Lisbon smiled when she saw Jane walk in,Lisbon bounced off of her chair and walked towards them.
"Hey."Jane said and pecked her lips.
"Hi."Lisbon replied
Michelle smiled up at her mom and started to babble.
"Hello Little one."Lisbon said bending down and taking Michelle out of her carrier.
Michelle giggled when Lisbon kissed her cheek sloppily. Lisbon smiled and sat down on Jane's brown leather couch. When Teresa looked into Michelle's eyes she saw Anne and started to cry.
"Teresa what's wrong?" Jane asked with concern.
"Every time I look into Michelle's eyes I see Anne and It hurts because a parent lost their child and if Michelle every got taken away from me, I don't know what I would do."Lisbon explained.
Jane could feel her pain, he could also feel the parents who lost lost the little girls pain.
"Teresa I know how you feel, I lost Charlotte and Every time I look at Michelle's face I see Charlotte and I feel sad but then I also see you, and then I remember you are giving me a second chance to be a good husband and a good father. I sometimes am still sad that I don't have Charlotte or Angela, and then I look at you and your beautiful smile and I feel happy again, because you have and still are bringing Love, Joy, and Happiness back into my life and I love you.I promise you that I won't let anyone take our daughter from us."Jane said and wiped her tears with the pad of his thumb.
"I love you too Patrick." Teresa said.
They spent a few moments looking into each other eyes lovingly, but that was stopped by Michelle babbling. They smiled and looked down at her, her big green innocent eyes starting up at them with Love.
"Let's go get some lunch."Jane said getting up.
"Let's."Lisbon said and Jane helped her up.
They walked to the elevator door smiling. They might not be perfect family, but they were dang close in their opinion.
