Hey guys this is my first story on the TAWOG series, hoping that it will do great and this story is actually based off some of my life experiences so yeah. Don't be a stranger to leave a review ok . I do not own the amazing world of gumball or any of its characters.

CHAPTER 2

Stepping outside making his way to the metal carriage with each step on the harsh pavement sending a cold shiver up the young cat's spine since his apparent lack of foot wear, finally making it to the bus stepping inside and passing rocky the driver of the bus an orange poppet wearing a rock t-shirt, making it farther inside but only to be stop by the constant stares from his fellow classmates, which were not the stares of greeting or acceptance but instead the stares of ridicule and being looked down upon, since word of gumball's families financial struggles person's at school and outside of school have been treating them more differently and even been avoiding them which is not so strange since there record haven't been the best, but since recently the avoidance has increased to disturbing amount even people once considered friends to gumball have been less apparent in his life.

Waving and smiling nervously to everyone while making his way to the back of the bus where he normally sits trying to ignore the so obvious stares. Gumball began to bring everyone out of focused to try to make the stares less noticeable a trick picked up when he had stage fright, it began to working to his delight until he was tripped by something ,falling head first on the filthy and hard surface, being laughed at by everyone.

"You should look where you're going Dumball". A tauntful voice spat at the still groaned gumball.

Which gumball recognized instantly, lifting himself up off the buses surface and staring is tormentor straight in the face, with anger leaving his nostrils with every breath he inhales and exhales.

"What the fuck's your deal Tobias!" Gumball shouted in the rainbow-humanoid's face while getting the attention of the entire bus including Darwin and Anise who are just noticing what's happening.

"Oh nothing just putting garbage where it belongs" Tobias said in a mater a fact kinda tone.

Which only increase gumball's anger and wanting nothing more but to punch that smug smile off his face. Gumball and Tobias have not always been at each other's throats they were once good friend but since gumball and penny have started going out, he's been acting like a real jerk and claims that gumball Stoll her away from him and that him and penny were made for each other since he's a jock and she's a cheerleader which made no sense

.

"I still don't know what penny see's in you your practically wearing rags, your hairs a mess and moving closer to the fuming cat and taking a waif recoiling back covering and his nose, you stink". Tobias said earning laughter from everyone except Darwin and Anais who only shot angry glares at everyone quickly silencing them.

"You're just jealous that she's my girl and not yours'". Gumball said in a calmer tone since he already won this cause penny's still his girlfriend, but anger could still be felt in his words.

"But for how long my dear gumball everyone knows that penny's been avoiding you at school it's only a moment of time before she comes running into these hands " Tobias said getting out of his cheer and getting closer in gumball's face, but getting shoved by him into the cheer and falling to the groaned.

Tobias lifting himself up of the groaned and getting back up in gumball's face shoving him with both hands only sending gumball a few steps back, making gumball smirk at Tobias's weakness then shoving back they then went into a fury of shoves with the kids going into a chant repeating the words "fight, fight" taking the attention of Darwin who quickly got out of his cheer and running to his brother.

"Gumball!" Darwin shouted getting gumball's attention, turning his attention from Tobias to his frantic brother which Tobias took advantage throwing a punch at the distracted gumball, who quickly took notice of the incoming punch dogging and barley barely missing the blow.

Gumball noticing Tobias's seriousness seeing him in a boxing position which gumball copied and getting into his stance as well but difficult since he's still in a moving vehicle, balling his hands into a fist with rage and throwing a punch at the cocky jocks face making it inches away from his face only to be sent off his feet from the instant halt of the bus sending the three standing boy's to the floor to gumball's discontent.

"DUDES! Settle down, Gumball and Tobias stop fighting, Darwin sit down if not I'm telling principle Brown and that would be pretty on cool". Rocky said with his foot still firmly on the breaks.

"Gumball common let's just go sit down it's too early for this". Darwin said already on his feet and helping gumball on his.

"Yeah". Gumballs said in a sour mood releasing Darwin hands and standing for his self while making his way to the back of the bus.

"Yeah you better run pussycat" Tobias said getting into his seat mocking gumball and sending the bus into laughter once again.

"Just ignore them buddy let's just make it to school without any more problem's ok". Darwin said while getting in his seat fallowed by gumball who took the seat closest to the window, resting his hand on the window staring through it at the dark skies and the few drop that splash against the glass surface.

Tobias's words being repeated in his head constantly questioning his relationship with penny "his penny really avoiding me, I know lately our relationship has been a little rough around the edges and we don't see each other has often has I would like but still? Gumball thought.

Leaning back more in his seat, now staring at the buses floor not looking at anything in particular, trying to find something to reassure him of his and penny's relationship but nothing came to mind he began to think about when he's at school and she always busy or says she's too busy to spent time with him and even when there alone together she always seems distant or in a hurry to leave, barley showing any sign of affection or love that was seen in the past a year ago before his mom lost her job and things were perfect for him.

The more he thought the more he'd find problems with him and penny and even questioning if she even loves him anymore. Lifting his head staring though the window once more now with a heavy lump resting in his throat, with his heart feeling constricted and soar like someone's ripping it out of his chest, releasing a heavy sigh in an attempt to get rid of the still growing lump in his throat but instead signaling Darwin.

Darwin scouting closer to his brother tapping gently on his shoulder not wanting to startle him, gumball sluggishly turning around to see who's calling him not bothering to hide his gloomy and depressed expression, which took his brother by surprise from seeing his brother's new look in such a short period of time.

"Dude you look like hell what happened?" Darwin ask now worried about gumball's instant depression, getting even closer to the troubled feline.

"Nothing everything's just…fine "gumball replied dryly back to Darwin getting a frown from his worried brother.

"Gumball I know your lying and you know I won't give up until you tell me what's up so it would be easier to just tell me now ".Darwin said crossing is hands and with a determined look on his face.

Gumballs releasing a groan at his brother's persistence and annoyance, but it also made him feel kinda better to know Darwin will always be his caring and over protective self.

"And maybe Darwin can help me with this he's like with me every day so he might know if pennies acting weird around me or not, why didn't I think of this earlier". Gumball thought mind 'face palming his self while getting in higher spirits of Darwin answer.

"Um…Darwin I'm gonna ask you something and I want a completely honest answer ok". Gumball said beginning to show signs of nervousness and discomfort at the question he's about to ask his younger brother.

"Ok". Darwin replied confidently back, preparing himself for gumball question in progress.

"Well it's about what Tobias said about me and penny"

"What did he say? "Darwin asked since he was too far away to hear what he said.

"He said that penny's been avoiding me…which doesn't make any sense right she's? Just been busy right? I know our relationship hasn't been the best but th…ere's no way penny couldn't lo.. Lo… love me anymore right? Gumball ask with his voice losing volume with each word leaving small cracks at the end of each it killed him to even think of it or to even say it out loud.

Darwin not being the slightest bit prepared for this question just sat there staring at his pleading brother who's practically begging for an answer from him. Darwin was now stuck between a rock and a hard place has they would say, he's would be lying if he didn't notice penny's avoidance of his brother and that they might break up anytime soon, but the main problem is if he should tell gumball or not, if he tell him the truth he know that would devastate him and if lies it's just a moment of time before penny ends it any way's.

Gumball was beginning to become impeccant of Darwin's long responses to his love crises.

''Common dude were like five minutes away from school I don't have all day"

"Ok" Darwin said taking a large breath of air to get ready to give his response.

"Well I can't really answer these question for you gumball you'll have to ask penny I know this is not what you wanted for an answer but this is the best I could come up with to help you sorry". Darwin said not wanting to be that guy but this was the best way he could help gumball, with that the bus finally arrived at his destination at Elmore high.

Gumball looked disappointed at Darwin's answer but he knows that Darwin most have given it a lot of thought before he answered which lessened the disappointment just a little.

"It's ok I'll just have to do that then, she's my girlfriend after all it was dumb of me to even ask "Gumball said getting up and preparing to leave the bus but showing small hints depression and sadness, but determination to short this thing out hopefully for the best could be seen has well.

"Yeah I'm sure that Tobias was just talking shit like he usually do's". Darwin lied but in an attempt to bring his brother into higher spirits, accompanying him to the buses exit with them being the last once to leave since anise has already left.

"Y...yeah I don't know why I was bending myself in a not over this" gumball said stepping up the stair of the school's front entrance in slightly higher hopes and false clarity opening the doors of Elmore high where the rest of his day will play out.

This chapter was a little short and mostly in the bus hope to make rest of them more interesting and an OC his going to be add in the next chapter wonder who's it gonna be?
