~Naruto's POV~

I talked to Shikamaru, Sakura, and Granny Tsunade yesterday, but today I didn't expect two people to come in; Kakashi-Sensei and Gaara. I gave a small smile to them and they did the same.

"How are you today, Naruto?" Kakashi-Sensei asked me. I sighed and shook my head.

"Physically fine…emotionally…I don't know," I told them. I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Gaara. "I should have been able to bring him home and now Tenshi…how bad is she?" I asked them worriedly. They looked down.

"She got out this morning but…she locked herself in her room. She feels like it's all her fault, she knew he would leave and she couldn't stop it," Kakashi told me.

"She blames herself for everything; him leaving and you getting hurt as well as the others, she keeps saying she's too weak," Gaara told me. I was shocked, she really felt this way? I looked down with a frown.

"None of this was her fault, she shouldn't feel the need to carry all the blame," I said to them. They nodded at me. I felt someone sit down and looked to see Kakashi-Sensei.

"That's why, when you're out of here, I was hoping you would talk to her, help her through this. We've tried talking to her…she needs you, you two were the closet to Sasuke, it's clear you need each other right now," he told me. My eyes were wide, but then I gave a smile and nodded. They left after a little bit, but Gaara said on last thing to me.

"Please, make Tenshi happy again, she's not the type of girl who should be sad," he told me. I nodded with determination in my eyes. Later on, Pervy Sage came by to tell me I would be his apprentice for the next three years, turns out, Tenshi is going to be Auntie Kenmei's apprentice for the next three years as well. We'll all be traveling together so it will help us. When I was able to leave the hospital, I went to Tenshi and Kakashi's house. Kakashi lead me to her room and had me walk in. She was curled up in a blanket and had tears running down her face as she looked at our team picture. I sat next to her and held her hand. She looked at me and before I knew it, she was hugged me around my waist, I hugged her back.

"It's all my fault," she cried. I shook my head.

"It's no one's fault, Tenshi. It's not yours, it's not mine…Sasuke made his choice," I told her. She shook her head.

"I could have stopped him, we both could have if we went together but…I was worried about Lee and the others," she told me. I hugged her tighter.

"You had every right to be worried about everyone, you care about them just as they are about you and I have proof. As every visited me they mentioned beating Sasuke up for hurting you when we bring him home…Tamotsu said Sasuke was going to be his new chew toy for at least a year," I told her. She laughed a little bit which made me smile.

"Thank you, Naruto, I'm glad I have a friend like you," she told me. I couldn't help but grin.

"What can I say? I can't let a friend down, believe it!" I shouted and started laughing. She laughed more, now she's feeling better. After our laughter died down I became serious. "I'm going to be Pervy Sage's apprentice for the next three years and Auntie Kenmei was hoping you would be hers. The thing is…we'll be leaving the village and we were hoping you two would join us," I told her. Her eyes widened in surprise, a smile slowly grew on her face and she threw her arms around me.

"Yes! If we become strong enough, then we can bring Sasuke home!" She exclaimed happily. I laughed and nodded.

"We will bring him home, believe it!" I shouted. We laughed and I saw Kakashi-Sensei and Tamotsu at Tenshi's door with smiles. I started helping her pack for our journey, of course I handled the weapons and stuff while she pack her clothes. Once we were done, we walked out of her room and she ran to her father to hug him. He hugged her back.

"I'm glad my little girl is back," Kakashi-Sensei said to her. I'm not really used to see him like this, but it's nice.

"Yeah, you've been really depressing, girly," Tamotsu teased. She stuck her tongue out at him making all of us chuckle. "You know we love you," he said to her. We all nodded causing her to smile.

"I know, and I love you all too," she said to us. We left soon after running into Kiba, Akamaru, and Shino. Kiba ran to her and hugged her while spinning her making her laugh.

"It's about time, Wolfie! We've missed you!" Kiba exclaimed. She laughed some more as Tamotsu and Akamaru howled with glee.

"I missed you guys too!" She said to them. She then frowned. "I'm sorry about my behavior guys," she said to all of us. We all gave a sad smile. Shino placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry about it, we completely understand why you were upset. You needn't be sorry," he told her. I smiled at them and nodded. We started walking to Ichiraku's when Shikamaru showed up with Choji, Neji and Lee. Lee grinned.

"My beautiful, youthful flower! You are no longer upset!" He exclaimed happily making her laugh a little which made all of us smile. Shikamaru walked up to her and hugged her.

"Troublesome woman, don't worry me like that again," he lectured. She gave a sheepish smile.

"Sorry, Shika. Sorry, guys," she said to them. They all just smiled.

"No need to worry, Tenshi, we are happy you are doing well now," Neji said to her. Choji offered her a chip and she took it with a smile.

"Thank you, I'm happy too, you can thank Naruto for that," she said to them. I blushed a little while grinning and rubbing the back of my neck.

"Thanks, Naruto. Without Tenshi, what's the point of being a pack?" Choji asked. We all laughed and nodded.

"Well, who's the Alpha of this pack?" Tamotsu asked. We all looked at Tenshi. She blushed furiously.

"Me?!" She shrieked. We all either smiled or grinned and nodded. "But why?!" She asked us.

"You're strong," Neji said to her.

"Youthful!" Lee said next.

"Kind," Choji said after.

"Intelligent," Shikamaru replied next.

"Inspirational," Tamotsu told her. I then grabbed her hand.

"And an amazing friend that anyone would be lucky to have," I told her. Her eyes were wide as tears pricked them, she slowly smiled with a small blush.

"If you guys are trying to turn me into a blubbering baby then it's working," she said to us. We all shared another laugh.

"Well, we mean it, Tenshi," Shikamaru said to her. Tamotsu chuckled.

"Now another question, the Beta…I have a pretty good idea," Tamotsu smirked. They all looked at me and I blushed like Tenshi.

"Me?! How am I the Beta?!" I shouted.

"You're strong," Neji repeated.

"Youthful!" Lee repeated next.

"You fight for others," Choji said.

"Strong will," Shikamaru said next.

"Inspirational…and loud," Tamotsu told me. Tenshi gave my hand a comforting squeeze as she smiled.

"And you are the most amazing friend anyone can ask for," she told me. I felt tears in my eyes, I finally have friends and good ones at that, especially Tenshi. I hugged her.

"Now I'm the blubbering baby!" I shouted. We all laughed. We talked for a little bit then left to Ichiraku's meeting up with Iruka-Sensei who bought our bowls. When we were done Pervy Sage and Auntie Kenmei showed up while…holding hands!

"Come on, you two! We have a journey to start!" Auntie Kenmei called to us. Tenshi ran over with a grin and hugged them making them laugh. "Well, gee! We missed you too," Auntie Kenmei whole-heartedly joked.

"About time you got out of the stuffy room," Pervy Sage joked. Tenshi giggled.

"Gee, sorry I was such a downer, Uncle Jiraiya," she joked back. We all let out a chuckle.

"Let's get going people, three years is a long time to travel, but a short time to train," Tamotsu told us. We all nodded and with that we began our journey. Just wait Sasuke, we'll bring you home, but be ready for a good beating.

~Tenshi's POV~

We are now starting out on our journey, I have to become stronger not just for my friends and family…but for Sasuke. I held onto the pendant piece, I will bring you home Sasuke, my Obsidian Wolf, just you wait.
