Hello again from your friendly neighborhood Tigerfang98! It's time for the semifinals! Lindsay, Ezekiel and Sammy are the only remaining contestants. It's time to send one more off today. First, let's respond to some reviews!

Total Drama Nerd: The dreaminator was dismantled by an unknown perpetrator, the only thing authorities reported was a flash of green and orange.

I.M. Poik: What did you expect to happen? And yes, I can include Jasmine in this chapter. She's one of the only characters that hasn't appeared yet. As for your guess at the finalists: we'll just have to see ;)

Guest: No more evil people, yes, but there's still going to be a lot more drama!

ChocChipCookie: How could you not like Sammy?

The Beautiful Kayla Storm: Yes! Take that! It's going to be fun torturing them in this chapter.

The Abysswalker: Noah couldn't have made the finals. The villain never makes it to the end, unless you're Alejandro or Mike.

Just two more chapters and we will have our winner!

Last time on Total Drama High Seas:

I was captured by some insane ex-contestants hell-bent on revenge, so I made the contestants save me!

Noah ended up getting the worst treatment though as he accidentally touched the circuit board, resulting in an injury that ultimately disqualified him from the competition.

We also said hello to a couple of stowaways in the form of Topher and Amy! But it was really for the better, because I made them my personal assistants!

*the camera cuts to Chris and Chef getting foot massages from Topher and Amy respectively.*

Topher: "Maybe if I rub Chris's feet long enough, some of his greatness will rub off on me!"

Chris: "I doubt it, bro."

Chef: "Amy, you mind getting that big fungus to the right. It's starting to burn."

Amy: *throws up in her mouth a little*

Who will make the final two? How much more can I make Amy and Topher do for me? Find out right here on Total! Drama! High seas!

Chapter 19: Choose your own challenge!

There was tension in the air as Sammy, Lindsay and Ezekiel sat down for breakfast at the same table.

They all knew what was coming. They all wanted each other to win almost as much as they wanted to win themselves.

But it wasn't meant to be. Only one person could win. That's how it had to be.

Ezekiel was the first to break the silence, "Dudes, I know only one of us can win, but we're all friends, so let's play fair and support each other no matter what happens. Okay?"

"Yeah," Sammy said, "we've all tried hard and we've gotten really far in the game. Let's promise to do our best. If any of you get eliminated, no hard feelings, right?"

"Yeah," Lindsay said, "If I don't win, I'm glad one of you two will."

The three friends shared a group hug.

"Hey!" Chris shouted, "Stop the lovey-dovey love fest and start getting at each other's throats! Lindsay, cat fight with Sammy! Do something interesting or people won't tune in!"

The three shrugged. They were happy about Chris's disappointment.

"Anyways," Chris said, "I have a few announcements to make! First off, you remember Topher and Amy, right? Well, they're my new unpaid laborers now! If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!"

Sammy smirked, "I need something done, Chris!"

"Amy, Topher! Get over here!"

Amy and Topher walked out. Topher was wearing a rainbow Afro wig to cover up his baldness. They were also wearing white T-shirts with Chris's face on it.

The three contestants snickered.

"I know, right?" Topher said, "it's such a handsome shirt!"

"What do you need, Chris?" Amy snarled.

"Don't ask me, ask Samey!"

"All of the women's bathrooms are utterly unacceptable," Sammy smiled wickedly, "they all need to be cleaned!"

"I hope you don't expect me to do that!" Amy scoffed.

"You heard her," Chris said, "and the women's bathrooms haven't been cleaned since the beginning of the season. You know what that means?"

"What?" Amy asked through her teeth.

"It means that Sugar went in there," Sammy's smile was getting wider.

"Ugh!" Amy screamed.

"Yeah, I got a gas mask in my office. You might need it," Chris said.

Amy stormed off.

CONFESSIONAL: SAMMY

"Is it bad that I'm really, really enjoying this?"

CONFESSIONAL: AMY

"That little skank! She's doing this just to make my life difficult!"

END CONFESSIONALS

"Anyway," Chris said as Amy left to do her chore, "We've hit land in New Brunswick! You know what that means? It means it's time for a challenge!"

"What's the challenge?" Lindsay asked.

"I don't know," Chris said, "today, YOU guys are going to pick the challenge!"

The group cheered.

"Here's how it's going to work: each of you get to pick a challenge. The winner of the challenge gets three points, second place gets two and last place gets one. The player with the least amount of points is eliminated from the competition. No questions asked. Samey, since you won the last challenge, you get to pick the first challenge !"

"I pick...a triathlon!" Sammy said.

"The triathlon it is!" Chris announced.

The three remaining contestants were led to a large lake.

"Here's what you have to do: you have a 200 meter swim across the lake, followed by a two kilometer run across a trail and concluding with a 5 kilometer bike ride across the trail! Do you understand?

The three nodded.

"Good! You have five minutes to change into your swimwear and meet me back here!

Ezekiel and Lindsay walked out quickly. Ezekiel wore his normal swimsuit, but still wore his hat. Lindsay wore her favorite red bikini that left little to the imagination.

"Hmm..." Chris looked at his watch, "where's Samey?"

Sammy came out of the changing room looking more confident then anyone had ever seen her.

She looked ready to swim. She wore her red one-piece swimsuit and her hair was tucked into a black cap. She also had her goggles around her head.

CONFESSIONAL: SAMMY

"I've been training for this all season! This challenge is mine!"

"Alright," Chris said, "you have appropriate clothes and equipment at the end of each section of the race. Three! Two! One! Go!"

Sammy dived into the water easily and maintained quite a bit of momentum underwater.

Ezekiel tried to dive, but belly-flopped into the water. After he recovered, he was off, but not with Sammy's speed.

Lindsay looked at the water. She wanted to win the challenge, but if she went, she'd get her hair wet and her makeup would run. She was in a tough dilemma.

"Um, Lindsay," Chris said, "you going to go?"

Lindsay held her breath and decided to suck it up. She jumped into the water. She tried to swim but she was merely flopping. She wasn't exactly graceful in the water.

Ezekiel did a few breast strokes and he was pretty fast, but not nearly as fast as Sammy. She was fast as lightning.

Sammy was doing very fast crawl strokes and was out of the water within a couple minutes. She crawled out of the water and found a towel and a pair of shorts and running shoes. She removed her cap and goggles, dried off quickly and put on the shorts and shoes.

She was off again. She was a very fast runner. She was not even sweating (maybe she was. It's hard to tell when you're wet, but she wasn't having a hard time. That's for sure). Sammy sprinted off on the asphalt trail.

A considerable time later, Ezekiel climbed out of the water. He didn't even bother to dry off or put on shoes. He just ran.

CONFESSIONAL: EZEKIEL

"I don't have a problem running without shoes. It's because I didn't wear shoes when I was feral and my feet have permanent calluses."

END CONFESSIONAL

Ezekiel began running. He was a surprisingly fast runner, given his skinny physique. He was almost a few hundred yards behind Sammy, but Sammy was fast. She managed to clear the running portion of the challenge way before anyone else.

At about this time, Lindsay finished the swimming portion of the triathlon. She crawled out and took her sweet time drying off. She lifted up the running shorts in her hand like they were contaminated.

"Eew!" She complained, "these are, like, so disgusting!"

She looked at the shoes and gagged. She couldn't possibly wear that ugly sports clothing.

She just walked off, barefoot and still in her bikini.

Sammy was on the biking section of the triathlon. She found a bicycle with a helmet attached. She took the helmet and put it on and began to pedal. She swiftly spun her legs around and the bike moved very quickly across the path.

Ezekiel finished the running part of the challenge. He got on the bike and put the helmet on over his toque. When he began to pedal, he wobbled around a lot. He'd never learned to ride a bike. This would be a problem.

Sammy began to get tired. She'd been pumping uphill the whole time. Her thighs were turning to stone. She did not know how long she could keep her lead.

She shouldn't have been worrying. Between Ezekiel's consistent stumbling and falling and Lindsay barely being able to run, Sammy was the only contestant that seemed capable of even finishing the race.

Sammy began pedaling even harder. The cycling part was the only part of the triathlon she hadn't trained for on the ship.

Ezekiel kept falling down on his bike. He had only really managed to even stay on it for a few minutes at a time before falling off again.

Sammy was on the home stretch. She saw the finish and the rest of the race was downhill. She was going to win! She cycled across the finish line in first place.

"And Samey makes first place!" Chris announced.

A few minutes later, Ezekiel ran across the finish line, minus his bike. His pants were torn and he had a lot of scrapes on his knees and elbows.

"Finished, eh?" Ezekiel mumbled.

"Ezekiel takes second place!" Chris announced, "But where's your bike, dude?"

"I left that demon machine. I kept falling off, eh!"

"Whatever," Chris said, "You finished before Lindsay."

"I did?" Ezekiel asked.

"Yeah, speak of the devil, where is Lindsay?"

"She's on the biking section," Chef said, "she's trying to find the key to start the bike."

"Yeah, get her and tell her she's lost," Chris said.

"But it's so far away!" Chef said.

"I have an idea," Chris said, "Get Topher and Amy to do it."

"Ok," Chef said, fetching the two.

"While we take care of this, why don't you enjoy a word from our sponsors!"

COMMERCIAL BREAK:

"Rich Moneyman here with a brand-new invention!" Moneyman held up a toilet-shaped ring attached to some steel legs for support.

"This is the Travel Toilet! It's the perfect toilet for when you've gotta go...on the go! All you gotta do is put a plastic bag in the ring, sit down and do your business! But don't take my word for it! Let's see what Jasmine from Total Drama has to say!"

The tall, black girl with the khaki clothing entered the scene.

"What do you think, Jasmine?"

"What happened to peeing behind a tree?" Jasmine raised an eyebrow.

"Ohoho," Moneyman laughed, "that's so old-fashioned! Surely you know that!"

"Umm...no," Jasmine said, "people still do that!"

"They do?" Moneyman's eyes went wide.

Jasmine rolled her eyes.

"Ok, then," Moneyman said, "Stay tuned for another arbitrary invention you don't need!"

END COMMERCIAL

"Lindsay," Chris said, "You came in last, so you get to pick the next challenge!"

"Hmm..." Lindsay thought, "What am I good at?"

"Um," Chris said, "it's a half-hour show, so hurry up!"

Lindsay thought really hard. The gears in her little brain were working overtime.

"I've got it! Let's have a gymnastics contest!"

Sammy smiled. She knew she could hold her own.

Ezekiel looked scared. He wasn't very flexible.

"Gymnastics it is, then!" Chris announced, "Meet me on the stage in five!"

AT THE AUDITORIUM

"Alright!" Chris announced, "This challenge will work just like the talent contest! You will get a score of one to ten from each of our judges."

"Who are the judges?" Sammy asked.

"Yeah," Chris said, "A lot of people were busy, so the only people I could get were the nerds! Say hello to your judges: Cody, Sam and Harold!"

"Nice to meet you beautiful ladies!" Cody waved at Sammy and Lindsay, "Oh, and, Ezekiel, nice to see you back to normal, dude!"

Sam was playing Pokémon Alpha Sapphire on his Nintendo 3DS (product placement rules!) "Um, yeah, hi!" he didn't even look up from his game.

"Hello, competitors," Harold said, "Your awesomeness is commendable!"

"Ok!" Chris announced, "It's time to get started! First up is Lindsay because she chose this challenge!"

Lindsay got started. She jumped up and down to get started and then she began. She started with a few cartwheels and followed with a backflip. Then a front flip. Then a side flip. Then a bunch of flips that I can't even describe because they were so complicated. She ended by jumping a full three feet in the air and landing in a full split.

"Not bad," Chris said, "but let's see what the judges say!"

Cody was gaping at the blonde. He was speechless and held up a piece of cardboard with a 10 on it.

"Yeah," Sam said, "that was pretty good. I give it a nine!"

"Awesome," Harold said, "it's just...amazing."

"So what's the score?" Chris asked.

"I give it an eight," Harold said.

"So that goes to a total of 27 points for Lindsay!" Chris announced, "Good luck beating that Samey!"

"I can try," Sammy smiled.

Sammy got up on the stage. She started with a backflip. She then jumped high into the air and did a bunch of other really impressive stuff. She cartwheeled and ended in a handstand.

"Impressive," Chris said, "but it's the judges' opinion that matters!"

"It was ok," Cody said, shrugging, "I'll give her an eight."

"That was awesome," Harold said, "and I love awesome stuff. You get a nine."

"Do it again, I wasn't looking!" Sam said, still looking at his 3DS.

"Sam! Pay attention!" Chris yelled at the gamer, swiping his game away, "Whoa, you started with Treecko? What a noob!"

"Oh! I suppose you started with Mudkip?" Sam asked.

"Yeah!" Chris said, "Is that a problem?"

"No," Sam said, "I give Sammy a seven."

"That's 26 points for Sammy," Chris said, playing Sam's 3DS, "Let's see if Ezekiel can too that?"

Ezekiel gulped.

CONFESSIONAL: EZEKIEL

"I'm so going to make a fool of myself, eh ?"

END CONFESSIONAL

Ezekiel tried to do a simple split, but he did not do so well. A sickening crack could be heard. One of his legs bent at a weird angle and the other was outstretched

"Help," he whimpered.

"Go get him Chef," Chris told his co-host. The burly cook walked up to Ezekiel and picked him up. He snapped the prairie boy's leg into place and walked off.

"Can I finish?" Ezekiel asked.

"What the heck," Chris said, "Go ahead!"

Ezekiel got on the floor and started spinning around. Unfortunately, he got very dizzy and threw up.

"The world is spinning, eh?" Ezekiel said.

"I admire your persistence," Cody said, "but that performance wasn't very good. I'm gonna have to give it a three."

"Same," Sam said, "Sorry Zeke."

Ezekiel shrugged. He knew it would end like this.

"That was not awesome," Harold said, "four."

"So there you have it!" Chris announced, "currently leading is Samey with five points, followed by Lindsay with four and Ezekiel with three! It's time for Ezekiel to announce his challenge!"

"Can I wait for the world to stop spinning?" Ezekiel asked.

"Um yeah, we need someone to clean up that vomit anyways," Chris said, "Topher!"

"I think you should make Amy do it," Sammy offered.

"Good idea!" Chris smiled, "Amy! We need some vomit cleaned up!"

Amy walked onto the stage with a rag and glared at Chris. Sammy smiled and waved at her sister.

"So, Ezekiel, what's it gonna be?" Chris asked.

"We're going to play trivia!" Ezekiel said.

"Trivia it is then," Chris announced.

The three contestants sat in front of Chris, who was now wearing his black suit.

"Alright!" Chris announced, "here's how it works: I ask a question to somebody and they have to answer. If they answer correctly, they get a point. The first person to answer three questions correct wins three points, the second person gets two and the loser gets three. Ezekiel, since you chose the challenge, you go first! What is the only element that begins with the letter K?"

"Krypton!" Ezekiel answered confidentially.

"Correct! Next up is Lindsay! What Mexican holiday involves eating chocolate coffins and sugar skulls?"

"Um..." Lindsay thought, "Halloween?"

"Nope!" Chris said, "The correct answer is Dia De Los Muertos! Samey, it's your turn: how many U.S. states border the Gulf of Mexico?"

Sammy counted on her fingers, "Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida. That was five."

"Correct!" Chris announced, "now it's time for Ezekiel to go for his second point! Which European explorer introduced pigs to North America?"

"Christopher Columbus."

"Correct! Lindsay, which explorer was mistaken for a god when he landed in Hawaii in 1779?"

"Um...Abe Lincoln?"

Chris face-palmed, "No, Lindsay. Abe Lincoln was not an explorer. The correct answer is James Cook."

"Aw," Lindsay sighed, "but I was so close!"

"Um...sure...Samey, your question is: What sport does Michael Jordan play?"

"Basketball," Sammy answered correctly.

"Good job. Ezekiel. If you answer this correctly, you win the game. If you answer wrong, Sammy will have a chance to steal and win the game. Your question is: which planet of the solar system was the first to be discovered by the telescope?"

"Uranus!"

"Correct!" Chris shouted. "Ezekiel gets three points, Samey gets two and Lindsay gets one! Let's go to the deck of shame to see who gets the boot!"

DECK OF SHAME

"The scores have been calculated," Chris said. "Samey, with seven points, you get first place. You're going to the finale!"

"YES!" Sammy screamed, pumping her fist and jumping up and down. When she realized her two friends were on the chopping block, she settled down and giggled sheepishly, "Uh...good luck guys!"

And Samey will be competing against

"Ezekiel!"

"YES!" the prairie boy screamed almost as excited as Sammy. He stopped when he noticed Lindsay looking heartbroken.

"Sorry, Lindsay," Ezekiel said.

"No biggie," Lindsay smiled, "I didn't really need that money. I just wanted to hang with you guys!"

"So you don't feel like a fan fiction writer who doesn't get reviews on his work?" Ezekiel asked.

"Of course not!" Lindsay answered, "I can't imagine how bad that must feel! Chris, do I have to get a lifeboat?"

"Normally yes, but today is a special day," Chris said, "and we've got some very special people waiting to see you guys!"

"Is my family here?" Lindsay's face glowed, "I missed daddy so much!"

"No, I had some other people in mind," Chris smiled.

"Like who?" Lindsay asked.

"Like me!" Tyler said to his girlfriend as he walked up to her.

"Tyler!" Lindsay screamed, hugging the jock and bringing him in for a long kiss.

"What-ever! Can you two suck face somewhere else? It's disgusting!" Heather had entered the scene. Lindsay and Tyler paid her no mind.

"Normally, I wouldn't agree with her, but could you please tone it down?" Eva was back and looking stronger than ever.

"Aww, I think it's pretty adorable!" Izzy said as she swooped down on the two kissing athletes.

"Hey," a boy's voice sounded, "Why don't we ever do that, Sammy?"

"DAVE!" Sammy ran up and hugged her boyfriend in a manner that would make the biggest bears jealous.

Dave couldn't help but giggle at this reception.

"I didn't want to kiss you because you feared the germs," Sammy said.

"Your germs would only love me as much as you do." The two embraced in their first kiss.

"Aww," Dakota cooed, "I've always supported them as a couple!"

"Me too, chica," Alejandro leaned on her shoulder.

"Eew! Get off of me! I have a boyfriend!" Dakota scolded, shoving Alejandro.

Sky was the next to enter. She looked very guilty.

"Hey, guys," Sky said, "Hey Dave, Sammy, I'm so sorry about what I did."

"It's unforgivable," Dave said.

Sky put her head down. A tear trickled down her cheek.

"It's unforgivable what I did. I acted like an immature little kid. I decided to completely ignore you when you repeatedly apologized. I acted like you didn't matter to me anymore. Like I was completely over you. I was a jerk to you. I realized that after it was too late. Or so I thought."

Sky smiled and nodded.

"That's it?" Dakota asked, "This season's biggest conflict is resolved and that's it? Not even a handshake?"

Dave extended his hand, but Sky wrapped her arms around him in a big bear hug, tears still falling from her eyes. Dave politely returned the hug, and although he'll deny it if you ask him, he shed a few tears as well. The other teens cheered. Even Chris looked touched.

"And, Sammy," Sky said, "I was a total ass to you. Can you forgive me?"

"Of course," Sammy said, smiling with a tear falling from her eye as well, "I wish we could've been better friends."

"Me too," Sky smiled.

"Don't start getting all teary-eyed on me!" a female voice said, "if you all start crying, then I'll start crying and you do not want that to happen!"

Courtney was back. Sammy ran up and hugged her friend.

"Back off blondie!" an obnoxious, raspy voice said, "she's all mine!"

Scott was back, wearing his trademark sinister grin.

"Don't forget about me!" Rodney said, running, but he tripped.

The next person to enter was a scrawny boy in a wheelchair. "Hey," Noah said, "no hard feelings, right?"

He received a few nasty glares.

"Noted," he gulped.

"Aww, don't be so hard on the poor dude!" Geoff redirected as he entered, "Everyone makes mistakes, right?"

"Geoff!" Bridgette ran up to the muscular boy, but fell down in the process.

Geoff helped her up, "nice to see you again, too!"

Trent entered, smiling, but didn't want to kill the moment, so he remained silent.

The next ex-contestant wasn't so considerate.

"Darn tootin'!" Sugar yelled, "I know y'all missed me! You regret votin' me off first?"

"No," Scott said, clinging to Courtney.

"Not really," Eva said.

"No way Jose!" Izzy grinned (Alejandro winced at the mention of his brother).

"I didn't vote for you if it makes you feel better," Shawn said as he walked onto the deck.

"Aww!" Sugar said, "thank you! Are the zombies still comin'?"

"Nah," Shawn said, "that whole thing with Zeke was a false alarm. He had a pulse."

Ezekiel couldn't help but smile. He couldn't believe this boy was for real.

Brick came in and saluted his former competitors. Most of them saluted back (in case you care, Heather, Sugar and Noah abstained. The latter mostly because it hurt to move his arms still).

Chris did a quick head count, but only counted twenty-one teenagers.

"Who are we missing?" Chris asked himself.

"That would be me,"

"Oh, right," Chris said, "it's just..."

"Ella!" Ezekiel ran to hug his princess.

"Ezekiel! I missed you so much!" Ella squealed. She held the prairie boy close and sang a quiet song to him while she stroked his hair.

"Contestants! Ex-contestants! Others," Chris glared at Amy and Topher who had just shown up, "today is a momentous occasion! Total drama high seas is down to two finalists! Get time to bond again. Catch up and talk, but don't rub anyone the wrong way because the former contestants will be crucial to your success in tomorrow's final challenge!"

The teenagers cheered and went off in groups as if nothing had speedsters them in the first place.
