Chapter 13
Kululu was sitting in his old lab simultaneously watching the group carry Mois back, looking over footage from when they were gone and running scans on her to see if the problem was biological. Saburo was sitting back and relaxing while looking at the screen that showed the stats on one of his secret projects. "So why are you so concerned about Mois?" Saburo questioned randomly.
*Crack* Kululu's glasses broke as he turned to Saburo. "I do not have a thing for Mois." Saburo couldn't help it he burst out laughing at the blonde now-Pekoponian. "I didn't say you had a thing for Mois, but that now that you mention it."
By the time Saburo got his laughter under control Kululu had decided to act as though he had not heard him. It was quiet for a few minutes except for the furious clacking of the keys on Kululu's key board. Curious as to why Saburo was not pushing the point Kululu turned around to check. Saburo was staring at him in what appeared to be pity.
"Saburo I do NOT have a thing for that entirely too innocent and naïve little thing. It is ludicrous to even suggest that I would even like to be associated to it let alone be in a relationship with it. The only reason that I put up with it is to cause mayhem to Keroro and the others as it is easy to manipulate and ridiculously trusting."
Saburo shook his head. "Whatever you say Kululu," Saburo said earning himself a dark look.
"Why don't you go help the others get Mois into the base? They seem to be having trouble getting her down the ladder. That is a task you can do better than looming over there speaking nonsense."
Another pitying look. "I didn't say anything." After this last statement he strolled out of the lab to go help the others or possibly just to watch them try to get her down.
The computer had finished its computations about why Mois was acting strange…
With Everyone
"Watch her head."
"Don't drop her."
"Keroro stop looking at that Gundam and help Giroro."
Saburo couldn't help but be amused by Giroro and Natsumi attempting to fit Mois down the little trap door and coordinate the attention deficit former Keronians. "Saburo stop laughing over there and help Giroro." Saburo decided the fun was over after all he didn't want a mad evil scientist to try and use him in an experiment for letting his not-crush get hurt. They quickly got the girl down into the lab with an interesting stop at the mini-fridge.
The group turned to the door once they had Mois situated on the bed. Five minutes later Kululu walked in muttering to himself before climbing onto the bed and straddling Mois. Everyone stared wide eyed before Keroro began sputtering. "W-w-what are you doing Kululu?"
"Checking to see if the computer was correct about what is wrong with Mois," Kululu stated in a bored tone as he began to unbutton her blouse. Keroro leapt into action. "Stop right there. That is a big NO!" The girls and Fuyuki were blushing and frozen in horror. Saburo was whispering something to Tamama who smiled gleefully. Keroro was the only one actively trying to stop Kululu.
Kululu shoved Keroro off and continued his task. "Relax I'm not unbuttoning its shirt all the way, just a few buttons so that I can see its neck. The computer scan says that the collar that Natsumi used to wear is active on its person. See," Kululu said, pointing to the familiar collar on Mois's neck.
Everyone relaxed and Keroro muttered a quiet "why didn't you just say so?" Everyone shuffled forward to get a better look. Keroro's eyes narrowed, he couldn't help but notice that Kululu did not seem inclined to move. He was about to say something, but stopped when he noticed Mois was awake and watching Tamama like a snake waiting to strike and the only thing keeping her from moving was Kululu.
"Uhhh… Guys, Mois is awake," Keroro said, dragging Tamama away by his arm. Kululu looked down and smirked. "It's rude of me to sit on her while it is awake. I'll get off now."
"NO Stay there. You're the only thing stopping her from rampaging." Keroro moved in front of Tamama. "Can you remove the collar, Kululu?"
"No it appears that someone changed the password," Kululu said, turning to eye a guiltily blushing Giroro. "I didn't change the password. I just made it so that only one person could say the password to remove it."
The look Kululu sent Giroro promised a world of painful experiments in the future. "You made it so that only I could say the password and remove the collar from the person wearing it," he said, in a voice that could make even the most stoic of demons blanch in fear and quiver where they stood. Kululu turned back to the girl under him.
"I will deal with you later Giroro. Now everyone get out." Keroro immediately began to protest being told to leave as he was the leader and he wasn't leaving Kululu alone with his precious niece. As he voiced this though a dark aura enveloped Kululu looking like a giant tentacle creature and his glasses glinted menacingly. "Why would I do anything to it? I am not thinking any untoward thoughts about your niece and you will LEAVE."
There was a desperate scramble to the exit after he had finished.
Kululu looked down and began to recite the dreaded password. When he finished a soft click echoed in the mostly empty room and he immediately removed the dreaded device.
"Kululu..?" a hesitant voice questioned. He looked down into the softly glistening eyes. "Hello Mois," he responded. Three seconds passed before a squeal of pure joy sounded and he found himself enveloped in the girl's arms as she sobbed in happiness. "I can't believe you guys are back. You left me all alone with only the Pekoponians and ghost for company. I was so lonely so I decided to use Natsumi's wings to leave the planet but then everything is blurry." Kululu looked down at her. "Can't you fly on your own?" he questioned.
She froze then began to bawl again. "The loneliness must have made me forget."
Kululu sighed and awkwardly patted her back. "Please stop crying. You'll upset Keroro if he sees you crying." Her crying tapered off into quiet sniffles. Then she began to smile sweetly at him.
"You're so nice. Thank you." Kululu immediately looked horrified and climbed off of her. "That is absurd. The only reason I mentioned Keroro being upset with you crying is that he would assume I was the reason and he would get on my nerves. As such there is no reason to thank me. Also we will not mention a thing that has happened in this room outside of it." With his piece said he purposely strode from the room.
Mois smile got even wider. 'I missed you too Kululu.'
She sat up and climbed off the bed then skipped form the room. 'Uncle Keroro is outside the door. I wonder what he looks like as a Pekoponian.'
A week later
Mois was watching Kululu as he typed on his computer. It obviously didn't matter what species he was his speed when typing on computers was un-paralleled. His fingers showed no hesitation and there was not a single mistake made even with his speed. "Why are you here Mois?" Kululu said, without looking away from his screen. "You're hands are really nice."
Kululu's typing ground to a screeching halt. "What does that have to do with why you are in my lab?"
Mois looked into his eyes as he turned to her for her answer. "It makes me want to hold them." Shock was quite clear on Kululu's face. "THAT IS STILL NOT AN ANSWER AS TO WHY YOU ARE IN MY LAB!"
Mois blinked then began to giggle. "You're right. I wanted to ask you something."
Kululu sighed when after a moment of silence she was waiting for him to acknowledge her. "And what would that be?" She smiled winningly at him. "Do you really like me, like Saburo said?"
*Crack* Glasses broken Kululu froze and he slowly turned back to his screens. "No"
She smiled. "He said if your glasses cracked when I asked it was a yes. We're going on a date tomorrow. I can't wait to tell Uncle." With her piece said she happily skipped off, leaving Kululu in shock at his station.
'Saburo is dead. Not even his pen will be able to save him. There shall be no place for him to hide.' Kululu slowly began to smile. "Kukukukuk"
