HELLO WORLD! Sorry it has taken so long, but things with school have been hectic, and blah blah blah, so yeah. Anyways! I have resolved that since I currently as of now right now have 24 submissions, I will take 6 more, leaving me at 30, and then I will take 5 NAMES ONLY, no character descriptions.
You can leave the names in the reviews, please do not PM because they aren't real characters, I am going to be eliminating them first.
My reasoning behind the six names thing is this: I don't want to make anyone have hard feelings because I kicked out their well thought-out character. I want to save all the real characters for later (and please, no hard feelings if/when I do kick your character out. There can only be one winner, after all!)
I have also decided to submit a southern rebel, using one of the names y'all submit. The catch? You don't know who it is. MWAHAHA! yes, yes, I know, I am evil. So I will leave another list of all the available provinces at the bottom, and keep in mind I can only take SIX MORE REAL CHARACTERS and after that LEAVE NAMES IN THE REVIEWS BUT NO CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS.
Just thought I should emphasize that. Anyways, back to the story, and keep being awesome!

Northern Rebel POV:
The air is frigid as I gather more wood, drawing my coat closer to my skin as I do. Why do the southern rebels always get the good, nice, sunny places? We don't kill people, so why do we have to live in the cold?
"Grace, where's that wood?" My dad, August Illea, calls.
"Coming!" I holler back. Shifting so that I can see where I am going, I trudge through the frosted grass until I reach the fire pit. Almost everyone huddles around. Dad comes up next to me, taking some of the load off my back, and I stumble closer to the fire, reaching towards it as though it will grant me everlasting life. I feel my hands and face warm up, and sigh in contentment. Warmth.
"How are you?" Dad asks. I ignore the question.
"Where's mom?" I ask in reply. Dad sighs before answering.
"She is readying our candidate for the Selection."
"I still don't see why you couldn't enter me." I grumble, rubbing my hands to together so that they are a little less frozen. Dad fixes me with a stern look.
"Gracie Lynne Illea, we have talked about this. I know it was your idea to enter a candidate, but we couldn't very well enter you, could we? You're an Illea, and as soon as the advisors saw your name and your picture they would know who you were." I bow my head, admitting defeat. I shouldn't have brought it up.
"Yes, but I'm 16! I should be granted at least a little bit of freedom, don't you think?" I ask. My father opens his mouth to speak, but just then, mom runs up. Dad brightens almost instantly.
"Georgia, its good to see you!" He kisses her quickly on the cheek.
"And you." She says, breathless from running all the way here.
"So whats up?" I ask, curious. Mom runs a hand through her hair.
"Our candidate is almost ready, and the Selected will be broadcasted any minute! Let's hurry inside so we can catch it!" I notice others filtering in to the small shack where the t.v. is, and I follow mom and dad, who are holding hands in front of me. At least if I can't go, someone is. We need to keep track of those southern rebels, to make sure they don't get too many ideas. If the royal family were to fall, all of Illea would be destroyed.
Southern Rebel POV:
It is outrageous! After all this time, Queen America and King Maxon still refuse to help clean up Honduragua! I thought when King Maxon talked about the food donations during his Selection that things would improve, but I guessed wrong!
"Cassadee, where are you?" My friend, Wade, whispers. It figures he wouldn't be able to see me. He can't see well in the dark, and night is falling over the compound.
"Over here." I whisper-yell, reaching out so that Wade has something to grasp.
"Oh, I found you." He says, gripping my hand and pulling me closer.
"How go the preparations?" I ask. Wade chuckles darkly. As my eyes adjust, I see his outline in the dark, and his bright green eyes, full of intelligence and cunning, but kindness as well.
"They're going nicely. I don't think the King or Queen will suspect a thing. And hopefully, neither will the Prince." He pauses before moving on. "Anyways, how are you?" I smile inwardly at the question. He always makes a habit of asking how I am.
"I'm…I'm good. Tired, but good. Y'know, preparations have been wearing me out…" I trail off. Things have been getting increasingly tense in the compound as everyone prepares for the Selection. After the southern rebels came so close to extinct, we have to be extra careful to avoid suspicion from anyone. We don't want any more bloody wars. We just want a nice, swift assassination of the King, Queen, and Prince, and then, hopefully, we can take control of the country from right under their noses. They'll never know what hit them.
"…Cassadee?" I hear Wade's voice ask in the darkness. A breeze blows by, and I shiver. I could never be a northern rebel. Too cold.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Do you want to go inside? The broadcast is about to start." I nod my head yes before realizing he can't see me.
"Yeah, sure, let's go." Wade pulls me through the doors to the small house we have acquired from a rebel sympathizer. The t.v. is blaring in the living room, and we enter to find it completely crowded. I settle on the floor in front of the t.v. and wait for the broadcast to start.
I see the symbol of Illea blare on the screen, hear the national anthem, and hear Wade mutter, "here we go." We all cross our fingers as Gavril Fadaye enters the screen, and hope our candidate gets picked. Those northerners won't get in our way this time.
This time, we won't get caught.
This time, we send in one of their own.
Oooooh, cliffy! Anyways, remember, only six more real characters, and six names, which can be left in the reviews. Here are the provinces not taken:
