Sorry it has been so long... Here you are.
I walked out the room as quickly as possible, before i threw Rae against the wall bound in the chair still. I needed to find Chloe before i lost all control. She was in this house i had heard her, i just have to find where exactly she is. stopping only when i heard a sound coming from the closed door a scratching against it, slowly opening it i waited a few seconds after swinging the door open to enter used to many surprise attacks. Chloe was there in wolf form, waiting patiently for me tilting her head as if asking what took me
so long.
A relieved sigh escaped me as I knelt in front of her.
"I'd thought you disappeared" i whispered, ignoring the eye roll that I received. I needed the reassurance of her presence so I touched her face stroking it softly before I dug my hands into her fur bringing her closer to me. Chloe waiting patiently for me to reassure myself, recent events had made me even more certain to chain her to my side. Not that she would ever allow me to do that though. I knew she could look after herself but with everything being new once more we had to be careful.
She huffed, wiggling out my grip as I felt her muscle twitch - she was changing back. Rooting through the draws in the room I found a pair of sweatpants that would just about fit her slim waste line. I couldn't find a tshirt anywhere. Chloe quickly pulled on the pants and i threw her my own top seeing no other options, hopefully the pack had some spare clothes.
She smiled her thanks before pulling it over her head, the sleeves were too long for her and it hung at her knees. The picture of adorableness in my opinion, seeing Chloe in my clothes always made me happy with a possessive pleasure knowing that she was mine.
"You find Rae?" She asked, wrapping her arms around my waist laying her head on my chest.
"Unfortunately yes. I left her with the pack, to find you." I reply kissing the top of her head inhaling her scent once more.
She looked up at me her blue eyes captivating me, Simon joked I was whipped he had no idea.
Running her fingers along my abs she purred.
"Why do you wear tops again?" She asked, her fingers trailing in circles on my bare skin making me rumble though Chloe swears its a purr.
When her fingers ran over the scar to the right of my heart just under my collar bone, i jumped a little at the contact. A thin jagged scar ran under her fingertips a reminder of what had happened in the past. Lightly she trailed soft kisses were her fingertips had left a fiery trail on the scar.
"Guys! Hey! You can't just leave me here." Rae yelled, making me and Chloe wince as she shrieked.
Sighing, we joined hands before we left the room to investigate.
Chloe POV
Rae was screaming her abuse, without any sign of exhaustion. Her voice bounced off the houses walls making my head ache, my senses had been on high alert ever since I entered the house.
It had gone to plan until my skin began to itch, I had immobilised those who were most a threat to Derek when he came in after me. Then I shut myself in an unoccupied room knowing that I had to prevent them from discovering what I had become, once they knew I would be the number one priority once more. I had been able to push through the change without any particular loud cries of pain. Liz had disappeared as was the ghosts custom. After my change was complete i waited patiently for Derek to find me.
Trying not to laugh at his antics i allowed Derek his time to reassure himself that I was as real as could be. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried chaining me to his side the expression on his beautiful features spoke volumes of his worry.
However the moment
couldn't last as my body was eager to return to its original form. I was thrown clothing pulling the sweats on quickly and sending Derek a grateful smile as I tugged on his top.
Asking about Rae and joining the pack was cast from my brain as I marvelled at Derek's bare chest. His well defined abs were firm under my finger tips I giggled slightly as he purred under my touch. The scars that matched my own and were the evidence of our past were each bestowed a kiss before I was jolted from my seduction by Rae's voice. Grumbling about timing I entwined my hand with Derek's reluctant to give up touch so soon and went towards the direction of Rae's ever increasing pitch.
Opening the door I discovered Rae strapped to a chair and the blonde couple standing in the doorway looking bored. They raised their eyebrows at our appearance but didn't voice any questions. Rae's reaction was almost funny.
"Chloe! Thank God you're here, these psychos refuse to let me go. I mean if they just untied my hands ill be fine but no-" her rant was cut short once her attention was taken by staring shamelessly at Derek's chest. The man in question scowled in frustration and crossed his arms in an attempt to cover himself, succeeding in drawing Rae's focus upon his biceps instead. It took all my control not to rip her head off for staring at him, my irrational violent thoughts stunned me for a second
"Derek, why don't you go find a shirt. Poor Rae is practically drooling." I told him, nodding to Derek who was reluctant to leave me so soon. "Rae can't hurt me, remember."
Dragging his feet and glaring at Rae Derek left the room followed by Clay who had been given instructions by Eleanor to help find a shirt.
"Wow, Chloe you did good." Rae commented as soon as they left the room, completely forgetting the fact that Derek could still hear her. I just shook my head at her how shallow she was, before untying her hands and allowing her to do the rest. Eleanor looked at me as if she was about to say something before leaning casually against the wall giving off the faux air of relaxation when in fact she was still tense prepared for anything.
"What have you gotten yourself into this time Rae?" I ask, watching as she disintegrated her bounds on a mere touch. Stretching Rae shook out her copper mane running her fingers through the locks wincing at the discovery if multiple knots.
"Nothing, I'm innocent in this kidnapping for once." I eyed her trying to gage if she was telling the truth or not. Elena snorted at the term innocent as soon as it escaped Rae's mouth. Making the fire demon turn towards the Pack werewolf with a menacing scowl that I soon sidetracked.
"Where's the supernatural then?" I question, I had yet to encounter one which was disconcerting.
"Right here." I low voice stated from behind me, I turned to see Elena with a gun pointed to her head as well as Derek and Clay who were being escorted into the room by four large males two each. We had been too distracted by Rae to even check the house was clear, amateur mistake. They could of easily overpowered them but one look from Elena an Clay stopped struggling, Derek was watching me cautiously for a reaction. We knew it was futile to struggle it only made it harder to escape. By the dark look Clay was giving Derek he hadn't tried fighting at all.
The man who had spoke wore an expensive suit, tailored to his form quite well. A grey stubble ran across his chin as did the bags that dangled from under the eyes; each showing the sleepless nights. I stared once I saw his face a broken sob escaped me. I shook my head as I backed up hoping it was a dream.
"Chloe, you have to breathe calm down." Derek spoke quietly, low enough not to be overheard by anyone without werewolf enhanced hearing. If I worked myself up i would be likely to start to change or raise a body accident. I took calming breathes.
The man in the suit advanced upon my position making me retreat until I hit a wall. Rae had been advanced from behind and was quickly sedated before she realised, her cry of outrage only half formed before she slumped to the floor.
"Now Chloe, is that the way to great me ?" He taunted, a dark gleam in his eye as he spoke.
"You can't be here," I responded unable to say anything but denials "no it's a trick."
I stood up straight, running my hand through my hair I closed my eyes for a second before staring at the man and i began concentrating. I needed to stay calm and focused or I could raise something I wasn't suppose to or loose control of my energy field and hurt someone. I could see the surprise and unease in his eyes once he noticed the glow.
I gave a small nod, never taking my eyes of the man. As they were distracted by my glow Derek sprung into action, his reluctance to struggle had tricked the two males to have a weaker hold upon him. Allowing him to easily break their holds, the men were not as trained as before which meant they soon ended lying unconscious on the floor. The room was a chaos of surprised shouts, grunts of pain and even a snap of a bone. Shortly joined by the man with the gun and Clays guards as well. The Pack did not seem happy about almost being taken and showed their anger through the violent strikes against the captures. The guards that had tranquillised Rae had better combat training so with stood the onslaught the longest but were soon over powered by the three werewolves.
The man stood in front of the whole escapade watching me not the actual werewolves or the action showing no fear of those that posed the most threat to hon, reaching out his placed his hand upon my cheek stroking it with back of his hand whilst he whispered a word I couldn't understand then he disappeared. Into thin air, I stood shocked for a second looking around at the array of fallen bodies. Shaking I clasped my hands to keep them still as my body finally subcomed to the shock of what I have just witnessed.
My vision began to fade, I couldn't focus on anything. Opening my mouth nothing escaped I couldn't speak. I felt rather then saw myself beginning to fall.
"Chloe!" Derek yelled as I felt his arms wrap around me preventing me from hitting the floor.
Everything went black.
