Please please please review, it makes mu day! :D Anyway, I don't own a shit!

After breakfast Lily and Marcus decided to take a walk along the lake. It was a very cozy path all around with overgrown plants and trees surrounding it. Lily felt a little shy walking hand in hand with the handsome quidditch player but Marcus seemed totally at easy.

"So yeah, the first time I really took notice of you were during the victory party last year. You were sitting reading a book in one of the armchairs when everyone around you was partying. I remember being intrigued and a little confused as to why you just sat there. I spent all of the summer thinking about you and when I saw you again on September 1st again I felt like my stomach would drop to the floor." Marcus said all this with a small smile and looking her deep in the eyes.

"Why did it take you two months to ask me out after we started?" Lily wasn't sure if that was an appropriate question or if she just sounded conceded but she didn't know how else to respond.

"Honestly it was James, I had heard the rumors about you two and wanted to make sure there was nothing between you before I made a move. I really like the guy and didn't want to step on his turf if you get what I'm saying."

"Oh." Lily wasn't sure how to respond to this either, and she wasn't sure she liked to be referred to as turf, but she let it slide.

"So what's up between you guys anyway?" Marcus asked curiously, "I've heard that you're in some kind of fight?"

Lily blushed slightly, she wasn't proud of what she'd said to James and was a little uncomfortable with people talking about it.

"Yeah, I was having kind of a bad day Friday and I went off on him, I tried to apologize this morning and Black almost took my head off." Lily admitted a little sheepishly.

"Sirius? Really?" Marcus sounded annoyed, "Always thought he was a decent bloke."

"Do you think we could not talk about the marauders?" Lily was feeling quite uncomfortable discussing them.

"Sure thing babe." Marcus responded willingly but with a puzzled expression, he felt he was missing something.

Lily was sitting in the common room the same afternoon reading a book, she and Marcus had parted after lunch, he had qudditch practise. So Lily had spent the rest of her day relaxing, Rosanna were of somewhere and Alice had gone home to visit her mother in the hospital.

Lily was having a hard time concentrating, she had a lump in her stomach that had been there ever since Friday night and for each hour that went by the lump grew heavier. She figuered that it was only one way to get ride of it so she closed her book, took a deep breath, gathered up her Gryffindor courage and headed up the boys dormitory.

She stopped outside the door that said 'Year six: S. Black, R. Lupin, J. Potter and P. Pettigrew.'. She drew another deep breath before she knocked lightly three times.

To her dismay Sirius was the one to open, he looked at her for a second and then firmly closed the door right in her face.

"Hey! Black!" She called through the door before knocking again, harder this time.

She could her some kind of commotion in the room, Remus reproachful tone saying 'Padfoot!' and then Remus opened the door again.

"Hi Lily, how can we help you?" Remus smiled kindly at her.

"Ehrm… Is Potter there?" Lily bit her lower lip nervously, "I need to talk to him."

"You don't think you've done enough damage huh?" Sirius called angrily from inside the room.

"He's out flying at the moment," Remus ignored his friend, "Do you want to come in and wait? He should be back any second."

Lily felt a slight blush creeping on her face but she nodded and murmured: "Sure, why not."

The boys dormitory was a mess; robes, books, sweet wrappers and quidditch gear were strone all over the floor. All of four beds were undone and had clothes laying in piles at the end. Peter was sitting at the floor with his wand in hand and a concentrated frown on his face. Sirius was sitting on his bed, glaring at her and Remus flopped down on own his bed.

Lily stood awkwardly at door, not knowing where to look or what to do. Maybe she should have waited downstairs instead, she would see when he returned through the portrait hole.

"Urm… Sit down," Remus gestured for her to sit on a chair next to his bed and she willingly complied. They sat in silence for a minute or two before Remus spoke again.

"Soo…" Remus seemed to be picking his brain for a topic, "Are you going to Slughorns party?"

Lily was truly thankful for Remus efforts, this would be unbearable if he wasn't here.

"Yes, I heard Arnie Ruthford is going to be there, I'm actually looking forwards to it."

"He is? That's cool! Isn't he really busy? I can't belive he-" Remus sentence got cut short when the door slammed open and James walked in, muddy clothes and his broom over his shoulder.

"That felt so good! I'm gonna take a shower." He didn't see Lily and just walked right into the room. He dumped his broom on the floor and pulled his shirt over his head. Before he could remove his pants Lily stood up.

"Hey!" Lily paniced shout with evident embarrassment in her voice. She did her best not to look at James shirtless body but it was hard, the boy was truly fit.

"Lily? What are you doing here?" James sounded a little uncomfortable to but did nothing to cover his bare upper body.

"I wanted to talk to you, but maybe now isn't the time…" Lily trailed of and felt her face glowing red.

"No, it's fine, do you think you can you wait for me to take a shower?" James asked eagerly, and then added: "Or you could always join me?" With a wink, just to feel that he had the situation under control.

"I'll wait here." Lily sighted and sat down. She could feel her stomach start to make nervous knots and she realized that she had no idea what to say to him.
