Author's Note:
TriforceWisdom64: Yes, I am following the Wii map of the Twilight Princess. At the end of my description of the story it says: (TP [Wii], SS, OoT, MM, WW), meaning Twilight Princess, Wii version. Sorry if that wasn't clear :)
The other games are: Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker. I would like to include elements from each of these games into my story if possible.
Enjoy :)
The sky was darkening fast and Link doubted it was a good idea to traverse the desert with no light to guide him. Although the light-spire shone like a beacon at the Arbiter's Grounds, Link thought it was quite plausible he might fall off a cliff or into a hole, so he decided he should find a place to camp.
"Fi," Link began, the blue woman quickly emerging from the sword and appearing before him, "Can you help me find a suitable place to rest for the night?" He requested.
"One moment," Fi said, turning to assess the dessert. "There is a large rock to the west," Fi began a moment later, "You will be able to camp in the shadow of that large rock known as the Gerudo Mesa without being seen by the Bulblins that have made camp closer to the Arbiter's Grounds." Link nodded and began to walk towards the west where the sun had already disappeared, leaving him in the twilight zone. He could see the large rock structure and knew it could shelter him. The thought that there were Bulblins living in a desert with one way in was curious to Link.
How had they found their way into the Gerudo Desert? Had they come here recently or many years before, when the path was still open? And how did they continue to survive with nothing but sand?
Hyrule was strange to Link, but he loved it. It was the home of his princess... Which was exactly why he had to bring her back to it. Link grew sad. The thought of Zelda was hard, but it was the only thing to keep him going.
Link smiled as he remembered their time in the gardens before everything had gone so wrong. He hoped that Zelda was safe and okay. He hated the thought that she might be harmed or endangered. Link wished he could have done more when she was taken, but Ghirahim had easily prevented that. He was sly and smart. Link would have to be careful around him in the future because he knew he would meet with him again.
Slowly, Link reached the large rock. He set up a small camp then lied on his side. He sighed and rolled over, looking up at the stars. It was strange to Link since none of the constellations were the same as earth's. He missed his night sky, but decided this one was just as beautiful. It was fitting for Hyrule.
Zelda slowly opened her eyes, feeling groggy and disoriented. Wherever she was, the room was pitch black. Her head began to pound and she wished for sleep once again.
She had no idea where she was, only that the stones beneath her were hard and damp. She felt sore and thought she might have cuts and bruises along her body. She wasn't entirely sure how long it had been since Ghirahim the Demon Lord had abducted her. Once they were through the Portal and into the Otherworld, Ghirahim hadn't wasted a moment before casting a spell on Zelda, causing her to lose consciousness. Because of that, she had no idea what the Otherworld looked like, where she was, or what had happened to her on the journey to her little prison.
In the darkness, Zelda slowly stood up, her back and legs constricting in protest, but she continued despite the pain. She held onto the wall for support and gritted her teeth. Why was she so weak? She moved to take a step but her knees buckled beneath her weight, sending Zelda crashing to the floor. Something had happened to her on her journey to this place, but what?
A door opened, shedding light into the dark room. Zelda shielded her eyes, the light unwelcome in the darkness. A figure moved into the light, casting a shadow onto Zelda. The person moved into the room and closed the door, the darkness surrounding her again. She looked up to see who it was but had been momentarily blinded from the sudden light, then darkness.
"I see you have awakened, my princess," a sly voice said from the darkness. Zelda knew who the voice belonged to.
"Ghirahim," she spat.
"Yes, it is I!" He said, his hands suddenly grasping Zelda's face.
"Where am I?" She questioned.
"In the Otherworld, of course," he whispered in her ear. Zelda jumped back. Although his hands grasped her face, she hadn't realized he was so close to her.
"But where?" She tried again.
"It doesn't matter," he cooed. "What matters is that you are my princess."
"I am not. I am Hyrule's princess," Zelda said. She cried out as a hand struck her face, knocking her to the stone floor.
"You are my princess," Ghirahim said again. This time Zelda remained silent, sensing the danger she had fallen into. "Oh good, you've learned," he said, "Quickly too I might add."
Zelda's head was pounding even more so she remained on the ground. She would not cry; there was nothing to be sad about. She was merely in pain which would eventually go away, and her heart ached for Link. Thinking of him might be the one and only thing that would be able to succumb her to tears; Link or Hyrule being abandoned in its time of need.
"Now my princess," Ghirahim began, "Since you have awakened I can finally do this," he said. Zelda remained where she was on the floor. She felt a hand on her leg and gently trail over the fabric of her dress, up the length of her body. Suddenly, she felt hot air on her neck as Ghirahim breathed on her. His hand moved her head, tilting it upwards. Zelda was terrified of what would happen next.
"What are you going to do?" She whispered, her voice sounding hoarser than she would have liked. She did not want to sound afraid to the Demon Lord. Zelda wanted to remain as strong as she could.
"My princess, hush," Ghirahim purred, his mouth so close to her face that his breath tingled her skin. In an instant, his mouth pressed against hers. Zelda squirmed and tried to push him off of her, but in one swift movement he had her arms pinned against the floor with surprising strength. She made a noise of pain and discomfort, but Ghirahim wasn't deterred in the slightest. Zelda continue to squirm, wanting nothing to do with this, but Ghirahim's mouth continued to move against hers. Slowly, he parted her lips with his tongue despite the fact that Zelda tried to prevent it.
She was pinned down and helpless, and she realized she was unable to summon any of her magic. Zelda took a deep breath through her nose and detached her mind from her body as best she could. She knew she shouldn't and that it was an awful thing for someone to do just to cope, but she also knew Ghirahim wouldn't give up until he gained what he wanted. She didn't want to feel his tongue against hers, she didn't want her mind to register his kiss. The last person she had kissed was Link and that's what she wanted to remember; her and Link in the palace gardens, their kisses fuelled with love and affection.
Link... The last time she saw him he had been bleeding severely from Ghirahim's dagger, he had fallen to the ground. Oh how Zelda hoped someone had found him before it was too late. Would he be searching for her now? Had he even survived?
Anger built in Zelda's stomach and her mind regained with her body. She felt Ghirahim slide his hand up her body towards her chest and decided there was only one thing she could do. She would ask for forgiveness later, but right now she had to concentrate on keeping herself alive and there was only one way to ensure that. I'm sorry Link.
Zelda kissed Ghirahim, pushing her tongue against his. She allowed him to feel her body but cringed in her mind. She was disgusted by her actions. Ghirahim lifted her and the two of them were up against a wall within seconds. Zelda realized Ghirahim was skilled with several kinds of magic, as she hadn't felt Ghirahim's muscles tense in anyway, clearly using some sort of magic to lift them from the floor.
He expertly pinned her arms against the wall as he pulled away from Zelda's mouth, "The wimp will come for you, count on that. And when he does, he will see that you are my princess. Oh, how easy you were to break," Ghirahim whispered before kissing Zelda again.
You haven't broken me yet. I am merely playing your game.
He pushed her one last time against the wall and fiercely kissed her before letting her go. Zelda fell to the stone floor. She heard his footsteps retreat to the door, and then it opened, closed and was bolted shut. Zelda let out a cry.
