~Sasuke's POV~

We were meeting with the other teams in the arena when a girl and her team walked up. The girl was pretty, but nothing compared to Tenshi. She had short, fiery red hair that spiked in the back, her eyes where a gold color as well.

"Ookami no Tenshi, it's been a long time," the girl said. Tenshi looked at her and narrowed her eyes.

"Natsumi Fushichou, obviously not long enough," Tenshi said to her.

"Where's your pathetic little sister… Tori was it?" Natsumi asked smirking.

"She's dead with the rest of my village, if you must know. Of course your clan wouldn't care, you probably helped with the massacre," Tenshi sneered. Natsumi chuckled.

"How I wish, Phoenixes always were better than you pathetic mutts, all you know how to do is howl at the moon and run with your tail between your legs," she said. Tenshi then chuckled making Natsumi narrow her gaze. "What's so funny, you half-blood mutt?" She asked.

"The fact that wolves know how to fight with their claws and teeth. What can a phoenix do besides fly and poke you with their beak? Wolves have so much more, but you won't find out until we fight, that's a promise," Tenshi smirked. She started walking away until she stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Oh, and by the way, talk about my little sister and clan again…and I'll kill you," she glared. We were all shocked, hearing her threaten someone was different coming from her. Natsumi was shaking out of anger.

"Bring it, half-breed," she challenged.

"All in due time, Natsumi, all in due time," Tenshi said. With that, we got in line, Naruto was first, then Tenshi and Tamotsu, then me, and lastly, Sakura. I tapped Tenshi on the shoulder while the Hokage and the others were talking about the next test.

"Who was the Natsumi girl?" I asked. She looked at me and sighed.

"The Fushichou Clan and the Ookami no Clan are rivals. We tried being peaceful with them but they thought we were nothing but mongrels. Natsumi and her father, the head of her village, came to our village to talk with my mother once, which was when I met Natsumi. My sister and I wanted to play with her, but she just slapped me and smirked.

~Tenshi's POV~

FLASHBACK

I was playing with Tori until we saw a girl with red hair. We ran up to her smiling, she just gave us an emotionless face.

"Do you want to play with us? I'm Tenshi, this is Tori," I asked. She glared and slapped me. Tori ran up to me to help me up while the red haired girl smirked.

"You mongrels are pathetic, easily trusting others, it's sickening. Remember my name when we're older, mutt, causing I'll be the one killing you. Natsumi Fushichou," Natsumi told us. Tamotsu and Mamoru stood in front of us growling.

"Leave Lady Tenshi and Lady Tori alone, you Fushichou scum!" Mamoru growled.

"We won't hesitate to rip you limb from limb, kid!" Tamotsu growled next. Natsumi just smirked and walked off with her father. When I see you Natsumi, I'll make sure you pay for hurting me and my little sister.

FLASHBACK END

~Sasuke's POV~

Hearing her story was surprising. I couldn't believe it. While the Hokage was explaining the test, I saw Tenshi and Natsumi glaring at one another, while I was watching thing, Kabuto left. My mark started hurting again and Sakura told me we should quit because she didn't want me hurt.

"Sakura, if Sasuke wants to fight, then let him," Tenshi told her. Sakura looked at her surprised. Tenshi sighed and gave her a small smile. "If anything goes wrong then I'll help him, I'm not about to lose my best friend or teammate," she said. Sakura nodded and I smiled at Tenshi as a way of say 'thanks'. Tenshi nodded and looked forward. That's when Hayate-Sensei said it was time to choose the first two fighters. We looked at the screen and it showed two names. Ookami no Tenshi Hatake VS. Natsumi Fushichou. Tenshi smirked and walked forward. She, Tamotsu, and Natsumi stood in front of one another.

"The two participants in the first fight are Ookami no Tenshi Hatake and Natsumi Fushichou. Are you ready?" Hayate asked. Natsumi smirked.

"Ready to kick her ass? I'm been ready for seven years," she chuckled. Tenshi smirked next.

"Bring it, Birdbrain, I'm ready for you," Tenshi said. Hayate told us to move to the upper level and told them to begin.

"Get ready to go home with your tail between your legs," Natsumi smirked. Naruto was getting pissed off, I was too but I didn't show it.

"Show her what the Leaf is made of, Tenshi! Show her wolves rule and phoenixes drool!" Naruto shouted. Tenshi looked at him and nodded.

"Enough with the lame puns, Natsumi, we have a battle to start," Tenshi said. She then did hand signs. "Crystal Style: Diamond Daggers!" Tenshi shouted. With that, two daggers appeared and Natsumi was surprised.

"Crystal Style? How is that possible?!" She questioned.

"Never underestimate the Ookami no Clan, we have Jutsus no one can do, not even the first Kages, aside from the Mangetsukage, can do them," Tenshi said. She then ran forward and started trying to strike Natsumi who unsheathed her katana and blocked the hits. Natsumi then jumped away doing hand signs.

"Sword Style: Suzaku Spirit Death Slash!" Natsumi shouted. The sword glowed red and she swung her sword making a phoenix fly towards Tenshi. Tenshi did hand signs next.

"Moon Style: Lunar Shield!" a white shield appeared and protected her. Tenshi's daggers disappeared and she ran towards Natsumi doing hand signs. "Moon Style: Strength of the Beast!" Her fist glowed white and she punched Natsumi sending her into a wall. Tenshi then Jumped back to where she started as the smoke cleared showing an angered Natsumi. She did hand signs next.

"Fushichou Style: Phoenix Transformation!" Natsumi called out. Soon her body was engulfed in flames shocking everyone. Her arms became wings, her hair became longer and was on fire, as her red shirt and black shorts became a short, red, Goth like dress. Tenshi and Tamotsu looked at each other and nodded.

"Moon Style: Lone Wolf Warrior!" She and Tamotsu shouted. The beam of light engulfed them surprising everyone but me and my team. She looked just like she did when we fought Zabuza. It was truly amazing.

"How?! That's and Anbu level Moon Jutsu!" Natsumi shouted.

"That's the thing, with my will, I'm too strong. You want to know why wolves are so strong? Why they howl to the moon?" Tenshi asked in her womanly voice.

"Do pray tell why, almighty wolf?" Natsumi sneered. Tenshi looked at her.

"We are strong because we have a pack who keeps us strong. As for the howling…that's just a signal to call for our pack, knowing they always have our backs, giving us the support we need. My pack…is my team; Naruto Uzumaki, the future Hokage," she said making Naruto beam at her with happiness. "Sakura Haruno, the bright girl with a good heart," Sakura smiled with tears gathered in her eyes. "My father, Kakashi Hatake, best ninja in the world in my opinion," Kakashi-Sensei smiled at that whispering 'you're the best ninja of all' to her. "And the number one ninja who has the will as strong as a wolf, Sasuke Uchiha," she said to her. I smiled at that, she is really the most amazing girl I'll ever know. "With them by my side, I can do anything, and that means, winning this match and moving forward," Tenshi ran up to her after calling for her Lunar Saber. Her saber clashed with Natsumi's wing. "What do you have?" She asked. I looked at everyone, they were all shocked at her speech, the Jounin, on the other hand were all smiling in admiration along with the Hokage. Tenshi then slashed her and kicked her away. Natsumi didn't get up and was turned back into original form. Hayate checked Natsumi and looked at Tenshi who turned back to normal as well.

"This is match is over, the winner of the first match is Ookami no Tenshi Hatake of the Leaf!" Hayate said. She looked at us and jumped up to us with Tamotsu. Kakashi-Sensei hugged her.

"You were great out there, Silver Wolf," he said to her. She smiled and Naruto and Sakura ran up to her and hugged her causing her to laugh.

"You really think of us like that?" Sakura asked.

"Did you really mean all of that?" Naruto asked. Tenshi smiled and pulled them in for another hug.

"Of course I did, you know me, I never lied to or about you guys, you're my pack, meaning you're my strength," she said to us. They hugged her tighter before letting go. I walked up next and hugged her.

"Thank you, Tenshi," I said to her. She hugged me back tightly.

"You're welcome, my Obsidian Wolf," she whispered to me. I hugged her tighter to me just as she did. I truly love this girl, and I'm going to tell her when I win my match. We all looked at the screen and saw the names. Sasuke Uchiha VS. Yoroi Akado. It was my turn I was about to walk off until Tenshi stopped me and kissed my cheek. "Good luck, Obsidian, you'll do great," she said to me. I smiled and nodded.

"Thanks, Angel," I said to her. Her eyes widened as she blushed. Kakashi appeared behind me though.

"Sasuke, don't use the Sharingan," he told me. I smirked.

"So you know," I said to him.

"Tenshi told me, if that curse mark on your neck becomes active, you might lose your life," he told me.

"Probably," I said to him.

"Well, if that happens I'll jump in a stop the match, got that?" He asked me. I looked at him shocked.

"Why would you do that?" I asked him.

"Because, one; your apart of my team, two: it would hurt us all, mostly Tenshi, and three: Tenshi's words weren't meant for just us, but for you as well. I don't feel like seeing my daughter in pain because she lost the one person she cares about the most, it hurt to see that when she lost her mother and sister, she can't lose you too," he told me. My eyes widened, then I gave a look of determination and nodded. I jumped down and stood in front of Yoroi.

"Second match is about to begin. The two participants, Sasuke Uchiha and Yoroi Akado, are you ready?" Hayate asked us.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Yes," Yoroi replied.

"You may begin," Hayate said.

"Are you ready?" Yoroi asked me ready to do a hand sign.

"Yeah," I smirked. He drew shuriken as I drew a kunai and blocked as he threw his shuriken. I threw some shuriken at him and slid over to him. I stopped as he punched the ground I then grabbed his arm and put him in a lock with my legs. But soon I felt my strength starting to leave me. He got his arm free and punched me. He then grabbed me by my forehead and I felt my chakra leaving. I kicked him away, he went to go again but I kicked him at the chin using Lee's move that I copied. I had him pinned to the ceiling and started feeling pain my neck again. Tenshi must have seen because I heard her voice in my head.

'Sasuke! Don't let Orochimaru's curse control you, you have to control it! I believe in you, Sasuke! You can do it!' She encouraged me. The pain was still too much I wasn't sure if I could do it. 'You can do it, my Obsidian Wolf,' she said to me. I then focused on controlling it and the pain stopped. I then smirked and kicked Yoroi to the ground.

"Lion Rendan!" I shouted and kicked him harder as I felt strength gather. I skidded away and landed on my stomach. Hayate checked Yoroi and looked at me.

"The winner of the second match is Sasuke Uchiha!" Hayate declared. Kakashi-Sensei, Tamotsu, and Tenshi appeared next to me.

"Well, good job," Sensei said reading his book. I 'pft' while smirking. Tenshi kneeled beside me and smiled warmly.

"I told you, you could do it," she said to me. One of the medics came up and said the medic team would treat my wounds. Tenshi then stood up.

"That won't be necessary, my dad and I will take care of him," Tenshi said. Kakashi and Tenshi kneeled by me.

"We're going to take you back and seal up that curse mark," Kakashi-Sensei told me. Tenshi nodded.

"If we don't take care of it now, it will be too late, let us take care of you," she said to me. I looked at her and nodded. They took me to a room and had me sit down in the middle of the circle. "Take of your shirt," Tenshi told me. I blushed a little and took it off handing it to her. She sat it down after folding it while Kakashi-Sensei cut his hand and drew symbols on me.

"Alright, just hang in there. Tenshi, I'll need you to hold him down," Kakashi-Sensei said. Now I'm afraid, this is going to hurt. Tenshi came up to me and held my hands down. She gave me a comforting smile.

"It'll be over before you know it," she whispered to me. I nodded and she looked at Kakashi-Sensei to start. He did the hand signs.

"Evil Sealing method!" He called out and placed his bloodied hand on the curse mark. My neck and upper body where burning and I tried not to scream. Tenshi held me close while my hand clutched her vest.

"It's almost over, hang in there, Sasuke," she encouraged. When it was done, the marks on my body and the ground were gone. Kakashi gave me a warning about the seal acting up again if I lose belief in myself. I was panting and in Tenshi's arms. I then passed out. When I woke up, I was in the hospital and felt someone holding my hand. I opened my eyes to see Tenshi smiling at me holding my right hand in her lap with her left. "Welcome back, how do you feel?" She asked me. I smiled a little.

"Thanks, and a little better, still somewhat sore though," I told her. I looked around and didn't see the white wolf. "Where's Tamotsu?" I asked.

"At the match cheering on the others for me and you," she smiled. Her right hand came up to my forehead and moved some hair out of the way. Her hands felt so cool against my skin. I closed my eyes and let her keep going.

"That feels nice," I said to her.

"You are pretty warm," she said to me gently soothing my warm forehead and cheeks with her cool hand. "I'll go tell the others you're awake," she said getting of the bed. I grabbed her hand.

"Don't go, please, stay with me?" I asked her. She looked shocked then smiled and nodded. She sat back down. I have to tell her, if I don't I'll explode. "Tenshi, I have something to tell you, and I don't know how you'll react," I told her. She smiled.

"Sasuke, you can tell me anything, you know that," she said to me. Here is goes.

"Tenshi, since the moment I first saw you…I've had feelings about you. You were different then all the other girls in the village, you were strong yet gentle, confident yet shy, and most of all, beautiful. I've had a crush on you since we were six, what I'm trying to say is…Tenshi, I'm in love with you," I told her. Her eyes were wide and her cheeks had a light blush. I saw tears gather in her eyes and she hugged me.

"Sasuke…I love you too," she whispered to me. I hugged her back and we pulled apart. I looked into her beautiful, mesmerizing, purple/blue eyes as she looked in my onyx black ones. We leaned in closer together until our lips touched. I felt sparks, explosions, throughout my whole body, and it felt great. Her lips where so soft and tasted like vanilla, I usually hate sweet things, but this…I just love it. I wanted to taste it all day. The kiss was not only gentle but passionate. I could feel her love for me just in the kiss and I was hoping she could feel my love for her.

~Tenshi's POV~

The kiss was amazing, I didn't want to stop. I felt sparks throughout my whole body and I loved it. His lips were soft and sweet. I wanted this gentle yet passionate kiss to last forever. I could feel all his love for me just from this kiss. His left hand was on my cheek as my left was on his. His other hand was around my waist as my other was on his chest. We pulled apart for air and had our forehead pressed together.

"I love you, Ookami no Tenshi Hatake," he said to me.

"I Love you too, Sasuke Uchiha," I said back to him. I laid down with him and snuggled into his arms. "Promise you'll never leave me," I said to him. His arms around my waist and arms tightened.

"I promise, I'll never leave you, Angel," he said kissing my forehead. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his strong yet gentle heartbeat. I soon fell asleep in his arms with a smile on my face.

~Sasuke's POV~

I held Tenshi in my arms as her head laid on my chest. I ran my fingers through her hair seeing as it was still down. The smell of jasmine and vanilla filling my nose. I couldn't believe it, the girl I have loved since I was a kid was finally mine. I'll cherish every moment with her, I won't leave her unless I have no choice. Until then, I'll protect her and love her with every fiber of my being.
