~Tenshi's POV~

As we stopped for a brief second, we saw Gaara come part way out of Shukaku, he looked like he was completely possessed, I looked at Naruto; he was as freaked out as I was. But we had to keep our strong stature on.

"Thank you for keeping me entertained so far. Now, I'll show the true powers of the Sand Demon," Gaara said to us.

"The medium show the signs of insomnia, from being possessed by Shukaku, eh. Take a look at those bags under his eyes, I could give him competition," Gamabunta said.

"Those possessed by the Badger Demon, Shukaku, become such that they can't even have a single night of decent sleep. I understand it's because of the terror! If they sleep, they're personality is eaten away by Shukaku, bit by bit until they disappear!" Yuzuki told us.

"Because the medium suffers from lack of sleep, their personality tends to be unstable. But, ya know, while that mediums normally awake, Shukaku's real powers are suppressed," Gamabunta said. I knew were this was going and my eyes widened.

"But…if the medium were to fall asleep on his own…" I trailed off. Gaara then placed his pointer and middle fingers in front of him.

"Spell of Fake Sleep!" He called out. No, no, no!

"I'm finally out!" Shukaku yelled. "And here's someone I want to kill right off!" He yelled looking at us.

"Gaara! Wake up!" I shouted. Naruto looked at me. "Shukaku's real powers have awakened!" I told him. His eyes widened.

"We're going to jump!" Gamabunta said for both him and Yuzuki.

"Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullet!" Shukaku yelled. A huge ball of wind came in our direction. Yuzuki and Gamabunta jumped.

"Water Style: Gunshot!" Gamabunta and Yuzuki shouted as Shukaku did the Wind Jutsu again. It made the water fall like rain. Unfortunately we missed a couple.

"This is bad, Boss! There's still two left!" Naruto shouted. Gamabunta and Yuzuki were hit with them.

"Hehe, I did it! I killed them! I killed them!" Shukaku yelled. Yuzuki and Gamabunta swiped the smoke away.

"That hurt! You pumped so much damn chakra into that ball you threw at us!" Gamabunta exclaimed.

"Indeed, I'm going to have a headache for a month with that one!" Yuzuki said irritated.

"Even we can't take too many hits from those," Gamabunta said to Naruto and me.

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Naruto asked him.

"For now, rough up that medium kid so the spell will break," Gamabunta said to us.

"How?!" We both asked.

"We'll get close the Badge Demon and stop him in his tracks, we'll do it when his guard is down," Yuzuki said to us.

"We're asking how exactly are we going to do that?!" Naruto shouted in frustration. That's when I got an idea.

"Naruto, they are simply a toad and a wolf, Gamabunta doesn't have claws or fangs, and Yuzuki is more of a defensive wolf, using the Transformation Jutsu, they'll transform into something else, or more powerful than they are. They're both no good at transforming, so we'll have to be their will and do it for them as long as they lend us their chakra then it'll become a Combo Transformation. We're both out of chakra from summoning them," I told him. Yuzuki and Gamabunta nodded in agreement with me knowing that's what they were thinking.

"Claws and fangs, hmm," Naruto started thinking of something.

"Here we go!" Yuzuki and Gamabunta shouted. Naruto and I did a hand sign and knew what to do. I looked at him.

"Naruto! Fox Beast and Wolf Beast!" I said to him he nodded. He transformed Gamabunta into a one tailed Kurame as I transformed Yuzuki into a one tailed Jinroo. They both bit and clawed him.

~Sasuke's POV~

I watch the epic battle unfold as Gamabunta turned into a fox and Yuzuki turned into a white wolf. They both attack by using their fangs and claws.

"Okay! Let's do it, Naruto!" Tenshi shouted. Naruto nodded at her and they jumped over to Gaara.

"Wake up!" They both shouted at him. They both got ready to punch him and did it together. Gaara woke up as Tenshi and Naruto went back to their summons. Sand started coming out of Shukaku and towards Tenshi and Naruto.

"Pops!" Shouted the small frog.

"Mother! Move!" Hige yelled. Gamabunta used his tongue to protect Naruto as Yuzuki used her ears to protect Tenshi but the sand was still coming up their legs.

"You're both going to be killed by me, my existence will continue," Gaara told them. This guy is really pissing me off and I feel useless! I can't help them at all! Naruto and Tenshi started to concentrate and before I knew it, Naruto was covered in orange chakra as Tenshi is covered in white chakra both making the sand disperse from them. Naruto's forehead protector flew off as Tenshi's hair fell out of the ponytail. "Die!" Gaara shouted at them.

"Here we go you dumb Badger!" Naruto shouted. They both when to punch him but the sand caught them. "Bastard!" Naruto shouted at him. The Tenshi that was in the sand was a Shadow Clone while the real Tenshi was behind Gaara. Naruto did a head butt on Gaara while Tenshi elbowed the top of his head. Shukaku turned into sand.

"Did they win?" I asked myself. I saw Tenshi, Naruto, and Gaara falling down as Gamabunta and Yuzuki disappeared in a puff of smoke. Tenshi, Naruto, and Gaara landed on tops of the trees and panted while looked at one another.

"After all of this, I feel tired and empty, you too, right?" Naruto asked him.

"Naruto and I finally reached out limit with the final blow. Don't you see Gaara?! We are the same; you, me, and Naruto!" Tenshi shouted.

"Let's make this the end of it!" Naruto finished for her. Naruto's and Gaara's foreheads were bleeding as was Tenshi's elbow. I could see that Tenshi was exhausted just as were Naruto and Gaara, but I kept my focus on Tenshi. Why isn't she using her Taiingan?! That could be helpful to them all. I looked around and saw that Hige was gone. Naruto and Tenshi went to punch Gaara as Gaara went to punch them, what is going to happen?

~Akira's POV~

I was sitting by Lord Shino, waiting for help arrive, I couldn't leave this boy while there's danger around, I guess my motherly nature always gets the best of my. I saw that Lord Shino was starting to sweat a lot and I start licking him with my cool tongue. He was panting heavily.

"Akira, you should go back to Tenshi, I'm sure she needs you," Lord Shino said to me. I shook my head.

"I'm sorry, Lord Shino, but I'm staying with you until help comes. I care about you just as I care for all of Lady Tenshi's friends. If I could, I would move you to a healer, but I don't want to the poison to spread," I said to him. I just laid beside him and placed my paw in his hand. "I already told Lady Tenshi I would stay here until help arrived anyway, she's fine with it," I told him. He smiled a small smile.

"That's Tenshi for you, always caring about others, leaving the care of herself for last," Lord Shino told me. I smiled and nodded.

"It is why people tend to care about her, but tell me, Lord Shino. When you found out Lady Tenshi was a Jinjuuriki, did it change how you felt about her?" I asked him. He sighed.

"I'll admit, I was upset she didn't tell us, but that didn't change my perspective on her. Tenshi's been our friend since she first joined the academy, when one of us got hurt during sparing, she was there to help heal us. When someone cried, she was there to give them her warm smile, just her smile could make you happy, making you forget that something bad had happened. And when it came to fan girls going after Sasuke, she simply helped keep them away and offered to just be his friend. She was even friends with Naruto when everyone hated him. They were as close as siblings, she was there when he was shunned out by everyone, and she also stood up for him. She is truly an amazing person," he told me. I was touched, he really cared about Lady Tenshi, like she was family to him. I even thought of Lady Tenshi as a daughter, I always watched over her when Lady Yuki would summon me to watch Lady Tori and Lady Tenshi while she had to work as the Mangetsukage. Even Hige thought of her as a daughter. When we were hurt after a battle, Lady Tenshi would help Lady Yuki in aiding us. Lady Tenshi, you tend to touch everyone's hearts, even if it's just with a smile. I then smelt a presence. It was Lord Shino's father, Lord Shibi. I looked to see him coming this way.

"Lord Shibi! Over here!" I shouted. He saw me and then saw his son. Lord Shibi patted my head and went to his son.

"Don't more, I'll send my bugs to draw the poison out," Lord Shibi told him.

"Father," Lord Shino murmured. Lord Shibi looked at me.

"Akira, go back to Konoha and help however you can, I'll take care of Shino. And thank you for staying with him," Lord Shibi said to me. I nodded and licked Lord Shino's cheek once more.

"Get better soon, Lord Shino," I said to him. Lord Shino smiled and nodded. I then ran off to the Konoha and saw Lady Tsume and Lady Hana with their ninken. I ran up to them. "Lady Tsume! Lady Hana, need any help?" I asked him. They smiled and nodded at me. We then ran towards the Sand Nin.

"Kuromaru! Akira! Go!" She ordered us. Kuromaru growled looking at the Sand Nin.

"Yes, Lady Tsume!" I shouted. We then started attacking.

~Tenshi's POV~

We both managed to punch Gaara, but we fell with him crashing into the ground. I was by Naruto and Gaara was across from us. We were all bloody, bruised, cut up, and panting. Naruto and I started dragging ourselves towards Gaara.

"My existence won't be put out…it won't be put out! Will I be saved?!" Gaara shouted at the sky. Gaara looked at us and his eyes widened. "D-don't come any closer!" He shouted at us, but we didn't listen.

"Being alone, being incomplete, what you must feel, what your pain must be, Tenshi and I understand that…" Naruto told him. Gaara's eyes widened more. "But for the people who are precious to me….to be able to…the people that are precious to me…if you are hurting them…and you if you are trying to kill them…I will stop you…and I know Tenshi feels the same way…she told you that all three of us are the same…but you didn't listen," Naruto panted.

"What the…? What? Until now, for the sake of other people, you've…"Gaara couldn't finished. Naruto and I looked into his eyes.

"Because they rescued us from the hell of being alone, they acknowledge our existence…that's why they are all the most important…to us. Gaara…you're important to me too," I said to him. His eyes widened and then he only whispered one word:

"…Love…" he said to the sky. Naruto and I kept dragging ourselves until someone gabbed me and held me in their lap. I looked up.

"Naruto, Tenshi…enough," Sasuke said to us. "Sakura is alright now. The guy has run out of chakra, Sakura has been saved from the sand," He told us.

"Is that so…" Naruto smiled. I smiled too.

"Thank goodness," I breathed. Sasuke smiled at me and kissed my forehead. Temari and Kankuro showed up causing Sasuke to glare at them. They were about to attack us when Gaara spoke up.

"That's enough…stop it," Gaara panted. They both stopped and looked at him.

"I understand," Kankuro said helping Gaara up. Naruto was unconscious and Sasuke still held me. I looked at Gaara.

"Gaara, wait," I said before they could take off. They all looked at me and I smiled. "Don't take what you have for granted…you never know when you might lose them," I said to him. He was shocked at first then his gaze softened and he nodded. He and his siblings left and I looked at Sasuke. I placed a hand on his cheek and he held it there. "How was the show?" I joked. He chuckled a little.

"Very entertaining, I didn't know you could do all of that," he said to me. I nodded with a small smile.

"Auntie Kenmei didn't just help me with the family Jutsu, but she helped me learn how to summon Yuzuki, and while you and I were training, Uncle Jiraiya trained Naruto in his summon of Gamabunta. It was exhausting but worth it," I said to him. He smiled at me and kissed me. When he pulled way, he rest his forehead on mine.

"I'm just glad you're alright," he said to me. He then frowned. "I felt so useless, not being able to help you…I couldn't even protect you like a boyfriend should," he said to me. I placed my hand on his cheek again and gently rubbed it with my thumb.

"Sasuke, don't ever say that, you did protect me, even if you didn't see it. Your love protected me, it gave me the strength to keep going with the fight until it ended, you were the most useful person out there in my opinion," I said to him. He smiled at me and kissed me with more passion. I truly love this boy with all my heart…I'm never letting him go.

~Kenmei's POV~

We made it to the roof after Orochimaru disappeared. When we got there, we saw Lord Hokage laying there almost covered in blood and he wasn't breathing. I felt tears prick my eyes, Jiraiya saw it and brought me into his warm and loving embrace. Sarutobi-Sensei, you were the best teacher we ever had. He was like a father to us, and Orochimaru turned on him. Jiraiya kissed my head and rubbed my back while running his other hand through my brown hair.

"We shall miss you, Sarutobi-Sensei," Jiraiya whispered. I snuggled into him. All the Jounin could see we were taking it harder, I mean he was our Sensei, he was like our father when we needed on most. Kakashi came up to me and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"How will we tell Tenshi, he was like a grandfather to her," I whimpered. He sighed and looked at Sarutobi-Sensei with sad eyes.

"We'll tell her together, Sasuke will have to be there along with Naruto and Sakura. Sasuke will be able to calm her down better," he told me. I nodded and we saw a white wolf walk up. "Tamotsu, why aren't you with Tenshi?" He asked him. Tamotsu sighed and his little sister, Emi, walked up.

"Tamotsu was severely injured in battle. Lady Tenshi had me take him to a healer, but Tamotsu is still too weak to fight right now," Emi told us. Kakashi nodded and started petting Tamotsu as he whimpered. I pet Emi as she followed his whimpering with her own. Oh, Tenshi, I'm so sorry for what you have lost along with us.

~Tenshi's POV~

We all came to my house the next day after getting healed and bandaged up. I was sitting next to Sasuke and Naruto, Sakura was next to Naruto herself, dad was by Tamotsu across from me, and Auntie Kenmei and Uncle Jiraiya were sitting next to each other. Dad, Auntie Kenmei, Uncle Jiraiya, and Tamotsu looked upset, Auntie Kenmei looked as if she had been crying.

"Tenshi, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura…we have some bad news, yesterday while the village was under attack. Lord Hokage fought Orochimaru…he won by making sure Orochimaru couldn't use his arms anymore…but at a cost," dad told us. We were getting nervous.

"W-what kind of c-cost?" I stuttered, Sasuke held me to him.

"He lost his life," dad chocked out. My eyes widened with the rest of my teammates. Sakura and I were sobbing, Naruto had tears running down his face, but he made no sound while he held Sakura, and Sasuke tried not to let the tears leave his eyes as he held me to him. I had just lost the person I thought of as a grandfather. Why? Why did we have to lose him?! The next day, we were all dressed in black and at Lord Hokage's funeral. I stood next to Sasuke and he held my hand. Auntie Kenmei stood in front of everyone.

"My niece, Tenshi would like to say a few words. Tenshi, you can come up here now, sweetheart," she said to me. I nodded and Sasuke hugged me and kissed my temple before I went up there. I faced everyone after laying my moon flower down.

~Sasuke's POV~

I watched as Tenshi walked up and placed a moon flower down next to the other white roses. She told me the moon flower represented peace and love in her old village.

"The lord Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was unlike most men. He was a kind soul who touched everyone's hearts. He was a friend…a brother…a father…and a grandfather," she said with tears coming into her eyes as she choked out the word 'grandfather'. "He thought never thought of himself, he thought of us, the village he tried to take care of…his family, he sacrificed himself to keep us safe, and in my opinion, he didn't die in vain. He did it because he loved all of us, we was a selfless man; a man I looked up to. It was him who gave me family here, one of the people who helped me move on from what I had lost, I'll always be thankful to him for doing that. Whenever he saw us, he would smile proudly and lovingly at us, and I know, that somewhere up there…" she said looking at the sky. "…he is still smiling at us, he wouldn't want us to mourn his death, he'd want us to stay strong and carry on what he built in our lives. We all know that it will be hard to move on without him, but as long as we have each other…anything is possible…he knew that; he knew he left the village in safe and capable hands…and we won't let him down, that's a promise. We all took an oath to protect this village and look after it, and we will keep that oath just as he did, that is our ninja way. I never went back on my word, and I don't plan on starting now," she said to everyone. We all smiled at her and nodded. Konohamaru ran up to her and hugged her. She bent down to his level and started calming him down. When he had calmed down, he left with Iruka-Sensei. Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Tamotsu, Kenmei, Jiraiya, and I walked to Tenshi with proud smiles on our faces.

"That was a great speech, Tenshi, I know the Hokage would have loved it," Kakashi-Sensei said to her. They hugged.

"Thanks, dad," she said to him. Kenmei and Jiraiya hugged her next.

"He would be so proud of you, just like your mother, Toboe, and Tori would be," Kenmei said to her.

"You are wise beyond your years, Tenshi," Jiraiya told her. She nodded. Sakura and Naruto were next to hug her.

"Tenshi, you've lost more than we all have, but we know you're still strong," Sakura said to her.

"Just don't hold anything in just to stay strong for us, crying is okay in these situations," Naruto told her. She smiled a watery smile at them and nodded. Tamotsu walked up next to her.

"Sometimes, I wonder why you're not the Hokage, you truly are wise and kind, I know Sarutobi would agree with me," Tamotsu told her while they nuzzled their heads together. Lastly, it was me. I walked up to her and embraced her.

"Tenshi, we will all make him proud, its promise, just as you said. What you said to all of us was beautiful and I know that everyone is proud of you," I told her. I felt tears on my shoulder, soaking my shirt, but I didn't care. I simple caressed her head while she cried.

"I love you all so much, I'm glad to have a family like all of you," she smiled. We all smiled at her again and nodded. With that, we all went home. The next day, we were walking through town and an old man with glasses and old woman came up to us.

"Ookami no Tenshi Hatake?" The old man asked. Tenshi stepped up and bowed.

"How may I help you both?" She asked them.

"Until we find a new Hokage, we need someone to work temporarily, many think you would be capable for the job, we couldn't help but agree," the man said.

"If you aren't up for the task, then we can find someone else," the old woman said. Tenshi looked up and nodded.

"I'll fulfill the duties until the next Hokage arrives, you needn't worry," Tenshi said to them. They smiled and walked away.

"Tenshi is the new Hokage?!" Naruto shouted. Sakura hit him over the head.

"Only temporarily until the next Hokage comes," Sakura told him while he rubbing his new bump. I walked up to Tenshi with worried eyes.

"Do you think you'll be able to handle it?" I asked. She smiled and nodded confidently.

"Yes, I helped Lord Sarutobi a few times, I know what to do, and besides, it's not permanent. I wonder who the new Hokage will be anyway," She said. That's when Kenmei and Jiraiya should up.

"We know who, but I'm afraid you'll have to leave you knew found duties for a bit, Tenshi," Kenmei said. Tenshi raised an eyebrow.

"Who is it?" She asked them. Jiraiya and Kenmei smiled.

"Tsunade," They replied. Tenshi grinned.

"Auntie Tsunade?! Really?!" She asked happily. How many aunts and uncles does this girl have? They nodded at her. Well walked to the Hokage building and Tenshi went to the desk. "Have we found out where she may be?" She asked them sounding professional already.
