AN: I had this chapter finished and was about to post it when I decided that I did not like the ending. After writing a completely new ending which I know all of you will be happy with I am finally posting this. Sorry for the delay.
AN2: There's only one more chapter peeps.
Warning: This chapter contains lemon.
The day that Jacob had been looking forward had finally arrived. This time tomorrow he would be a high school graduate and would be living with Bella. This was his last night in the house that he had grown up in, tomorrow he would enter the real world of taking care of and providing for himself and being the owner of a business with people who counted on him to be there for them and have the answer to every question they had. It was a lot to put on an eighteen year old's shoulders but he was up for the challenge, he had dealt with things harder than this and survived. How hard could it be to stand on his own two feet? His dad had made sure that he had a good head on his shoulders and had raised him to be proud of earning an honest living. As long as he had Bella he could do anything.
Bella told him everyday that she was proud of him for all the things that he had accomplished. They had been through so much in the past several months that they were looking forward to a little normalcy. They would make their house a home and fill it with all the love that they had for each other. All he had to do was make it through the next five hours and he would be fine.
He got out of bed as the sun was just starting to come up over the horizon. His dad would need to take a shower and it would take forever to get him in at this hour. The house was mostly quiet, he could hear Paul snoring from the living room where he and Rachel slept with their niece and nephew. He should wake him up before his dad heard him and threw him out on his ass. Paul got up reluctantly and Jacob put on a pot of coffee for the girls and Luna. The twins door was open and the air mattress was empty when he passed by the room. He could see light filtering from underneath the bathroom door.
Jacob knocked lightly before turning the knob. Rebecca already had Billy in the shower and was adjusting the water for him. Jacob cleared his throat to get her attention and she looked over her shoulder with a tired look.
"If you need to use the bathroom I'll be out in a minute," she said over the sound of rushing water.
"I was going to do that."
"I'm on top of it, go and load Charlie's truck with your stuff," she said before turning back to their dad.
Jacob did as his sister told him without questioning her. Rebecca had mentioned the night that she got there that she and Syrus had decided to move onto the reservation. Luna was the only family that Syrus had and he had made the decision that it was time for a change and also because it wasn't fair that the responsibility of taking care of Billy fell mostly on Jacob's shoulders. It was time that someone else stepped in.
An hour later Jacob was getting out of the shower when he heard Charlie and Bella in the living room talking to Billy and Rebecca. He saw a box on his bed with his name written in Bella's quick but neat handwriting as soon as he stepped into the room. He opened the small square box and smiled at the picture of their house with the words 'Our First Home' inscribed into the bottom of the silver frame. He knew just the place to put it when they got home later. Home, he would be sharing a house with Bella. It was mind boggling and exciting at the same time.
There was a light rap on his door as he tried in vain to tie his tie. Why hadn't he gotten a clip on like Quil had suggested. He growled in aggravation as he yanked the knot out and started over again.
"Let me do it," Bella suggested, coming to stand in front of him.
"Since when do you knock?"
"I thought that you might throw something at me if I didn't announce myself first. You were ready to shred this tie to pieces, imagine what you would have done to me."
"I would not have done a thing to you," he said, tilting his head so that she could slip the tie through the knot she had made.
"There," she said stepping back.
"Why'd you step away? Come back here," he said pulling her back to him.
She placed a hand on his chest as he leaned down to capture her lips. It was a gentle kiss, the kind that stole her breath because she would never have imagined someone Jacob's size could ever be so gentle. They were the kind of kisses that lingered and always left her wanting more. Her fingers fisted in his hair and gripped his tie in a tight grip, not wanting him to pull away until she was good and ready and completely satisfied. He brushed his lips to hers in a feather light kiss before pulling away.
"Luna's coming down the hall," he murmured against her lips.
Bella busied herself with smoothing down his tie and rubbing the corner of his mouth where her chapstick had rubbed off on him. Luna stood at the door watching them with a knowing smile.
"There are other people in the house you know? You two lovebirds can't start your honeymoon phase yet," she teased.
"We haven't even talked about getting married," Bella said with a shake of her head.
"Not yet, but you will," Luna said, still smiling before pushing away from the door.
"Are you done getting ready? I was supposed to tell you that Rebecca wants to take some pictures before you leave ."
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be," he said with a shrug.
Bella looked around the room with a sentimental look. She couldn't count how many hours she had spent with Jacob in this room. That time in their lives was over and they would be starting another chapter. She didn't want to think about marriage; not for another few years, at least. She wanted him to herself for as long as she could and brining kids into the picture would tarnish that.
XXXX
Bella held the camera up to capture one last picture of Jacob in his cap and gown before the ceremony came to a close. Angela had been nice enough to let her borrow her camera and she had gotten some really great shots, the best of which was the one of Jacob walking across the platform to accept his diploma. Her ears were ringing from being stuck between Quil and Embry who had decided to see who could yell the loudest and if they didn't stop soon she would end up banging their heads together.
The principal called the last name and drew the ceremony to a close and Bella was the first one out of her seat. She was polite as she stepped over and around people to get to the football field. Jacob was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs, a hand held out for hers to pull her to him in a one armed hug. She wrapped her arms around his waist, peppering his neck, chin and corner of his mouth with kisses.
"Easy, save some of that for later," he said with a low chuckle.
She pulled away, her face slightly pink and her eyes downcast before swatting him on the chest. She was able to bring her blush under control before Billy and her dad made there way over to them a minute later. She stepped away to give Jacob a few minutes with his dad while everyone else fought against the crowd to get to them.
"How did you get down here so fast without falling?" Quil asked, bewildered.
"I have no idea," she said with a breathless laugh.
"Your dad asked me to move your stuff over to the lake house, but I need your keys since I'm going to need your truck."
She searched her pockets in vain trying to find them before hearing something jingle from a few feet away.
"Looking for these?" Jacob asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"How?" she asked, confounded.
"I swiped them while you got carried away," he said with a smirk.
He tossed them to Quil who caught them with ease and left without asking what Jacob had meant. Bella stood a few feet, still staring at him with questioning eyes.
"I had to put your key to the house on your key ring," he explained.
She smiled, not really believing that they had a house to call their very own to go home to. How had they gotten so lucky? She was swept up into her musings, not realizing that Sue was wanting to take pictures of her and Jacob. He squeezed her waist and she looked up at him, excitement and promise shining in her eyes.
"That's is one for the mantle," Sue praised.
"My God, can't the two of you crawl out of the little world that you two live in and grace us commoners with your presence, for once?" Leah asked.
"Is it me or does that guy look like Chris Hemsworth?" Bella asked.
"Where?" Leah asked, looking around quickly.
"Nicely done Bells. The force is strong in that one," Embry said with a nod.
Leah gave Embry a dirty look and tossed a scoff in for good measure. Bella wasn't the type of person who showed public affection all the time even though Jacob would use any excuse to touch her whenever he felt like it. It was something that she was still getting used to. Sue took one picture of them before asking Embry to take some with Jacob.
Billy and Charlie watched from a few feet away, neither were ready to look go of their kids but there wasn't a lot that they could do because living together was what Jacob and Bella wanted and the two parents only wanted to see their kids happy. Bella came to stand in between them, draping an arm over her dad's shoulder and putting a hand on Billy's. Billy took hold of her hand and squeezed it gently.
Billy was thankful that Bella had been the one that Jacob had imprinted on. He had been hoping and praying that it would happen during Edward's absence but Bella hadn't been ready at the time. They had taken their sweet time and danced around the truth for a year but they had finally realized what Billy had known all along: they were made for each other. There wasn't another person who completed and filled Bella's heart the way that Jacob did and there wasn't anyone who was more strong willed, understanding, or willing to put up with Jacob's very seldom temper tantrums the way that Bella did.
Charlie took them out to lunch as Jacob's graduation present. He had really splurged and made them a reservation at the nicest restaurant in all of Forks, not the diner or the restaurant where most parents took their kids to celebrate things like this. He told them to order whatever they wanted and Jacob took the suggestion and ran with it.
"Uh son, you do know that Sue is making dinner for us in a couple of hours, right?"
"I'll burn this off before then," Jacob said dismissively.
"I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know," Charlie mumbled over and over again until Bella kicked him lightly under the table.
Billy tried in vain to stop hide the amused smile that spread across his face so he ducked his head and covered his mouth with his hand. Jacob was oblivious to what was going on around him once the food came, the only thing the thought about other than the food was the word of caution that his dad gave him for when he ate in front of others who didn't know what he was. To the rest of the patrons of the restaurant he looked like a typical teenager who was eating to combat his ever changing and growing body, none of them would suspect the truth.

At Charlie's Bella's room was nearly bare. Her bed was gone, it had been taken over to the lake house along with her desk, rocking chair and armoire. Charlie was planning on turning the room into a trophy room so Bella had been happy to take the furniture off his hands.
Bella sat indian style on the floor in between the front windows while Jacob lay on his back next to her tossing a tennis ball up in the air. They were the only ones there since Charlie had dropped them off and promised to text one of them when everything was ready in La Push.
"Are you nervous?" Bella asked to break the silence.
"About what?" Jacob asked, catching the ball effortlessly.
"About us living together."
"Nah, we've had this house to ourselves enough that it feels like we've been living together for months. Why? Do you have any skeletons in your closet that I need to know about?"
"I'm probably worrying over nothing. I just don't like the idea of my dad living alone again."
"He lived on his own for sixteen years Bells and he managed just fine. We'll be less than twenty minutes away so it's not like you'll never see him."
"I know," she said quietly.
"I'm nervous to leave my dad too. Even though Bec and Syrus will be moving down here at the end of the summer it doesn't change the fact that he'll be alone with no one to rely on if something should happen to him."
Bella nodded, she did not want to think about what could happen to Billy in the house all by himself. Maybe now was the time to talk to him about getting a cordless phone and updating his cell phone to one that had more reliable service instead of the flip phone with spotty reception that pick and chose when to work that he'd had for five years. Bella knew that being nervous about living with someone was normal but most people didn't have a disabled parent to worry about like Jacob did.
XXXX
Jacob and Bella hadn't had a clue what to expect when they got to the lake house. Jacob had ran through the woods at top speed with Bella in his arms because he said that going through the woods was faster and there was less of a chance of anyone seeing them. Jacob had placed her on the porch gently, grabbing hold of her hand closest to him before pushing the door open.
This was only Bella's second time seeing the house since the renovations had been done. There were no words to describe how she had felt when she and Jacob had pulled up and she had seen the new freshly whitewashed picket fence and the canopy swing in the front yard. She had been filled with so much emotion that she had thrown herself at Jacob, burying her neck in his neck as she fought the urge to cry.
They went into the living room first only to find their boxes stacked against a wall, waiting to be unpacked and a hand me down couch that Bella remembered seeing at Embry's the one and only time she had ever been there. The kitchen was bare except for a card table that had been collecting dust in Charlie's basement for years. There was a note on the table so Bella pulled away from Jacob to reach for it.
Jacob,
I know that you were expecting a graduation party tonight but everyone thought that the two of you might want to spend your first night in your new home alone. We'll do something this weekend.
Sue
"Your graduation party has been rescheduled for this weekend," Bella announced.
"Lets go to the bedroom," he said taking her hand again.
Bella's bed was in the middle of the room against the far wall and her rocking chair was in the corner next to the sliding door that led out to the back yard. She had never seen the dresser set that was on the opposite wall or the night tables on either side of the bed. Someone had gifted them with new furniture?
"I can't believe that we live here," Bella said with a disbelieving laugh.
"Do you like it?"
"Like it? I love it; thank you for making this happen," she said staring up at him with admiration.
"You don't have to thank me. Don't you know by now? I'd do anything for you," he said, brushing his fingers down her cheek.
She leaned into his touch, closing her eyes with a content smile. Jacob leaned down to brush his lips to hers He cupped her face in his hands, applying pressure to the kiss, he needed her to know how he felt about her and he would not let up until she understood just how deep his feelings for her went.
Bella pulled away only because she was starting to feel light headed and the room was starting to spin. No one else had ever kissed her like that. She had never thought that being this happy was possible and she didn't think that there were two people more happy and in love than they were. She didn't know how she had fought her feelings for Jacob for so long. Why had it taken hurting both Jacob and Edward for her to realize what she wanted? Jacob had been there in front of her all along and she had been too blind to see it.
"Can I ask you something?" she asked gently.
"Why do I get the feeling that I am not going to like what you're about to ask me?"
"I'm just curious, what would you have done if you hadn't imprinted on me?"
"You mean if you had married Edward after all? I guess that I would have come back eventually and I would have resumed our friendship."
"What if I hadn't married Edward and you hadn't imprinted on me?"
"Then I would not have let up until you saw how much I cared about you. Either way we would have been together so what does it matter?" he asked curiously.
"I'm just wondering how I could have turned a blind eye to your feelings for so long. I feel horrible about the way I treated you ," she mumbled.
"Don't. It's in the past," he said with a shake of his head.
"I can't even apologize?"
"There's no need. You're here with me now, that's all I've ever wanted."
Bella stared up at him in wonder, how did he always know the right thing to say at exactly the right moment to ease her fears? She shook her head slowly before wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him down to her level. She pressed her entire body against his as she kissed him with so much force that she even surprised herself.
Feeling bold, she walked them backwards until her knees met the bed and she climbed onto the bed without breaking the kiss. Jacob's arms rested on the bed on either side of her, he loved when she was like this. There weren't many times when she initiated things but he was not going to tell her no if she wanted to make up for their time lost by having sex with him.
His hands traveled up her sides in a feather light touch until he came to the top button of her top and popped the buttons one by one with ease before pushing the shirt off of her shoulders. Bella threw it on the floor before pulling him down onto the bed with her. He kept his weight off of her by leaning on his elbows. She took him in, her gaze intense yet loving. Her chest heaved and her breast threatened to spill out of her bra which she doubted he would mind, it would save him from having to take it off.
His hands moved down her stomach, eliciting a giggle from her when he worked them over her sides. She squirmed underneath his touch, putting her hands between them to pull his shirt up his torso. She couldn't count how many times she had found herself staring at his flat, toned stomach. Edward would get so jealous when he caught her doing it that he wouldn't speak to her for hours. She fantasized about his abs the entire time he was in Hawaii.
Once his shirt was over his head he pinned her to the bed with an playful look in his eye. She knew exactly what he was going to do and she had to act fast if she was going to stop the tickle fight that was about to happen. She scrambled out from underneath him fast than she ever thought she could.
"I am not going to let you put one more finger on me," she warned.
"Why not?" he asked with a laugh.
"Because I have a better idea," she said, turning to run out of the room.
She was halfway down the hall by the time Jacob made it to the door. She was was trying to kick off her shorts and run at the same time to no avail. He swooped in, cradling her to him and she rested her head on his shoulder.
"What exactly does this idea of yours involve?"
"Take me to the kitchen," she said with a dramatic sigh.
He sat her down just inside the kitchen and she was finally able to push her shorts down and they were kicked underneath the table. She crossed the room to lean against the counter before shedding her underwear. She hopped onto the counter before fixing her gaze on him.
"Are you waiting for an invitation?" she asked, her eye brow quirked in curiosity.
He gave her an even look before stalking across the room in two strides. He pushed his basketball shorts and boxers down with one hand while Bella watched him with lust filled eyes. He knelt in front of her, draping a leg over each shoulder. He started at her ankle, trailing kisses up her leg until he stopped at the inside of her thigh. He was eye level with her center and it was taunting him, begging him to do something, anything to make her react.
He looked up at her from under his lashes with a smirk before going in for the kill. Bella's breath hitched with the first swipe of his tongue over her folds. She hummed her approval, encouraging him to keep going. She didn't normally let him have all the control because they had agreed that they were equal partners but she would relinquish control just this once so that he could show her exactly what he thought of her.
Her juices flowed over Jacob's tongue letting him know that she was enjoying what he was doing. Two of his fingers slipped into her, increasing the pleasure that was surging through her. He knew that she wouldn't last long and was surprised that she hadn't demanded that he be inside her yet. Her fingers threaded into his hair and she relaxed against the cabinet behind her, her ankles crossed against his back and her entire body was offered to him for the taking.
After a few minutes of her moaning in approval and chanting his name over and over again Jacob finally stood. She looked at him with questioning eyes as he picked her up wordlessly and lay her on the linoleum. His body was stretched out above her and his weight rested on one arm while he positioned himself at her center. She groaned/sighed when he slid into her, lifting herself off the floor to meet his thrust.
He pushed into her slowly, wanting to savor the moment. He might be able to go all night and into tomorrow without a break but Bella would need at least half an hour to recover. He didn't mind as long as she spent her recovery time naked so that he could cherish her body the way that it should be.
"I love you," she said, her voice thick with lust.
"Love you too," he said, slurring the words together.
This was how it was every time they were together, he got so drunk off of her love that all he could think about was how amazing she made him feel. He could tackle any challenge thrown at him as long as she was at his side. He hoped that the feeling never went away. Her walls tightened around him and she arched her back.
"Jake," she gasped.
He unloaded his seed with a grunt before rolling off of her. She caught her breath before standing up. She held a hand out to help him from off the floor and led him back down the hall to the bathroom. She silently started the shower and climbed in, pulling him along with her.
"What-" he started.
"We aren't done. Now shut up," she said before reaching behind him for the bar of soap.
They had never taken a shower together. She had always said that shower sex was overrated. He wasn't about to complain as she ran the soap over his shoulders and down his chest. Her free hand went to his cock which was now starting to come back to life. She ran her hand down his cock in smooth strokes and he closed his eyes and let his head rest against the shower wall. Once his member was completely standing at attention Bella got down on her knees, looking up at Jacob, his eyes were still closed. She leaned in, her tongue jutting out to catch the precum that was leaking from the tip.
Jacob's eyes snapped open and he looked down at her in surprise. Yes, she had given him blow jobs before but he had never told her about his fantasy of receiving one while in the shower. His hands fisted in her hair as he willed himself not to blow his wad too soon. His breathing shallowed and he tried to think of anything but Bella's mouth on his cock. How could she be so good at this? He knew that he was the only guy she'd been with because she had admitted that she hadn't so much as fooled around with any other guy other than him. She pulled away and he opened his eyes and looked down at her.
"What are you thinking about?"
"The Supersonics," he admitted.
"Why?" she asked with a laugh.
"Because you are way too good at giving head," he said with a firm nod.
Her body shook with laughter as she stood.
"Well, it's good to know that I'm good for something," she said with a smile.
"I can think of plenty things that you are good at."
"Yeah? Like what?" she asked, her hand on his cock once more.
"You're distracting," he said with a moan.
"I'm good at distracting you? Okay, what else?"
"You know how to pull on my hair just hard enough to make me like it."
"Hmm," she said thoughtfully.
"You're pillow talk is pretty good too," he said with a lazy smile.
She leaned in to kiss the hollow of his neck, applying just enough pressure to make his breath hitch. His moan vibrated against her lips, making her smile. Her hand fondled his balls and she could feel his stomach tighten against her. His semen shot across the stall to hit the curtain and she used the shower head to wash it off. She quickly washed Jacob off before turning off the water.
She walked back to the kitchen and he followed her to find her leaning into the refrigerator with her ass on full display.
"What next, genius?" he asked slapping her still wet ass.
"Hey!" she yelled in protest.
"Aww, do you want me to kiss it and make it better?" he asked in a baby voice.
"That would be nice actually. And to answer your first question I thought that we could get something to eat and then move to the living room for round three."
"You want to christen the house? In one night?"
"Why not?" she asked with a shrug of her shoulders once she had placed the things needed to make sandwiches on the counter.
"I like the way you think. Best. Idea. Ever." he said, placing kisses between her shoulder blades, the small of her back and finally his handprint from earlier in between the last three words.
She smiled, draping her arms over his shoulders and he pulled her to him so that there wasn't any distance between them. He leaned down to place a quick kiss to her lips before pulling away.
"I am starving," he said grabbing the bread bag and pulling out a handful of slices.
Bella watched him make a triple decker sandwich and then she made herself a sandwich before grabbing a can of soda for each of them from the fridge. They ate in the living room and soon Bella made good on her promise. Things weren't always going to be this good for them, they would have their share of hard times but they would face them together just like they always had.
