Weiss slowly opened her eyes. She starred up at the bare white ceiling above her. Something was different, she still had her powers, she could feel them, but there was something more. She felt, stronger. Her hearing was different she could, everything. It took her a few moments but she managed to block the back ground noise out, just, She looked around the room, sitting in seats to her left was Ruby, Blake, Bart and Yang, who had dozed off and was snoring softly.

"Weiss!" Ruby beamed, waking Yang up in a fright. The team moved over to Weiss and Ruby pulled her into a deep hug. "Thank God you're alright!" Ruby exclaimed as she continued to squeeze Weiss.

"Ahh huh," Weiss awkwardly responded.

"How did I get here?" She asked. The last thing she remembered was being abducted into the black ship by Milton Fine.

"We were sought of hoping you could answer that," Bart explains.

"What do you mean?" Weiss asked. What happened to her.

"Weiss, we, um, we sought of found you unconscious at the front of the school. That was three days ago" Yang revealed. Weiss's eyes widened with shock. How did she end up at school and why was she unconscious for so long.

"Weiss, what's the last thing you remember?" Bart queried. Him and Clark might be able to investigate her last known location and look for any clues. Speaking of Clark, Weiss had begun to wonder where he was. The truth was that Clark wanted to be here, he really did. However, with Weiss knowing his secret, combined with her powers and mood swings she was to unpredictable and Clark wasn't sure how she'd react when she saw him.

"The last thing I remember is standing in a field, in Smallville. Lex Luthor was there," she responds nervously, remembering what had happened. Then this black, space ship came over us. It sucked him in. I was about to run when, Professor Fine appeared. He grabbed me and said he was making final preparations," she explained. Everyone except Bart gives her odd looks. She defiantly hit her head.

"Preparations for what?" Bart asked, the only one believing her story.

"I don't know," Weiss mumbled.

Clark was sitting in the library thinking about Weiss. A gust of wind signals Bart's arrival.

"Bart! Someone could have see you!" Clark exclaims at his friends super fast appearance.

"Don't worry I was careful, but that's not the important part. Weiss woke up," he reveals.

"I know," Clark responds.

"What? How?" Bart asks, confused. Clark points to his ear.

"Super hearing," he reminds his friend.

"Oh right. Well then you know what Weiss said about Fine being back."

"Unfortunately."

"I thought we destroyed him in the fortress," Bart remembers.

"We did."

"Then how is he still around and what does he want with Weiss and Lex?" Bart asks the question they're both wondering.

"I don't know," Clark truthfully answers.

"Maybe your father at the fortress could help us out," Bart suggests.

"No!" Clark snaps. "Jor-El and I don't exactly see eye to eye. After all, his warning that someone I care about is going to die is yet to come." Clark of course told Bart about how he had died and how Jor-el brought him back. "I know you've been there before, but it was a mistake to take you there and I put your life at risk. I will not take that chance again."

"I know your only doing what you think is right but we need all the help we can get. Especially if Fine is involved," Bart reminds his friend.

Fortress of Solitude

There is a blinding flash of white light as Clark teleports in from the caves in Smallville.

"Hello, my son," Jor-El greets the young Kryptonian.

"Fine has returned," Clark announces, getting straight to the point. "He's here to release Zod. What am I supposed to do?"

"Fine is merely an extension of the craft that can regenerate into any form," Jor-El reports.

"If Fine is part of the ship then whose controlling it?" Clark asks desperate for answers.

"It's not just a ship. It is the Brain Interactive Construct," the A.I. reveals. "An advanced technology that will stop at nothing till its master, Zod, has been released."

"There's got to be some way to stop him."

"There is one way," Jor-El answers cryptically. "Zod was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone for crimes that lead to the destruction of our planet."

"Zod killed you," the realisation suddenly hits Clark.

"And your mother. And our entire race," He sadly informs. "Just as he will do on Earth."

"I won't let that happen!" Clark shouts, he will stop at nothing to protect Earth.

"Zod's physical body was destroyed to prevent him from escaping the Phantom Zone. He can be freed if he finds a vessel to inhabit," Jor-El explains. From the console a dagger floats out of it. The handle is made from the same type of crystal as the rest of the Fortress but the blade is made from an ancient Kryptonian metal. Along the side the blade are a series of Krytonian symbols. "You must find the human vessel and destroy it," Jor-El orders. A wave of horror comes over Clark when he realises who could be the vessel. "No matter who it may be." Jor-El adds.

Beacon Academy

Clark and Bart are sitting in Professor Qzpin's office. Clark had just completed his story on his trip to the Fortress.

"Woah! I've heard about father's demanding a lot from their sons but asking you to commit a murder!" Bart exclaims in disbelief.

"Bart, I'm not killing anyone," Clark states.

"There's got to be another way," Ozpin suggests. "What about this Vessel, why doesn't Zod become fully composed?" Ozpin asked, hoping that more detail and supply some answers.

"All, Jor-El told me was that Zod's spirit would posses a human," Clark reports.

"Do you have any idea on who that could be?" Ozpin asks.

Clark remembered who he thought of back in the Fortress.

"It, it might be Weiss," he suggests his tone grave at the thought of what could be happening to his friend.

"That's why the ship took her," Bart sees Clark's logic.

"True, but Lex was there as well," Ozpin reminds the two. "Why would he prepare both of them?"

"I don't know," Clark responds. "But from what we're saying, I have to kill Lex and Weiss."

At the other end of the school a certain white haired, blue eyed, super powered huntress in training managed to catch Clark's last sentence as she got the hang of her super hearing. Her expression turns to one of pure rage as she super speeds away.

Luthor Mansion

Lex's eyes shoot open. He jumps up and looks around the room he's in. It takes him a few moments before he he realises he's in his bedroom at the mansion. How the hell did end up here. The last thing he remembers was being abducted by the black ship. He makes his way to the study to find Lana pacing around the room, talking to someone on the phone. Her eyes widen when she notices Lex. She drops the phone and races over to him, enveloping him in a passionate kiss.

"Lex, thank God you're alright," she beamed.

"Lana, how did I get here?" Lex asks as he pulls away from her.

"I, I don't know," she replies. "I woke up and you were gone. Then three days ago we found you unconscious at the front of the mansion," she explains. Now it's Lex's turn to be shocked.

"Three days!"

"Lex what happened to you?" She asks desperate to know it her boyfriend is alright.

"I was abducted," he reveals. "I still have my powers but I feel, stronger." Lex can feel it, there's more now. He doesn't know what the ship did to him but what he does know is that he's more powerful then ever. The couple begin to kiss when there is a knock on the study doors. "Who is it?" Lex demands, angered at being interrupted. The doors open to reveal Weiss, standing there smiling.

"Lex, how wonderful to see you!" Weiss beams at the sight of her old friend. There father's had had meetings together when they were kids and Weiss and Lex knew each other.

"Weiss," Lex greets her, slightly suspicious about her sudden appearance. He also remembers seeing her right before he was abducted.

"We need to talk," she demands. "In private," She adds the last part nodding towards Lana.

"It's okay Weiss, I told her about me," he explains knowing that this has something to do with their powers and the black ship.

"When I say in private, I mean in private," Weiss replies firmly. With that she super speeds up to Lex grabs him and races away.

A mile away the two come to a halt.

"Jesus Weiss!" Lex shouts at the craziness of Weiss's actions. "What is it that's so important that who literally had to carry me out of my mansion.

"It's Clark, who know Clark Kent, the guy who used to be your best friend. Anyway I overheard him talking. He said he was going to kill you and then me," she reveals. "Just thought you should know," she adds sarcastically.

Lex thinks this over for a few seconds.

"Oh and it gets worse. Wait till I tell you the lies and reveal the real Clark Kent," she teases.

Beacon Academy

Clark stands alone in his room, contemplating on his current predicament. Bart had tried to help but Clark had politely requested to be alone for awhile. He couldn't kill anyone, especially his friend. Why did Brainiac prepare Lex and Weiss? What is going on? When is this all going to happen? These are the thought going through Clark's head as he stares out the window.

"Good to see you again Kal-El," comes a voice from behind him. Clark tenses as he recognises it. He spins around, ready for anything. Standing there is Brainiac in the form of Milton Fine.

"What have you done to my friends!" Clark demands, his anger overwhelming him.

"Everything I did, I did the prepare them. It started with creating the super serum, designed to give them the strength and speed of a Kryptonian. This way when I altered their DNA to turn them into true Kryptonians they would survive the procedure," he explains.

"But why prepare both of them!" Clark demands.

"Ahh, Kal-el. You can't expect me to tell you everything. You'll learn the answers to all your questions soon enough," he replies. "You know who were supposed to be the vessel," Brainjac explains. "But your father's spirit in you was to strong in you," he spits out in disgust. "If you had freed Zod the first time they would have been spared." Clark stares coldly at the living computer. "I'm going to give you one more chance for you to join Zod," Brainiac offers, unusually generous.

"Nothing could make me work for a monster like Zod," Clark snaps back.

"Except your one true weakness, humans," Brainiac spits out. "They're so fragile. They'll never survive without their technology, no matter how crude. Take that away and they'll devolve back into the animals they really are. And you can't save all of them."

"I'll never do what you want," a Clark replies firmly.

"Then it begins," Brainiac states. Clark notices something out of the corner of his eye. He looks down at the dust chamber in his fire sword. The crystal, supposed to be red has gone clear as if all the energy has been drained from it. Clark unsheathes the weapon and tries to ignite it. Nothing.

The black ship flies overhead, invisible and unseen. It is sending out waves of radiation, harmless to humans but with the unique quality to alter dust. All dust in the area was turning clear as the radiation rendered the crystals useless. Once Vale was complete the ship would fly all over the planet and eliminate all dust everywhere.

Clark was prepared to attack Brainiac but stopped when his hearing picked up on the chaos around the city. Without another word Clark sprints away in a blur.

Everything powered by dust began to deactivate, which is pretty much everything. Ruby was with Crimson, Blake, Arthur and Yang. When the power had gone out and they realised their weapons weren't working Bart had raced off in search of clues, he works faster alone.

"Okay this is what we're going to do," Ruby takes charge of the group. "Blake and Arthur, go find Professor Ozpin. See if he knows what's going on and help him anyway you can. Yang, you and Crimson go see if people are trapped in the elevators and try to get them out!," she ordered. "What are you going to do?" Yang asked her little sister.

"I'm going to see if I can find Clark," she answers before rushing off. She pulled out her phone to call him but was disappointed to see it to wasn't working.

Then she remembered something Clark told her. Clark mentioned he had super hearing, maybe just maybe he would be able to hear her.

"Clark!" She called out. "Clark I need to speak to you!" A few seconds passed and nothing happened. She sighed aloud, all out of ideas. Suddenly a gust of wind from behind blows her hood over her head. She turns around to see Clark. He almost didn't hear her over all the commotion.

"What's going on?" Ruby asked, hoping Clark had more of an idea then she did.

"Somehow dust isn't working anymore," Clark answers. He couldn't tell her about Brainiac because she still didn't know about him being an alien.

"Where have you been?" She asks as she only now notices his appearance. His jacket is burnt and he's covered in dirt. You'd be surprised at how quickly people, go crazy.

"Out," is his only response. Ruby is about to respond when his super hearing picks up on another voice.

"Hello Clark. I heard you wanted to see me." Lex calls out.

"Lex!" Clark shouts back.

"Let's meet," Lex suggests, sounding rather calm. "I'm standing on top of Luthorcorp in Vale. See you soon."

"Lex!" Clark shouts but doesn't get a response. Ruby stares there in wonder at the conversation she had only heard one side of.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"It's Lex, he wants me to meet him on top of Luthor Corp," Clark explains. "I have to go," he announces before turning around and preparing to run.

"Clark wait!" She calls out to him. "I'm coming with you," she demands.

"Not a chance Ruby. You could get hurt," he refuses.

"Clark, I'm a huntress in training, I can take care of myself," Ruby argues.

"No. I'm sorry." With that Clark blurs away.

"Clark!" Ruby calls out as she races after him using her own speed.

Bart raced around town in his impulse costume. He couldn't just standby as the city turned to chaos. He had been helping citizens non-stop but even he wasn't fast enough to stop all this craziness.

Lex stands on top of Luthorcorp watching the city turn to chaos.

"Lex!" a voice calls out from behind him. He turns around to find Clark standing there.

"So what did decide Clark? Are you gonna kill me?" He asks with a slight smile.

"You can't blame me for this Lex. This is your own fault," he states.

"Oh, come on, Clark." Lex snaps. "You love it! Since that day on the bridge you've always seen yourself as my saviour. The one thing that would pull me off the dark path I'd started. See, that's why you cling to the idea that there's still some good in me. You don't wanna face the fact that you might have failed."

"Or maybe I just can't believe someone would have so little will power."

"Well it's a little hard to compete with the iron will power it takes to kill one of your best friends."

There's a gust of wind behind Clark and he turns around to find Weiss.

"I used to think you had this, strong inner core," Weiss explains. "Your so virtuous. And yet you lie, all the time. To me, to the team, to all the people who care about you. What kind of sick person would do that?" She asks as she makes her way to Lex's side.

"The first thing I did when I got my powers was tell Lana. Why? Because I care about her Clark," Lex explains. "Obviously you never cared about Weiss or any of your friends because you chose to keep your gifts a secret. You're the Monster here Clark not me." Clark's taken aback a little now that Lex knows his secret. He can figure out how he learn about his powers, Weiss.

"Lex, Weiss, you guys aren't yourselves," he tries to reason with them.

"Or maybe we're finally who we were a,ways supposed to be," Weiss replies. Faster then the blink of an eye, Weiss sidekicks Clark sending him flying across the roof.

Lex blurs across the roof until he's on top of Clark and begins to punch the teen in the face. Using fighting moves he learned at Beacon Clark flips Lex off and climbs on top of the bald billionaire. He pulls out the Kryptonian dagger and places it against Lex's neck. Weiss is about to intervene when a figure falls from the sky landing right behind Clark and Lex.

"Do it Clark," Brainiac encourages. Clark glances a Brainiac, then Weiss and back at Lex. "Let's see if you're really your father's son," Brainiac taunts. With a shout of rage Clark spins around and throws the dagger straight at Brainiac. To Clark's surprise Brainiac makes no move to defend himself. The dagger cuts deep into Brainiac's chest. Immediately the crystal handle turns red.

At the Fortress of Solitude the crystals making up the main console turn the same red. A few seconds later a beam of red energy in the shape of Zod's family crest shoots out into the sky.

Back at Luthor Corp, Brainiac collapses to his knees.

"What have I done?" Clark demands to know.

"You've opened the portal for Zod!" Brainiac replies a sick smile spread across his face. The beam of energy from the fortress races towards them from the sky above. It impacts with Brainiac causing the crystal handle to light up even brighter. Suddenly a two beams of energy shoot out from the Kryptonian computer. One beam impacts Lex, whilst the other hits Weiss. Clark is sent flying through the air from the shockwaves the energy caused. As the energy transfers into the vessel's they scream out in pain. Finally it stops and with a burst of white energy Brainiac implodes. High above them the Black ship flying over Vale implodes at the exact same time, stopping anymore dust from being altered. Clark picks himself up and races over to Weiss whose back is to him.

"Weiss, are you okay?" He asks cautiously. When there's no response he asks again.

"Weiss?" Finally she turnes around to look at him.

"You have your father's eyes," she notes, adding to Clark's confusion. "Don't you think so?" She asks Lex. Clark looks to Lex, who has a disturbing smile spread across his face.

"Hello Kal-El he greets the young Kryptonion.

"Zod," Clark realises. "Then who are you?" He asks looking at Weiss.

"This is my wife, Faora," Zod reveals as he makes his way over to his love.

"Why are you here?" Clark demands.

"The same reason why anyone would be after being imprisoned like a beast. Revenge," Zod answers. "Your father banished us to an eternal hell," he continues. "Trying to save a doomed race. And in the end the only survivor of his pathetic crusade was his son."

Ruby stops in a few hundred meters from the Luthor Corp building. She hopes she isn't to late. Using all her speed she races up the side of the building.

"Then this is between us," Clark states, trying to protect the rest of the world.

"However, you feel no greater pain then to see others in agony," Weiss reminds him.

"I won't let you destroy this planet like you did Krypton."

"You don't have a choice. Unless you join us," Zod offers.

"I'll never Join you," Clark states with hesitation.

"I hope that's a decision you'll be willing to live with, forever." Zod pulls a silver bracelet from his wrist that Brainiac had given him. The bracket is in the shape of an octagon, with Kryptonian symbols all over it. Zod chucks it at Clark. Luckily Clark just manages to dodge the bracket. Finally Ruby reaches the top of the building and unlike Clark does not have the time to dodge the bracelet.

"Ruby!" Clark shouts as he races towards her. There's a blinding flash of white light. As the light clears both Clark and Ruby are gone.

Zod looks to his wife. They smile at each other and Zod pulls Faora into a deep kiss. Eventually they pull apart smiling at each other.

"We have to find him," Faora notes as she looks out to the city.

"We will," Zod comforts her. "Then we will be a family."

High above the Earth in a crustal square is Clark watching in despair as he is sent away from the planet he loves so much. The square flips sides to reveal Ruby on the other side, trapped and as helpless as Clark. The squat flips over and over again as it flies away from Earth.

Author's Note:

There you have it. The final chapter to the story. I would like to thank Bucio for suggestions and helping me when I was stuck a few chapters back. If anyone has any questions message me or leave a review. As for a sequel, I won't start that till RWBY vol 3 is finished so don't expect anything soon. However I do have some ideas. Thanks.
