I'm sorry about the very short chapter, but in terms of Link's journey, I am trying to fast-forward as much as possible because I don't really want to recap the entirety of the Arbiter's Grounds dungeon... I hope the next chapter will have more content, but I don't really know!

Also, I am officially finished high school now so I should have much more time to write! Yay for graduating!

Enjoy :)

Link sat down at the entrance to the Arbiter's Grounds. He had fought several Bulblins to get this far, and had also caused their camp to catch fire, which of course had been an accident. But here he was, ready to face whatever awaited him on the inside of this building that the light-spire towered off of. He would reach that Portal and find Zelda. He had no other option.

Zelda stood in front of the doors that led to the throne room in the palace. They were a dark burgundy colour with engravings depicting many battles and scenes of death. She was frightened to enter - who was the King of the Otherworld? What face would greet her when she walked through the doors?

Gondo had guided her out of the dungeons and then some guards had taken over from there. If he was by her side she would feel a lot braver. After all, Gondo was a Hylian, and Zelda was meant to be his ruler one day, she would have to be brave around him. But alas, he was not here – and besides, Ghirahim believed that he had broken her with his mere kisses – she had to play the part of the abducted, broken Princess of Hyrule.

"He is ready for you," a guard said to Zelda, pushing her forward.

Zelda nodded, "Thank you," she said to the guard.

The giant doors opened before her, revealing a very large throne room. There were torches lit in brackets lining the walls, and a polished and smooth black marble stone floor. There were guards holding spears and wearing black armour lining the walkway that led up to the throne. She tried not to grimace as she looked at the man seated to the right-hand of the throne: Ghirahim. At least he was not king! Finally, Zelda's eyes travelled to the throne. She did a quick inhalation of breath as her eyes fell upon the man seated upon the black throne.

His demeanour alone demanded respect. He had a thick build with broad shoulders and lots of muscle. He wore a golden crown that lay flat against his forehead and joined with the other piece in his hair, which was his most shocking feature. His hair was fiery red in colour. His eyes were a light amber colour and he wore a grimace on his face. His skin appeared to be greenish in hue. He wore dark armour and held a long white sword that appeared to be glowing as he lounged on his throne.

"My Princess," he greeted in a low voice, a smile growing on his lips. Zelda walked forward and kept her features schooled.

"You know you should greet your King when you are spoken to," Ghirahim's sly voice said from his seat.

"Thank you, my King," Zelda said with a bow as she stopped before the steps that led up to the throne, keeping her eyes downcast. Zelda heard the shifting of armour and then heavy footsteps on the marble floor, coming towards her. She saw black boots come down the stairs and stop before her. A gentle hand cupped her cheek and tilted her face upwards, her blue eyes meeting with his amber eyes.

The King of the Otherworld smiled at her, "Please, call me Ganondorf."
