I awoke and sat up, startled by the sudden experience then slowly calming down as realisation hinted that it was only a dream but it didnt feel like a dream, it felt more like a distant memory of my past which i couldn't recall any of it. ''none of it was real'' I said to myself as I closed my eyes assuring myself, ''oh it was real alright'' the voice causing me to freeze in place as the room got darker, I sensed another presence in the room but I could not see it.
Standing up, I scanned the room ''Hello, who's there'' but there was no reply for a few moments until a deep voice spoke ''oh you know, who I am as I know you, my child'' after that i just froze, that voice that dark, seductive and intimadating voice with its venomous tongue. ''l...Lucifer'' I gulped in worry as I breathed deeply even for a demon, being in the presence of the morning star, the creator of all demons, the devil, the fallen Archangel himself, Lucifer was enough to send chills down my spine.
''Yes, my child, you have done well for yourself'' he said, the outline of his form moved around me but was still out of sight before moving to the fog covered window, drawing his famous sigil on the glass as he spoke ''you're powerful, you know, a useful instrument to help aid my plans for the apocalypse'' as he glanced back towards me with his face still hidden, making me feel uncomfortable with the entire situation I was currently in.
''So what do you want me to do for your plans'' I dared asked, being confident until Lucifer stood up once more making me regret my decision as I crouch down on one knee with my head down hoping he wasnt going to break my neck or make me explode into a spray of blood and gore with just the snap of his fingers for questioning him but it never came.
I felt a hand rest on my shoulder and I slowly look up making eye contact with lucifer himself, he was in a human vessel but I still felt uneasy due to the fact that underneath all that skin, muscle, blood and bone, a powerful being resided that could erase me from existance in a blink of an eye. ''Your time will come, I will summon you when its your time to serve me and if I need a task to be down I will ''call you'' when needed but for now'' lucifer leaned in closer to my ear ''I think its time for you to wake up''
As he spoke, I awoke in my apartment laying on my bed with the kitten in my arms, the sun was shining through the window, sitting up and scratching the back of my head, I then look slowly towards the window noticing the faint sigil markings on the fog covered window before they faded away as I heard a faint laughter in the distance.
This was far from over, it was just the begining of the end
