Naruto: Tenth Dragon's Poison

Chapter 34

Power Blitz

The given invitation was accepted immediately. They walked in past the door, listening to its clamp as it closed from behind.

"I was expecting a soon return from you, I however am surprised you brought someone with you," Myiou said as she faced the newcomer for the first time. "What is your name?"

"Elkon." The half Kryptonian answered.

"Elkon.. that's an unusual name," Myiou stated. "Does your name bare any known meaning?"

"Whether it does or doesn't holds no reasoning to why we've come," Bruce said ready to lay down what ultimately brought them. "We're here for one thing only."

"And what might that be?" Myiou asked scouring her eyes directly at him.

"Answers."

This gave very little as to what he sought to know, leaving her to press deeper on the given stance.

"And what is it you seek answers on?"

"Everything there is to know," Bruce replied. "The Huenatar Guild, the followers of its gathering, and above all.. you."

She smirked after listening to the announced.

"Me," Myiou said pointing directly at herself. "You want to know about me?"

"Yes, I do."

She found herself to beside with just a couple steps, taking a seat as she crossed her left leg over her right before looking back up at him.

"What can I say, I'm flattered."

"Don't be," Bruce chided softly. "My interest is on you as much as it is about the situation surrounding you."

"And what situation is that."

"You know what I'm talking about."

"Do I now?"

"Sounds like she's playing the lost lamb to me." Connor stated.

"Enough, tell us all there is to know about the Huenatar Guild," Bruce demanded of her. "Who is behind its proceedings, and furthermore when was this group founded."

There was a serious interest, one which couldn't be denied from the expression on his face alone. With that note in mind she showed a shift in tone as she spoke out once more.

"The Huenatar Guild has been operational for almost five years now." Myiou revealed.

".. Is that so?"

"You sound almost surprised." She chortled lightly.

A long moment of silence passed as he looked to the desk where the flame burned brightly in the lantern. He starred at its wave for a short time before turning back to face her.

"And what of my second question, who is the one running the Huenatar Guild?"

"Why ask that when you saw for yourself," Myiou asked. "The one who you witnessed on stage at our last gathering is the one who runs the guild along with the help of some of the higher ranking members."

"Does this leader of yours have a name," Bruce inquired of her. "Because at no time did he or anyone else mention it last night."

"His name is Uotmar."

"Does he have a last name?"

"Hardly see how that matters, and even if I knew what it was I'd be reluctant to tell you."

"And why is that?" Bruce asked.

"Of all things you have still yet to explain your interest in any of this, or why you followed me last night for that matter."

"I have my reasons."

"I guess that makes the both of us," Conner announced. "I still have yet to be completely informed on why I've been dragged down here to this place."

"And surprises just keep pouring in." Myiou smilingly said.

"What about Rhogoha?" Bruce asked.

"Rhogoha," Conner questioned. "What is that?"

"It is the name of some kind of construction the members of Huenstar are currently building, it was mentioned during last night's speech," Bruce informed. "But its name was all that was brought up, I'm curious as to what Rhogoha is and its purpose."

"You ask so much yet give so little," Myiou said in response to the latest asked. "I want to know why you're truly here."

"I'm here for several reasons, to try and explain in words would only leave you with a cloud of more questions to ask," Bruce stated. "So I'll put it simply, I come with good intent."

"Good intent you say."

This was enough to prompt her to stand once again.

"Tell me about this supposed intent of yours," Myiou said. "With a word choice such as that I can only assume you plan on doing something in reaction to all that you've seen."

"You're jumping to conclusion, Myiou Tokae."

All froze in a dead stop second of surprise upon hearing this.

"That name… where did you hear of it?" Myiou asked voicing a change in tone.

"I asked around, it didn't take long for me to get answers," Bruce replied. "I not only learned your last name and what your previous occupation was, I also came to learn you were legally declared dead four years ago, and I wonder why that is."

She stood stone still as her eyes fell shut in that instant, unsure how to react to his deep knowledge on her.

"We've wasted enough time, why don't you lay down all cards," Bruce pressed. "Tell us everything that you know."

Her eyes reopened, watching as a look of uncertainty turned to one of clarity.

"You're in no position to give orders.. and besides, neither one of you will be leaving here alive." She declared with an evil smirk falling upon her lips.

"Is that a threat?" Bruce asked glaring down at her in return to the messaged.

"No Jellester-san," Myiou replied as she reached into her pocket to grab hold of something. "It is a guarantee."

"Look," Connor exclaimed pointing to what was now held in her left hand. "It looks like some kind of remote detonator."

"Right you are boy." Myiou divulged while gracing her thumb over the top of power button as the grin on her face solidified.

"What is the meaning of this?" Bruce asked.

"Rest in peace, or should I say.. pieces!"

With that the trigger was pressed, igniting an explosion that brought destruction to everything in its path.

Their eyes sharply gazed down at him, not shying away even for a second. He stared back up at them in return with just as much intensity, not having the slightest idea for what brought about this latest confrontation. The appearances of the three were shielded by full body dark red cloaks they wore over their heads. And even though there outside features couldn't be detailed, there were still a point to make out.

The one who stood in the center of the group was the biggest not only in height but stature as well, standing at roughly six foot two from his line of sight. The two who stood on the outsides were much smaller in figure, standing only at about five six in height. But who were they, and why were their faces covered away? And above all, what do they want with him?

His thoughts were drilled away by the feel of a hand weighing down upon his left shoulder, he immediately looked that way to see her staring him directly in the eye.

"Kakashi-sensei, who are these people?" Sakura asked.

He looked back to those who stood high above before replying.

"I don't know."

This came as a surprise, and not only for her but the others as well.

"What do you mean you don't know who they are," Ino hollered. "That guy called you by name after all, are you sure you haven't heard that voice before?"

"No, I can't say that I have," Kakashi replied. He dug through the back end of his thoughts, trying to rehash anything that could reveal to him the identities of the three individuals who now stood before him. Unfortunately nothing of prior experience brought anything to mind. "Just who are these people?"

Their continuous stare of him remained. There was no doubt about it, there was an intent to be felt .. but of what? The more time that passed the wearier he became of the situation now running in play.

"Sakura.. Ino-chan, I want the two of you to take Inoue-chan and leave this place." Kakashi decided upon after some thought given.

"You want us to leave," Sakura gasped in immediate response. "But why, for all we know these guys could be here to attack you."

"It makes no difference."

"No way we're leaving you alone." Ino strongly protested.

"Leave now," Kakashi commanded of the two as he turned to face them. "That's an order!"

No sooner after declaring this did it take for the wisp of the wind from his blind side to wave by. He quickly spun his head around, feeling a skip in the beat of his heart at the sight of the one he had seen atop the Hokage Monument now standing just six feet from him.

"Hello Hatake-sam, we meet at last." A voice that could be described as friendly and yet so mysterious spoke.

He quickly came to find that he was the only one who stood in the clear, what happened to the two who had been standing at his side at the top of the monument just seconds ago? The scouring of his eyes was quickly noted by the opposition.

"Why do your eyes stray," The hooded man asked. "Could you perhaps be looking for the children?"

"Children?" Kakashi questioned.

This brought a soft chuckle from his end.

"My comrades of course, if that is where your interest lies then look no further." He directed.

The four of them turned around to find the two other cloak wearing individuals standing just a few feet away.

"How did they get behind us without any of us knowing," Orihime questioned. "Some kind of teleportation?"

The details of how didn't matter to him in the least. They were now closed in on two separate sides; this was very telling from his point of view.

"This interest of yours seems to subject only to me," Kakashi said turning back to face the one who he believed to be in charge. "So if I may request, let the others go."

"Hmmm.. how about not." The man behind the hood responded in provoking fashion.

"What, why not," Kakashi asked doing his best to maintain composure. "This clearly has nothing to do with them."

"And what knowledge do you have that, that is the case?"

These latest words only further influenced a rise in an already growing tension.

"Just who are you people, and what do you want?" Orihime fretted nervously.

"What do we want.. well that's actually rather simple," The man beneath the hood replied. "We're here for a little test."

"Test, what test?!" Sakura retorted.

This response brought about a grin, one which could faintly be seen. His focus then drew to the two who had arrived alongside him.

"Power.. Blitz, it is time," He conveyed to the both of them. "This is why we've come, let the trial begin."

This declaration was one that could not have been foreseen. But what was this 'trial' that was spoken of? There was no doubt, whatever brought them was just about set to begin. The four of them turned back to face the pair who blocked their path from behind, watching as the two reached for the tops of their cloaks as if to remove them from their heads.

"I don't understand.. who are these people, and what do they want with me?" Kakashi queried in mind.

Whatever it may be he was certain he and those who stood at his side would soon find out.

…..

The search was now on, a move which had sent the two of them in different directions. His eyes were pin point in where they directed with clear intent to seek; the two people in silks of purple encountered in the forest leading to this very point. The question now became, where had they gone? He looked straight, right, left, and even behind. But each attempt brought only the same, nothing.

"Geez, by now those guys have probably already reached their destination," Bart said surveying the area with a full circle in turn. "If that's the case it is going to be extremely difficult to find them, especially if they're no longer out on the streets."

He stood there for another couple seconds to contemplate further on the matter.

"Ok.. where am I now," Bart said looking from side to side. "Which way did I come from prior to reaching this spot?"

No matter where he looked nothing rang a bell. It took all but a few seconds for a realization to come flushing in, one that couldn't be denied.

"I'm so totally lost," Bart laughingly enunciated. "Hahaha, maybe Uyruu has gotten lost too, that would certainly get me off the hook."

A stampede in sound blasted off from the left of where he stood, resulting in him looking that way.

"What's all that commotion all about?"

It was just as it sounded, witnessing the dash of several who raced along in his direction.

"Wooh," Bart exclaimed leaping out of the way of a herding pack of people. "What the heck is going on?"

His eyes stayed with them every step of the way, curious as to where it was they were going. His curiosity quickly turned not only into an interest but a possibility as well.

"Whatever is going on seems to have the attention of many, and in that case it could also mean wherever these guys are going is where those guys in the suites of purple we're looking for have gone as well," Bart guessed. "It might be a stretch, but at this point what do I really have to lose, it's not like I know where I am anyways."

He took a few moments more to weigh the pros and cons of his decision before finally making up his mind.

"Here goes nothing."

And with that he took off, following in align with all others who ran with one clear destination in mind.

The time finally arrived for their move to be made. The disguising cloaks they wore were now about to be removed, starting with the hoods that rested atop their heads. They grabbed hold of them, and with a quick move pulled them away to reveal what was beneath.

The one who stood on the left was a girl. The first feature to really sink into mind was the pale complexion in her skin. Her straight hair was black in color, falling just past her jawbone in length. Her light brown eyes were topped off by her bangs that hung overhead. But the most telling detail of all was what she wore.

She had on a pair of black overalls that extended just past her knees with a short sleeve white shirt lying beneath. The worn shoes were black, accompanied by a pair of white socks. On her left hand rested a white finger cut glove. The last of her apparel to make note of was the white bow sitting on the top of her head.

This left the boy standing on the right. There were notable similarities about the two. This stemmed from hair color and style as well as eye color. His skin was just as pale as her in complexion, telling a story in itself. What he wore was exactly the same as her, the difference… the black and white colors were inverted in his case. Instead of his left, a black glove resided on his right hand, making it the opposite of the girl he stood aside. The only real difference between the two in garments was the fact he didn't have anything sitting on top of his head.

"They're just children, no older Sakura or Ino even," Kakashi thought to himself. "But who are they, and more importantly.. what do they want with me?"

He stared over the two for a couple seconds more before hearing the two of them speak.

"Power." The boy spoke in a soft voice.

"Blitz." The girl followed up with the bow of her head.

"Blitz.. Power, what's that mean?" Sakura asked.

The response to come was that of laughter, laughter that came from the man who still stood clothed in a full body cloak.

"Isn't that obvious," The hooded man spoke in response to the asked. "Power, Blitz.. it is their call, their essence even."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ino asked.

"Is he suggesting that is their names," Sakura questioned in mind. "If anything maybe it is code for something, and whatever that may be I'm certain we're about to find out."

Seconds passed without a given response coming from him, prompting her to inquire on the matter once more.

"What do you mean it is their essence," Ino asked. "None of what you says makes any sense."

"And above all you still have to say what has truly brought you here," Kakashi added. "It's clearly me whom your interest is fixated on, so let the others go."

"I'm afraid I cannot do that." The hooded man declared.

"And why is that?" Kakashi asked.

"Because this particular trial requires.. how should I say, a set of goats."

"A set of goats?"

"You've all asked enough questions, whatever you're unsure of I am almost certain will soon be answered," He said before looking to progress matters further as he looked to the two he had arrived with. "Children, let the test begin."

The two of them simultaneously nodded their heads in fine proportion before preparing for what was to come next.

"Power." The boy passed in a softening manner.

"Blitz." The girl muttered immediately afterward.

The two of them then turned to face each other directly. She raised his right hand into the air with him matching that with his left. They then placed their palms against one another, making sure their fingers lined up perfectly with one another. What it was they were doing was a mystery to those who watched.

"I don't understand, what is the meaning of this?"

A few seconds more was all it took before the next step in this showing of theirs was made.

"Power Blitz." The two of them spoke together.

An immediate flash of light flared bright, blinding each of them in its wake. The question now became, what was next?

…..

They stared into the imagination of undeniable ambition, surveying through the many possible outcomes that could come to fruition in the wake of their actions. Staying ahead of all possible road blocks along the way was a high priority. Their inner dance in mind would soon come to a halt, one caused by the nearing presence of someone on the outside. Without even the visual flick of an eye they determined who had come.

"You've finally returned, and with news.. yes?"

"Of course Master Huen, he returned just as I expected he would."

"And?"

"He's been dealt with as you instructed, he along with another that came with him."

"Was the death of this second individual necessary?"

They nodded their head as if to convey misfortunate.

"He knew too much."

"… I see, and you're certain of their fate?"

"Yes, no one could have possibly survived that explosion." They replied with a strong vote of certainty.

This announcement brought a feel of approval, even if it wasn't expressed.

"You've done well Myiou-sama," They took the time to compliment. "The last thing we want is outside interference of any kind, our very success could depend heavily on that."

"A fact I'm fully aware of."

"However with this latest incident we'll surely have to amplify our security, for one of the top dwellers to infiltrate our guild so easily is unacceptable."

"I cannot disagree master."

"But we'll save that for another time," They stated. "Now unless you have anything further to add, we're done here."

"I do not."

"Good, then you may go."

She bowed her head before heading out the same way she had come, feeling all that had occurred in the past twenty four hours was now truly behind her.

"Now we can focus on the true mission at hand, Rhogoha."

….

The limit in time that passed since the split between the two had finally been reached, a note from the internal clock marching in his head.

"Still no sign of them." Uryuu said taking a good look around the crowds of people that walked around him on all sides.

Unfortunately he did not lay eye to what he sought. This brought about a grow in irritation, one that could clearly be seen through expression. He held the grip of his clutched fist tightly as he gazed ahead with a burning intent only rising with each passing moment.

"Just where the hell are they," Uryuu hissed under his breath. "There's no way I can let them get away."

There was a feel of self-fault deep within, if something were to happen to anyone else regarding the two he now searched for he would feel partially responsible. But at the same time there was another matter to keep in mind, the very one which brought him here in the first place.

"I better head back to the meeting point, after all we agreed we'd return there after ten minutes," Uryuu said. "Not to mention I can't let this Bart kid out of my grasp, after all he could very well be the person Inoue, Kurosaki, and myself were sent here to find."

With his mind made he shifted his path into the direction he had come, in doing so something fell in his line of view, a sight which brought him to a complete halt.

"It's him!"

Far left of where he stood was the man who they had come across in the forest. He was standing there, gazing down at something in his hand. But what was it? Furthermore where was the woman that had been with him previously?

"Can't see her from here," Uryuu said having another look only to come up empty. "Either way it doesn't really matter, I'm certain this guy will lead me to her and who else is involved."

The man in the suit of purple finally looked away from what was in hands before choosing to walk once again.

"The scheduled meet will have to wait," Uryuu declared with the wave of his hand. "No way I'm letting these fall off the radar again."

With his mind clearly made he followed after him, wondering just what he'd find at stroll end.

"This is it."

…..

The brightness that had come at a moment's notice slowly began to dilute away. They lowered their arms from over their eyes just in time to see the two teens lowering their palms away from one another.

"Is everyone alright?" Kakashi asked looking over at the three of them.

"I feel fine." Sakura quickly noted.

"That light, what just happened?" Orihime questioned.

"From what I can tell it doesn't appear anything has happened." Ino spoke in response.

"She's right, I don't feel any different and it doesn't appear anything notable has happened," Kakashi thought. "The only other possibility I can think for such a move is for a distraction, but that clearly isn't the case since no move was made… and if not for attack or a distraction, then what?"

With a second to spare Kakashi stared into the eyes of his two comrades who stood at his side. And without a single word spoken the three nodded their head as if to announce some kind of acknowledgement, but for what? While noticed by the pair in overalls they paid the gesture little mind.

"Blitz are you ready?"

"Yes, Power dear."

"Then.. it is your move to make."

"Of course."

"Her move, what's that supposed to mean?" Sakura thought to herself.

And within a second the girl who had been standing before their very eyes vanished with the whisper of the wind.

"Where did she go?" Kakashi said looking from left to right.

"Here."

He immediately spun around to find her standing directly behind him a few feet away.

"How did she get there so fast, was it some kind of teleportation or was it pure speed?"

It was in the thought of questioning this that he watched her ball up her fist, a move which conveyed a clear message. Thinking quickly he crossed his arms over his chest just before her fist was launched forward with a ferocious punch. His feet levitated from the ground as he flew several feet away, feeling the collision of impact as he crashed into the side

"Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura yelled.

"You need not concern yourself with him, if there's anyone who you should be focused on it is yourself." The girl known as Blitz stated.

"Why are you doing this," Ino asked facing her directly. "Why did you attack him?"

In the blink of an eye she vanished out of sight.

"Where.. where did she go?"

That moment something grabbed a firm grip of her left wrist, bringing a surprise gasp from her in return.

"It is not wise to turn your back on the opposition." A familiar voice whispered from behind.

"You," Ino said as she turned to face her. "How the hell did you get behind me so fas.."

Her words were cut short by Blitz tossing her off to the far side where a group of small bushes resided with a quick pivot of her body.

"Your ranks are squandering down by the moment?" Blitz chuckled lightly as she stared down the remaining two.

"I don't understand, why are you doing this," Orihime inquired. "What is the point of in all of this?"

The one to respond was the man who stood several feet away, still covered in the cloak that concealed his identity.

"Haven't you been tagging aboard until now, this is all one defining test." The man within the hood reminded.

"A test for what," Sakura asked. "Because everything up till this point seems rather senseless, there's no reason for us to fight."

"That's not for you to decide," He replied before looking toward his comrade who clearly awaited his next order. "Blitz, continue."

"Understood." She communicated with the nod of her head.

It now became clear there would be no talking their way out of this one, they would have to persevere through anything that came their way.

"Inoue-chan, get behind me." Sakura instructed.

"Get behind you?" Orihime questioned.

"Yes, it's the only way to divert immediate attention from you," Sakura noted. "And besides I have a plan of counter that should answer to the challenge of the situation we now face."

"But what if one of the other two steps in?" Orihime asked.

"While it is true we have no knowledge of what either of them are capable of I assure you the strategy in mind will account for them as well," Sakura assured. "Even if it is for simply keeping eye."

"The wait has dwelled on for enough, make your next move now Blitz." The hooded man commanded.

She nodded her head in acknowledgement before looking to do just that. However before a move could be made the circumstances surrounding the situation were about to change.

"Bunshin no Jutsu!" Sakura proclaimed while performing the needed hand gestures to see the technique through.

And within the streak of a second the balance in numbers had been changed dramatically.

"The clone technique, it would appear one of them finally appears to be looking to go on the offense," Blitz determined in light of this new development. "Nothing I cannot handle."

"As fast as you are." One of the several clones spoke.

"You can't attack us all at once." Another declared from behind.

"True," Blitz acknowledged. "But then there's still the fact that remains, will you be able to land a hit on me before I deduce which one of you is the real one?"

"Hmmm… that's a really good question." The clone who stood directly across spoke.

"Why don't we put that to the test?" One further left spoke.

"Let's." Blitz accepted.

With that she dashed forward with a striking blow to the target directly across, making absolute contact only to have it dissolve into dust.

"One down… twenty four to go." Blitz accessed.

That thought was followed by a majority of the remaining closing in on her, all with a different approach. Some raced in on foot, while others closed the gap from above.

"Child's play." Blitz huffed smoothly.

She stood rock still, waiting until the charging group came within inches of her before making her next move.

"Now."

Just as contact was to be made she dashed clear of where she once stood to witness a cloud of smoke form from the clones colliding with one another.

"That's twenty three," Blitz counted with the wave of her hair. "Only one remains."

It didn't long for her the whereabouts of her to be discovered, turning at the sudden sound of someone charging at her from the opposite side of where she faced.

"Another direct attack, you truly are a delusional buffoon." Blitz scoffed in light of this latest attempt.

"Oh yea, we'll see about that!" Sakura retorted as she picked up in her strides forward.

"What a foolish girl," Blitz set in mind as she crossed her arms across her chest. "Racing in head on; clearly with no plan of attack other than to strike with the obvious."

The gap was closed within a matter of moments, bringing the two now within feet of one another.

"Here I come!" Sakura declared.

She lunged into the air once again, clutching her fist in preparation for her next move that was to be made.

"Give it your best." Blitz challenged as she uncrossed her arms.

For yet another time she tightened her fist as she sized up the foreseen target that was now within range.

"Try dodging this!"

"And here I was hoping for a shift in strategy from this one." Blitz thought in mind.

She simply skipped off to the side, dodging the attack completely before retaliating with a move she hoped would bring this scuffle to an end.

"You've humored me, but unfortunately I've grown tired of your antics." Blitz expressed.

And with a quick step in speed she launched forward with a powering punch, feeling the invigorating impact of the punch that was planted on the side of the opponents face.

"And that should put an end to.."

Her words were flushed away by the form of smoke that ignited before her very eyes which brought a reveal in its wake.

"What, another clone?"

Before she could react any further she felt someone grab hold of her right arm.

"Now I've got you," Sakura yelled pulling in a heap of strength as she tossed Blitz high into the air. "Kakashi-sensei, it's your turn!"

"Already on it," One of Konohagakure finest stated as he leaped out back into the field of play with one thing to say. "Chidori!"

This was followed by him lunging into the air after the opponent, looking for nothing more than a finishing attack. His spot was being measured, sizing her up as he readied himself for the contact that would soon be made.

"There."

The direct point was chosen. The only thing left to do was push forward with the attack.

"Kakashi-sensei, look out!" Sakura warned from below.

Just as he was to bring his arm forward a brightening beam of orange light appeared from the left, feeling the boiling heat that came with its arrival.

"What's this?"

It moved too quickly in its trajectory, giving him not even a moment to evade the way of its set path. The beam blasted into his left arm, bringing an excruciating pain which ignited within the moment. He wailed in pain as he soared to the ground, making a slamming impact with the ground. No sooner after his landing did it take for the sound of someone running toward him.

"Kakashi-senei!"

He glanced up to see the two of them running toward him, clearly with a concern to be seen within their eyes.

"Sakura, Ino-chan." Kakashi said watching as the two came to a stop after reaching him.

"Are you alright?" Ino asked.

He slowly pushed up from where he laid.

"I think so," Kakashi said facing the two of them with an inquiring look coming to face. "That blast, where was it fired from?"

"From over there." Orihime replied as she made her way over all while pointing into the direction where the boy they came to know as Power stood.

"Are you saying he was the one who created the blast?" Kakashi asked.

"Whether he did or not I am uncertain of," Ino said in response. "All I know is that flash of light that made contact came from that direction."

"Which simply means we'll have to watch our backs just that much more," Sakura said in light of it all. "Kakashi-sensei, are you up for another round?"

"Let us put that to the test."

With that declaration he attempted to push up even further only to make a damaging discovery that electrified throughout.

"Damn!" Kakashi hissed under his breath.

"What's wrong?" Sakura asked as she fell down to her knees.

"It's my left arm, I can't move it," Kakashi voiced with a painful huff. "I think it's broken."

"Broken, well that certainly doesn't bold well." Orihime said.

"And not just for him, but for our situation as well." Ino said.

A single step drew all attention right of where they all were, gazing over to see her standing only a few yards away.

"It's her."

"What can I say, I'm impressed," Blitz said dusting off her overalls off with the brush of her hand. "I took you too lightly."

"What do you mean?" Sakura said glaring toward her as she stepped back to her feet.

"No need to stress an anger, my words are of compliment," Blitz explained. "Your conducted strategy worked masterfully, am I right in assuming you three had it planned out even before I attacked?"

"Whether we did or not, I don't see how that makes a bit of difference."

"Perhaps not, but at least answer me this," Blitz said taking another step toward the group. "How did you manage to get behind me, I can only assume that you were one amongst the group of clones that engaged me and when they toppled upon one another you used the smoke created in that exchange as cover… yes?"

"I'm so glad you were able to figure that for yourself."

"Even I can appreciate a little sarcasm," Blitz winked with a grin to pass. "Now if you don't mind, it is time that this test commenced."

"Why are you attacking us, what is the purpose of all of this," Orihime asked. "You surely must have a reason for all of this?"

"The one who sees all commands it, that alone is enough reason."

"The one who sees all.. who in the world is she talking about?" Sakura thought to herself.

"Hatake Kakashi, stand," Blitz commanded. "This bout is not over."

"You're not the one giving orders around here." Sakura declared putting a foot forward.

"That's right." Ino backed stepping up to her friend's side.

"Sakura, Ino-chan, no."

The both of them immediately turned around to see Kakashi forcing himself to his feet, no matter the effort he would not allow himself to be crippled from the proceedings that awaited. His left arm hung down at his side, slowly swaying from side to side as if the only thing keeping it in place was the skin itself.

"Both of you, stand down," Kakashi ordered of the two. "It is me who they want, and that's exactly whom they'll get."

"Are you even listening to yourself, in no way are you in any condition to fight," Ino objected. "And from the looks of the damage done to your arm there is no way we can heal you here and now, and if you attempt to fight you'll only injury yourself further."

"Don't worry," Kakashi responded with the grind of his teeth. "I have a plan, and once I've gotten their attention, I want the three of you to run."

"What, that is not going to happen!" Sakura bellowed.

"Yes, of course," Blitz staring down the four targets in sight. "It shall be done."

And with the speed of the opposition there was only one thing left he could think to do. But who would be faster on the draw, would his hand to play be faster than the blitz?
