I don't own R&I, I just own my mind. Short chapter to start something catastrophic, probably. Thank you for reviewing. And to the person that left such a long review that they couldn't fit it all in my email: this one is for you.

8 am

There was a knock on the guest house door.

"Just a sec! I gotta move a couple of these boxes!"

"Okay, dear!"

Angela head an unfamiliar voice as she walked over to the door.

"Okay, whew those boxes were heavy. I'm sorry, do I know you?"

She was dressed in a fancy red dress with flats and a handbag.
The young lady stuck her hand out to introduce herself.

"I'm Emily, Maura Isles' fiancé."

Angela reached out to shake her hand before Emily turned it over to show off her ring.

"What-wow, look at that thing. It's so big you can't even fit it on your hand!" The older woman laughed.

"Yeah, Maura really spoils me."

"No she doesn't."

"Excuse me?"

"I've never met you before, Emily. She wouldn't be engaged if we never met you. That's not the Maura I know."

"Of course we've met before, Angela. You've came over to my house, we've met right inside over in Maura's house, I can't believe you can't remember, dear." The woman spoke calmly.

"Listen, I don't know what you want, but I've never met you before. I find it hard to believe you being Maura's fiancé, that girl is like a daughter to me and she wouldn't date anyone without me knowing."

"Well I believe you've forgotten who I am."

"No, I've never met you before. Don't try to tell me we have. I don't know you and if you're really Maura's fiancé, why didn't you both tell me together?"

"I told her I wanted some bonding time with you. You know, before we move in together to a cozy place out of Boston."

"Does Jane know about this?"

"Jane, Jane, Jane. All anyone wants to talk about is Jane. No, I believe she wanted to tell her when the time is right."

"Jane would've known. I don't know who you are, but you need to go and don't come back. I swear, if you come near my family-"

"You'll do what? Kill me?" The younger woman giggled.

"If I have to."

"Well, I'd rather you not have the chance to."

"Maura!" Angela screamed as loud as she could which made Jo start to bark.

Emily reached in her hand bag quickly before she pulled out a cloth and held it over Angela's mouth until she stopped moving.

"God Angela, you could've made it so easy for me but you chose not to. We're gonna have to talk about this during dinner."

She placed the woman down on the floor until she came back with a wheel chair and put her in her car quickly.

"Jo, shut up! I'll take you out in a minute!"

"Jane, you know you're not gonna take Jo out in 38 seconds."

"Shhh don't tell her that!"

The brunette covered her lovers mouth before giving her a good morning kiss.

"Mmm I do know what I could do in 38 seconds, though." Jane bit her lip and smirked.

"What is that?"

"How about I show you."

Jane lifted sheets and started to lick once again, finding her hands under the sheets and holding onto them while she tasted the love of her life.

What are you thinking? Good or bad Chapter? Wondering what the hell I'm thinking? ...I'm thinking about cheesecake right now if you were wondering. Anyways, prepare yourself for rougher chapters.
