Chapter 3

Three Stories

"You're not really a conversation starter, are you?" The two were sitting together in the cornfield. Emma looked up from playing with her matted hair, sitting comfortably with her knees together laying down in front of her. Dark Pit sat close legs criss-cross, eating an apple and occasionally looking up. That simple crunch of the fruit was loud and clear, sinking in with the noises of buzzing bugs and chirps of morning birds. The morning breeze was chilly but the sun which glowed the fields, warmed every crack of darkness. For some reason it reminded the angel of SkyWorld, wondering what was happening with out him. The voice of a princess broke his thoughts of home, "and you really like apples."

"Hmm." A quick glance up to meet the girl's green eyes. "It the only thing I like here, on the surface."

Overnight, Pittoo's wounds had healed right up without trouble and Emma tried not to look impressed. Any cut or scratch was completely gone, not even leaving a mark. About the apples, the girl wondered how the sky food would taste like. Would it really be any different? As the angel finished up his snack, Emma hummed a light melody and braided her hair. Nothing disturbed the two while they enjoyed each others company. And once Dark Pit had finished he got up and scratched out his wings, this caught Emma off guard. If anyone saw him, what would the people say? More importantly what will they do if they found out Emma was with an angel. No more quiet peace.

Emma's face said it all, worried where her new friend will fly off to. "I'll go crazy if I stay here any longer." Pittoo crossed his arms, looking down to the girl. "... and I want more apples."

The girl smiled and guided him back to the dirt road. Coast was clear, so it was easy to get to Emma's favorite place to relax. The small meadow with the broken windmill, the same place where she saw DP fall from the sky. Before they could go into the town, Dark Pit needed a disque. He stood there while Emma got out a large dark cloak. It was ripped at the bottom but all in all it was fine.

"Hmhm!" Another smile lightened up the girl's face. "Ready?" But then she remembered she doesn't know his name. "I'm Emma, by the way."

"Kuro." Replied the angel, and like a dog he followed her to the town.

:D :D :D

Closed eyes, slight breaths, hands down, and a faint heartbeat. Pandora stood beside the King of all thats Dark, slowly he regained his strength, he smirked, "Calamity, what have you been up to as I was gone? That Palutena must of cornered you."

"I hid in the shadows, Hades."

"Hmm I see... Forgive me to be so late. As I crumbled, my rage remained and it took a while for me to awaken one again." The darkness was so cold and the voice of evil striked Pandora's new pure soul. She turned away from the dark but now it comes to pull her right back. "Come closer." commanded the king. With a lift of his fragile hand, he absorbed some of Pandora's powers. Blue light stroke thee darkness like lightning bolts, and was absorbed into the king of all evil. He laughed in power.

Falling, Calamity coughed. Her weakened energy and the curse combined really put a number on her. Throughout all the pain, the most that hurt was the emptiness of her little Kuro. Dawhh Pandoraaaaa. Hades was now able to use his all seeing eyes, "Viridi still wants to destroy all the humans I see. What is holding her back?" there was no answer and he grew impatient, "ANSWER!"

"... I do not know..."

"I can tell that you're lying!"

The goddess gulped and shivered from the risen voice. "... t-the angel..." She got up, "has fallen in love with Viridi..." bowing before the king, Calamity whispered to herself, contacting Palutena who watched everything at her Palace.

Hades then turned his position, "Fetch Thanatos will you. I need to talk to him." Something caught his attention and a simple questioned was asked. "Pandora..."

"Yes, Hades?"

"Are you up to date with that counterpart of Pit?" It was silent, "It seems he's with a little human!" His Laughed echoed and Pandora's eyes opened wide with astonishment. "How ridiculous! All knows that immortals and humans are not meant to be! Haha, how can he listen to a human? Pandora... you must get him and bring him here!" His laughter stopped when Calamity replied.

"No."

"What did you say?"

"You will not lay a finger on that angel," Pandora rose, Dark Pit was literally all she had. If he was gone then there would be no point. The pain disappeared as she remembered the good times. Pranking and playing tricks on the people of the sky and the surface, eating together while watching Clash (SkyWorld's greatest sports entertainment) and of course fighting little pests who went through the portal or just enemies in general. Life was good then, simple and fun. Pandora then marched right up to Hades throne, "he is my responsibility. If I hear you cause any harm to Kuro, I'll kill you in an instant, Hades. I'll kill you myself."

"Know your place Pandora."

"I know it well."

:O :O :O

Pit picked a patch of pretty pink Petaldrops beside the pond LAWL XD. Finishing his tasks early and having some free time, the angel decided to visit his goddess friend. Viridi. He didn't really ask if he could come over to her palace but Pit didn't really think she would mind. With the clouds laying below, separating the surface air from the holy, the large sun stood tall, warming all the corners of Viridi's garden. The Palace was on a floating piece of land just as Palutena's, lush green life filled everything. So flawless, not a leaf out of place. Fountains and ponds added to the peace with it's soft flowing water and crystal look. The monsters that fought Pit were now enjoying themselves, laying in the fields, supporting the plants are flying around.

Without Hades or Medusa, all was happy.

"Shh..." The angel held up a single finger to his lips, signaling to the forest creatures to stay quiet. They all knew Pit well, so they didn't mind and just continued on with their lives. Temptation crept onto the hero as he saw the Nature Goddess sitting at a meadow picking some flowers to breed. His plan was to scare her but Pit looked around, noticing the forest creatures keeping an eye on him closely. Might not be such a good idea. A light bulb lit over Pit's head as he grabbed some long stem flowers, he braided them together creating another crown, similar to the one he made yesterday. He made two, and plopped one over his head. Then he approached Viridi carefully, not to be heard, and laid the other crown over the Goddess's hair.

"What the..?" Viridi took the crown and looked up, to meet with Pit's blue eyes. "Pit?"

He beamed, taking a seat next to Viridi, "Hey."

The Goddess was not amused, not at all. She got up, flipped her hair and stalked off throwing the lusious crown away and forgotten. Heading into her Castle of living greenery and attending to her work.
