Title: Akatsuki Inserts
Summery: One shot series about inserts who are related to one of the Akatsuki members.
Obito loved his baby brother. Ling was an angel, so quiet and watchful. He was so cute to!
Obito smiled and waved goodbye to his brother as he went off on his mission.

Ling didn't like to talk much- he never did like attention. His aunt said he was much better than his brother, though she was disappointed his eyes never appeared. Not that Ling cared.
He thought the Uchiha were idiots, and preferred not to be involved with them. Of course, he had to be. He was one.

Obito sighed, as he tried again to get Ling to interact with him, but the kid refused. No matter though, he'd just have to try harder… right?

Obito smiled as he guided his little brother through the hand signs for the fireball. Ling obeyed his brother, not really looking at him.
Ling couldn't bear to be around Obito too much. Ling knew how this story would end, and he couldn't bear to be around some nut job who wanted to bring a girl back who didn't love him to be happy- it was way too weird.

Ling was rather confused by Obito- who was so kind and nice to him. Sure, he'd known before the whole Tobi thing Obito was a nice guy, but can anyone really be this nice? He freaking carried the groceries for old ladies, willingly caught cats daily, and even would bring Ling to team meetings if there was no one else to watch him.
Kakashi was an asshole as a kid, and Rin was way to sugary sweet. Minato was pretty cool though.

When Obito 'died' Ling was starkly reminded of the future. He tried to ignore it though. He wore Obito's goggles and smiled and tried to ignore it…
But he couldn't.

He became a genin right before the Kyubbi attacked. Kakashi held onto him, unable to let him go, the last connection between him and Obito, other than Kakashi's eye.
Ling let him, understanding.

Obito was a good brother. He'd played with Ling, and protected him from bullies.
He knew Ling was okay, from keeping an eye on his brother and popping into check on him.
Kakashi may have killed Rin, but he would protect Ling.

Ling became a Chunin when little Itachi became one. He still didn't have the Sharingan, but that was okay- he didn't want it.
Ling knew that Itachi would one day kill him, and he was fine with it. Death was just Death. He died once, he could do it again.

Ling woke up in a room with Obito sitting on the bed, no mask on.
"HOLY FUCK!" was the first thing past Ling's lips. Obito just chuckled, nervously.
"Uh… hi little brother?"

The companion of Tobi was quite compared to Tobi's loudness. Mada was a silent boy, who simply followed Tobi around and provided help when needed.

Ling stood in the room, staring at his brother. The surgery had succeeded- killing Kakashi for his eye so Ling could have it had been brilliant. Ling had the Ultimate form, as did Obito.
Obito was more powerful, and crazier. He was dangerous- very very dangerous.
Ling wasn't sure how long he himself could hold onto his sanity. Already hate was building in him. He had to act fast.
Obito had been a great brother, kind and sweet. He helped Ling with so many things.
Ling never paid him back, to scared of the future to do so.
Ling slit his brother's throat and then turned the blade on himself, finally paying his brother back.
He set Obito free.
Short, I know… and lame, but I couldn't really get into Ling's character. He's not fun like my crazy characters.
