Twenty-five rebels approached His mansion with Dib and I in the lead.
We had figured out the security a few months ago.
It's weird that such a small creature could have such advanced technology.
But, maybe I'm just stereotyping.
Anyway, we crawled down under the motion sensors and climbed over the walls into a vent.
Twenty feet in, there was a hole.
We jumped down to the floor silently.
The next security was too complicated for even Dib to decipher.
But I figured it out.
All we had to do was deliver a pizza, and that idiotic robot would guide us through the maze.
I motioned for agent echo-flow to come forward.
He handed me the pizza, a rare delicacy in these times, but we needed it for the mission.
I opened the box, letting out the scent so that the robot could find it.
We had put on earbuds to block out the sound.
Suddenly, the robot came racing out from behind the corner.
It grabbed my hand and dragged me down the hall.
The resistance trailed behind.
We were now in the experiment room.
The robot took the pizza and handed me a door knob with doodles of a bunch of inanimate objects on it.
"He'go, Jimmy!" he said.
No, Jimmy is not my real name.
Besides, I liked to be called my code name.
"I told you, you shall refer to me as Shadow-Gleam" I said.
"Okeydokey," he replied.
You had to admit, even if he was the robot of an evil alien tyrant, and super annoying, he was pretty silly.
Back to the mission… I looked around at the people in cages - all the pleading faces, scared to death.
I walked over to a panel of buttons and began typing in the code.
Computer language for ZIM IS AMAZING.
Figures. Suddenly, an alarm blared; sirens and flashing lights go off.
"RUN!" I screamed to the team.
Some hesitated, but they had faith in me, so they started back towards the exit.
I finished the sequence, letting the prisoners out, who then chased after my crew.
I raced after them, about five yards behind.
Suddenly HE ran through the doors, with his PAK legs out and a murderous look across his face.
I was almost to the exit.
There were a few kids struggling to get through.
I was helping the last child out when I felt something cold and hard grab my leg.
I looked down.
A PAK leg.
I screamed in fear and hung on to a piece of metal jutting out from the wall as it began to pull me back.
"ZARA!" I heard him shriek.
Dib! I couldn't let him follow me!
"NO! DIB! Ughn- LEAVE ME! I-I'LL ESCAPE! WATCH OVER THE TEAM FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
The leg started pulling me faster.
I couldn't feel me foot by now and my hands were bloody from getting cut by the jagged metal.
Dib was still hesitating.
"GO! GO!" I screamed.
For the first time ever I saw a look of pure fear and uncertainty fall across his face.
I lost grip of the metal. "GOOOOO!" I screamed one last time.
Finally, he ran after the others.
And finally, I reached Zim.
He still had that murderous look on his face, but his eyes seemed to light up when he saw me.
Or maybe it was just my imagination.
Suddenly, darkness.
