The King of the Southern Isles made a point of always being the last to arrive because he knew it made the plotters against him overly cocky and the cowards even more fearful. And yet, Hans had ended up being the biggest traitor of all his younger brothers. And yet, ultimately the most useful, the King thought as he glanced up at his new bodyguard. Tadashi was in a dress uniform, dead eyes peering from underneath the standard issue hat. He watched with malicious glee as his weapon slammed the door behind him, and entered the room where his remaining brothers waited. First came the sounds of coughing. And yawning. And nausea? He had made himself king of the southern isles by murdering his own parents and now his weapon was at work to make sure none of his brothers would be able to do the same. Smoke wifted from under the door, and the King stepped away, forming a smile far too pleasant for someone who had just become an only child.
Or so he thought.

Abby knew the Hamada brothers were very good kids, maybe to a fault, but still the scene before her was not what she had expected. She wasn't about to forgive her father for what he'd tried to do to Krei- at least not yet, but Hans had done something at least as bad and yet...
They were bot fighting. The bed had been pushed into a corner and Baymax sat on it, his puffy legs dangling off the side.
But Hiro and Hans were sprawled out on the floor and they were bot fighting?! "Where did you even get those?" Abby asked. "Wasabi said to plan for all sorts of contingencies, so I packed a couple battlebots and Tadashi's hat and..." Hiro said, never losing focus.
Abby studied Hans. He was most certainly a newbie at this but... Abby was reminded of when she'd first started interning at Krei's company. Her father had gotten stuck in traffic (they carpooled to be green) and she had talked Krei into bot fighting with her. She was this close to beating Krei had but he was a challenging opponent- presumably because of all the boardrooms he'd navigated. She was about to take him down when the limo door opened, revealing Robert Callaghan clearly torn between relief that she and Krei were only going at it with battle bots and horror that the internship hadn't curtailed that particular hobby- that it may have just intensified.
Hans was no less a schemer than Hiro despite his inexperience and it was fascinating watching them battle it out. Abby sat down next to Baymax, "I play the winner, alright?"
