Title: Akatsuki Inserts
Summery: One shot series about inserts who are related to one of the Akatsuki members.
"GET THE FUCK OUT!" the loud yell was punctuated by a man being thrown out of the hospital. A pretty blonde girl followed, scowling deeply. "We do not take kindly to assassins." She snarled deeply. Her hands moved, and she smirked as a bird landed on the man, making him scream. "Katsu."
Megumi was one of the few ninja in the bingo book who wasn't hunted down daily. Being a medic-nin in a free hospital helped.
Before she'd joined, the hospital was often taken over by this nin or that nin… it stopped when she joined. Being an explosives expert helped a lot.

Megumi sighed as she strode down the halls, flipping through her latest patient. Akatsuki guy, lost both arms... Huh, that seemed familiar.
"Hello, I'm Megu-" she began opening the door, but stopped, dropping her chart.
"Imouto!" Deidara blurted out as she stuttered,
"A-a-aniki?"
Well… that's why it was familiar.

Megumi and her brother had never really been close as kids. Sure, both were good with explosives and the such, but they never connected. Megumi was burdened by the knowledge of the future she carried, and Deidara… well he was Deidara.
But still, they were family. Didn't mean they were nice though.
"Should have known a dumbass like you would get his arms blown off."
"Can you put them back on, un?"
"What kind of doctor do you think I am? Of course I can, fucker."
"I think you forgot about when we were kids, un. And you blowing up that fish."
"Like you were any fucking better. Oh, Katsu! Katsu! Let's blow up everything. Tehehehehehehehehehehehehe."
"Die in a hole, un."
"Only if you do first."
Okay, so maybe their relationship was a bit more complicated than it first seemed.

Megumi healed him and then kicked him out, not paying attention anymore.
He showed up again, and the two got into a loud fight, blowing up half a nearby clearing, while screaming at one another.

Megumi didn't give two shits about her brother, or so she claimed. When she learned he was injured, she hunted him down, and slapped him around the head, yelling at him for being an idiot.
He tried to kill her after she healed him, but she responded with violence, it was just their way.

Deidara tried to kill her when she worked, and she used a chakra scalpal to remove a kidney in annoyance.
He blew off one of her arms.

Megumi nearly died in an assination attempt- Deidara stopped it, dragging along his partner, much to her annoyance.
Deidara nearly died during the Three Tails kidnapping, but she healed him up.

Megumi did love her brother, it was just… hard for her to connect with him. She was so much older mentally. It was hard to connect.
She wasn't... well in the head. She knew this. A life time of killing, followed by her current one really messes with you. She tries to make up for the past but it's hard to do so as she struggles to figure out how to respond to him.

Deidara loved his sister, he just couldn't understand her. She was so different then anyone else, it was hard to know her.
But it didn't stop him from missing her when she left him with Tobi.

She heard of his death, and cried for the first time in a long time. She'd made the choice to stay out of the future, but when Sasuke appeared before her, she couldn't do it.
She used a paralytic first, shocking him.
"You know, I always he would die being blown up, but to know a little fucker like you caused it, is bullshit." She told him before she removed her outer shirt, showing the mouth visible above her tanktop. Yanking out the string and feeding it to the mouth, she didn't care about the future.
All she wanted to do was make sure her brother's death wasn't in vain.
Shortest chapter yet! (Why, because... honestly I really wanted to have a medic for Deidara's sibling and I ended up wanting her to kill herself for her brother.)
So, Megumi and Deidara never got along, but they did love each other very much, enough for Megumi to kill herself to make sure her brother's death wasn't in vain. Hey, never said she was stable. (She was a psychotic murderer in her first life, and while her brain was mostly healed in her second life, she's still crazy.)
