Roger pov:

I woke up the next morning, still in Mark's hospital bed. I smiled down at him as he snuggled closer to me. I kissed his head, my arms still wrapped tightly around him.

An hour later, he stirred, looking panicked for a second before his eyes met mine, and he purred, nuzzling my neck, and nipping at my ear.

"Hey, handsome…"

I smiled, beginning to run my hands through his hair.

"Hey, sleeping beauty… sleep well?"

He nodded, stretching, and burying his face in my chest. I couldn't stop smiling. I was so happy to have him back safe.

"Your new job called last night… Collins told me…" I murmured, and he looked up.

"What did they say?"

I kissed his nose, and he giggled. "They know you've been through a lot, but they would love for you to fill the position, whenever youre ready."

He looked like he was about to cry. He laughed, and hugged me again.

"That's… that's wonderful, Roger…" he smiled. "I'll fill it as soon as I can…" I smiled.

"Take as much time as you need, baby… you and I have so much catching up to do…"

Mark smirked, and leaned in, kissing me roughly. Suddenly, the curtain around the bed was pulled open, and we both jumped. A small man with short brown hair, glasses, in scrubs quirked a brow at us.

"You guys are lucky i'm your nurse… otherwise… this-" he gestured to us tangled together. "Wouldn't fly." Mark smiled at the man.

"Jake? what are you doing here?" Jake smiled.

"I told you I was getting into nursing, dumbass. I just didn't think I would be my cousin's." Mark laughed a little as he hugged Jake tight.

"Jake… this is my boyfriend.. Roger." Jake looked over at me, and I grinned a little, winking.

"Does your mom know?" Mark shook his head, looking pale.

"God, no. Don't you tell her either, she'll have a coronary."

Jake laughed. "Man, I know about that… she had a lot to say when she found out I was a nurse instead of a doctor. It's fine though, my boyfriend already works as a doctor here."

Mark paused. "Oh, shit…"

Jake blinked. "What?"

"I think i may have punched him in the face last night while I was having a panic attack… was he tall, black hair, brown eyes?"

"Mark!" Jake said, starting to laugh.

"I'm sorry!" he said back, giggling.

Jake rolled his eyes. "It's fine. He'll get over it. Don't tell your mom I have a man either…"

Mark smirked. "Your secret is safe with me…"

"When can I take him home?" I asked, pulling Mark closer. Jake paused, looking over his chart.

"Hmm… well, he might have to stay for the rest of the week, just so we can monitor his vitals, mental state, and such… he's been through a lot." I nodded.

"A week?" Mark said with a groan. Jake smiled.

"What? you get a week with your favorite cousin in the whole world! besides, Emmet is your doctor anyway, so i'll make sure he goes easy on ya." Mark laughed a little.

"Tell him I'm sorry, please? if I knew he was dating the only non-psychotic person in my family. I would have made some sort of metal note."

Jake nodded, leaving us alone again.

Mark looked at me before pulling my lips back to his.

"Now, where were we?"
