I am completely in awe right now! You guys are amazing! :D
Thank you so much!

Here's the next chapter!

Oh, and BTW, some of you had asked about the songs.
At the end of the story, I'll include a list of all songs I used and their artists, so yeah...

"Make me."

Her words were more of a demand than a challenge and he felt his body respond.
He wanted nothing more than to take her, right here and now, but he had to be sure that she wanted the same thing.
They were walking on eggshells here, and they were about to fall or fly.

He stared into her brown eyes, the very same that had haunted his dreams for the past decade.
"Elena-"

Her name had barely off of his tongue, when she made the move.
Her hand reached out, grabbing his jacket, and pulled him against her.
It was all the invitation he needed.

Their lips crashed together, breathlessly, as they fought for dominance, hands on each other's bodies, ripping away at the clothing that dared to keep them apart.

He had half a mind to feel bad for the pretty little outfit, but found that he actually preferred it in tattered remains at their feet.
His jacket was gone, his shirt following, and he grasped Elena's waist, lifting her, and placing her on the counter, pulling away just enough to remove her boots.

She pulled his mouth back to hers the second they were gone, and he proceeded to kick off his own, not caring where anything landed.
God he needed her.

He wrapped his arms around her, her legs locking around his waist, and he lifted up, carrying her over to the nearest flat surface, the dining room table.

Luckily, it was void of anything accept some junk mail, which he quickly swept off with his free hand, before placing her on the table.

Her bra had come undone at some point, and she wasted no time in throwing it to the side, leaving her in only her underwear.
Damon practically growled as she lifted, reaching for the button on his pants, and soon, they were being kicked off too.

He brought his mouth down to her neck, kissing along her collar bone, until leaning to take a breast into his mouth.
She gasped as he did so, and he slid his hands under her body, angling her better.

He could stay like this for hours, with his mouth on her like this, and be happy.
He felt lucky just to be able to touch her, and needed to worship her body in every way she'd let him.
But with that in mind, he knew he wanted to have more of her.

His hand moved up to her shoulder, gently laying her back against the sleek table cloth, and he straightened himself.
His height allowed him a spectacular view, as Elena was sprawled out beneath him, her hair cascading around her head.

He allowed himself an appreciative roam of her body, before running a hand down the dip in her stomach, following it to the edge of her panties.
He only just noticed that they were a shimmering white that matched the bra that now lay somewhere behind them.

He heard her breath hitch as the ran this thumb over the material.
It was already damp.
She was so ready for him.

He hooked his fingers on the side of the underwear and pulled them down, enjoying the way the slid over her skin of her thighs, and down her legs.

He pulled at one of her calves, moving her body to the edge of the table.
He smirked a little at the scenery.
It seemed fitting, though, seeing as he was planning a perfect feast.

He pulled a chair up, and sat down, before pulling Elena's legs over his shoulders.
He took a second to admire her, open to him this way again, after so long, but his raging lust overcame that need soon.

His mouth came onto her quick and hot, sucking, licking, swirling, anything to get more of her inside of him.
He grazed her swollen clit with his teeth, before taking it into his mouth, and she moaned.
And if the sound of her pleasure didn't do the damnedest things to him.

Her wetness flowed for him, and he devoured as much as he could, running his tongue down her center, causing her to shutter.
He could feel her body tense as she built up to what he would make sure was an earth shattering orgasm.
But he wasn't ready to make her cum just yet.

He slowed down his ministrations and kept himself in check, even though he never wanted to stop.
Elena, who seemed to be having a problem catching her breath, pulled at him wordlessly.

Giving in to her, he detached his lips from her sweet core, and kissed up her body, until their mouths were reconnected.
She ran her tongue over his lips, before smirking at him, and there was something about knowing that she was tasting herself there that made him all the more eager to join them properly.

He pulled up, using his arm to bring her with him, until they were both, once again, standing on two feet.
Elena's skin was flushed, and her chest rose and fell with each breath.
He imagined he looked very similar.

With a raised brow, he motioned toward the hall, "Bedroom?"
She smiled in agreement, "Bedroom."

Chris was glad to know that he at least had some good friends to count on.

Tyler had been entirely okay with April crashing with them, but insisted that she should sleep in his bedroom, so his mother wouldn't find here there, seeing as Mrs. Lockwood knew the boys were in the game room.

Now, a few hour, a movie, some snacks, and two game matches later, Tyler and Kyle were both passed out, while Jeremy advanced to the next level of Gears on the Xbox.

Chris noticed that April, who'd been leaning against his shoulder for the last hour, had started dozing off some, and shook her a little.

"Come on," he smiled, when her eyes finally opened, "Let's get you in bed."
She nodded, drowsily, and he stood, before helping her to her feet.

Waving goodnight to Jeremy, they stepped out of the room, and he led her down the hallway.

She sighed as soon as she spotted Tyler's bed, and fell onto it, not even bothering to pull back the blankets.
Chris chuckled as he turned on the small lamp on the night stand, "You're doing it wrong."
She groaned, "Don't care."

He reached for the corner of the bed and freed the sheets, pulling them back, until April was forced to sit up.
The lamp threw off enough light to allow him to catch the annoyed look she gave him.

He only smirked, "Sorry, but you'll sleep better if you're comfortable, and these big houses get cold at night."
She seemed to be a little more awake now, and nodded, before moving to the far side of the bed, and pulled the blankets over her body.

He crawled up next to her, also getting under the covers, before reaching back to turn out the light.

Once the room submerged in darkness, April squirmed into his arms, and laid her head on his chest.
He rubbed her arm, hoping that her sleep would be peaceful after the chaotic night she'd had.
But she didn't go back to sleep.

He could tell because, despite the fact that his eyes were closed, he could feel her watching him.

"You okay?" he asked quietly.
She nodded, "Yeah."

He pressed his luck, "Whatcha thinking about?"
She sighed, "You."

He smiled a little, "What about me?"
Her response didn't come right away, and he opened his eyes enough to catch her worried expression, now looking down.

"What is it, babe?" he tried a softer tone.

She looked up into his eyes, before caving, "It's just what Vickie said...it kind of got me thinking."
He rose a brow, "About what?"

"Us," she admitted, "And whether or not we're actually going to last, you know, in the long run."
He blinked, "I think we can last as long as we want to."

"Can we though?" she challenged, "Don't get me wrong, I want to be with you for as long as I can, but things don't always happen the way you want...I mean, look at your parents."

"Okay, look at them," he went along, "They met in high school, and despite everything, they still found a way to be together."
Her brow only creased further, "After fifteen years though. It's just, life is so weird and unpredictable, and stuff happens that you can't control..."

He frowned, "Babe, I really don't think it's something to be worried about. We love each other, right? That's all that should matter."

She nodded a little, but he could tell her mind was still spinning.
He sighed, "What did Vickie say that has you worried about this?"

April shrugged, "It's not so much of what she said...just the issues that it brought up."
He was lost now, "What do you mean?"

April was the one sighing now, "Chris, there are tons of girls at school who like you. You're from two founding families, which let's face it, in this town, makes you practically royalty. You're popular, good looking, and now you have a famous parent."

"What's your point?" he pressed.

"I'm not saying that this matters," she corrected herself, "At least, not to me, but to some people, it does. And it's not like I think you're going to leave me or anything. I trust you, and I know our relationship is stronger than that, but I can't help but feel like things are going to change, the older we get. You can't deny that most high school relationships don't last, and in a few years we'll be going to college, and it just seems like it's getting a lot more complicated than it use to be, and..."

"And?" he urged.

"And I don't want to lose you," she admitted quietly, "Which I know is a stupid fear, but the more I think about it, the more real it feels, because there is so much stacked against us."

"Like what?" he encouraged her, knowing that if he interrupted her now with a long speech, she'd just close up.

"Like Kol," she started, "And your Dad being back, which is a good thing, of course, but it could make some changes. Then there's the fact that my dad doesn't like you, and now Vickie is mouthing stuff, and I'm afraid that if our relationship starts having rumors spread about it, my dad's gonna freak out even more. God, he'd kill me if he knew that we've slept together!"

She paused, thinking about that, "Actually, he'd kill you. I'd be grounded for life though. But my point, is that he wouldn't be happy about it, and I'd probably be banned from seeing you, and since you've been grounded I only ever see you at school anyway, and I kind of miss you, because for some reason none of the girls I hang out with seem to get me the way you do, and you are literally the most important person in my life, and I'm scared that my dad is never going to accept that, especially if he's convinced that you're corrupting me, and I just really really wish I could talk to my Mom."

Chris swallowed as April finally took a break from her rant, her voice thickening with tears.
He could tell that she was on the verge of losing it, and honestly, he didn't blame her.

So he pulled her tighter against his body, and she let go of the tears, her arms clinging to him.

He leaned his head against hers as the sobs shook her, and whispered into her ear how much he loved her.

He wished there was more he could do.
But in truth, he knew that there wasn't, because he'd never been as alone as she was.

Even with an absentee father, he'd always had someone.
Elena, his grandparents, his uncle Stefan, April, and even his friends.
Hell, as a Salvatore and a Gilbert, the whole town was there for him, accepting him as their own.

He would always be well known and loved.

But April wasn't from here, despite that her dad was, and she was treated to the usual outsider banishment most new kids experienced in their town.

The fact that her mother had died had only made people pity her.

She was smart though, as Chris soon found out, but even this made others feel uncomfortable around her.
Her simple, dark clothes hadn't helped either.

She had later told him that she'd hated her whole first year at Mystic Falls, often begging her father to let her go back to her old school, but the man hadn't budged.

She'd finally started hanging out with Briana and Amber, just to have someone to talk to.
But she had never truly fit in with any of them, and to this day, she complained of how annoying most of the girls their age were, only worried about boys, make up, and the latest fashion trends.

Chris was the first person she'd met that had actually intrigued her, or so she told him.
Maybe it was the fact that they'd both had to grow up a little faster, April in losing her mom, and Chris in taking care of Elena.
They'd clicked though, and in a way, understood each other better than anyone else ever could.

And there was no way in hell he was going to let anybody take that away from them.

"Shh," he whispered against her hair, "It's okay, baby."
She still clung to him, as if worried that he'd disappear if she let go, and he understood why.

April would never admit it, but losing her mother had caused some deep abandonment issues.
She never really let it show, but Chris knew.
Just like she had known about his, when it came to Damon.

God, they were all kinds of screwed up, weren't they?
But they did have each other, and that wasn't something he planned on changing any time soon.

"Let me tell you something," he insisted, leaning back so he could grip her face.
Her blue eyes, now rimmed with smeared mascara, looked up at him.

"You are the absolute best thing in my life, too," he admitted, "I love you, April. And I don't care what the statistics say, or what Vickie is running her mouth about. You and I...what we have is real, and I'm going to hold on to that for as long as we can."

He wiped under her eyes with his thumb.

"I'm not saying that things won't change," he allowed, "But if they do tomorrow, ten years from now, or never, all that matters is that we are here together, right now, tonight. And don't worry about your dad. He may not like me, but he's not going to try to keep us apart. Besides, he's hardly home anyway, you've admitted that yourself, and we could still see each other."

She nodded a little, noticeably calming.
He smiled, "Nothing is going to get between us, okay?"

Again, she nodded, and he kissed her.
She kissed him back for a moment, then he pulled away, "I love you."
"I love you, too," she whispered.

He pressed his lips against her forehead, "And I really am sorry about your Mom, baby. It really sucks that she's not here."

April sighed, "Yeah...I miss her."
"Of course you do," he noted softly, "She was your mom."

April actually smiled a little, "Elena reminds me of her a little."
His brow crooked, "Yeah?"

She nodded, "Yeah...she's really easy to talk to, and she actually seems to want to hear about your problems."
Chris smiled, "She is a pretty good listener."

April nodded, yawning, "Tell her thank you for me," she told him, her voice sounding drowsy again.
He watched as her eyes closed, "Of course."

It only took a few minutes for her breathing to mellow out, and she was gone.
Chris was glad, though slightly upset that she'd had to cry herself to exhaustion.

He hated seeing April in pain.
But he knew that it was pointless to worry over, because there was nothing he could do.

No matter how much he loved her, he would never be able to fill the void that her mother's death had left, and April had to learn to mourn her on her own.
But he would be there with her, offering comfort through every step, that much he was sure of.

With a sigh, he looked out the window across from him, catching the light from a million twinkling stars.
He had an odd feeling then, that maybe Mary Simmons-Young was up there somewhere, looking down on them.

He wasn't big into religion, but it was a comforting thought, thinking that maybe April's mother really was there for her, in some way, even if it was just in spirit.
He would have to be her physical rock.

In the quiet of the night, he cleared his throat.
It felt silly, even thinking of doing this, but part of him felt as if he need to, being so close with his own mother and all.

So quietly, he whispered into the air, "I love your daughter. She's strong, so I know she'll be okay...but I need you to know that I'll take care of her. I promise."

He wasn't sure if Mary had heard him somehow or if really was just talking to the sky, but either way, he felt a little better, and smiled at April's sleeping form, before finally, drifting off himself.

Elena barely had time to think before Damon had tossed her onto the bed, covering her body with his own.
She was loving every bit of this, but part of her was finding that he was much more demanding this time around.

Not that she was complaining.

She kissed him hard, and his hands came down, grabbing her arms, and pinning them above her head.
His mouth was on her neck then, biting at the skin, and she was making all kinds of noises under him.

She had known Damon would be good, but this was a lot more than she'd ever anticipated.

His fingers had slid between their bodies, and he was rubbing her clit again, teasing her.
His smell filled her nostrils, and every breath she took tasted like his skin.
She was completely overwhelmed with this complexity that was Damon.

Their bodies molded into each other perfectly, and she felt as if, in some way, they recognized what the conscious mind couldn't.
They'd done this dance before, and somehow, their reflexes knew it to be familiar.
Every move Damon made, she anticipated, and aided.

They tangled together on the mattress, a mess of heat and desire, as they just explored each other again, as they had wanted to for so long.

She finally got Damon underneath her, and moved her hands down to finally remove his underwear from the hard length that had been pressing against her.
The boxer-briefs slid down easily, once she pulled the elastic over his erection, and she had to admit that she was guiltily impressed with his size.

His body had definitely grown since they'd last been together, and he hadn't been small before. She felt a light blush cover her skin when his eyes caught her lingering stare.

He smiled, before grabbing her hand, and moving it to him.
She understood what he wanted without needing words, and took his member into her hand.

It never ceased to amaze her how something so rock solid could be covered in suck silky skin.
She ran her hand down his length, and felt his catch of breath, so she did it again, and again, keeping an eye on his face, watching his expressions.

Finally, on her eight or ninth pump, he grabbed her hand, stopping her.
Then his hand closed around the back of her neck, and he pulled her to him.

She fell into the kiss, and willingly let him flip them, so he now hovered above her.
She spread her legs open further, so he could rest against her, and she felt his tip brush against her core.

The heat that clouded his eyes let her know that he was aware of it too.
Aware of just how close they were of making this real.
Because after this, there was no turning back.

She was sure that Damon knew this too, because his eyes held a questioning glance, and he'd stopped moving.
"Elena," he started, but she cut him off.

"Don't give me the "are you sure" speech, Damon," she gave a small nod, "I know what we're doing, and what this means...I'm not going to regret it."

He smiled, "Good, neither am I...but that actually wasn't what I was going to say."
She blushed, "Oh...then what?"

She knew him well enough to know that he wouldn't have stopped if it wasn't important.

"Birth control?" he inquired, as though it were obvious, "I have condoms in my car..."

Elena felt like slapping herself, and felt like an idiot.
She was an adult, and was supposed to be responsible about these things, but to be honest, it hadn't even crossed her mind.
Not that it mattered, seeing as she'd had a contraceptive implanted after her short fling with Matt, just in case.

She smiled at him, "We're good. I have the implant."
"Thank God," he smirked, kissing her again.

She smiled, not wanting him to have to leave the bed anymore than he did.
His kisses lightened for a moment, and he pulled back again, meeting her eyes.

"But you are sure?"
She chuckled, "Yes! I told you."

He smirked, but still stared at her, "Elena..."
"Yes?" she rose a brow.
The teasing was gone now, "I love you."

Those three words had her heart fluttering, and with them, he pushed into her.

Damon had to fight back a groan as he thrusted into Elena's tight warmth.
Feeling complete now that he was connected to her once more, but was shocked at the pleasure that coursed through him.

It seemed ridiculous.
He had been having sex quite often, not long before coming back to Mystic Falls, and it had always been one fuck after another.
It felt good, sure, but that was it.

He was surprised by the sheer emotion he was hit with, not to mention the intensity of the pleasure.
Somehow, he'd known all along that it would be different with Elena.
She had been his first, after all.

But this was beyond anything he could have comprehended.

He moved inside of her, and her legs wrapped around his waist.
He was a skilled lover, and knew that he'd bring her pleasure, but their connection was more than the physical closeness.

He loved her.

And somehow, after all those anonymous nights, that still meant something.
Sex still meant something.
Because it was with Elena.
And he had a feeling that he wasn't ever going to be interested in being inside anybody but this woman from now on.

"God, Damon," Elena's voice was velvet in his ear, slightly rough with lust.
He increased his motions, thrusting in and out of her faster and faster, until he could feel her body clenching.

Her eyes weren't squeezed shut though, as they'd been earlier, but wide open, drinking him in as her pleasure rose.
He was nearly coming on the spot.

He kissed her lips, pressing as close to her as possible as he moved, and whispered into her ear, "Come for me, Elena."
He knew he wasn't going to last much longer...not with her.

Her name rolling off his tongue was like a trigger, and a cry escaped her lips as she began to convulse around his cock.

His name was a mantra that she screamed out, as her nails dug into the small of his back, and her ecstasy sent him into his own climax.
He thrusted a few more times, as he came, deep inside of her, until finally, he couldn't move anymore.

He slipped himself from her, but couldn't move any further at the moment, and had no will to do so anyway.
So he collapsed onto her, his head on her chest, both of their bodies gleaming with sweat, their hearts pounding.
He worried that he was too heavy for her, but she didn't complain, and had started running her fingers through his damp hair, so he figured she was alright.

"Hey, Damon," she said quietly, moments later.
He rolled off of her, and settled against the pillow next to her, before turning to meet her gaze, "Yeah?"
She was smiling, "I love you too."
