"Tomorrow lunchtime, here, and we'll start to organise Phase 4" Leo smiled. "Let's go to Potions. Parkinson didn't look happy this morning at break – I think a 2nd year blew up their potion again – so let's not be late"

"So, who've we got?"

"Well, you need to write to Mr Ian Denney in Muggle Admin to arrange muggle passports. You also need to arrange to see Miss Lydia Wyatt at the Ministry. She's a travel planner for people who want to go abroad muggle style. She'll take care of flights, insurance and accommodation for you, so we won't need to faff around with phoning muggle travel agencies and sorting flights" Leo said, throwing a stack of paper on the desk in front of Scorpius, who looked at it all and sighed.

"Right, well, how about we write to the passport admin guy?"

"I said 'write to' what I meant was 'fill out a long request form'" Leo grinned, sliding the 5 page form towards him.

"So this is for both of us?"

"Nope, that one's just for you. There's another one for Rose. Trouble is, we're going to need a signature from her"

"Well, how do I do that?"

"Easy, transfigure the document to make it look like a Mungo's form and just make sure that the only part that doesn't change is the signature box. I've checked it and it is one box at the bottom of the past page. Just transfigure the text over the top to look like a patient request to leave treatment."

"Ok, that should be easy enough. Does anyone else need to sign it?"

"Parents. So take both forms and get the parents to sign them on Saturday"

"You know, you could do this for a living, Leo" Scorpius said as he carefully filled in his passport form. "You could be a really good events manager or something"

"You think so?"

"Go for it, dude! I'll even write you a reference" Scorpius grinned. He signed the form and pushed it aside, before filling out Rose's form too. Once that was also done, he put them together in a little paper folder Leo had produced. He moved on to the letter to Lydia Wyatt.

"Dear Miss Wyatt" Leo dictated, "I would like to arrange a meeting with you to discuss future plans to visit Majorca over the summer. Unfortunately, I am only available during the Ester break, as I am still in full-time education at Hogwarts School. Yours Sincerely, Scorpius Malfoy, Head Boy Hogwarts School" he said, watching Scorpius scribble it all down. "Now, envelope it and I'll owl it" he ordered. "Can you transfigure Rose's form please? Just the last page – don't want to tamper with it too much. I'll take it to her and say that you've gone to a meeting with the Slytherin Quidditch Team concerning their foul play in the last match"

"And I guess I'll actually be talking to McGonagall"

"Good boy! You guessed the right answer! Here's your prize, a chocolate frog!" Leo grinned sarcastically, throwing a chocolate frog at Scorpius. "But don't eat it now! You'll need the calories after you've spoken to dragon lady!" he said, pushing Scorpius out the library.

"Scorpius, how may I help you?" McGonagall asked from her desk as Scorpius walked in. "No Rose in tow today?"

"No Professor" he smiled, sitting down. "I've actually come to ask you about Graduation celebrations"

"You would like to get started?" she nodded. "It's well known that the Head Boy and Girl organise the festivities. How can I help?"

"Well, Professor, I know that all Weasley products are banned in Hogwarts, but I would like permission to use George Weasley's fireworks for the event. He's agreed to add a decorative twist to them for me, so that I can write a message to everyone with them" he explained. "Her's assured me that they are completely safe, and has said that you may test them if you are still unsure. It's just that his are a lot cheaper than any other controllable fireworks and it's quite a long message"

"May I know what this message will say?"

"It's going to finish my speech. But I haven't written it quite yet, so I'm afraid that even I don't know exactly what it'll say" he said.

"As long as George can provide me with one on my desk by tomorrow evening for testing, and it comes up clean, I'll say yes" McGonagall smiled. "Does Rose know of these arrangements?"

"No Professor. I'd like the message to be a surprise to everyone except myself and you" Scorpius smiled.

"I see" she said with a twinkle in her eye. "Any more questions, Scorpius?"

"Actually, Professor, just the one…"

"Rose Weasley! Get your butt over here right now!" Leo screamed into the Great Hall.

"What, Nott!" he heard a scream back, as he watched Rose walk down the aisle.

"You've got to sign this!" he said, handing her the piece of paper.

"St Mungo's Statement?" Rose said. "Dear Miss Wealsey, please sign below and return to St Mungo's administrative office to terminate the current procedures: Hacking, Live Hacking, Psychological Councelling" she read aloud. She took the quill from Leo's hand and signed the form. "I never want to hear from those losers again" she huffed. "Do you want me to post it?"

"No, it's alright. Scorp's going to send a letter to his parents so he said he'll send it when he's out of his meeting with the Quidditch team" Leo explained, taking the letter back and putting it away. "Enjoy the rest of your lunch, Rose" he grinned before turning around.

"NOTT!"

"What?" he turned around.

"What's Scorpius planning?"

"He's not planning anything. He's organising, there's a difference" Leo sighed dramatically. "Planning implies sneakiness and mischievous actions, organising implies making arrangements"

"What's he organising then?"

"Sorry, but that's the limit on the Leo Wisdom" he turned and walked away.

"Leo!" he heard her frustrated groan behind him.

"So she said yes to both?" Leo asked Scorpius as he sat down in the library.

"Yep, all sorted on the school permissions front. I'll just transfigure that form back and then we can post them" Scorpius said, waving his wand carefully over the page, the letters rearranging themselves to their original positions.

"Yep, let's go. By the way, Rose is getting very suspicious of us, we're going to have to avoid questions"

"In a week's time, it's holidays for two weeks. Then when we come back, it's school for 2 weeks then NEWTs for another 2 then we graduate. We can just say that we'll tell her everything after exams. Then she'll get all worked up about how close they are and she'll forget about it. Plus we can occupy her another way by telling her about the ceremony preparations – she'll launch herself into those" Scorpius said with confidence.

"Oh yeah, I forgot we had to plan that all. Is that what your fireworks research is for?" Rose asked when Scorpius told her in the common room that night. Leo and Lily were also sat in the room.

"Yeah! We just thought that if we got that sorted then it's one less thing to worry about" Leo interrupted before Scorpius gave the game away. Scorpius looked at him with shock. Surely he wasn't going to tell her? "We were researching if muggle fireworks can be used and set off under magical conditions, as you know, some muggle stuff goes a bit funny around magic" he said, feeling rather proud of his lie.

"So you're getting muggle fireworks?"

"They're a lot cheaper and they can look quite spectacular" Scorpius said.

"Surely wizarding ones would be easier?"

"Well, Muggle ones have fewer complications on average than wizarding ones – remember that incident where a magic one let loose in the New Forest? We think that it'd be a safer bet to use muggle ones."

"And my Mum knows a supplier who can give us lots of them for cheap" Scorpius added. They were really laying this lie on a lot.

"Ok, fair enough. So they're sorted. What else do we need to sort?"

"Seating, invitations, catering, decorations and we have to write our speeches, but McGonagall said that we have to write our own ones" Scorpius listed. "So how about you and Lily take invitations and decoration and me and Leo will take seating and catering?"

"Sounds great. Well, it's Hogsmeade this weekend, so me and Lils can maybe go visit that party shop next to Honeyduke's. I'm thinking balloons and bunting" Rose immediately started thinking about decorations.

"Well, if you go and do decorations at Hogsmeade, we'll go and sort catering by talking to the house elves" Scorpius said.

"Perfect!" Rose hummed happily.

Later that evening, Rose and Scorpius were sat in their bed, Scorpius reading a book and Rose scribbling on a piece of parchment.

"What are you doing?" Scorpius asked, peering over the page.

"Nu-uh mister, you can't look!" Rose said, leaning away from him and hiding the paper. She stuffed it in her bedside table. "It's draft work for my speech, so don't try and peek"

"Ahhh fair enough. I'll probably write mine over the holidays where I can get Dad to help" he said. He put his book down and lay down under the covers. "It's late, we should probably get some rest"

"Yeah. Night Scorp, love you" Rose said, flicking her wand at the light, which turned off. The room glowed with the gentle night from the starry ceiling above their heads as they fell asleep, hand in hand.

Saturday came sooner than expected for Rose and Scorpius. The days seemed to pass in a blur between school work and planning for the graduation party. When Saturday rolled around, Scorpius was rudely woken by Rose at 8am.

"Why are you awake, it's a Saturday" he groaned.

"I'm meeting Lily at 9 to head into the village, so I need to get dressed and eat food" she explained, pulling on a pair of jeans.

"Do you want me to join you for breakfast?" he asked, already knowing the answer.

"That'd be nice, but you need your beauty sleep" she grinned.

"I am very attractive already, Miss Weasley!" he said, throwing his pillow at her.

"Modesty is the best policy" she sang as she danced out of his pillow range.

"Fine, I'm getting up" he said, sitting up in bed.

At 9, Rose parted ways with Scorpius and left for hogsmeade with Lily. Scorpius wandered down to the Slytherin common room with a bacon sandwich in hand.

"Leo, get up" he said, marching into the 7th year boys dorms.

"I'm already up" he said, emerging from the bathroom with a ca of deodorant in hand. "Rose gone already?"

"Yeah, Lily took her away right at 9" Scorpius said, passing him the bacon sandwich. "We need to go down there ourselves if we're going to get everything done by 2" he said.

"Oh yeah. Well, let me just chuck on a shirt and we can go" Leo said.

"So, you want to use fireworks to write a message, yeah?" George Weasley double checked, leading them into the office at the back of the shop.

"Yeah. It needs to write about 50 letters" Scorpius said, showing him the message he wanted to write.

George grinned as he read the message. "I can do that" he said.

"How much does it cost again?"

"Well, this particular firework, the skywriter, is 2 sickles per letter, so this would be 1,2.." he counted, "5 galleons 11 sickles" he said, "but you can have them for 5 galleons if you promise I get the capture the reactions"

"Deal" Scorpius said, shaking George's hand. "So you can have these ready when exactly?"

"I'll have them by Easter weekend so I'll just bring them with me to the Burrow" he said. "You've no doubt been invited along so you can pick them up then"

"Perfect" Scorpius grinned.

"Thanks, George" Leo said. "Right, we have 2 hours until the meeting, so let's go get lunch and we can read these" he said, holding up an envelope.

"They were quick!" Scorpius said, as he finished his lunch in the Three Broomsticks. "So they replied?" he confirmed.

"Yep" said Leo, opening the envelope. "Dear Mr Malfoy, we are pleased to offer you a meeting with Miss L Wyatt on Maundy Thursday at 11am. We would be delighted to make your muggle holiday dream a reality. Yours, Sarah Price, secretary for L Wyatt, Muggle Travel Administrators."

"Great, so now all we need if for the parents to all sign the passport applications and we can start there" Scorpius grinned.

"Talking of parents, Rose's are early" he said, pointing to the door where Hermione and Ron had just walked in, and were scanning the room for a table. Scorpius stood up to draw their attention, and they soon joined the pair at their table.

"Scorpius, lovely to see you again" Hermione smiled. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I know you're friend" she said apologetically.

"That's alright, Mrs Weasley" Leo smiled. "I'm Leo Nott, Scorp's best friend. I've been helping him organise himself" he grinned, leaning across the table to shake her hand, then Ron's.

"So, Scorpius, why exactly are we here?" Ron asked.

"Well, after graduation, I'd like to take Rose on holiday to maybe Majorca or somewhere" Scorpius said, "And I thought that she'd like to go muggle-style, so I've got some application forms for passports that need signatures" he explained. "I'd also like to ask you some more questions about after graduation" he said, pushing the forms towards them.

"That's a lovely idea, Scorpius! She'll love a muggle holiday. Fire away with the questions" Hermione said, taking a quill from her bag and signing her name.

Half and a hour later, Draco and Astoria joined their table.

"Hermione, Ron" he nodded, sitting down. "Scorp, why are we here? We'll be seeing you in a week" he said.

"I need your signatures" Scorpius said, explaining to his parents about his plans to take Rose on holiday.

"That'll be great fun" Astoria smiled at Hermione. "A break together before you start work."

"That's what I thought" Scorpius grinned. "But there's some other stuff I want to talk to you about too. I've already asked Ron and Hermione this, but I need your help too. I'm planning another surprise for Rose too, hopefully in the middle of the holidays. The trip abroad would hopefully follow this one. I want to…"

Scorpius and Leo wondered back towards Hogwarts at around 3, having said goodbye to the parents.

"Get the grin off your face or she'll know something's up" Leo said.

"I'm just so happy that it is sounding like it'll work" Scorpius grinned back.

"Well, now that's out of the way, we can start working for those important things we have in a few weeks, you know, our NEWTs?"

"Don't remind me" Scorpius groaned.
