"It seems our wives have made friends" Draco said to Ron.

"Guess we'll be seeing each other more often then, Draco" Ron replied, before both men followed their wives into the kitchen for a celebratory champagne.

Scorpius didn't really notice that Rose dawdled along the corridors to dinner, but he was surprised when she completely stopped just around the corner from the Great Hall. There was no one else around, so he backtracked so he was stood looking down at her.

"What's up?"

"The ceiling"
Scorpius was even more confused. He looked up at the carved stone ceiling, the architecture aged but still defined. "What's wrong with the ceiling?" He asked.

"Nothing's wrong with the ceiling" Rose half sighed, half laughed, "I was joking"

"Ooooh" Scorpius smiled as it hit him how obvious that was and how stupid he was to miss it. "But seriously, what's wrong?"

"I don't know what everyone's going to say when I walk in" she sighed. "I've been missing for two weeks, and who knows what theories people have spread"

"Well, they know that you've been in Mungos and they were strictly told by McGonagall that it's none of their business so no harassing me or your family, so there's probably been a bit of speculation, but don't worry about it, we can deal with it together if there's anything said" he was whispering by the end of it, his hand twirling that odd strand of red waves hanging over her shoulder.

Rose seemed quite calm as she leant into his body for a hug. "I know, but I just hate people making rumours about my family that get out of hand"

"Any rumours won't have gotten out of hand as there is an army of people to correct them without giving it away" he said as Rose's head sunk into his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. "There's nothing to be worried about as they're not going to mess with us" he grinned. "I mean, we have the bonus of about 400 Weasleys, two of which happen to be Ron and Hermione Weasley, Harry Potter and also Draco Malfoy, on our side. And I dunno about you, but I wouldn't want to get in the bad books of the last four" he grinned as he felt Rose chuckle into his chest.

"Ok. Let's go then" she said, unwrapping Scorpius' arms from around her and lacing her hand into one of his. "I haven't eaten properly in weeks and I'm starving"

When they arrived to the Great Hall, they looked around to see most people eating their dinner happily. When they looked towards the Gryffindor table, they saw a fleet of redheads charging towards them. Rose moved closer to Scorpius as her family swarmed around her.

"ROSIE!" Al yelled.

"You're back!" Hugo smiled.

"You look like you haven't eaten in two weeks" Lily said, pushing through the family, "so why don't we talk over dinner?" She suggested. No one moved. "ALRIGHT, EVERYONE BACK TO THE TABLE NOW!" She yelled. The Weasleys and Potters all moved away back towards their seats. Lily hung back and marched them all, with Rose and Scorpius laughing behind them. Heads turned to follow the Weasley parade down the length of the tables.

When they were sat down, they were joined by Leo, Lorcan and Lysander from the Slytherin table. It was a bit of a squeeze, but they all fitted.

"So, Rosie, how was the hacking?" Lily asked as Rose dug into a plate of lasagne.

"They couldn't do much before I went comatose" she said. "All they determined was that the memory is deep and I've put up strong mental barriers around it"

"So then what happened with the new hacking?"

"Well after I woke up yesterday, I was up for it, but then today they told us it would take at least 3 months to complete and I just left"

"You mean stormed out" Scorpius added.

"Stormed out, left, whatever" Rose dismissed. "But yeah, I wasn't going to sit in there for months on end undergoing torture when I have a stable solution for now" she flashed a grin Scorpius' way.

"So you're back now for good?" Lily asked

"Yeah, no more Mungos for me" Rose grinned.

"Which means more sleep for me" Scorpius smiled.

"And me" both Al and Lily said.

"You lot haven't slept?" Rose asked.

"Not well, no" Scorpius admitted. "We were worried!" He exclaimed when Rose looked at him in despair.

"Well, we're fixing that tonight then" she said, before turning back to her dinner.

"So, how's rumour control been going?" He asked the family and his friends.

"Surprisingly easy actually" Leo said. "There were a few to start with but between us they got dissipated and stopped. I think people just assumed it was a bug of some sort, as you two haven't exactly looked the image of health these last few months"

"You mean from when we weren't sleeping at all?" Scorpius checked. Leo nodded.

"Anyway, they're all gone" Lorcan grinned.

"Great" Rose smiled. "So, have I missed anything interesting?"

"Not really. We've all just been doing our own stuff to be honest - Leo's been helping me with some research but that's about it"

"Research about what?"

"Fireworks"

"Particular reason?"

"Summer plans" Scorpius grinned suspiciously.

"Do these plans involve me?" Rose nudged him in the shoulder.

"You'll have to wait and see I think" Leo chimed in from across the table.

After dinner, Rose and Scorpius headed back to their common room hand in hand.

"It's nice to be back" Rose said happily.

"It's nice to have you back too" Scorpius agreed. "I missed you more than I should have" he admitted.

"Awwwh, am I that loved?" Rose squeezed his hand lightly.

"No, I just started to miss the constant irritating" Scorpius smirked, squeezing her hand lightly.

Rose knew it was a joke, but she wasn't about to let him get away with it. "Well in that case, you won't get your 'maybe' from earlier" she pretended to huff, letting go of his hand and walking off briskly down the corridor.

"Wait, Rosie! I was joking!" Scorpius yelled, jogging down the corridor to catch up. Rose started running away.

"I know, but I'm not going to forgive you that easily!" She squealed as she felt a pair of arms wrap around her from behind. The familiar arms pulled her back and pushed her up against the wall. Suddenly Scorpius' wide eyes were right in her face.

"I think I can change your mind on that" he almost growled. Rose then noticed the slight tint in his usually light grey eyes.

"Oh really" she raised her eyebrow slightly. Scorpius closed the distance between them with a searing kiss, full of desire and passion. Roses eyes widened with surprise. This was new for them. The searing kiss turned into a heated battle of tongues, both of them completely absorbed in each other. Rose broke off for air, and Scorpius took that as an invitation to trail kisses down her neck.

"Scorp" Rose gasped, "we should go inside our-oh yes! Right there!" She gasped as he nibbled on a soft patch on her collar bone.

"So you want me to stop?" He asked between kisses.

"No!" Rose exclaimed. "But I would like to carry on with this in your bedroom where I don't feel like a teacher's going to find us sprawled against a wall" she pointed out. Scorpius drew back and held out his hand for her. Rose grabbed it eagerly and ran off down the corridor, dragging Scorpius behind her. They ran through their common room and were about to continue into Scorpius' room when they noticed something funny.

"I'm pretty sure there used to be two doors" Scorpius frowned, looking in confusion at the single oak door in front of them.

Rose stepped forwards and opened the door, peeking inside. "Scorp, you've got to see this" she said, opening the door completely. Inside the huge room was a luxurious double bed, with a large fitted wardrobe along one wall, and on the other another smaller door and a bookcase with lots of storage.

"Dear Rose and Scorpius, considering you were not making effective use of two bedrooms, we thought it would be more considerate to enlarge the room you shared. This will also be your accommodation for when you return next year, so please make yourselves at home" Rose read from a piece of parchment on the end of the bed.

"How bad do you want to explore?" Scorpius asked.

"Why?" Rose raised her head from the little piece of parchment.

"Because I really want to ravish you on that new and very comfy looking bed" Scorpius grinned flirtatiously.

"Well, Scorp, I think you'll tolerate waiting 10 minutes whilst I change into something a bit sexier and also check out the bathroom" she winked, walking over to the wardrobe. She opened it to see that all of her clothes were on one side and all of Scorpius' were on the other. She quickly dug through her clothes and picked out what she wanted, before heading into the bathroom. The new bathroom was not much different to their last one. The only difference was that everything was just a bit bigger – the bath now looked a similar size to a muggle hot tub and there was a large double basin instead of just one.

After changing, Rose walked back into their new room to see Scorpius lying on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "The ceiling is enchanted like the great hall" he said, not looking away from the ceiling. "But it shows what we want it to show, so I thought that a clear starry night would be a good…start" he finally looked up. Rose stood there in a blue lacy lingerie set, her hair loose down her back.

"So, Mr Malfoy" she said, sauntering over to their bed. "Where were we?" she asked as she crawled next to him on the sheets.

"We were just about here" he growled, pouncing on her and pushing her gently back onto the bed
