"So, Mr Malfoy" she said, sauntering over to their bed. "Where were we?" she asked as she crawled next to him on the sheets.
"We were just about here" he growled, pouncing on her and pushing her gently back onto the bed.
A/N: Hello! After lots of debating, I thought I'd keep it family friendly and skip on ahead. Sorry for those who would have wanted it to carry on, but this story has to go somewhere! -Rxx
"Well, that was certainly a pleasant way to get us some sleep last night" Rose mumbled the next morning, rolling over so her arm draped across Scorpius' bare chest.
"Mmmm" he murmured an agreement, his eyes still closed. His arm looped around her. "Definitely. I haven't slept that well in weeks"
"Me neither" Rose laughed quietly. "What time is it?"
"I'll just check" Scorpius cast a quick tempus charm, which displayed the time 8:19. "Shit, we better get up" he said, moving to sit up in their bed.
"Yeah, I need food before breakfast" Rose said sleepily.
"Surely you mean food before Transfiguration?" Scorpius chuckled. He got out of bed and started to locate his uniform from the wardrobe. "You know, I'm going to love this next year" he said thoughtfully. "We get to still live together here and get paid to do it" he laughed.
Rose hummed a quiet agreement from the bed. Scorpius looked over to see she was falling back asleep on his side of their bed. "Rosie, hun" he laughed, "you have to get up" he chuckled, throwing her robes and underwear onto the bed for her.
"I don't want to" she pouted, rolling over so that she could stay asleep.
"Well then, you can explain to McGonagall why you're so tired" Scorpius grinned. "She'll probably guess anyway"
"Not bloody likely" Rose groaned, finally sitting up and pulling her clothing towards her. "I'm gunna have a quick shower" she said, wandering into their bathroom.
"Better be quick, otherwise you're going to be really late!" Scorpius shouted through the shut door.
"We're not going to be late because you're going to run down to the kitchens and bring us some toast to eat here!" was the muffled reply through the door.
"I'll race you. Whoever is back here dressed first wins" he said, running out of the door.
"Beat you" Rose grinned smugly as Scorpius raced back into their common room carrying hot toast, croissants and two apples.
"How did you manage to do that all so quickly when normally you take half an hour in the bathroom?" he marvelled, sinking into the chair next to her.
"Sorry that's classified girls only information" she winked, grabbing a slice of toast. She picked up an apple and put it in her school bag, before wrapping a croissant in a napkin and stowing it away too. "Thanks for picking up a morning snack" she said, putting her bag on the floor.
"So Transfiguration, Double Charms and Potions today then" Scorpius said, indicating towards her bag. "I better pack mine as well" he said, but Rose quickly cast a summoning charm and all the right books flew into his bag, which then landed neatly by his feet.
"You're a wizard, you should use charms more often" Rose grinned, picking up her bag and standing up. "But right now, we need to focus on Transfiguration. Charms can wait for the double" she smiled, before taking Scorpius' hand and walking out the door.
At lunch, Leo dragged Scorpius away for some research time (they still refused to tell Rose what exactly it was for), so she sat with Lily and had a catch up gossip.
"So you and Scorp have your own shared room now instead of the two singles?" Lily asked again.
"Yes Lils, dos has become uno" she smirked.
"Are you still talking about the bed, or about you and loverboy?" Lily laughed.
"Both, to be honest" Rose shrugged off, waiting for the reaction.
"ROSE WEASLEY! Why didn't you tell me this had happened! I mean, I had my suspicions but when!?" Lily looked over the moon.
"Well, we nearly got there at his house yesterday but dad was downstairs so we thought best to keep Scorp's balls attached to him" Rose laughed.
"I'll keep in mind that you didn't tell me that your dad was round the Malfoys, but continue" Lily quickly interrupted.
"Last night when we found the new sleeping arrangements" Rose said, at which Lily looked a bit surprised.
"Only last night? Well, we were all wrong then..."she trailed off.
"Lily, who do you mean by 'we'?" Rose questioned.
"Well, Al, Hugo, me, we thought you two had been at it for months" Lily smirked at Rose's shocked face.
"Well we never really got there I guess" Rose shrugged, "I mean, we've been sharing a bed for months so I can see the logic but I guess we've just been busy or too tired"
"So, now we've determined that your virginity wasn't lost months ago, but quite recently, fill me in on the gossip-worthy details" Lily clasped her hands in a mischievous way. Rose gave her a playful punch on the arm. "I'm deadly serious" Lily said.
"What do you want?"
"Actually, what I'd like to know can probably be answered somewhere more private" Lily grinned, dragging Rose out of her seat and pulling her towards the Heads common room.
"So fireworks, they can be controlled to create shapes" Scorpius said into the fire in the common room.
"Yeah, and if you'd like, I can get them charmed ready for you" George Weasley replied, his head floating in the grate. "When would you like them for again?"
"Well, McGonagall always askes the Heads to organised celebrations for graduation, so I'm thinking purchase innocent fireworks that have a special Weasley alteration with what they do" Scorpius grinned.
"When's your next Hogsmeade visit?" George asked, "You can come down to the Hogsmeade shop and we can arrange it all"
"It's this week funnily enough, but I have a feeling you knew that" Scorpius grinned.
"Of course I knew! Got to have an inside eye as to how much extra stock I'll need and when. Hugo keeps me informed" George said. "So this Saturday pop down to the shop, ditch Rosie with Lily and we'll talk business"
"Yep, sounds great. Do you think it'll be appreciated?"
"Oh it'll definitely be appreciated" George grinned.
"Right, I have to work on phase 2, so I'll see you on Saturday" Scorpius said, ending the fire call.
"Who was that?" Scorpius jumped up and smacked his head on the mantelpiece.
"Lily! You didn't need to do that! Tell me next time" Scorpius swore, rubbing the back of his head. He felt a bit of a cut, but didn't say anything.
"You seemed to be having a lovely chat with my Uncle George there" she said, eyebrows raised. "Rose's just gone to the loo so you're lucky she didn't overhear any of that, as I'm guessing you don't want her to know. But she can soon find out if you don't tell me what you're up to"
"I'll tell you later" Scorpius muttered as Rose walked through the door.
"Oh, you're here Scorp. I thought you were in the Library with Leo?" she asked.
"I'm just leaving. I left a bit of parchment up here that we were writing references on" he said, holding up a bit of parchment that Lily was certain he wasn't holding the second before. "I'll see you later" he said, giving her a quick kiss before leaving.
"He still won't tell me what he's working on" Rose grumbled.
"I'm sure it's nothing" Lily said, sitting on the sofa. "So, details" she said as Rose sat down.
"What did he say?" Leo asked as Scorpius walked into the Library.
"That it can be done and that if I see him in the shop on Saturday then we can sort it all out" he smiled. "Lily just caught me though, so I'm going to have to tell her that it's for graduation. I'm not telling her the actual plans as she'll tell Rose, but I'll have to tell her a bit of the truth" he said, sitting down. "So, Phase 1: Fireworks is complete. Phase 2: Permissions, how's that going?"
"Well, have to go to speak to both your parents and hers, plus speak to McGonagall. I've been all organised for you and I've sent letters to both the sets of parents on your behalf. They're both going to meet you on Saturday afternoon – Weasleys at 2pm and Malfoys at 2.30, and I'm guessing that'll give you enough time to speak to George before you meet them.
"On the McGonagall front, you need to approach her about starting the graduation plans, fill her in on our twist, and then tell Rose to start planning. Rose can do stuff like invitations, seating plans, decorations and her speech, but keep her away from your speech. Tell her that you've already sorted the fireworks, but don't tell her they're from George otherwise she'll snoop" Leo grinned, pushing a list towards Scorpius.
"Right, so Phase 2 is planned and ready. Phase 3 my dad will help me sort after I see him Saturday, but now we need to begin the plans for Phase 4: Holiday. I think a week in maybe Balearic Islands or the Caribbean?"
"Balearic Islands will be cheaper, plus less hassle with the transport if you're going Muggle" Leo grinned.
"So we want one week in the Balearic Islands – maybe Majorca? I think Ibiza's quite a muggle hotspot, so I think Majorca might be easier to get away with magic"
"Right. I'll find some contacts and we can owl them to sort out accommodation tomorrow lunch. The flights will be a bit trickier as we need to get access to a working telephone."
"We can do that over the Easter break at mine – it's only a week away and we then have not only a working phone but also internet" Scorpius grinned. Just then, the bell rang to mark the end of lunch.
"Tomorrow lunchtime, here, and we'll start to organise Phase 4" Leo smiled. "Let's go to Potions. Parkinson didn't look happy this morning at break – I think a 2nd year blew up their potion again – so let's not be late"
