll tell you what: how about this: if I win, I'll give you one vote for who leaves and vice versa."

"I don't know," Ezekiel said, "I don't really want to get caught up in these alliances."

"Need I remind you of the fact that I saved your life five minutes ago?"

Ezekiel sighed, "fine, we'll do it."

"Excellent," Noah smirked.

SAMMY

Sammy had never met a mutant before, so it's only natural that she was a little bit nervous about entering the alien environment of the fun zone.

"Who's there?" She screamed when she heard a rustling in the bushes.

The bushes continued to rattle.

"I'm onto you!" Sammy screamed.

Out of the bushes, a little lizard with three eyes poked its head out of the bush.

"Aw," Sammy cooed, "it's kind of cute!"

Then, a big brown claw came out of the bush and plucked the lizard off the ground. The arm quickly retreated back into the bush.

"What is this? Sammy asked herself, scared."

A big rattlesnake slithered out of the bush with two huge arms with a sharp claw on the end of each.

Sammy screamed again.

The snake reared up to strike. It almost got a big chomp on Sammy's head, but the cheerleader was able to swiftly dodge on time. The snake attempted a stab at Sammy with the claw, but she flipped out of the way and delivered a kick to its jaw with her long, white boot. The snake cringed in pain and tried to skewer the blonde girl with its claw. Sammy ran in front of a tree. When the snake reared its claw back again, Sammy jumped out of the way again. The snake struck and its claw got stuck in the thick bark. It tried to pull it out, but it's lanky arms were not strong enough.

The snake finally managed to pry its arm away from the tree, but it's claw remained impaled. The snake screamed in pain, purple blood gushing from its wound. It slithered away, in search of a less athletic meal.

Sammy pulled the claw from the tree with all her strength, eventually managing to pull it out. She ran outside of the Fun Zone to show Chris her prize.

"This is dangerous, right?" Sammy asked Chris.

"No, the animal that was attached to is dangerous," Chris responded.

"Well," she started, looking at the list again, "doesn't it impress you that I was able to find this?"

"Yes, but the object itself isn't impressive," Chris retorted.

"Well, doesn't it remind you of Izzy? She's always doing crazy things like chopping off snake claws."

"I suppose," Chris said, "what the hell, I'll give it to you."

Sammy grinned.

NOAH & EZEKIEL

Noah was tying the rope around a tree.

"Are you sure this'll work?" Ezekiel asked his new partner.

"No," Noah said honestly, but if it does, we'll get something for every category.

"Wait, but how are we going to get the animal to Chris eh?"

"We'll cross that bridge when it comes," Noah said in a matter-of fact manner.

"What if we accidentally capture another person?" Ezekiel asked

Noah smirked, "less competition."

BRIDGETTE

Bridgette was having a hard time finding something for any of her categories. It didn't help that she was doing quite a bit of running and screaming from any animal she saw (the animals did not give chase). She ran to a mutant goat. Maybe she'd have better luck taking an egg from a mammal.

The goat sat on its egg in a naturally goatish manner, the bat wings on its back twitching as it protected its babies.

Unfortunately, the goat's egg was not large. In fact, Bridgette had a hard time figuring out any use for a goat's egg on the list, so she decided to look elsewhere.

BRICK

Brick approached a small grove of trees to continue his search. He fund himself a nice little normal beaver.

"This could impress Chris," Brick said, "It's a non-mutant in the fun zone."

Brick crept up to the fluffy little rodent and tried to grab him. When he grabbed the beaver, he realized it didn't even wriggle and squirm in his grasp.

He tried to pull the beaver away, but he couldn't. It was like it was attached to something.

He felt a tugging motion as he was lifted up by the beaver, revealing a nasty-looking fanged face.

It was a mutant anglerfish. The big fish tried to lower the cadet into its gaping maw, but he let go of the beaver-shaped lure just in time. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, feeling some sort of liquid trickle down his leg in the process.

"Crap," he said to himself.

CONFESSIONAL: BRICK

"Damn involuntary bladder release!"

END CONFESSIONAL

TYLER & LINDSAY

"Are we there yet?" Lindsay whined.

"We're not going anywhere," Tyler said.

"Then what's the challenge?"

"We have to find something for every category on the list," he pointed to Lindsay's list, which she was holding in her hand.

"Oh," she said, looking at her list, " What is this language? I can't read it!"

Tyler took the list from her hand, turned it right side-up and returned it to the blonde.

"Oh," she said again, "Now I understand!"

"So, where do you think we could find these things?" Tyler asked.

"What things?"

"The things on the list," he said patiently.

"What list?" Lindsay asked.

"The one in your hand."

"This is a list?"

"Yes," Tyler said, "this is a list."

NOAH & EZEKIEL

The trap was set. All Noah and Ezekiel had to do was wait for one of the mutant animals to stumble into the trap.

"You ready?" Noah asked from within a bush, "we are so going to win this challenge!"

"Um, you must've forgotten," Ezekiel said, "only one of us can win this challenge, eh?"

Noah pondered this. He had not planned on Ezekiel figuring this out. His original plan was to use Ezekiel for manpower and snag immunity for himself.

"Yes," Noah said, "only one of us can win. If you let me take immunity for myself, I will help you win next challenge and let you take immunity for yourself."

"There's just one problem," Ezekiel started, "I don't trust you. You've played pretty dirty this season. I don't trust you and I don't believe in using your tactics."

"It's just a game," Noah said, "Nobody can really get that hurt. I'm just playing the game."

"How can you say that? What about Sammy and Sky? What about Dave last season? What about Scott and Gwen in All-Stars? What about everybody eliminated by Scott in Revenge? You can't say it's just a game! You're dealing with human beings who have feelings, but you treat them like pawns in your sinister plot, eh!"

"Perhaps," Noah mused with no emotion, "but those people are getting in the way of our winning. I wouldn't mind taking you to the finale."

"I won't go to the finale with somebody who lies and cheats. It ain't right!"

"It isn't right?" Noah asked himself, "Listen, just stay out of my way, and you'll get to the final two."

"It doesn't seem right, but I'll do it, for now," Ezekiel said, "but you continue your tactics and you'll be next."

"Noted."

CONFESSIONAL: NOAH

"Beside me, Ezekiel is the least athletic contestant left. If it comes down to just me and him, I'd have an actual chance of winning."

CONFESSIONAL: EZEKIEL

"I see what Noah is doing. He wants to go up against me on the finale because I'm the least athletic person here. Going up against me is much better for him than going up against Brick or Lindsay."

END CONFESSIONAL

SAMMY

"Alright," Sammy said to herself, "one down. I still need something big." She walked around the Fun Zone, unable to find anything big (she did find a family of hairless squirrels sleeping together and thought it was adorable, but it wasn't big).

BRIDGETTE

"Yes!" Bridgette cheered as she found an abandoned egg, "This is big!" She grabbed the egg in her arms and ran to Chris, who was standing a safe distance outside the heavily-secured area.

"I found something big!" Bridgette told Chris.

"Hmm," Chris said, examining the egg, "I guess this is big enough. It passes!"

"Yes!" Bridgette pumped her fist.

LINDSAY & TYLER

Lindsay and Tyler combed the bushes to see if they could find anything of interest.

"Whoa!" Tyler exclaimed, "What's this?" He took the strange object in his hand. It was a wooden carving of Chris MacLean's head.

"There were two?" Tyler asked himself.

"Obviously," Lindsay said, "otherwise he wouldn't have continued to exile people after Alejandro gave it to him."

"What?" Tyler asked his girlfriend.

"I'm not stupid," Lindsay giggled, "sometimes you have to give me, like, some credit!"

"Let's give it to Chris!" Tyler said.

The two ran out of the fun zone and presented the carving to the host.

"You see," Tyler started, "this is something I can give as a gift. I mean who wouldn't want a wood sculpture of your beautiful face?"

CONFESSIONAL: TYLER

"Saying those words...made me want to vomit."

CONFESSIONAL: LINDSAY

"Wait? Tyler thinks Chet is beautiful? I hope he still thinks I'm beautiful!"

END CONFESSIONALS

"You still think I'm beautiful, right?" Lindsay asked.

"Of course, but not nearly as beautiful as our amazingly handsome host!" He looked at Chris.

Lindsay's eyes grew wide, "H-how could you say that?" Tears were forming in her big blue eyes, "I thought you cared about me! I thought you thought I was the prettiest girl you met! You told me that every day!" She ran away crying.

"Dude," Chris said, "that was messed up."

Tyler looked like he was about to cry as well.

"But, I like the sucking up, so I'll give you the point!"

Tyler would have cheered and pumped his fist, but he ran off, looking for Lindsay.

SAMMY

"And then he said Chris was more beautiful than me!" Lindsay sobbed to a consoling Sammy.

"It's ok," Sammy said, "I personally think Chris is pretty ugly."

"So I'm not as pretty as an ugly person!?" Lindsay blubbered.

"You're beautiful," Sammy said, "I wish I was as pretty as you."

"But you are!" Lindsay said, "you're much prettier than your sister."

"Nobody's ever said that before," Sammy told Lindsay, "that means a lot. Thanks."

Lindsay smiled as Tyler walked up to her.

"Lindsay, I was lying when I said Chris was more beautiful than you. I was just trying to get us the point!"

Lindsay didn't know whether to believe him. Surely he knew about how hurt it would make her feel, but his face. He looked so guilty. He looked like he was about to cry, too. Why did he have to be so darn cute when he felt guilty?

"Of course," Lindsay said, "I'm sorry I overreacted." She hugged Tyler and gave him a big kiss. Pretty soon, they were in full make-out mode.

Sammy sighed in a barely-audible whisper, "I used to have that." as she walked off.

NOAH AND EZEKIEL

"Come on you giant mutant turtle," Noah crooned to the giant mutant turtle as it lumbered toward the trap."

The turtle sniffed around. He took the bait and was promptly hoisted into the air by the trap.

"Yes!" Noah applauded.

"What if it breaks?" Ezekiel asked.

"Impossible," Noah said, "those ropes are practically indestructible."

As if to prove Noah's point, the turtle roared and thrashed around in the net, but there wasn't even a scratch in the rope.

Noah and Ezekiel pushed the net containing the turtle out of the fun zone.

"Whoa!" Chris screamed at the two boys, now sweating and panting.

"Yeah," Noah panted, we captured something that fits every category."

Ezekiel brought out the list, "No one's gonna argue this turtle is big and dangerous, it has a temper and is really strong like Eva,"

Noah continued, it represents me because it's slow and lazy and it's pretty impressive that we two scrawny nerds caught it."

"That's true," Chris said, but you can't give it as a gift."

"You can give it as a gift to your enemies," Noah said, "then, they get mauled by a mutant turtle."

"I like the way you think!" Chris said, "Noah wins this challenge! Everyone else, come to the deck of shame. We've got some voting to do!"

DECK OF SHAME

Chris stood at the Deck of Shame. He had two rubber life rafts behind him.

"For winning that last challenge, Noah gets to pick two people to take the plunge off the ship."

CONFESSIONAL: NOAH

"Who did I vote for? It's pretty obvious."

"Brick!"

"Looks like its time to be deployed!" Chris sneered

Brick sighed. "I knew people would be gunning for me to leave. I had fun. Good luck guys!" He turned back and was about to leave, but he heard Sammy's voice.

"Brick!" Sammy shrieked, making the soldier boy turn around, "you've been a really good friend to me," she said, hugging the cadet, "thank you."

"All in a day's work," Brick smiled.

Sammy saluted him, followed by Bridgette and Ezekiel who also seemed near tears. Then Lindsay and Tyler saluted. Noah just rolled his eyes because he was Noah.

"It's been fun getting to know you all," Brick said, "You all have a good chance at winning this. Don't get discouraged."

"Touching," Chris said, but we still have somebody else to dump. So Brick, please leave."

"Yes sir," he moped, boarding his lifeboat as the ship sailed away.

"Now there are six," Chris said, "one more has to leave to make it an even five. Who will that be? The following contestants are safe:"

"Noah,"

"Samey,"

"Bridgette"

Tyler and Lindsay hugged each other. Neither wanted the other to leave.

"Tyler."

"No!" Lindsay squeaked, holding her boyfriend tighter.

"Sorry," Chris said, "it's Noah's opinion, not yours, that matters here."

Tyler stood up, about to leave.

"Well, guys," he said, "I've had a good run."

"We'll miss you eh," Ezekiel told his friend, "take care, buddy."

"I will," he said. Then he looked directly at Lindsay. "Good luck Lindsay babe. You made it this far. I know you can win."

"Aww, thanks," Lindsay cooed, "and don't worry. I'll make sure Noel pays for what he's done!"

"Noah," Tyler corrected as he jumped off the ship.

"Bye, Tyler!" Lindsay cried, leaning as far as she could so the shrinking figure of Tyler could hear.

"Bye, Lindsay!" Tyler yelled, "I'll miss you!"

Lindsay stared after Tyler was out of sight, miserable.

Bridgette patted her shoulder. "I know. It's heard loosing a loved one."

Sammy walked up as well, "I'm sorry."

The three blonde girls looked into the night sky.

CARGO HOLD

"Why didn't you go for Samey?" Amy asked Noah.

"Have you forgotten?" The egghead scolded, "you work for me. Not vice versa."

Amy sulked. She wasn't used to somebody else being in charge.

"Don't worry, though," Noah said, "Samey will be going soon. I just have one other person on my hit list."

"Ok, then, but I must ask: how did you know we were back here?"

"A criminal always returns to the scene of the crime," Noah said ominously as he walked away.
